Nandini's p.o.v
I woke up by the constant ringing of my alarm and my head felt like it was hit by a billion electric guitars , I wiggled a but to see that I was wrapped in manik's arms ,back then when I used to hear the term "cuddling all night long" i would chuckle thinking how could that be possible , I mean you just can't hold someone all night , but no Mr Manik Malhotra has been proving me wrong for quite a while now
I chuckled at my thoughts and freed myself from his hold and sat up , ughh I was still covered in colour and my head hurts like hell , what the hell even happened yesterday ? , I got out of the bed holding my head as I came out to see that my house was a mess but the only thing weird was that there were people scattered all around instead of things
Mukti was on the couch with her right leg swinging down , cabir was on the floor and navya was over him.....well almost and dhruv an aliya were in manik's room , I headed towards the washroom and got a shower, the stupid red colour was still not off my neck , courtesy Manik Malhotra !
I made myself some black coffee when cabir walked in to the kitchen
"Welcome Mr trouble maker !" I growled as I threw a spatula at him
"Oye hitler spare me at this time at least , I know when you're boyfriend wakes up he's definitely going to change my name from 'Cabir Dhawan' to 'late.Cabir Dhawan' " he replied and I chuckled just when the door bell rang
"Oh you deserve it , and I swear I'm not gonna stop him when punches you right in that pretty face of yours !" I said while laughing
"I'll get it !" I said to cabir and walked towards the door and opened it to be surprised , ok shocked ,well shocked would be an understatement
"Good morning nandini !"
"Sir !"
" I thought we talked about the whole sir thing !" Raj spoke
"Uhm yeah sorry uncle , I was just......" i stammered
"Stunned to see me here ?" He completed
"Uhm yeah very.." i sighed
"Well you guys got drunk yesterday, someone told me so I just came to make sure you guys were fine" he explained
"Oh yeah we're all fine, just in a pretty weird sleeping situation , they're all inside" i replied
"Yeah I have seen them drunk before " he chuckled
"Uhmm nandini..."
"Yes uncle ?"
"Beta I know I have never came here before but are you actually not gonna let me in ?" He chuckled and I realised that I never let him in , I quickly moved away from the door and let him in
"Great job miss murthy , sasur ji pehli baar ghar aye aur aapne unhe 15 minute tak andar ghusne hee nahi diya !" My heart chuckled
"Oye tum kahan se aa gaye itne din ke baad !" I exclaimed
"Bas zara mon wrath rakha tha , tum dono ke proposal ki khushi main " my heart mocked
"Huh lame humour !" Brain replied
"Oh aap bhi hain !" I said
"Han main bhi mon wrath pe tha , tum dono ke proposal ke dukh main !" Head replied
"Not so lame now , is it ?" I asked
"Whatever !" Head said and I rolled my eyes and walked towards the living room to find uncle chuckling
"These monkeys look funny !" He exclaimed as he looked at mukti , navya and cabir who had fallen asleep again on the chair
"By the way niyonika told me you two had a nice apartment , but this is a mess !" He laughed
"Well uncle it was a nice apartment before it hax to gothrough monster attacks , which it faces usually due to the fact that your son lives here as well " i replied and we both burst out laughing
"Where is that ape ?" He asked
"The ape is in the room , sleeping " i replied while laughing
"Cool , get me water then !" He exclaimed
"Cold or mild ?" I asked
"I dont wanna drink it nandini !" He said with a wink and I understood what he was saying
And a minute later what I know is that me and uncle were tip toeing in our room close to the bed and SPLASH!! , manik malhotra was all drenched in icy cool water as he jerked and sat up on the bed realising how did he end up in a flood
"Nandini!!!!" He yelled
"Nandini nahi nandini ka hone wala sasur !" Raj exclaimed and my eyes bulged out of their sockets
"Dad !" Manik screamed
"Ugh what the hell yaar dad , holi kal thi , aaj kyun bhiga rahe ho aap ?" Manik cried
"Wake up lazy bones , it almost 12 !" Raj said
"Huff my head !" Manik cried
"Manik go take a shower I'll get you black coffee " i replied and manik ruffled my hair and kissed my forehead whispering a good morning , does this guy realise his father is in front of us but no compromise on the morning kiss policy continues , as manik walks out I see Raj uncle looking at our little wall of frame we two made in our room a couple days ago
"Cute pictures !" He said as I walked next to him
"Thank you , but the family pictures are cuter aren't they ?" I replied and he hmmed
"You know this Christmas picture of me and manik , I was ..."
"Teasing him about his tall height and that he'd never get a girl ?" I chuckled and he nodded with a smile
"Tell me about these..." he said pointing towards our pictures
"Well this one was time when we became friends...., at last ! " i chuckled pointing towards our first picture together
"That one is from the new year prom" i said with a smile
"I could guess" he replied with a smile
"This one is from the time when he took me out for Mumbai Darshan !" I informed
"Thats when we went out clubbing together for the first time" she said and Raj uncle smirked
"You both make a great pair !" He said
"I know right ! I make her look good !" Manik said from behind with a wink as he walked up to me and held me close while I tried to push him so that he could take a notice that his father was there
"Oh shut up , you just got lucky ! The girl is a gem !" Raj uncle replied , I hope these two men realise I'm right here in this very room
"Don't struggle nandini , i am cool with it " Raj uncle said as he saw me trying to get out of manik's grip
"Ok i gave up , I would never understand men , you both especially !" I mocked and the duo burst out laughing
