"Like father, like son." The Boss' blood boiled and almost everything on his table was ruined and scattered everywhere. He called for his secretary. "You know what you'll do."
"Yes, Boss."
'They put their lives to waste. Tss.'
GRADUATION DAY...
"Are you ready?" Reevecus leaned on the doorframe of Blair's room in his house.
"Yeah." She just finished preparing herself for the ceremony. She has mixed feelings while looking at the vanity mirror. Blair is glad that she'll graduate soon but at the same time, sad. Her parents are not there to witness it and her best friend, Alexa.
"Let's go."
They went downstairs and saw Kyla not in good shape.
"What happened, Love? You okay?"
"Yes, I'm just a little dizzy."
"Are you sure you're fine to go with us? You can stay here and wait..."
"No. I want to go. I want to support our Blair." Kyla smiled at Blair.
"Asyl, your car is ready." Xol handed him the key and went outside.
On their way to San Lorenzo University, Kyla was in a nap while the siblings silently focused on the road. Reevecus checks on Blair from time to time through the rearview mirror.
"You okay?" He asked, and Blair just nodded. Reevecus was about to ask again when his phone rang. He put it on a loudspeaker.
"Hey uncle."
"I think I might be a little late."
"It's her special day." Reevecus reminds him and he sounds a little disappointed but he understood their uncle. He can't just leave his duty.
"I know. Is she with you?"
"Yeah. She can hear you too."
"Oh, hi Blair. Congrats."
"Thanks, uncle."
"Asyl,"
"Yes uncle?"
"Take care of your sister."
"I always will, uncle. No need to remind me."
"Gotta go. See you there."
Everything is in order. The program started minutes ago and there were lots of people who were in the school's auditorium. Blair is happy but she'll be happier if her parents were there. It will just stay as a wish that will never come true.
While the speaker is saying something on stage, Blair looked at the other side where the parents were sitting. Reevecus was there smiling at her, she forced a smile to make sure that her brother would not worry. He is the one who will put the medal on her.
It's time for giving the certificates and medals.
"Ms. Blair Gabrielle Ferran."
When they heard her name, she immediately went on stage with Kuya Reevecus. Ferran was on time and chose to just take pictures of them.
Reevecus proudly put the medals on Blair's neck. They were about to face the audience when a gunshot rang out to the whole area. People turned into chaos, and Reevecus suddenly fell to the ground.
"Kuya!" The bodyguards immediately went around Reevecus and Blair to protect them. "Kuya..." Her tears fell and hug her brother.
"Reevecus!" Kyla ran towards the stage. "Love!" She's crying too.
"Please... Love, p-protect yourself and my sister. I l-love you. I always do." he coughed and blood came out of his mouth.
"I... love you." Kyla kissed him on the lips. Even if it pains her to leave her husband there, she has no choice but to pull Blair to a safe place.
"No. Kuya!" Blair can't let her brother go. She holds him. "Let's take him to the hospital!"
"Blair! Let's go!" Kyla pulled her 'coz the bodyguards are falling one by one on the ground.
"No! Kuya! I won't leave you here."
"Please... Blair... Leave." Reevecus said and his breathing deepened. She hugged his brother tightly, not minding the blood staining her toga.
"I love you, Kuya! I love you... Please... Don't die. Don't leave me. Please Kuya!"
"I love you too and I'm sorry..." Reevecus closed his eyes and his heartbeat stopped.
Kyla was in pain but she pulled Blair to Reevecus' car, immediately left the school and went somewhere far away.
They were both crying. Blair hardly catches her breath again. They reached San Carlos and went to someone's house. Kyla pressed the doorbell and thankfully, her uncle was there.
"Uncle!"
"Kyla? What are you---"
"Please, uncle. Let us in, I'll explain it to you later."
Danryll De Vega opened the gate for them. When Danryll served them drinks, he sat on the sofa in front of them.
"Explain."
"Asyl got shot and..." Kyla cried. "Passed away."
"W-What?" Danryll can't believe it.
"Uncle..."
"You both need a rest. Stay here for a while." Danryll said. "I have a guest room. Feel free to stay there." Danryll said and left to take care of something important.
["SL News... The youngest businessman, Reevecus Asyl Leviste, got shot in his sister's graduation ceremony. He passed away, and everyone mourns his sudden demise. According to the famous personalities, his death will have a great impact in the business world.]
Lots of people attended his funeral. Veronica Leviste, Reevecus' mother, was blaming Blair and Kyla for his son's death. She knew that it would happen someday, that her only son will leave this world but not in that brutal way. Veronica will never forgive the people behind his death.

"Are you out of your mind?!" Ferran couldn't help but shout at Blair. She was almost hit by a bus.
"I... I don't want to live, uncle." Her expression looks so lifeless.
"F*ck! Don't you ever say that!"
"Why, uncle?! Why is everyone leaving me? Why? I want to be with them!" She cried in front of him.
"No... shh." He pulled her and gave her a warm hug. "I'm still here. I'm still here. I won't leave you. Promise. Promise... you can count on me. Please... Blair, don't waste your life. They all die to protect you. Please..."
"Is it worth it, uncle? Is it worth it to give up their lives for my sake? I... don't think so. I don't know."
"It is Blair. It is. So please... I'm begging you to value it. Value your life."
A month had passed but since her older brother died, she has not left the room and has not eaten. Someone knocked at his door. "Uncle, I don't have an appetite to eat."
"Can I talk to you?" She heard Kyla's voice in her door. She just nodded and sat on her bed. "Why are you locking yourself here?" Kyla sat on the side of her bed.
"I felt like I just died too." She hugged her legs and rested her chin on her knees.
"We're both heartbroken," Kyla caressed her hair. "But Asyl will be sad if he saw you in this state."
"I really don't know what to do, Ate. I felt empty, lifeless."
Kyla looks like having a hard time moving on too but what else can she do? Nothing. They can't turn Asyl's life back. "You know what? I have something to tell you."
Blair just looked at her and waited for her to speak.
"He's terminated."
"Wha... What?" She blinked twice.
"At any time he will die. We don't know the exact date so I spent time with him. We got married right away when I found out that he was going to disappear. I don't want to regret anything, you know? I want to cherish every single moment that he's still alive and breathing."
"But... Damn it. I pushed him away this past year and I really regret it." Blair's tears fell. "Why is it so unfair Ate Kyla?"
"Shh." Kyla hugged her. "Don't regret anything. At least in the short period, you gave him a chance to be loved by his own sister even though you're just half-siblings." She smiled at her and slightly squeezed her hands. "Be strong. You can... We can overcome this sadness and pain. "
"Thank you for being here, Ate." Blair hugged her, realizing that she's not the only one in pain.
"You're always welcome. By the way, before I leave. I want you to see this." She took something inside her bag. A pregnancy test. Blair's eyes widened.
"You're pregnant!?"
"Yes with him."
"I hope he's a boy." Blair looks at her tummy. It's not visible yet because she's just almost five weeks pregnant. "Take care of your baby and if you have time, visit me."
"I will."
They hugged and Blair went out of her room to send Kyla outside Simeon's house.
"Glad to see you outside your room." She heard her uncle's voice behind.
"She's pregnant with my brother's child."
"Yeah, I know. Wait for uhm... Nine months? You'll see Asyl again. I have a strong feeling that their child is a boy."
"I hope so."
