The sun came in a little through the small opening in the curtain, all night Carlos was turning his back at you. You sat down and opened Instagram, you took a photo of the room, it looked cool how the sun was hitting the room, you posted it.
You got up and brushed your teeth, you grabbed your hair in a bun and sat down on the bed again, you sighed and went downstairs to the kitchen, Reyes was there.
-Good morning, cariño.
-Good morning. -you gave her a smile. -Smells delicious.
-Thank you! I'm making omelet and coffee.
-Can I have a cup? -she noded, you grabbed a cup from the same place you remember, you poured yourself some coffee.
-What are your plans for today?
-I honestly don't know, I think Carlos is mad at me so we didn't discussed our plans for today. -you took a sip from your coffee.
-Don't worry about that, whatever it is, it will pass, Carlos can never stay angry at you for long.
-Buenos días, mamá. -you heard him enter the kitchen, he approached Reyes and gave her a kiss on the cheek, he didn't look at you.
-Carlos, good morning, I was asking Y/n if you had any plans for today. -you watched him pouring some coffee in a cup.
-Oh, I'm going golfing with dad, I don't know her plans. -you rolled your eyes.
-Carlos, no seas grosero con ella. (Carlos don't be mean to her) -she told him in Spanish.
-Joder, no estoy siendo grosero, mamá, que yo ya tengo planes, ella puede hacer lo que quiera. (Damn, I'm not being rude, mom, I already have plans, she can do whatever she wants)
-I think I'm gonna take a shower. -you forced a smile.
-You're not having breakfast? -Reyes asked.
-Oh yeah, I'll be right down.
-Carlos POV-
She left the kitchen, leaving my mom and I alone.
-What's going on?
-Nothing, ma, don't even worry about it. -She served breakfast, a few minutes later my father arrived and sat with us.
-Where's Y/n? -he asked.
-She went to take a shower.
-Is she coming with us?
-I don't think so.
-You need to talk to your son. -my mom told my dad.
-About what?
-They're fighting.
-Already? What's going on, Carlos?
-Nothing, future stuff.
-Did you propose? -my mom said shockingly.
-Ma! Of course not. -they laughed, I sighed. -It's just...I told her yestarday that what would it be like when we have our own house and live together.
-She freaked out? -my dad asked.
-Kind of, it's just...she's afraid of commitment, that's all.
-But she's with you, cariño, don't pressure her, live the moment.
-That's kind of what she said, I don't know, I guess I want to be sure she's all in.
-I'm sure she is, she wouldn't be with you if it was otherwise.
We finished breakfast, I helped my mom to pick up and I went upstairs to my room, I hesitated a little and then opened the door.
Y/n was sitting on the bed, she had already made it, her hair was wet, she was looking at her phone with her airpods on, she was wearing black shorts with a top and an overshirt. She looked up when I entered, I motioned for her to take off her airpods.
-Hi. -I said.
-Hey. -she looked at her phone again.
-Do you want to come with my dad and I? I know you love to drive the golf cart.
-I'm good.
-What are you going to do? I think my mom has things to do too, I don't want you to be alone.
-I don't mind, go spend time with your father, don't worry about me.
Sometimes it was difficult to talk to her, when she closes there is no easy way for her to open up, she is proud and stubborn.
I got into the shower, turned on the cold water, I don't like the feeling but it's worse when they make us take ice baths. I got out, put on my golf outfit. She was still on the bed.
-Are you going to stay here all day?
-Maybe, I have a call with Patrick in a few minutes and I have to check some emails.
-Oh, okay...do you want to go to dinner?
-Not really, thanks tho.
-Are you going to be angry at me forever?
-You started it, I don't know why you are complaining. -I snatched the phone from her, pulled her legs so she was lying down and got on top of her. -What are you doing, Carlos.
-I won't move until you're not mad anymore. Talk to me.
-Now you want to talk? Let's see, what was that tantrum you pulled out yesterday? I never said I didn't want a future with you, I told you I want to take things slowly, step by step, of course I want to live with you eventually, I just hate to think about the future.
-I'm sorry, I just thought it was a cute thought, I don't want to pressure things.
-Yeah, whatever.
-Are you still mad? -I kissed her neck, she giggled.
-Stop. -she pretended to be serious.
-C'mon. -I kissed the other side of her neck, I felt her hand on my back. -I know you can't resist kisses on your neck. -she grabbed my face and kissed me, it felt like we had never kissed, like time was running out and it was the last thing we would do.
She made us change positions, she was now on top of me, she was kissing me so hard, I was enjoying it and I know she was too. She started moving her hips and someone else woke up.
-You like that? -she said between kisses.
-Yeah. -I whispered, I put a hand around her neck and she leaned her head back, still moving.
Suddenly I felt her get off of me and sit next to me.
-What are you doing? Let's finish what we started. -I said sitting next to her and running a hand under her top.
-I told you I have to call Patrick and you have to go anyway so, bye bye.
-You're mean. -she kissed me.
-I love you. -she said and I smiled.
