Avril's POV
"Wake up" his voice caressed my ear
I stirred on the sheets, my body was numb, exhausted. I opened my eyes to find an expectant Caleb next to me, he smirked as he leaned to kiss me.
"Good morning sleeping beauty"
"It's morning already?" I mumbled
"No" he laughed "It's one am"
I groaned. Great, I slept for 20 minutes.
"Get up" he kneeled on the bed
He was naked, and even when we'd already mate I couldnt take my eyes out of it.
"What?" He smiled
"Nothing" I turned my face "I'll take a shower, I'm all... dirty"
I was a mess, I'd stained the sheets. I guess the bleeding part wasn't a lie. I had to wash them later.
I got off the bed and headed to the bathroom, taking a look behind me to see Caleb. He was staring at my naked behind, very sutil.
I gave him a smile, he understood and followed me to the shower with a smiled of his own.

"Where are we meeting the others?" I asked
We were in his car by now, it was like 3:30 am. He was silent, as if something was bugging him.
"Right here" he mumbled
I stared out of the window, there was a couple of people waiting for us on the side of the road.
Caleb stopped the car right in front of them, the lights of the car shinning on them. My dad and Rachel were there, also the Bennetts and Daniel, and... Ashley and Cloe?
"Hey" I said as I stepped out of the car
They smiled and nodded, but nobody spoke. There was something in their faces indicating a bad thing. Could they tell I'd already mated with Caleb? That would be awkward.
"What's wong?" I asked
"It's time" dad said "The groups are waiting for us to lead them"
"Oh" I mumbled "Which group I'm in? It'll be yours or Caleb's right?"
Dad sighed. Rachel put a hand over his arm, trying to comfort him.
"What's wrong?" I repeated
"You'll stay with Amy" Caleb said
"What?." I protested "It'll be better if we stay together, that way we can protect eachother"
"No, you'll be better if you stay safe"
"So you're ditching me?" I raised my voice "With Amy?"
"If you see it that way" He replied "Yes. I am. But try to see my point of view, I can't lose you"
"They're coming after me, remember?" I was getting mad "I'm supposed to hide while everyone risks their lives?"
"Great" he sighed in frustration"It's late. Amy?"
She walked up to me with an apologetically smiled. She raised her arm to touch mine, but I flinched when I saw a spark coming out of it.
I hissed at her, making her retreat.
"What are you doing?" I demanded
"Nothing" she took a step back
"Avril we have to go" Caleb said "You'll be in my group, okay?"
"Okay" I agreed
I glare at Amy. She sighed in annoyance and walked toward Daniel; he wrapped an arm around her shoulders, tryin to comfort her. Surprisingly, she rested her head against his chest and wrapped her arm around his waist.
"Chris, it's time" Rachel said "We have to go"
Dad nodded and gave her a smile, one of those kind of smiles. Did everyone decided to hook up in my absence or something? If so, I was glad. It was about time.
"Let's go" Caleb pulled my hand
I followed him to the woods, while everyone took a different path. Everyone except Ashley and Cloe, they were in Caleb's group.
Caleb bent forward and kissed me passionately, and I absorbed the kiss with all the strength I had. Too soon, he pulled away.
The three wolves shifted and sprinted forward, I followed them through the forest to our final battle.
There was a group of wolves waiting for us, including Caleb's parents and Cory, Ashley's mate.
As we got closer I notice the large group of vampires awaiting, they're were my dad's friends.
With guns, and some kind of daggers tied up to their legs and hips, they took a look at me. They were exterminators, this kind of stuff was normal for them.
"Be ready" one of the vampires said
As he said that, everyone turned around. They were supposed to be coming, they had to come.
I listened carefully, trying to detect their approach; a few minutes passed before I was able to hear footsteps. It was frantic, rushed.
Every one took a fight position;the wolves growled as the hair on their backs rose, I, like the other vampires crouched a little, hissing quietly and allowing our fangs to exploded from our mouths.
They appeared out of thin air, bursting from the foliage of the trees.
I don't know who jumped into action first, but by the time I crashed against one of them, there were a couple fighting already.
I went for the easiest kill;the throat.
I pierced his skin, tearing it aside and allowing squirts of blood to scape from he's wound.
Around me everyone was fighting, and I was glad to see that we outnumbered them.
I saw Caleb tearing heads apart, Ashley doing the same. There was two of us for each one of them
Suddenly, I was caught in someone's arms. I struggled out of his reach, and sunk my fangs in his neck. Blood spilling over my face.
They wouldn't hurt me. They always did the same;held me, pushed me, but never hit me. It was helpful, but still that meant that my pheromone wasn't gone. Even if we survived this, it would repeat again and again.
Everything passed in a blur, once second we were fighting and at the other we were chasing them. They ran as fast as they could and even jumped into the trees, too bad for them that our vampires were experts in that. They were easily caught by the exterminators, in a few minutes there was none of them alive.
That was it? All my fears, and all thag crap for this?
A body crashed into mine, warm arms locking me in an embrace. I didn't even have time to smile, his lips crushed against mines.
I forgot the fact that we weren't alone, or that I was all bloody, or that he was naked.
This was my happy ending.
This was the end.
Cloe's POV
"Are you sure she won't wake up?" I asked
"She'll be fine" Amy replied
I twisted in the seat of the car again, taking a look of the back seat.
Ashley was as tense as I was, she was also taking short glances to her right.
Avril was staring out of the window, her eyes were glazy, as if she were trapped somewhere.
It freaked me out, when Amy touched her Avril just froze; she'd been like this for ten minutes now.
"Can she hear us?" I asked
"No" Amy tightened her hold in the steering wheel "She is in a dream, an illusion her own subconscious created for her"
I allowed myself to check on her once more. It wasn't right, what Caleb was doing was wrong.
My famiy was at risk to die, my cousin was in other dimension, and what was i doing? Nothing.
I had the feeling that something bad was about to happen.

So, we're getting closer to the end, and I'm not sure how many chapters are left, it depends on what I decided to write. I won't extend it for too long thou.
