Tatiana's POV
I stand there for a moment at the trailers door. I quickly wipe away my tears. How could Michael not even listen to me, or trust me? How could he even hire Rachel? I walk to the car, and slam the door. I didn't mean to push Michael, but the way he grabbed me...was exactly like how Jack grabbed me as I tried to run away. I didn't even see Michael, I just saw Jack...
I am so deep into thought, I don't even notice Paul tapping on my windows. I roll my windows down, and his smile fades away seeing me.
"Tatiana? Are you okay?" he asks. Truthfully no. I just feel sick, and this whole thing with Michael is eating me alive.
"Here, I'll drive. You don't look to well." he says. I open the door and slide over, and don't even bother to protest. He gets in and starts the car.
"Are you alright?" he asks. I shake my head and close my eyes. I feel tears go down my face.
"I'll take you home." he whispers. We drive for a few minutes without saying a word to one another. Finally Paul sighs.
"You want to talk about it?" he asks.
"Not right now." I say pressing my forehead against the cool car window. We drive up to my house. I finally bought a new one before Rachel and I fell out; and my parents are suppose to be moving here soon. Paul gets out the car and opens the door for me. I get out and walk to the door fiddling with my keys. We walk inside and go in the kitchen. He's been here before, so it isnt a big deal.
"Wait, how are you going to get home?" I ask. He shrugs.
"I'll call a cab." he says.
"If you want anything you can just grab it out of the fridge." I tell him as I sit down at the kitchen counter and lay my head against the cool counter.
"Tatiana...are you sure your okay? I mean you look a little sick." he says.
"I'm so hot; and my head hurts." I mumble. He frowns and reaches across the counter and presses his hand against my forehead.
"Damn, your burning up." he mutters. He whistles for a split second; and looks around.
"You got a thermoter?" he asks.
"Bathroom cabinet on the left hand-side." I mumble with my eyes closed. It doesnt take him long to come back.
"Open." he says. I open my mouth as he pops it in. I put my head on the counter, and we wait until the thermoter beeps. He takes it out, and he gasps.
"Tatiana! It's 100.2!" he says. "You need to get in bed right now."
"Right here is just fine." I say with my eyes still closed. I suddenly feel him pick me up. I am to tired to protest. He goes upstairs trying to be gentle with me and carries me in my room and puts me on the bed.
"Should I call Michael?" he asks. I shoot up, and instantly regret it because my head pounds.
"Hell no." I snap. He raises his hands defensively.
"Damn, okay. I wont call." he sucks in his cheeks. "Okay; I'll be back. Stay here." he says. He runs out and I hear him run water. He comes back with a wet wash cloth.
"Here." he puts it on my forehead. It feels nice and cold. "This should help take the fever down." he mumbles.
"Thank you, Paul." I mumble. He smiles. I like his smile; it makes his blue eyes sparkle.
"If you want, I can stay with you...you know until you get better." he says. I smile.
"Thank you. That's very sweet." I say.
"If you want, I can go to the store and get you some meds." he says.
"Can you? You can take my car." I tell him. He nods and starts to walk out of my room.
"Paul?" I say weakly. He turns around and looks at me.
"Thanks...your a good friend." He smiles and gives me a wink before leaving.
Paul's POV
I run downstairs and grab Tatiana's keys. I wonder what happened with her and Michael. Usually when she talks about him she gets all happy and bubbily. She didnt even stay long for his short film. I hop in her car and start driving. I wonder if I should tell her the truth now, or wait until she gets better........
I am somewhat happy she is letting me stay until she gets better. I mean even though she is with Michael; I still really like her. I know she doesnt have feelings for me; but.......I can't explain it. I promise though, I wont try to make a move on her. I know way better than that. It's just nice to be around her.
Michael's POV
I sit in my trailer for a little while; staring in space when Rachel walks in.
"Oh Michael...dont be sad." she says sympathetically. I have to admit she is pretty. Nice figure, curly thick black hair, and a pretty face; but Tatiana....
"Thanks Rachel...I just need a minute." I tell her giving her a small smile. She gives me a sympathetic smile and walks out. Being with Tatiana can be the most difficult, wonderful thing ever. Right now its just the difficult part.
"Auggh!" I groan before leaving the trailer. Are relationships seriously this complicated?!
Paul's POV
"Hey Tatiana, I'm back!" I call as I run up the stairs. "I got you some medicine!" I say excitedly as I walk in her room. She is sitting upright and gives me a weak smile. I noticed she changed into a simple nightgown.
"Thanks Dr. Walker." she says with a slight giggle. She reaches for the bag, and I pull away.
"One more thing.." I say with a smile. I pull out a bucket of vanilla ice cream and movies. Her face lights up.
"Aww Paul!" she says hoarsely.
"But first....medicine!" I sing. She makes a face as I open up a bottle and pour it in a medicine cup.
"Drink up." I tell her. She swallows and makes a sour face. I hand her the bucket of ice cream with a spoon. She smiles and opens it.
"So you want to tell me about Michael?" I ask. She's quiet for a moment.
"Come on Tat; you can trust me." I tell her.
"That's exactly the problem. Michael doesn't trust me!" she says as she eats her ice cream. "And Rachel is a psychotic bitch."
"No kidding." I mutter under my breath.
"What?" she asks raising her eyebrows.
"Oh nothing; wait why doesn't Michael trust you?" I ask. She sighs and sinks in her pillow as she tells me about Michael, their fight, and Rachel.
"Damn..." I say running a hand through my hair. Rachel is seriously at work.
"Michael can be just so....difficult! He acts like he cant trust me." she says. I sigh and look out the window.
"Maybe look at it in his point of view." I tell her. She raises her eyebrows as I clear my throat.
"Well Michael is probably the most famous person to ever walk the earth.....I mean maybe its hard for him to trust people because a lot of people use him." I tell her. She doesn't say anything for a minute.
"He could at least trust his girlfriend." she mutters before eating more ice cream. "I mean trust is everything in a relationship, or friendship" she says. I almost wince.
"He should also know you cant believe what EVERYONE says." she snaps. I can tell she is getting angry.
"I'm sure you guys will work it out. You guys really are meant to be." I tell her. She rolls her eyes.
"Whatever. Can we watch movies now?" she asks. I nod and turn on the TV before popping a VHS tape in the player. I hop in bed and sit up next to her as we watch movies.
Michael's POV
I get home, and walk past the phone. Should I call Tatiana? I kind of feel bad about our fight....and I had a little time to cool down a bit. I shake my head and give an irritated frown. Hell no. If anything I deserve an apology, right? I miss her though...... a little.
Tatiana's POV
It's late...actually 2 am to be exact. Paul fell asleep next to me. Chill out he is not close next to me; not even under the covers. It doesn't even feel the same as sleeping next to Michael. I sigh and rest my hand on my cheek as I settle under the covers. I miss him a little.....but when I get back on tour with him its going to be so awkward. And with Rachel it will be hell......for her and me.
