*buzz* *buzz* *buzz*
I woke up to the sound of something buzzing. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes and looked at what was making the noise. My phone buzzed with a number I recognized as a number from Kikuoka. I picked up my phone and quietly exited my and Kazuto's room. I went into the living room and answered the phone.
Kikuoka: (l/n). Thank goodness you answered.
(y/n): Kikuoka, why the fuck are you calling me, it's 3 in the damn morning.
Kikuoka: There's a situation developing here and we need your help.
(y/n): What?
Kikuoka: Someone hacked into The Underworld.
I was silent for a second and am now fully wide awake.
(y/n): What do you mean hacked?
Kikuoka: Someone got into our system and gained access to a super account and entry into The Underworld. We can still enter into The Underworld.
(y/n): What super account did they get access to?
Kikuoka went silent for a solid minute.
(y/n): What super account did they get access to?
Kikuoka: Vecta and they also got an account for a Dark Knight.
I went dead silent after he said that. Shit. War of The Underworld is starting.
Kikuoka: There was something else too. When we looked into the system we found something a group of random letters in there, planted by them.
I quickly put my phone on speaker and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen.
(y/n): What are they?
Kikuoka: 'sohtwt iisem.
I wrote the letters down on the paper and looked over them. An idea popped into my head.
(y/n): They're not random, I think it's a word scramble.
I started solving it and thinking of every combination. After a few minutes, only one thing came to my mind. I started writing it out and once I finished it, there were no extra letters so it's this and what I came up with, I did not like.
(y/n): (muttering) Shit.
Kikuoka: What is it? What does it say?
(y/n): It's nothing good for any of us.
Kikuoka: What does it say?
(y/n): *sighs* It's Showtime.
Kikuoka: As in the line that XaXa used in the letter addressed to both you and Kirito?
(y/n): Yeah, but it was PoH who used the line back in SAO.
Kikuoka: Oh.
(y/n): Shit.
Kikuoka: I'll explain more when you get here but we need your help.
(y/n): If Laughing Coffin is involved then you have my help. How many STLs do you have?
Kikuoka: 5 total.
(y/n): So I'll bring some people with me along with Alice, Eugeo, Ronye, Tiese, and Selka.
Kikuoka: Ok. I'll wait for your call (y/n). See you soon.
(y/n): Bye.
He hangs up and I let out a sigh. I grab the paper and looked over it again. I made no mistake on the scramble.
(y/n): Shit.
Kazuto: (groggy) (y/n), what are you doing awake this early?
(y/n): Someone was calling me.
Kazuto must have seen the look I had on my face because he looked nowhere near as tired when he first said something.
Kazuto: I know that look, something's going on.
(y/n): Of course, you'd notice. Yeah, something's going on.
Kazuto: What?
(y/n): It's better if I explained it to everyone. I'll get Suguha up.
I get up and stuffed the piece of paper into my pocket. I walked over to Suguha's room and opened the door. She was sleeping peacefully and I didn't want to disturb her peace but I needed to. I gently shook her, trying to wake her up.
(y/n): Suguha, wake up.
She just mumbled something and then grabbed my arm and nuzzled her head into it. It was adorable but I had things to worry about.
(y/n): Suguha, wake up.
She just squeezed my arm tighter and I sighed a little. I gently grabbed her chin and then kissed her on the lips. It took a minute but she fully returned it. I broke the kiss and saw her grey eyes staring into me.
(y/n): Good, you're finally awake.
Sugu: If that's how I'm going to get woken up, then I'll have to sleep in more.
(y/n): I don't think so Kiritgaya.
Sugu: *yawns* What time is it?
(y/n): 3:30 AM.
Sugu: What! Why did you wake me up this-
She then noticed something.
Sugu: Something's happening, isn't it?
(y/n): Yes. Now get up and put on a change of clothes.
I walk out and Kazuto just left our room in pants and a shirt. He gave me a nod and I returned it. I walked in quickly changed and put the piece of paper into my jean pocket. I walked out and saw both of them ready and looking at me concerned.
Kazuto: So what's the plan?
(y/n): Kazuto, you'll get Asuna and Yuuki since she's spending the night. Suguha, you'll come with me and I'll drive you to Andrew's and drop you off. Then you 2 will get Alice and them and Ryoutarou. I'll get Asada, Rika, Keiko, and Sachi.
Kazuto and Sugu: Ok.
The 3 of us leave and there are quite a few swirling emotions in my head. Laughing Coffin is back and causing problems again. My grip on the steering wheel was hard enough to turn my knuckles white. Suguha must have noticed because she started holding my hand and rubbing her thumb on the top part of my hand. I calmed down a little and wasn't gripping the steering wheel as hard. I let out a sigh as I tried to think of who could be behind this. XaXa was still in prison so it couldn't be him, plus he could never hack anything. Most of the members to ever be a part of Laughing Coffin are dead because of me. The survivors, besides PoH, XaXa, and Black, went back to their normal lives so I'm drawing blanks.
Sugu: What are you thinking about so hard?
(y/n): I'll tell you later.
Sugu: Ok. What should we talk about now?
The 2 of us started talking about random things to pass the time. We arrived at Andrews and I drop her off. I start driving away so I can get the others. First was Asada's. I arrived at her place and after locking the car I walked to the door and knocked on it gently. After a minute or 2, the door opened, and out came a tired Asada.
Asada: (y/n), what are you doing here?
(y/n): I need you to get dressed, we're gathering everyone at Kazuto's.
Asada: Why, what's going on?
(y/n): I'll explain at Kazuto's.
Asada: Love, are you ok?
(y/n): I'll be fine just get into something comfortable, please.
Asada: Ok.
She closed the door and after a minute she exited in a black turtle neck and pants. She locked the door behind her and we both started making our way towards the car when 3 thugs got in front of us. I wasn't in the mood to deal with these people.
Thug 1: Stop right there.
(y/n): Look, buddy, I haven't got time to deal with you so if you would be so kind as to move out of the way and we both can walk away from this without any violence.
One of them brings out a butterfly knife and I was just beyond annoyed by this.
Thug 2: Well things aren't going to work out that way for you.
(y/n): I ain't got time for this shit.
I started to walk forward and this pissed off the thugs as the one with the knife swung at me. I ducked under his strike and the other 2 went for me. One tried to strike me but I blocked it with my arm and then clocked him with my other hand. The knife guy tried to stab me but I dodged out of the way. The guy I didn't deck ran at me and I simply elbowed him in the gut and then kneed him in the face and a loud crunch was heard. I knocked him out and gave him a broken nose. The knife guy tried to attack me from above but I blocked it with my arm. He dropped his knife but I was prepared this time as before he could thrust it forward I had my hand on his wrist, stopping him from stabbing me. I heard the other guy coming towards the both of us and I jumped back before the other guy could tackle me. The 2 idiots missed each other somehow and crashed to the ground.
The guy without the knife came at me and I waited. He went for a strike but I side-stepped his punch and grabbed the arm that was not trying to punch me and I managed to get him down on the ground. I broke his arm and wrist with a simple movement of my arm which made a loud snap. He howled in pain and I then knocked him out with a knee to the face. The last guy managed to stab me in the arm. I let out the smallest grunt of pain and managed to rip the knife out of his hands, with it still stuck in my arm.
Thug 2: What the fuck!
I rip the blade out of my arm without any show of pain at all. I started doing tricks with the knife. He started fiddling around trying to find something.
Thug 2: Damn you!
He pulls out a gun and initially aims at me before moving to aim at Asada but before he can react, I throw the knife into his shoulder, and it threw him off for a second. I rushed over and managed to move the slide back so he couldn't fire a round. I ripped the gun out of his hand and cleared the gun and removed the slide from the lower. I was beyond pissed as he tried to shoot someone I loved. I towered over him and he started genuinely getting scared.
(y/n): It's one thing to not take the deal and fight me, but you trying to kill her, my girlfriend, is crossing a line that you'll be lucky to walk away from. I told you I didn't have time for this shit!
I picked him up by his shirt and knocked him out with my other hand. His nose was broken and I was still seething with rage. Asada gently hugged me from behind and after a minute I calmed down some.
(y/n): I'm ok, I'm ok. Are you ok Asada?
Asada: Yes, thanks to you.
(y/n): We should have left a while ago so let's go.
We both got into the car and I started driving to Rika's since it was the closest. Asada was still holding my hand and keeping me calm. We pulled up in front of Rika's and I walked over and knocked on the door. After a second, a man in his 40s opened the door.
Rika's Father: Can I help you?
(y/n): Sorry for waking you so early in the morning sir but would you happen to be Rika's father?
Rika's Father: Yes I am and you didn't wake me, I have to go to work pretty soon. Why are you asking?
(y/n): We're friends of hers and we need to borrow her. Can we come in?
Rika's Father: Sure.
Both of us walk inside and he closes the door behind us.
Rika's Father: So, what are your names if you don't mind me asking?
(y/n): My name is (y/n) (l/n) and this is Asada Shino.
Asada: Hello.
Rika's Father: Well it's a pleasure to meet you both.
(y/n): You as well.
Rika: *yawning* What's with all the noise- (y/n), Asada, what are you doing here and this early?
(y/n): Something's come up so we're all meeting at Kazuto's house. Could you please get dressed because this is very important?
Rika was about to say something when she looked at me again and she must have noticed something in my eyes when she nodded to me and went upstairs. The 3 of us sat down in the kitchen waiting on Rika to finish and we talked amongst ourselves. After a minute or 2, Rika came back downstairs. She walked up to both of us and gave us hugs. We said our goodbyes and quickly left. Rika was sitting shotgun while Asada was in the back seat. Next, we went to Sachi's. The 3 of us got out and walked up to the door. I rang the doorbell and after a second, Sachi opened the door and she looked tired.
Sachi: (y/n), Asada, Rika, what are you doing here?
(y/n): Something's come up and we're meeting at Kazuto's.
Sachi: Need me to get dressed?
(y/n): Yeah.
Sachi: Give me 1 minute.
She closes the door and after a minute she came back outside and locked the door behind her.
Sachi: What's going on?
(y/n): I'll tell you at Kazuto's.
Sachi: Ok.
Sachi was sitting shotgun next to me while Asada and Rika were talking in the back. They were trying to figure out what was going on but they weren't even close. We pull up at Keiko's and get out. I walk up to the door and rang the doorbell. After a minute a woman in her late 30s answered the door.
Keiko's Mother: Do you know how early it is in the morning?
(y/n): Yes I am aware and I deeply apologize for waking you but are you Keiko's mother?
Keiko's Mother: Yes I am, how do you know her?
(y/n): We're friends of hers and we need to speak to her about something very important.
Keiko's Mother: Ok. I'm sorry for my anger earlier, I'm not a morning person.
(y/n): Neither am I.
Keiko's Mother: Are you taking her out?
(y/n): To a friend's house.
Keiko's Mother: I'll get her for you.
She closed the door behind us and after a minute Keiko walked outside and did the most adorable yawn.
Keiko: Hello- (y/n)! What are you doing here?
(y/n): Something came up so we're all meeting at Kazuto's.
Keiko: Ok.
All 5 of us hopped in the car with Keiko sitting shotgun. We drove back to Kazuto's and by the time we got there, it was 5 in the morning. All 5 of us got out and walked inside to see everyone else sitting down tired. I walked over to the kitchen as the girls sat down and I made some coffee for everyone. After a couple of minutes, I poured everyone and myself a cup of coffee. I passed them out to everyone and then went to take my jacket off. As soon as I started moving the stinging of where I got stabbed showed itself. Adrenaline must have worn off but everyone noticed as I sucked in a breath once I fully removed my jacket.
Kazuto: You ok?
(y/n): Yeah I'm fine, just got stabbed by a knife that's all.
Everyone except Asada: What!
(y/n): Look I'm fine, I just need to stitch it up myself.

I walked to the bathroom and found a needle, some string, and a bandage. Thankfully the blade was clean so an infection isn't a concern. I walked back downstairs so I could see in a better light. I sat down and set down the supplies to stitch it myself. I tied the string to the needle and after that was done I looked at my wound. It didn't go all the way through my arm so I only need to sew up one side. I get the needle into position and then pushed it through both sides of the opening. I gritted my teeth to not yell out in pain. I repeat the process 3 more times and then tie off the ends. I wrapped my arm in a bandage and looked at the others. They were looking at me concerned.
(y/n): What?
Kazuto: What happened?
(y/n): 3 idiots tried to get in my way and then fight me. You should see them.
Kazuto: As long as you're ok that's all that matters.
Ryoutarou: Now can someone explain why we're all here at 5 in the morning?
I pull out the paper that has the word scramble and let out a sigh.
(y/n): I got a call from Kikuoka. They had their system hacked by someone who got access to a super account. Vecta's super account. Along with access into The Underworld.
Eugeo: Vecta?!
(y/n): The emperor of The Dark territory.
Kazuto: Ok. Anything else?
(y/n): Kikuoka looked through their system and found a scrambled word. He told me what he found and I solved the scramble.
Kazuto: And what did it spell out?
I let out a sigh of frustration.
Asuna: I have a feeling it's nothing good isn't it?
(y/n): You'd be right. It spelled out "It's Showtime."
Everyone went silent afterward
Kazuto: Damnit! I thought we were done with Laughing Coffin-
(y/n): But they always have to rear their ugly heads once again.
Kazuto: Yeah.
Alice: So your old enemies are now back again?
(y/n): Yeah.
Sugu: So what does this mean?
(y/n): We're now in season 4 proper. War of The Underworld.
Everyone went silent soon afterward. I started running through everything that happened originally.
Asuna: So, how is this going to play out?
(y/n): *sighs* I don't know how all of this'll play out because I've changed so much. All I can confidently say is that a war is going to happen between The Human Relm and The Dark Territory. I have no clue who the villains are this time around or how different this'll be. I don't like this because before I could rely on my knowledge in the past but there are now so many variables that I have no clue how some things are going to work out.
I started messaging my timples with one hand out of stress and frustration. I felt a warmth on my hand and when I looked up, I saw Suguha looking at me as she squeezed the hand that was on the table.
Sugu: We've made it out of difficult situations because of you in the past and we'll do it again.
(y/n): Ok.
Kazuto: So what's the plan?
(y/n): Well Kikuoka asked for my help so I'm thinking that I take myself, Alice, Eugeo, Ronye, Tiese, and Selka with me. There are 5 STLs so I'm thinking of bringing 4 other people.
Kazuto: I'm in.
Asuna: Me too.
(y/n): Alright.
The others started talking amongst themselves and after a minute both Suguha and Asada looked at me.
Sugu and Asada: We're in.
(y/n): Thank you. Now I will warn you, this isn't like a VR game. When you get hit, it will hurt so we're warning you now in case you want to back out.
Asada: No, we're going with you no matter what.
(y/n): Ok, thank you.
Yuuki: I'm coming to.
(y/n): Yuuki-
Yuuki: NO! This isn't up for discussion (y/n). I'm not going to let my boyfriend, the person I love, nor my girlfriend go into a dangerous situation without me being at least close by!
(y/n): Ok but just promise me that you won't hop into The Underworld because I don't want anything that could aggravate your AIDS into coming back.
Yuuki: But-
(y/n): Promise me.
Yuuki: Ok.
(y/n): Kikuoka will explain everything else once we get there.
Everyone: Right.
I looked over at the time and it was now 6:30. I called up Kikuoka and we talked for a minute. He said that a helicopter with Rinko would be at the warehouse where he took Kazuto in an hour and 30 minutes. I thanked him and hung up.
(y/n): Helicopter will be here in an hour and a half.
Kazuto: So we just rest a little, watch tv to calm our nerves and maybe, for those of us who are going, pack a little.
Asada: Crap, I didn't pack anything.
(y/n): Sorry I rushed you. You can borrow some of mine if you need to.
Sugu: Me too.
Asada: Thanks you 2.
I walked up to Kazuto's room and pulled out a large duffle bag. Kazuto walked in behind me and was about to pull out a bag of his own but I stopped him.
(y/n): Believe me, this is big enough.
Kazuto: Alright.
Both of us started packing and bringing extras of everything just in case.
Kazuto: You're tense.
(y/n): Yeah. Damnit, why does it always have to be Laughing Coffin?
Kazuto: I guess that's just our luck.
(y/n): I guess.
I let out a massive sigh.
Kazuto: Do you have any idea who it could be?
(y/n): No. I wiped out most of the members of Laughing Coffin in SAO, XaXa is in prison, and I slit Black's throat and shot PoH in the head. Unless you can survive a slit throat or a bullet to the head then they're dead, I made sure of it.
Kazuto: And other members?
(y/n): They've gone back to their normal lives, that's what Kikuoka said.
Kazuto: So you have no clue who it is, none at all?
(y/n): No, none at all.
Kazuto: Ok.
We finished packing and both of us walked downstairs to see everyone watching TV together. The both of us sat down with our respective partners. Yuuki was cuddling me and Asuna at the same time with her head resting on my shoulder, she must have sensed that I needed her comfort. My other girlfriends were cuddling me as well while Asuna was cuddling with Kazuto as well as Yuuki. Eugeo was cuddling with Tiese and Selka. The others were dotted around the couch as well as we all tried to relax but the air was still thick with tension.

It was 7:15 when I heard a door open. I snapped my head over to where the noise came from and saw both of Kazuto's and Suguha's parents.
KF: What's going on here?
KM: Are these all friends of yours?
I got up and walked over to both of them.
(y/n): Yes these are friends of ours.
KF: So why are they-
He then looked over me and when he saw my eyes I think he quickly understood why everyone was here.
KF: What's happening (l/n)?
(y/n): Season 4, War of The Underworld is starting now.
KF: I see. Do whatever you need to (y/n), Kazuto, Suguha. (y/n), I want to remember what you promised me.
(y/n): Of course sir. I'll protect those 2 with my life if I needed to.
KF: I would also like to see you come back to, so, try not to get yourself killed.
(y/n): Of course sir.
Kazuto: Yeah you better come back, otherwise you'll have 7 people who are going to be very angry at you.
(y/n): Quiet Kazuto.
KF: What does he mean by that (y/n)?
I quickly went silent, I'll get you back for that.
(y/n): Just a sec.
I quickly walked over to my girlfriends and we quietly started talking to each other. After a minute we decided to tell them and when I came back to both of them, Suguha was right alongside me.
(y/n): How do I put this? I'm currently dating someone or well someone's.
KF: Who?
(y/n): *pointing out each one* Keiko, Rika, Asada, Yuuki, Sachi, Alice, and Suguha
KF: And how long have you been together?
(y/n): A little over 2 weeks.
KF: And Suguha.
Suguha: Yes?
KF: Does he make you happy?
Suguha: Every day.
KF: I see.
KM: I figured you 2 were dating but I didn't think you'd have 7 total girlfriends (y/n).
(y/n): I didn't either. It's still unbelievable at times.
KF: (y/n). You have done so much for this family that isn't even yours and I can never thank you enough for that. I had a sneaking suspicion that you 2 liked each other. I'm happy not only for you both but for all 8 of you.
(y/n): Thank you, sir.
KM: Congratulations to the 8 of you.
(y/n): Thank you. Now Kazuto.
Kazuto: No.
(y/n): Never give me an opportunity because I'll use it Zuzu. Don't forget about your girlfriend too.
KF: Interesting. I'm guessing it's Mrs. Asuna I'm assuming.
Kazuto: Yeah.
KM: How long?
(y/n): *devilish smile* 2 years and 2 months.
KM: So it started during SAO.
(y/n): Yep.
KM: Ahh! Both of my kids are dating someone, this is so exciting!
Sugu: *giggles* Thanks, Mom.
KF: So, when are you going?
(y/n): We plan to leave at 7:30, me, Kazuto, Asuna, Suguha, Asada, Yuuki, Alice, Eugeo, Ronye, Tiese, and Selka, so we can hop on a helicopter at 8 and fly to The Ocean Turtle and help sort out whatever's going on.
KF: I understand. But why do this? What's causing you to involve yourselves in this whole situation?
(y/n): The fact that it's Alice, Eugeo, Ronye, Tiese, and Selka's home that's being threatened. Plus Laughing Coffin is rearing their ugly heads again because they're involved in this.
KM: The same murder guild that you hunted down in SAO as The Assassin?
(y/n): Yes.
KF: Ok. Do whatever you need to because I know how important it is to you and your friends.
(y/n): Thank you, sir.
I looked at the time and it was nearly 7:30.
(y/n): Andrew, can you take Alice, Eugeo, Ronye, Tiese, and Selka with you in your car?
Andrew: Yeah, sure.
(y/n): I'll take Kazuto, Asuna, Suguha, Asada, and Yuuki with me.
Ryoutarou: I'll come with you to take the car back here.
(y/n): Alright.
The 13 of us get ready to leave. I walked over to Rika, Keiko, and Sachi.
Rika: Be careful (y/n).
(y/n): I'll try.
Keiko: We mean it (y/n), don't do anything reckless.
(y/n): I'll try but I can't promise anything.
Sachi: We know.
I give the 3 of them quick kisses when Rika and Keiko pulled me off to the side.
(y/n): What is it?
Keiko: Well we wanted to tell you something before you go. Umm.
Rika: Me and Keiko are together.
(y/n): So you 2 are dating?
Rika: Yeah.
(y/n): Well congratulations to you both.
Rika: Thanks (y/n), but we both still love you.
(y/n): I know. But I'm still happy for you both.
Rika kissed Keiko's cheek and Keiko went beet red. I kissed the top of both of their heads. I walked away and picked up the duffle bag of my and Kazuto's clothes. I walked outside and put the bag in the trunk. I closed it and walked to the driver's side. I hopped in and Yuuki rode shotgun. I started driving and we all sang along to some songs along the way.

All 13 of us got out and I went to the back to grab my and Suguha's bags. The helicopter landed and I ushered the people going inside. Once everyone else was inside I gave Andrew and Ryoutarou a quick nod. I hopped in and closed the door behind me.

Nakanishi: (y/n), it's good to see you again.
(y/n): Good to see you again as well Nakanishi. It's been 6 months.
Nakanishi: It has. And Asuna, a pleasure as well.
Asuna: Hey Nakanishi.
Nakanishi: And Kazuto.
Kazuto: Nakanishi.
Nakanishi: And there are the other stars.
Eugeo: Nakanishi, it's been a bit.
Nakanishi: It has. And who are your friends?
(y/n): This is Suguha, Kazuto's sister and a good friend of ours.
Sugu: It's a pleasure to meet you.
Nakanishi: You as well.
(y/n): And this is Asada.
Asada: Hello.
Nakanishi: Hello there Asada.
(y/n): And this is Yuuki.
Yuuki: Hey there.
Nakanishi: Hey Yuuki. Well, Kikuoka is inside so let's go.
The 11 of us along with Rinko walked inside and down the stairs. Once we arrive, we were in the control room with a good view of The Underworld. Kikuoka was sitting in a chair next to Higa. As soon as he turned around and saw us, he got up and walked over to us.
Kikuoka: (y/n), I'm glad you came to help.
(y/n): Of course. It's their home, *pointing to Alice and them* Plus if Laughing Coffin is involved then it becomes a matter of importance to me.
Kikuoka: Of course.
(y/n): So what's the situation?
Kikuoka: We were alerted that our system was hacked and found the super account missing.
(y/n): Ok. What's going on in there?
Kikuoka: Well we were working on the gates like you asked and had time slowed down so not much time has passed since you were last in there but then the time sped back up again and we can't slow it down. I found the scrambled word on our system.
(y/n): Show me.
Kikuoka and I walked over to where he was sitting before as Higa pulled it up for me.
Kikuoka: Here's where we found it.
I sat down in the chair and looked over it. I've been pretty good at coding and by extension hacking a little so I can handle myself. I looked and saw that it was in an area that was similar to files. I changed the name of it to It's Showtime and it unlocked.
Kikuoka: How did you do that?
(y/n): They embedded the password into the name of the file and solving the word scramble unlocks it.
Kikuoka: Oh.
I opened the file and there was a video. I clicked play and put it on the main screen. A voice cleared its throat but it was heavily distorted.
???: If you're hearing this then you have solved the puzzle in which I should congratulate you on that, unless, you didn't and had someone else do it. If it's someone else, hello Assassin.
I scowled at the screen.
???: If you are there Assassin then I have a message for you. My name is Reaper and this message is from an old friend.
My eyes widened at that name.
Reaper: "This isn't over yet. You don't have what it takes anymore and you'll realize that sooner or later. It's Showtime."
The video ended and I was silent afterward.
(y/n): Fuck.
