Day 42 - Something You Did Today
Today was not really eventful...
In the morning, when I woke up, I had no plans. I was a little worried because, one of the boys didn't have school so we had to do something. Around 8:45, we decided that it would be a great idea to just go and pick up a friend and go swimming. We did just that.
We went swimming, then we had lunch. After lunch we took the friend back home and then we went back to our house. I was so tired, but I didn't go to sleep. Instead, I hung out with the boys in the living room for about an hour. Later, I made dinner and we ate.
After dinner, we had our usual family night, which is usually game night or movie night. We watched one of my favorite movies NARNIA...The boys had never watched it before, so it was perfect. I loved it and so did they. It was so fun watching them scream at the TV whenever someone was doing something they shouldn't. The youngest cried when the lion died and it was just such a great time together. I remembered why I loved this movie so much, it's the story behind it...
This is one of my favorite quotes in the movie... If the Witch knew the true meaning of sacrifice, she might have interpreted the deep magic differently. That when a willing victim who has committed no treachery, is killed in a traitor's stead, the stone table will crack, and even death itself would turn backward
