Phil's pov
My body felt like it had been chucked into a pool of acid. "See? That's what happens when you betray people Phil," said Brandon in a sickly sweet voice.
"if you had just stuck with us, none of this would have happened." His voice was still sweet but it had a dark undertone. I trembled terrified of what was going to come next. I watched Brandon raise the kettle over the last place he hadn't burned...my face. I screamed and used my last ounce of strength to crawl away as fast as I could. Brandon laughed at me easily catching me up he grabbed my shirt and spat in my face. "How dare you run away from me!?" He screamed in my face. I cringed in terror waiting for the awful pain I was going to feel.
"Don't touch him."
The voice was the one voice I wanted to hear right now.
