Even before I entered the university, I said goodbye to mom "Mom, I'm leaving." Mom said "oh okay take care." I smiled and we hugged as we said goodbye.
After leaving the house, I was about to enter my car when I saw Kuya Ogi outside the gate of the house. I frowned and I walked closer to him. Paglapit ko sa kanya ay nakaupo siya lapag na para bang malalim ang iniisip.
Habang nakatayo lang dun ay hindi niya pa din ako nakikita. Sabi niya sa sarili niya "Bakit ba kasi may iba kana kausap?" Hindi naman nagtagal ay nagulat siya nang makita ako na nakatayo dun "Sir! Kanina ka pa diyan?"
I said "um, hindi naman." Napatayo siya at ang sabi niya "ah aalis na po kayo? Sorry nakaharang ako sa gate hehe." Sabi ko " No, it's okay, kuya pwede wag ka na mag po sakin, and didn't I say don't call me sir anymore."
Sabi niya "Ay sorry po, AY sorry pala." I asked "so...um ano nga pala ang ginagawa mo diyan?" He said "Ah, wala naman."
Tinitigan ko siya, at ang sabi ko "pwede mo naman sabihin sakin kung ano yun." Natahimik lang siya, I said "narinig ko ang sinabi mo kanina, sino yung may kausap na iba?" Tinignan niya ako at tinignan ko naman siya na para bang inaantay ang sagot niya sa tanong ko.
When he saw me waiting, he said "Kasi si Sara ang bilis naman makahanap ng ibang kausap eh, nung nagpunta tayo sa park diba niloko siya ng lalaking gusto niya? Kaya akala ko chance ko na isolo siya tapos malalaman ko nalang na may iba na siyang kausap." Napakunot ako lalo ng noo at ang sabi ko "wait, Sara?"
Natahimik siya "Do you like Sara?" He just looked at me and didn't say a word. Well, I'll just take that as a Yes.
I asked "when did you like Sara?" Napakamot siya sa ulo at napahiya, he said "Matagal-tagal na rin." I asked "so...you're upset dahil sa tingin mo wala kanang chance na kausapin siya dahil may kausap na siyang iba?"
He nodded and said "Oo eh." Napayuko siya nang sabihin niya yun, I kept quiet and also looked down. Hindi naman nagtagal ay nagsalita ako, sabi ko "Well, I think you should try to talk to her again. Hindi ka naman niya sinabihan na wag mo siyang kausapin diba?"
He nodded, I said "Then...may chance ka pa, may chance ka pang kausapin siya." He slowly smiled and didn't say anything. Napatingin ako sa oras ko at ang sabi ko "um, kailangan ko nang pumasok."
He said "Ay oo nga, baka malate ka pa, sakay kana, ako na bahala mag bukas at magsara ng gate." I said "Salamat."
I got in my car, and when I got in, Kuya Ogi opened the gate. When I started the car engine, I started it out. When I left, I said "Thanks again!" He said "Salamat din uli."
After that ay tuluyan ko na ipinatakbo ang kotse ko. While driving I remembered what Kuya Ogi said to me.
"Kasi si Sara ang bilis naman makahanap ng ibang kausap eh, nung nagpunta tayo sa park diba niloko siya ng lalaking gusto niya? Kaya akala ko chance ko na isolo siya tapos malalaman ko nalang na may iba na siyang kausap."
I can't believe that he likes Sara. He's upset because Sara is already talking to someone else, and he thinks he has no chance to talk to Sara because of that.
Kinda reminds me o Sam, Sam also talks to someone, but the only difference between Kuya Ogi and I is that he has a chance to talk to Sara even if Sara is talking to someone and I don't have a chance even if Sam is talking to someone else... because ..Sam told me that we should give some space with each other first.
I admit it, I can't stop missing talking to Sam. I'm really just comfortable when I'm with her and when I'm talking to her. I just don't know how long the 'space' we should give to each other. Should I... asked her?
When I parked I immediately entered the university, while walking someone greeted me "Goooood morningg!" I turned in that direction, when I turned I saw Gab. I said "Aga mong mang-inis ah."
He said "Hala, nag good morning lang eh." I said "I know, ang mang-inis na tinutukoy ay iyang itsura mo, nakita ko palang mukha mo, nainis mo na ako." Tinitigan niya ako ng masama at hindi na nagsalita, maya-maya pa ay si Avaline naman ang lumapit samin, "Good morning."
She greeted us, she also seemed to be in a good mood, she asked "Have you seen Sam?" I shook my head as well as Gab, Gab said "nope, asked AA, maybe he knows where she is and he's just pretending he doesn't."
I frowned and said "Bakit ako? I do NOT know where she is, and I AM NOT pretending okay?" Gab just teasingly smiling at me, "Baka ikaw ang nakakaalam kung nasaan siya at nagpapanggap lang na hindi mo alam."
Gab said "I do not know and I am not pretending either okay?" Avaline said "well, I just want to tell her something that's why I'm looking for her." Gab said "Baka nasa classroom na namin, tara, let's go there."
Avaline said "Okay." Gab looked at me and said "Ikaw? Hindi ka ba sasama? Do you also want to say something to Sam?" He teasingly smiled at me again, I said "I-I dont, kaya kayo nalang."
Gab asked "You sure?" I said "Yes, I'm sure." Gab said "okay, if you say so. see you later."
When they left, I was about to walk when suddenly someone called me, "AA!" I turned around and saw Kayla walking towards me, when she got close I asked her "Bakit?" She said "I need to tell you something."
I frowned in wonder "What is it?" Kayla said "I-I-" The bell rang so Kayla couldn't finish what she was going to say. I looked at my watch, and when I looked at my watch I said "I have to go to class, I'm going to be late."
I slowly walking away from her, she said "But you need to know this." I said "I'm really sorry, I really have to go to class, tell me later in the cafeteria when it's break time." Kayla couldn't finish what she was going to say so she said "o-okay." So I walked all the way to my classroom.
After a few hours while listening, I raised my hand, "May I use the restroom?" Pagkasabi ko nun ay pinayagan ako, When I got out of the classroom, I immediately went straight to the restroom.
When I finished and came out of the restroom I was walking in the hallway, while walking I saw Sam walking in my direction. He also saw me so she looked down, when we were close to each other we stopped and gave each other space to pass through. Unintentionally and awkwardly we both give space and directions, so we get closer to each other, instead of walking past each other.
I turned left and he turned right in her direction, so that we could face each other more. I turned right and she turned left, when we faced each other again we just looked at each other. It didn't take long, she looked away and I also looked away.
After a while, a girl suddenly approached him. The girl went behind her, Sam's eyes widened in shock, I also widened my eyes and frowned. Sam and I looked at the little girl behind her.
Nakita namain na umiiyak ang batang babae, Sam asked "Um, bakit? May problema ba?" The little girl nodded and said "Yes po." I asked "What happened? Why are you hiding?"
The little girl said "Because my classmate is teasing me." Sam knelt down to the girl and she said "sinumbong mo na ba sa teacher mo ang pang-aasr nila sayo?" The little girl shook her head and said "Mas lalo lang nila akong aasarin pag sinumbo ko sila."
Sam and I just looked at each other, the little girl said "Alam ko na!" We looked back at the little girl, she said "Pwede po ba magpanggap kayo po na ate at kuya ko?" Napkunot kami ng noo sa pagtataka, maya-maya ay naglakad nalang kami papalapit sa tatlong batang lalaki.
As we approached, the little girl said "Hey!" The three little boys faced us and when they faced a boy asked "Oh bakit?" Sam asked "Kayo ba ang umasar sa kapatid ko?"
The other boy said "kami nga, why?" Sam said "wag niyong aasarin 'tong kapatid ko, kung hindi isusumbong ko kayo sa mga magulang niyo." The other boy said "Oh no we're scared hahaha."
They laughed at Sam after he said that, I frowned and come closer to them, I said "Did you know I know someone who is a clown?" Napalunok ang lalaki, and he said "s-so?" I said "Did you know that he goes to the houses of children who teases little girls to scare and eat them?"
The other boy said "L-like P-pennywise?" I looked at him and said "Yeah,ennywise." They trembled in fear when I said that.
I said "now, if you talked like that to the people whose older than you, and if you tease a little girl like her again...I can call the clown I was talking about...to find the three of you." Their eyes widened and just swallowed.
I got away from them, and when I got away the little girl said "If you tease me again, lagot kayo kay Ate ko at sa boyfriend niya." Sam and I's eyes widened and we looked at each other because of what the little girl said. The three boys ran away, after that the girl thanked us, "Thank you po sa inyong dalawa,."
Sam said "wala yun." The little girl said "buti nalang may something kayo." I asked "something?"
She said "something, like chemistry." Sam and I kept quiet because of what the little girl said. She said "balik na po ako, bye!"
Pagkapaalam ng batang babae ay nanatili kami nakatayo dun at napatingin lang sa batang babae. Habang nakaytingin ay ang sabi ni Sam "Clown talaga?"
I looked at her and said "well, someone should at least scare them." Sam smiled and asked "Bakit hindi multo ang sinabi mo?" I said "well, no one is really scared of them nowadays."
Sam said "sa bagay, yung iba, imbis na mas matakot ay mahal parin nila yung nang-ghost sa kanila." I looked at her and frowned, she shyly smiled and said "j-joke lang hih."
Hindi naman nagtagal ay ang sabi niya "naku kailangan ko na bumalik sa klase, sige..um bye." Hindi na ako nakapagsalita nang dahil sa agad na siyang umalis. I just stayed there and looked at her until she left, I looked at her and slowly smiled.
Nang makabalik ay ay agad na ako umupo sa pwesto ko. Hindi naman nagtagal ay Break time na rin namin, when I arrived at the cafeteria, I saw Sam, Avaline, Gab and Ryan sitting in our seats. "There's AA!" they all looked at me after Gab said that when he saw me.
I walked towards them, I stopped and looked at my cellphone when someone notified my cellphone. When I looked, I immediately opened my cellphone to find out what it was.
It was located on a page, it says
"SHOCKING NEWS: KAYLA LEAL REOS AND RYANNO DEAN SALVADOR USED TO BE BOYFRIEND AND GIRLFRIEND?!"
I frowned when I saw that, "AA!" I looked up and saw Kayla who called me. I also saw Gab, and Avaline look up as well as other people in the cafeteria except Sam and Ryan when they saw and knew what I saw on a page.
Gab and Avaline frowned and looked at each other, they looked at me as if they were worried about me. Gab asked Kayla "Is this true Kayla?" Gab showed his phone to Kayla, after Kayla looked at Gab's phone she said "Oh no no no..no, A-AA..I.."
Kayla looked back at me, I walked closer at her and asked while frowning at her "Is this true?" She looked at me and said "I-I." I frowned even more, "I can explain."
I walked away and as I walked away Kayla followed me "AA!" When we got out and walked away from the cafeteria, she said to me "AA! Please wait!" I stopped and looked at her, I said "what?!"
Kayla said "I'm sorry." I asked "so it's really true? You and Ryan used to be.." I couldn't finish what I was going to say when Kayla's tears started to fall, she slowly nodded to my question and she looked down, she said "Yes."
She looked at me again and said "I..I used to be in a relationship with Ryan, he's my ex." I just looked at her and didn't say anything.
BONUS ??'s POV
After we saw Kayla and AA, and seeing Kayla chase after AA made me frown. I looked around me and noticed that they were looking at their phones and seemed to be talking about something. I looked at Gab and asked "What happened?"
Sam also asked "May problema ba? Bakit pinagtitinginan si Kayla kanina ng mga tao?" Gab looked at Sam and me, Avaline said "because someone posted it on the social media page." Sam asked "About saan?"
Gab looked at Sam and said "About kay Kayla and..." Gab looked at me and said "About kay Ryan." The wrinkles on my forehead are slowly disappearing and I seem to know what he is talking about.
I turned on and looked at my cellphone, I immediately looked at what was posted on the page. When I looked, I saw what was written there, I frowned in worry. I immediately stood up from my seat and immediately went to see Kayla and AA.
