Lucy is just a simple lady who loves to help her family specifically her parents. She raise with so much love, like Dawn she is just the only daughter. Growing up alone is not hard for her by the help of her Nanay and Tatay. Lucy's family is not rich, they are living and renting in a simple apartment at Manila. Her life is full of joy and happiness. She didn't feel any sadness being with her two great gifts from God.
Her Nanay is working at one of the Carenderia near at their house and in front of her school. Her parents didn't allow her to study at Pubic school but instead she was studying at one of the Private school that's offering a scholarship. She was Valedictorian when she graduated at Elementary so it's not hard for her parents to enroll at the same school she graduated elementary. Her Tatay was working on one of the Richest family in their province at Cebu. That was the family of Pia Campos.
"Mano po tay"
"Anak, anong ginagawa mo dito? diba sabi ko sayo tulungan mo ang nanay mo sa carenderia?"
"Ayos na po Tay. Nasa bahay na po si Nanay" She says while brooming the hacienda of Campos.
"Bakit ang aga naman atang nagsara ng carendria?"
"Eh kasi po maagang naubos eh. Kaya nagdecide na rin po ako na tulungan kau para maaga na rin kayo matapos at magkasabay sa hapunan sa bahay mamaya"
"Naku talaga naman tong anak ko. Sige tapusin na natin to at naghahantay na ang Nanay mo"
Lucy is the sweetest. She loves to cuddle to her Nanay and Tatay. After a few hours of cleaning they're done and preparing to go home.
"Are you leaving?" A girl talk same as her age.
"Ah opo Mam Pia. Tapos na po kasi kaming maglinis ni Tatay. May iuutos po ba kayo?"
"I heard you're in rush to go home for dinner with your parents?"
"Ahm opo. Pasensya na po. Pero kung may iuutos po kayo ga—"
"No. it's ok. Well, i wanted to ask if i can go with you? Can i eat dinner with your family?"
"Po?"
"You heard me right?"
"Opo Mam. Pero mam medyo mainit po dun sa amin baka di po kayo sanay tsaka pano po kung dumating si Señora at Sir Campos?"
"Don't mind them. Later pa sila uuwi as usual they're attending a ball again and i'm just alone eating dinner. How sad right?"
"Sigurado po kayo?"
"Yes i'am. Sumabay na kayo sa akin. where is your tatay? Called him so we can go"
"Opo Mam"
The ride was just quiet. No one wants to speak until they reach the place of Torres.
"Mam Pia, dito na po ang sa amin"
"Let's go"
And they all go down and walk. The people outside is just staring at them and whispering while others are amaze and dumbfounded.
"Mano po Nay"
"Oh andito na pala kayong mag-ama. Tamang tama tapos na tong hapunan natin. Halika ka na't maupo"
"Nay, may kasama po kami ni Tatay"
"Ha? eh sino naman?"
"Si Mam Pia po"
"Ano?!?!?!"
"Good evening po. Sorry for the inconvenience but i ask Lucy if i can join you on dinner?"
"A-h oo naman po Mam, naku pasensya na po ha at toyo lang po ang naihanda ko at itlog na pula"
"No worries po i bring something po. Ahm, manong pakibigay na lang and join us also"
They started to eat their dinner. Pia ks just simple girl, she didn't grow up brat instead she loves to be on the people who's really in need. She was so charitable at her young age. After a few hours of eating, talking and laughing they're all done.
"Thank you so much for having me and allowed me to join you on dinner"
"Naku wala po yun Mam Pia. Eh nakakahiya nga po eh"
"It's ok po. I enjoyed Toyo and Red egg ha"
They all burst into laughter.
"I need to go. Thank you again Mr and Mrs Torres"
"Wala po yun Mam Pia. Ingat po paguwi"
"Ahm Nay, Tay ihatid ko lang po si Mam Pia"
"No need Lucy, i'm with my driver naman and i can take care of myself"
"Naku, marami pong loko loko dito Mam baka po mapagtripan pa kayo"
"Alam niyo ba Mam Pia yang batang yan eh napakatapang kaya walang bumabastos diyan o kahit na sino sa mga kasama niya" Her Tatay says proudly
"Really? Ok so if your insisted then shall we?"
"Ah sige po tara na po"
And they walk until they reach the car of Pia.
"Lucy would you please tell to your parents my Thank you?"
"Naku Mam Pia nakakarami na po kayo sa kakathank you niyo. Kami na po ang nahihiya eh" She smiled.
"Call me Pia na lang ok?"
"Po? Di po ba parang nakakahiya naman po. Amo ko po kayo"
"You're not working for me, sa Parents ko kayo nagwowork so don't call me Pia. Feeling ko kasi ang tanda ko na"
She smiled "Sige ba"
Pia held her hands "Friends?"
"Friends" And they shake hands.
After that, they become friends as in Best of friends! Every time her parents is not in their house at dinner she use to join the family of Lucy. Their relationships bind stronger as years go by. They share secrets. They are always together morning until evening. When they finish their Grade 12, Lucy's mother died because of Cancer. The family of Pia help them in the medication of her Nanay but the sickness didn't cure. It was the most painful for Lucy. His Tatay still working at the hacienda of Campos and since College is expensive she stop and finds work for his Father and her to live but Pia didn't allow her to do and since she graduated Valedictorian again in their class she take exams in some universities to get a scholarship. And the odds are in her favour, almost all of her exam got a passing grade. She took business administration at FEU with Pia. Her to three years in College was perfectly great until another painful event happen to her again, her Tatay died due to heart attack. Her world break into smaller pieces, the two gifts that God gave her is now lost. After a two weeks of grief she is now back in the reality of life that she's alone. Pia is still on her side and now she's living at Campos house. They become closer and treated each other as sister. One year of their last stage in college has done, they graduated same as the year to the graduation of Rich, Dawn, Andrea and Mark. Lucy work at the business of the Campos. She is the Executive Assistant of Pia and Pia is now the COO of Campos Corporation at their branch in the Philippines.

"What are you saying Ms. Torres? My son is the father of your child?"
she nodded while crying as her conscience is knocking her but she has no choice. Rich came at the house without knowing anything
"Good eve Ma" She kiss her mother and notice that there is someone sobbing. He faces it and was surprise, he clear his throat before he talk. "You? What re you doing here?" he says emotionless.
"Son, is it true?" Anita ask authoritative.
"What? What do you mean Ma?" Rich ask curiously.
"She's pregnant and it's yours"
He was stunned on what he heard. he's just staring at Lucy no emotion at all.
"I'm asking you again Richard. Is that yours?" Anita repeated the question.
He nod and he didn't know why maybe he just misses his child with Dawn that's why he just answer Yes even if he's not sure. Lucy was surprise hearing Rich answer Yes even if they didn't talk yet.
"I left you two alone and talk about my grandchild. I want that child use ours"
Anita left them both not staring at each other. No one has the courage to start the conversation until Lucy speak.
"I'm sorry. Hindi kita ginugulo but i just need to tell you that's why i'm here but unfortunately Mama mo ang dumating at kinausap ako. I just need a father for my child. Ayokong lumaki siya na hindi niya kilala ang tatay niya. Wala akong ibang hihinging, ang anak ko lang amg mahalaga. Hindi mo na ako kailangan intindihin, gusto ko lang malaman mo na may responsibilidad ka na ngayon. Pasensys na" She eas about to stand up when Rich speak.
"Marry me" he says straightly.
She was surprise. She don't want anything but for her child only.
"I never ask you to—" she didn't continue anymore.
"How should that child use mine if we're not legally married? Magiging bastarda pa yan"
"Are you sure on this?"
"This is what my Mom wants. Maybe we'll talk tomorrow for this" he says without looking at Lucy "Manang, pakitawag naman po si Adrian" he instructed. After a few seconds Adrian arrive.
"Sir, pinapatawag niyo daw po ako?" Adrian says.
"Hatid mo siya and keep her and my child safe"
"Yes sir. Let's go Mam"
"Lucy. Just call me Lucy"
"Let's go na po"
She was about to walk but stop when he speak again "Keep yourself safe and my child" Still no emotion.
"Thank you" and she didn't look at him and leave.
The days passed by after the confrontation they had. Preparation for their wedding is starting, all of them are busy. And the day has come, it was 25th of May. The reception is not elegant at all, they want it as simple celebration only with their closest friend only. They don't want a lot of media and a lot of questions coming from the people they don't know. The wedding is over, the visitors are coming out of the place. The newly wed just choose to rest at the mansion of Gomez, they have their own rooms because the wedding is just a plan for the child not for them. They are in that situation until she gave birth to Juliana.
Juliana has her own room but for now she needs to be at her mom's room. Lucy is hands on when it comes to taking care of her only child but Rich still hired a Yaya for her. Years go by and when she reach her 3 years old Rich and Lucy decided to sleep together since they are in good terms. And they are not awkward now every time they need to make Juliana happy, they discovering more on each other and Rich can't deny the fact that she's already liking Lucy on her own gesture. They are happily married and they're now sharing I Love You's before going to bed or sometimes after a phone call and even love making. But still he can't deny the fact that sometime he still thinking Dawn and the happy memory they shared together. He's now in the process of moving on. 8 years of being together full of joy and happiness until she died.
