They just stayed at the cemetery for almost one and half hour quietly. Richard let her be to have spare time with their child. He knows how painful for her to see our child in this kind of situation. After another half hour she stood up and finishing her prayer.
"Let's go." She says. "Okay. I'm going to book a flight back in Davao tomorrow morning."
"But?"
"What?!?!?!?!?"
"Are you sure? I mean you can stay here for a while take some rest or a vacation?"
"Rest? Vacation?"
"Yes at isa pa halos madaling araw na rin tapos mamaya another day ba ulit. Eh di masyado namang pagod ang katawan mo kung babyahe ka pa."
"Okay. Just bring me on one of the hotel here."
"Huh? Ahm, why don't you stay at our house or in my condo? I mean para makatipid ka."
"Ayoko sa bahay niyo nakakahiya sa parents mo and one more thing hindi tayo magasawa para gawin ko yun."
"Papunta na rin naman dun." He whisper.
"May sinasabi ka?"
"Ah nothing. Sige sa condo ko na lang ikaw magstay and don't worry hindi na ako nagstay dun, minsan na lang kasi gawa din ni Juliana."
"Nakakahiya."
"I don't take no for an answer. Please?"
"Okay. Okay."
He smiled.
"Well, thanks!" She says and smiled.
After a few minutes of ride they're now at his condo, they ride an elevator since his unit was on the 12th floor. Then a *ting* sound heard so it means they already reached it. They walk until they're at the front of his.
"Here is the key." He handed it to her.
"Thanks."
"Do you like me to open this."
"Ah-ye-ah su-re." She's kinda nervous tho.
And it open. "Come in."
"Richard, i can. Thank you. You must go late na oh and drive safely."
"You sure you don't want me to stay for a while to check on you—."
"Rich, im okay na here. You go. Thanks."
"Oh okay. Ahm Rachel, thank you for letting this night be with me."
She just nod and smile as an answer.
"Sana after that ahm," he paused. "Magkaroon sana tayo ng second chance, i mean sana payagan mo ulit akong pumasok sa buhay mo." He continue.
She bow her head, didn't know what to say. Richard hold her chin to let her face to him.
"You don't have to answer yet. I'm just here waiting for you. I know this is hard for you and i won't do things that will make this harder instead i'll help you."
She just hug him tightly and whisper. "Thank you. Drive safely and goodnight." she withdrawn and closed the door. Richard was just standing in front and a smile form on his face before he left.
Rachel woke up from a ray of a sunlight, as she look at the clock it says 7:30 in the morning. She stood up and went to the bathroom to take a quick shower but she remember that she doesn't have any clothes to change.
"Shit! I don't have my undies and bra! WTF. What should i do? Ugh."
Ding dong...............
She go out on the bathroom and still thinking what to do when she heard the doorbell. She open the door to check the visitor.
"Good morn—" she was dumbfounded seeing Rachel wearing his loose shirt above the knee and a neatly bun hair.
"Oh jeez! Pumasok ka na nga dito mamaya may iba pang makakita sakin na ganito ang suot."
"Sorry. Oo nga pala wala ka palang damit."
"Ay oo!" While she was running on the room to get some towel.
"If you want i'll buy you na lang para di ka na mahussle. Ay ito pala i brought you food for your breakfast, naalala ko wala nga palang laman ang fridge ko kasi hindi naman na nga ako nagstay dito ng matagal."
"Ha? How do you that? Alam mo ba ang size ng Br-a ko? At ng —"
"Ako pa? Remember one year naging tayo at nakabuo na nga tayo eh."
"Ewan q sayo! You'll really buy it in your own i mean oo alam mo na ang sizes na kailangan ko pero is it really awkward na lalaki ka then you are buying some girl stuff?"
"No problem. Actually before ang hilig mo pa kayang magpabili sakin ng napkin mo eh."
"Really?" She is laughing out loud. "You are buying that?" She laugh again.
"Ay grabe siya makatawa. Oo naman para sayo. Mahal kaya kita."
She stop from her laugh when she heard what did he tell.
"Ah, salamat pala dito pero pwede bang pakibili na ako so i can take my shower na?"
"Ah yeah sure. Kumain ka masarap yan."
"Sure ka talagang ikaw lang ang bibili?"
"No. Sige na isasama ko na si Juliana."
"Good idea para naman hindi awkward."
"Okay. So bye, give me an hour."
"Thank you."
He was about to go when he remember something. "You're still sexy and alluring Love." Then he left.
She eat the breakfast brought by Richard for her. She can't deny the kilig she has in what Richard was doing to her. Richard on the other hand drive first at their house to fetch Juliana and fortunately, she's already awake.
"Good morning sunshine." Richard says while kissing Juliana's forehead.
"Good morning Pa! Good mood?"
"Yeah. Kinda."
"Is it because Tita Rachel?"
"What about her?"
"Pa, don't deny it. Kitang kita oh!"
"Really? Wait, have you eaten your breakfast already?"
"I'm done! Good thing i woke early."
"It's because we're going to be with me today!"
"And where we going?"
"Go fix yourself and i'll wait for you."
"Okay."
After a few minutes of preparation, Juliana is done and ready to go.
"Pa, let's go."
"C'mon!"
And they arrive at the mall and started their shopping for Rachel's clothes. Juliana is in the undergarments area while Richard was on the dress area.
"Good morning Sir. For your wife?" Saleslady asked.
"Ah yeah."
"So i assume you know her likes and size?"
"Yeah." He get the dress he choose. "Do you have this red?" Referring to the dress.
"Yes sir. Would you please wait here for a while." Saleslady says and left him.
"Pa! This is it!"
"Are you sure magkakasya to sa kanya?"
"Yes Pa! As you said parang kay Mama lang na size diba?"
"Yeah."
"Sir excuse me, here it is."
"Wow! It looks wonderful Pa! Babagay yan sa kanya."
"Yeah specially if your wife has a white skin, it really suite her." The saleslady says
"Okay. I'll get it."
And so on and so on. Shop. Shop. Shop.
Rachel is already done on her breakfast but still Richard was not yet coming so she decided to clean his condo and after a few hours of waiting the doorbell rings but unfortunately Rachel fell asleep after being tired in cleaning the area good thing he has the spare key. When Richard got in he notice the cleanliness of his condo.
"Rachel? I'm here, sorry ah mukang busy ka that's why i open it since i have the spare key naman. Here is your clothes you can take shower and change na and nagdala na rin ako ng panglunch." But it seems like he's talking in the air. "Rachel?" He called again but no sign of her. Richard decided to go to the room to check on her.
When he open the door, he saw Rachel comfortable lying on the bed and sleeping soundly. Her hair is a mess and notice that she has the small bids of sweat on her temple so he came closer to wipe it and while doing that he just staring at her, memorizing her beautiful face.
"Oh God knows how much i missed you Love. Sorry that we should be on this situation." He slowly kiss her on lips quickly.
Rachel on the other hand was half awake but her body is not with her. She slowly opening her eyes and saw Richard sharing at her while smiling. They stayed on that position for almost 10mins. He kiss him again and she respond on it passionately, they just kissing until Richard withdrawn on it.
"Thank you for a chance to kiss you again. By the way, your clothes are already here i think you should take shower na mukang napagod ka sa ginawa mo." He stood up.
She is just quiet and can't think any words to say. "Oh thanks for buying."
"You're always welcome. I also have food there for your lunch so take your shower na and i'll prepared the lunch." After saying that hel left her.
"He is such a gentleman." On her thought before she stood up to take shower.
After a few minutes she already go out on her room and she finds Richard busy preparing for their food.
"You don't have to do that. I can make it."
"I insist. Okay lang sanay naman ako kasi you know what when Lucy died ako na ang nagasikaso kay Juliana. Before i went to the office isusure ko munang ayos na ang lahat para sa kanya. Minsan nga pag napapasobra ang luto ko binabaon ko na rin."
She is just listening to him while smiling. "So kaya pala pati pagpili ng damit for girls alam mo din?"
"Yup! Tsaka diba nga lagi tayong magkasama before kapag nagshoshopping ka."
"Oh i see."
"Oh ayan tapos na, kain ka na."
"Ha? Ako lang sabayan mo na ako. Let's eat together."
"You want ba?"
"Why not. C'mon let's eat!"
He pull a chair for her to sit. "Thanks." She mouthed.
They started to eat and shares some stories.
"In all ferness i like the designs of the clothes you brought."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I really like it."
"Well bagay rin kasi sayo eh."
"Oh?"
"Magkatulong kami ni Juliana sa pagpili ng mga damit mo at tsaka yung ano mo, ung ano siya ang pumili."
"Yeah. Well, maganda rin ang choices niya. Salamat talaga."
"No worries."
She smiled as an answer.
"Ahm Rachel?"
"Yes?"
"Any plans for today?"
"Ahmmm, nothing. Tsaka isa pa sino naman ang makakasama kung aalis if i want diba?"
"If you want im free. I mean i can join you. If gusto mo lang."
"At san mo naman ako dadalhin?"
"Bakit, gusto mo bang kasama ako na iexplore and Manila?"
"Pwede na din."
"Anong pwede na din? Oo at hindi lang."
"Ahmmmm, eh di OO."
"Okay. So after this alis na tayo. May naiisip na akong gagawin."
"Ano naman yun?"
"Basta surprise."
"Okay then."
