Isabel’s P.O.V
I sighed heavily as Koga continued to flirt with Kagome. It was like this every time that he picked up her scent. He would leave Ginta, Hakkaku, and I off his in dust and run off towards her scent. I didn’t mind though, I didn’t like Koga like that. He was like a brother to me, but what I did mind was the way that Inuyasha reacted. He always got mad at Koga and starts a fight with him, but what can I do? I know that he likes her or maybe loves her. I sighed again. Ginta looked over at me questionably. I gave him a smile, telling him that I was okay, even though I really wasn’t. I wish Inuyasha would see that I have strong feelings for him, but he doesn’t like our kind. Koga ruined that for me. “Off in your own world while staring at Inuyasha again I see.” I turned my head to Ginta and Hakkaku grinning at me. I rolled my eyes.
“Psh as if I would like that mutt” I said. Inuyasha’s ears perked. He looked over at me.
“What the hell did you just say?” Inuyasha semi-yelled. I gave him a blank stare.
“I think I said as if I would like that mutt, mutt” I said, giving Inuyasha a sarcastic tone. Inuyasha growled lowly.
“You’ll pay for that” Inuyasha growled. I smirked at him.
“We’ll see about that” I said. Inuyasha was about to pounce on me until Koga stepped in his way.
“I would love to see which one of you would win in a fight, but we really must be on our way” Koga said. He walked over to Kagome, grabbed her hands, and leaned towards her. “I will see you soon” Koga said. Koga quickly turned around and ran off, a mini whirlwind following behind him. I gave Inuyasha one last look before I turned around and followed Koga, Ginta, and Hakkaku.
Inuyasha’s P.O.V
My heart ached when I saw her leave. I hated seeing her walk away, leaving. I hated that she traveled with Koga and not me. Sure I acted like I like Kagome and all, but I really don’t. I like Isabel and I want to tell her, but I’m afraid that she likes Koga with the way that she stares at him when he flirts with Kagome. I sighed heavily. “You should tell her you know. Before someone else sweeps her off of her feet” Maroku said. I looked over my shoulder at him.
“She likes Koga” I said. I tried to hide the sadness that I was feeling. Maroku smiled at me.
“Inuyasha, she doesn’t like Koga. She’s always staring at you” Maroku said. I stopped walking, turned around, and faced him.
“Really” I said, questionably. Maroku nodded his head yes. I couldn’t help but smile.
Isabel’s P.O.V
I couldn’t get Inuyasha off of my mind. I loved everything about him, even his temper. I thought that he was cute when he’s mad. I sighed and gazed up at the sky. All of the stars were out and the moon was shining brightly. “Thinking about that mutt I take it” Koga said as he approached me. I turned my head slightly and gave him a sideways glance.
“So what if I am?” I asked him. Koga smiled down at me.
“It’s not a problem if that’s what you were thinking” Koga said. Koga sat next to me, criss-crossed. I smiled at him.
“Well Inuyasha is better than a human” I said. Koga rolled his eyes at me.
“Psh, whatever” Koga said. Nothing more was said. We just sat there, in silence, watching the stars. “He’s in town you know” Koga said. I looked over at Koga questionably.
“How do you know that?” I asked him. Koga gave me a look that said are you really asking me that. I sat up, turned around, and walked away. “I’ll see you later” I said as I walked towards town. I thought that it was time that I told Inuyasha how I felt about him, even if he likes Kagome, I just need to know. I just need to know if he likes me back or not. And if he doesn’t then I tried, right? By the time that I reached town I tried to pick up Inuyasha’s scent. It was a little hard since they were so many other scents, but I finally picked up his. I followed his scent until I stood in front of a motel room. I opened the door and walked in. The old lady at the counter gave me a smile.
“Can I help you?” she asked me. I smiled at her and nodded my head yes.
“I’m looking for a boy, long silver hair with dog ears” I told her. The old ladies smile grew.
“He’s in the last room on the right” she said. I said thank you and headed towards where she said that he was. I didn’t hear anything when I reached his door.
“Maybe he’s sleeping” I said to myself out loud. I slowly raised my hand and knocked. Inuyasha didn’t answer. I sighed, giving up. I turned around. I slammed into something hard.
“What are you doing here, Isabel?” Inuyasha asked. I looked up at him since he was a few feet taller than me and gave him a smile.
“I just wanted to talk to you” I said. Inuyasha gave me a surprised look.
“Okay, come in” Inuyasha said. He walked past me and opened up his room. He left the door opened for me. I walked in and closed the door behind me. Inuyasha was sitting on his bed, observing me. “So what did you want to talk about, Isabel?” Inuyasha asked. I couldn’t help but feel the goose bumps run across my skin when he said my name. I hesitated. I didn’t know how to say what I wanted to say. Inuyasha noticed my hesitation. “Isabel, you can tell me anything” Inuyasha said. I smiled at him.
“I know that. I want to tell you. I just can’t find the words to tell you” I said. I’ve never been like this before. I’ve always been able to say what’s on my mind, but this time I couldn’t. Inuyasha got off of the bed and walked over to me. I didn’t notice that he was near me until he cupped my face. I looked up at Inuyasha questionably.
“Well if you won’t say what you want to say then let me say something that’s been on my mind for a long time” Inuyasha paused, he leaned closer to me, our lips brushing across each others. “I like you, Isabel. A lot” Inuyasha said. My heart leaped in my chest. I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Inuyasha likes me back. I smiled at him.
“I like you too, Inuyasha” I said. Inuyasha smiled and gently kissed me. I raised my right hand and started to run my fingers through Inuyasha’s hair. Inuyasha moaned quietly into the kiss. I smirked. Inuyasha put his hand behind me and pulled me closer to him. His body was rock hard, but it felt good against mine. It felt right. Inuyasha and I started backing up to the bed slowly, me climbing on top of him as he laid on his back against the bed. I undid Inuyasha’s shirt a little bit, running my finger up and down his chest.
