Michael's POV
"Hey, Mike." Frank says shaking me. I open my eyes slowly and yawn.
"Hmm?" I ask sleepily.
"You are the hardest person to wake up. He says chuckling. "We just landed."
"Oh okay." I say before closing my eyes again. He laughs.
"Michael don't make me have Bill dump cold water on your butt." he chuckles. I chuckle and wake up stretching with a yawn. Frank gets up an looks out the plane window.
"You ready to make a run for it?" Franks asks. I adjust my Ray Bans and look out the window. The fans are behind the gates. I sigh and give a small smile. I am a little tired still, but I am excited to see my fans. The only thing is that...I have to run fast. I grab my varsity-styled jacket and as soon as the plane doors open, I start running toward the van. Everyone starts to scream loud, and I wave as I hop in. When I get in the car, I lean back and close my eyes.
"Hey sleepyhead." a familiar voice says. I open my eyes and there sitting next to me is Tatiana.
"TATI!" I say immediately have my lips locked on hers. She giggles and I feel the vibrations against my lips.
"How did you get here?" I ask. She smiles and brushes a curly stand of her away from her face.
"Frank, let me surprise you." she says. I smile and pull her closer to me. She leans her head on my shoulder, and I kiss her forehead.
"Diana kept talking about how amazing you were." I tell her. She smiles and presses her lips against my neck.
"So you've been talking about me?" she whispers in my neck. I shiver a bit, and giggle. I feel myself blush.
"Well, uhm. You know, I just.." I find myself babbling. And she chuckles. I giggle and look out the window as we head to the hotel, which isn't far away.
"Tatiana, what were you going to tell me at the hotel?" I ask. She looks at me, and takes a deep breath.
Tatiana's POV
"Michael, the truth is--" then Bill (who is driving) says;
"We're here Michael." he says. I try not to groan. Michael gives me a smile, and helps me out the car. He squeezes my hand, and kisses my cheek as we go inside the hotel's kitchen doors. As soon as we get to his room, his lips crash against mine, it takes me a minute to get my head together and not get carried away. I pull away gently and blush.
"Michael...." I start to say. He blushes slightly embarrassed.
"Oh right, what did you want to talk about?" he asks. Then the phone rings. I sigh and he smiles.
"Ignore it. You have my full attention." he says sitting on the bed. I sit next to him, and look at him in the eye.
"Michael, there is something you should seriously know." I start to say. The phone keeps ringing. I sigh and look at it.
"Michael, you should answer it. It's obviously important." I say. He sighs and reaches across the bed to answer it.
"Hello?" he says into the phone. He pauses for a moment "Oh hey!".
"Really?! That's incredible!!" he says. He glances at me and bites his lip smiling. "Okay, I'll tell her." he says, before hanging up. He giggles and kisses me deeply. I find myself lying flat on my back as he gives me quick pecks on my lips, before pulling away. I am out of breath and I giggle.
"What was that for?" I ask. He smiles.
"It was a huge congratulations." he says. I look at him confused.
"Congratulations?" I ask confused. "For what?"
"You have been nominated for 3 Grammy's." he says. "We are in the same category. Quincy told me to tell you."
"Is that possible?" I ask confused. He laughs and shakes his head.
"It's possible." he says laughing.
"I don't want to be nominated." I say. He looks at me surprised.
"Tatiana, are you crazy?! This is a huge honor." he says. "Aren't you happy?"
"I am, but I'm not." I say. He looks even more confused.
"Why?" he says.
"I'm in the same categories as you." I tell him. "I don't want to win."
"Tatiana...." he says rubbing his forehead. "Let me get this straight. You don't want to be nominated because we are in the same category." he says blankly.
"Yes." I tell him. He shakes his head and laughs.
"I want you to win. I mean you've worked hard on it, and I wont win anyway." I tell him. He rolls his eyes.
"Don't say that! You will!" he says. "You've worked just as hard, and I couldn't be more proud of you." he says kissing my hand.
"Your not mad?" I ask him. He laughs.
"Why would I be?" he asks.
"Because.....we are in the same category. And there is that possibility of a one and a million chance that I would win."
"I want you to win. More than anything." he says with a smile.
"You wont be mad, if I do?" I ask.
"No, I'll be giving you a standing ovation." he chuckles.
"I still don't want to." I tell him. He laughs and shakes his head.
"Oh Tati, what am I going to do with you?" he asks.
Paul's POV
"Paul, are you sure you want to do this?" my assistant, Gia, asks as she watches me throw a suitcase in the backseat.
"Yes. Yes, I do." I snap. I wince a little and give her an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you." I tell her. She gives an understanding smile.
"It's cool. Do you know when you will be back?" she asks. I shrug.
"Dunno, hopefully by next week." I tell her as I jump in the car.
"Be careful." she says. I nod as I pull out the driveway.
Michael's POV
I'm in my trailer, getting ready for an interview for the tour. Tatiana walks in, already ready.
"Hey." she says. I smile and throw a grape at her. She giggles and sits down across from me, as I button up my shirt.
"Can we talk now?" she asks. I smile and lock the doors.
"Okay now there will be no distractions." I tell her. I really want to know why she wants to talk.
"Michael, something has been really eating me up lately and I feel like I need to tell you." she says. I feel myself getting worried.
"What is it, Tati?" I ask. As soon as she opens her mouth, and the door opens. Man, I thought I locked it. I sigh and turn around and see Rachel. She smirks and throws something on the table.
"What is this?" I ask confused.
"People's magazine." "Tati, you made the front cover!" she says with a smile. I pick it up and see Tatiana on the front cover. I read the headlines.
TATIANA THUMBTZEN AND JACKO RELATIONSHIP IN TROUBLE?
I wince a bit at the term "Jacko". It is such a stupid name, I mean if you want to say something about me, at least use my name correctly.
"Page 36." Rachel says with a smirk. I turn the page, and see Tatiana and Paul. I look up at her and she is giving death glares at Rachel. I read the article and feel my throat closing up at each word.
Tatiana's POV
I watch Michael as he reads.
"A star love triangle? You better belive it. It is now believed that supermodel, and grammy-nominated singer; Tatiana Thumbtzen is having an affair with Paul Walker. While the new it-girl is rumored to be dating pop-star Michael Jackson, it is reported that Walker left her Los Angeles, home; after spending the night..." Michael's voice goes hoarse. He puts the magazine down and doesnt say anything for a split second.
"Michael..." I start to say. Then Rachel looks at me with a smirk.
"I told you, Michael. She's a slut." Rachel says playing with her hair. Michael look at me, and his looks tell me he believes her.
“You’ve got to be joking.” I say slowly, trying to control my anger.
Michael arches his eyebrows. “Do I look like I’m joking?” He was pissed.
I shake my head side to side slowly in amazement with Rachel watching the production she has caused.
He believes Rachel… How could he?!?
"While we are at it, Tatiana why dont we tell Michael why you got expelled from The American Ballet School, or why you dropped out of high school?" she says. I feel my body go numb with anger.
"What other scandals have you been involved in Tatiana?!" she asks.
"Say one more thing, Rachel. And I'll show you a scandal." I hiss.
“Expelled?” Michael choked. “What’s wrong with you?” He was looking over at me when he asked that, as if he’s questioning my sanity. "You dropped out of school?!"
I feel myself get angry. "What's wrong with me, what is wrong with you?!" I yell.
I remember asking that same question after everything I went through with Jack. What was wrong with me.
"What's wrong with you to believe Rachel and stupid lies?!" I say feeling my rage build up. I look at Rachel. "And what on earth is wrong with you?! Do you enjoy making my life miserable?!"
Michael eyes burn into mine. "Rachel you can leave." he hisses through his teeth. She smirks before walking out.
"You seriously believe her?" I say my voice getting hoarse. Michael looks at me angrily.
"Who else am I suppose to believe?" he hisses. He picks up the magazine waving it wildly.
"Tell me Tatiana is this a lie?!" he yells. "Please, tell me!" he yells.
"No it isnt. But it didnt happen that way!" I yell back.
"Why the hell did you get expelled from ABS?! And drop out of school?!" he yells louder. I am almost taken aback. I get up and by this time Michael and I are face to face.
"I am sure as hell not telling you, when you cant even believe me! Who are you with Rachel or me?!" I snap. His eyes go dark.
"I should ask that about you and Paul! Or is it Greg?!" he yells. I shake my head and give a sarcastic chuckle as I cross my arms. He looks at me.
"Are you going to tell me why all of this is happening?" he snaps. "After all we've been through Tatiana?!" he yells. I am so angry, and I look at him dead in the eye.
“After all we’ve been through, Michael? Seriously? What have we been through, sex?!”
Michael’s face drops into a emotionless stare, like I've slapped him. “Tatiana… Exactly how many men have you slept with before me?”
“I’m not telling you that either.” I snap. What was the point? He would believe Rachel over me.
“So a lot, huh?” Michael chuckles. “Why do you think Rachel is trying so hard to make us split, then?”
“Because she’s crazy…?”
““Maybe she is trying to protect me.”
"Protect you?! I'd hate to see what it would be like if she betrays you!" I snap.
“Quit playing , this is serious!” Michael says. “Why can’t you tell me what’s really going on with you?We can figure this out.”
“There’s nothing to figure out.” I say angrily, walking to the door.
“Why can’t you tell me? You know you can trust me.” he says. I look at him feeling tears go down my face.
"Just like you trust me." I say before leaving.
