It was about a month after I got stabbed. I still had questions about how I healed. No stich marks or anything.
Was it part of my powers? Or am I dead and just don't know it? I was interrupted in mid thought when Batman called us into the mission room.

I kept to the shadows, my black suit and dark hair blending in perfectly. A brown haired guy with freckles appeared to have the same powers as me.
He seemed... familiar. I've probably meet him before. Wait a second... this guy looks a lot like my dad.

A two year old me was playing with a man.
'Daddy , don't go!' I said, tugging on his pants.
'I've got to go on a business trip. I'll be back, my little demon.'
'K!' I said as I watched him leave.
I never saw him again.

I was intrigued by this man. Or...at least his powers over the dead.

I ran forward and snatched the case. Then I dove between his legs. And who says my years as a thief were useless?
'K.F, here!'
I handed it to him, and he got it back to the bio ship. He spun around to see me.
I swear I saw his face pale.
" Ashley?" He murmured. In an instant, I have a knife to his throat.
" How do you know my name!" I growled.
" Don't recognize your own father? I'm offended." He says smoothly.
I cut him just enough to have enough blood for a blood test.
" Join me. Together we can be great," he said, then disappeared.
I ran into the bio ship and put the knife in a bag.

So this guy was my father. Well, biologically. I think of Batman as a better Father than this jerk. Plus what kind of last name is Acker?
