I sat in my hand cuffs watching michael talk to the cop. I don't know what they were saying but the cop came back and took off my cuffs.
"You're free to go but next time you will have to say for a week. So don't have a next time" the cop tells me.
He leads me to michael and we walk out in silence.
Once we get to his car I refuse to get in.
"What are you doing" michael grits.
"I'm not going home" I say.
"So you mean to tell me that after being arrested you're not going home. You're lucky I awnsered the phone. Now get in the car." He yells.
I give up and get in.
Once we get home we stop in the drive way.
"You were smoking weed" michael says.
I just stay quiet.
"Why the fuck were you taking drugs" he yells.
"You just don't get it do you" I laugh sarcasticly.
"How do I not 'get' it. You get wasted at some party dressed like a slut then get arrested. Tell me" he yells again.
"Oh and you'd know what a slut looks like. Since you see one all the time."
After that I get out of the car and make my way to the tree house.
"Where do you think you're going" michael yells.
Wow he is so oblivious.
Once I get to the tree house I noticed he's followed me here.
Great.
"Get out" I yell at him.
"No this is our treehouse" he yells back.
You can only be strong for so long before you crumble.
And that's what happened.
I slide down the wall bringing my knees to my chest.
It's beginning to get harder to breathe as I take quick but short breaths.
"April. What's going on" michael says.
After that I realise I'm having a panic attack. I'm trying to calm down but nothing will work.
I think he understood what was going on and sat next to me giving me a hug.
After about half an hour of sitting like that's he let go.
"Everything's gonna be alrigh" he says.
"When are you going to stop lying to me." I say truthfully.
He doesn't respond for a while.
"April please come home" he whispers.
"Why so I can live with people who hate me. Who wish I was dead just as much as I do?" I ask.
"I don't hate you april"
"Then why do you scream at me for every little thing I do why do you say those things about me." I say.
"Most of the time they're just jokes" he says.
"But it's not going to be funny when that's the last thing somebody thinks about before they die. Knowing that no body cared." I whisper.
" April I yelled because I care I just don't want you to get hurt. Please promise you'll stop drinking and doing drugs." He says.
"I don't make promises but I'll try" I sigh.
"Will you come home" he asks.
"Okay" I say.
Next day cuz I'm lazy af
I was at school when I found alex.
"Hey" I smile.
"Hey heard you got arrested" he says.
"Yeah but they let me off. Trust me I've played innocent over a thousand times." I smirk.
"Hey I've got a question. " he says.
"What is it" I smile.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He smiles hopefully.
"Hhm let me think about it." I tease.
"C'mon " he pouts.
"I guess so" I smirk.
"Yesss you're mine" he says in a goblin like voice that makes us crack up laughing.
We walk to class hand in hand with our matching leather jackets.
