Ferran hid behind the bushes near the pool where a crime will happen soon.
It is such a waste if he will not do anything to save a person who sooner or later, will die. Besides, he already knew, why not change the outcome?
He isn't God who can do everything, but a chance was given to him. A chance that will make a difference from the original plot. He can't miss this chance.
"Stop acting like a kid, Bia."
"Is it true?" Bia asked and a tear fell on her cheek. She's totally drunk. "You have someone else? How about me, Vinno? What am I to you?"
"What if I have someone else? Don't act like you really love me 'coz the truth is... you're not."
"What?"
"Ria told me that you agree to marry that b*stard Eric and sooner or later you'll break up with me."
"What kind of cr*p are you talking about? Is that the reason why you're seeing someone else? Hm? Vinno?" He looked away, and couldn't look at his girlfriend's pleading eyes. "That's bullsh*t!"
"I fell out of love, okay?" Vinno said insensitively. He doesn't care if Bia was hurting from his harsh words.
"What? You what!?"
"Bia---"
"No! You're kidding---"
"I'm not!"
"Bullsh*t! Bullsh*t! F*ck you! F*ck your mistress!" She cried. "I... I... love you."
"F*ck it. Why am I talking this with you when you're drunk?" He sighed. "Sit there and I'll get something to sober you up. Don't do anything stupid."
Bia held the hem of Vinno's shirt. "Please... I'm begging. Don't leave me. Vinno..." but the guy removed his girlfriend's hand and left her alone beside the pool.
'Did I... Did I just watch a live soap opera? Geez.' Ferran stayed where he was hiding until someone approached the victim.
"Noreen." Bia looked mad at the lady.
Noreen chose to ignore her but she speaks again.
"Stealer." Noreen stopped walking away and her hand formed into a fist. "Do you think I won't know? You're my best friend yet---"
"Ha! Best friend my *ss!" She faced Bia who's sitting at the edge of a stainless lounger. "I met him first. He should be mine!"
"What the f*ck are you saying, Noreen!? You said, you just think of him as a friend so I thought it's fine if---"
"No! It will never be alright! I love him." A tear fell but Noreen wiped it right away. Bia's eyes widened, and they both sat in silence for a second.
"S-Sorry..." Bia looked at the swimming pool, realizing her best friend's feelings for her boyfriend, Vinno. "I... love him too but... but if he fell out of love because of you," She looked at her best friend for ten years. "Then I guess... It's time for me to let go of my first love. I hope... I... damn... it's so hard to let him go." Bia cried and put her palms on her face.
"Why are we falling for the same man? This is bullsh*t." Bia didn't know if she'll cry or laugh at that thought. "He... He fell out of love so why am I forcing myself to him? As if he's the only man in this world." Bia said as if she was telling it to herself but pain in her eyes was very visible.
"Noreen," She held her best friend's hands. "I hope both of you will be happy in each other's arms." She smiled bitterly.
"Bia..." Noreen felt guilty. If Noreen had just been honest with how she felt for Vinno, would this have happened to them?
"Why are you like this!? Too kind! Too soft-hearted! That's bullsh*t! Wake up!" She slapped her best friend but Bia just felt the pain and didn't do anything. "Get mad at me! I'm stealing your boyfriend! Damn it! Instead of fighting for him, why... Why are you letting him go just like that? You're making me feel so guilty."
"You're my best friend for a decade. He's been my boyfriend for two years. I don't want to ruin our friendship just because of that guy, Noreen. So please... forgive me if---" Noreen hugged her.
"Hey... No matter what I say, why do you still treat me like that? Do you know that many people out there will someday take advantage because of your damn kindness? It's... ugh! Learn to be bad *ss sometimes."
"Tsk. You know what? You're a bad influence." Bia chuckled and even Noreen laughed too. After their emotional conversation, Noreen left her with a genuine smile on her face.
'And then I watched a drama between best friends. Ferran...' Timotheus inside Simeon's body felt disgusted because his ex-best friend appeared in his mind.
He lost that thought about the past when his phone rang.
"Hey, where are you?" Sanchez asked.
"I'll tell you later."
"What about our mission? You are needed here. Everything is in chaos now."
"Later. I know you can handle it right."
"Ferran, what are you doing---" Ferran heard a water splashed.
Bia looked so drunk but she managed to stand up but then suddenly someone pushed her and she fell into a six feet swimming pool. She's struggling while someone just smirks and leaves her drowning. Ferran didn't see the face of the culprit. Just her back.
"F*ck! I'll call you later. Bye!"
Ferran didn't hesitate to jump off to the pool before it's too late.

Seeing from the glass wall of a resort's VIP room, a guy in his twenties was watching the party from the second floor of the building. He was holding a wine glass, while looking at his men distributing their products.
'Those fools.' He said in his mind.
"Asyl... Your uncle and his team are moving right now. We must leave immediately."
"What? How did my uncle—f*ck. He can't see me here." He finished his glass and wiped his lips using the back of his hand.. "Let's go." The two young men walked through the exit.
"Someone gave him a tip, and one of our distributors made a mistake."
"Mistake? Who the hell is it? He's ruining my business." Asyl loosened his tie to lessen his frustration.
"Leo—"
"Made him shut his mouth."
"Asyl, we agreed not to—"
"I can't let him ruin everything I build for years, Xol." Asyl clenched his fist. "There is no room for mistakes."
Before the two could have left, they heard someone shouting somewhere. They would have just ignored it if Asyl didn't recognize a familiar voice.
"You b*tch! Give me your phone!"
"No! Let go! This is harassment!"
"It's Blair." Asyl's forehead creased. "Make them stop, Xol. How dare they harass Blair?"
"Mina! Get her phone!" The lady ordered her friend. She's holding Blair's neck while the lady named Mina is digging into Blair's pocket but before she gets her phone, someone holds her wrist.
"Move." The young man looked at her with a blank face but his aura will send someone into a chill. Mina stepped away.
"What are you doing---Ah!" In one move, the lady, who held Blair's neck, faced the wall and her arms were placed at her back. "Hey! Let go or else I will sue you!"
Xol just whispered into her ears using his deep tone voice. "Before you do that, I'll make sure you go to jail first."
"Y-You! Go to hell!"
"Yeah. Yeah. You go first." Xol said in his bored look.
"Excuse me... Ms. Ria D'Aboville?" A policeman approached them. He looked at everyone and confusedly asked, "Is there something wrong here?"
"Yes. I am Ria D'Aboville. Let go!" Xol let her go and step aside. "Officer, did you see that? That man," He pointed to Xol using her index finger. "He's harassing me. I would like to sue this man for---"
"Miss, you're invited for our investigation." The policeman ignored the complaint when he recognized the man with Xol.
"W-What?"
"Your sister is about to die earlier so your cooperation is needed for the investigation."
"What!?" She looked at her surroundings and everyone was looking at her. "Where is she? I need to see her!"
"Please, follow me."
Ria and Mina glared at Blair before following the policeman who invited them in the crime scene.
"Liar." Blair was about to follow them but Asyl stopped her.
"Where do you think you're going?"
"That lady is the one who tried to kill her own sister. I need to---" She was cut off by Asyl. He looked at her swollen neck that made his jaw clenched. He can't bear to see Blair being harmed.
"Look! Your neck is swollen! That b*tch."
"Tss. As if you care." She rolled her eyes.
"Of course I care!" He grabbed her arm and was about to pull her but Blair being hard-headed stopped him.
"Reevecus! Let me go!"
"It's none of your business and you're just a kid for Pete's sake! Don't interfere in that kind of stuff."
"Excuse me!? I'm not a kid! Tss." She removed Asyl's hand that was holding her arm. "I hate seeing your face. Get lost." Blair left without looking at him.
"Tsk. That hard-headed kid."
"Do you want me to follow her?" Xol asked.
"No need. I'm sure, uncle will take care of her. Let's go."
