Y/n and Spark just got out of the training room and Chaos had towels for both of them.
Chaos: I trust you had a good training session as always, My Lord.
Y/n: I have. Thanks again for the help, Uncle.
Spark: Hey, as one of the last Thunderhogs, it's my job to make sure the new Lord of the Thunderhogs is perfectly trained.
They began to wipe their sweat.
Spark: Speaking of which. You're at a marrying age for Thunderhogs, have you found someone you're interested in?
Y/n: I don't want to force anyone.
Spark: Good answer. And it's okay if you don't know yet. You've got time.
Star walked in with a tray of tea.
Star: Tea anyone?
Y/n: Yes. Thank you, Star.
Y/n took a cup and a sip.
Y/n: This is good.
Spark also had some.
Spark: I don't think my tea could even compare to this. Who made it?
Star: Me and Helen. We both decided that our leader should have something to take his mind off of things.
Y/n: Well, it's somewhat working.
Star: What do you mean?
Y/n: I just wonder how things are going back on Mobius and with my mother. You and Cosmo said that without a Planet egg, life can't be held on that planet.
Star: Don't worry. We should have at least a month and a half to fix it before things get bad. This isn't just your mission, we're all here to help you if you need it.
Chaos: She has a point, My Lord.
Y/n: Yeah, you're right. Thank you, Star. I needed to hear that.
Star: I'm gonna go check on my sister.
She left the room and Spark grinned at his nephew.
Y/n: What?
Spark: Nothing.
Back on Mobius.
Vanilla was standing in front of where the Master Emerald once stood.
Vanilla: I wonder where Cream, Y/n and the others are and how they're doing. I hope everything's okay.
Suddenly, a bright light came and a whole bunch of boxes appeared out of nowhere.
Vanilla: This looks like-
She was a cut off when a bunch of clothes landed on her.
At Vector's detective agency.
Everyone was napping as the phone rang.
Vamector: Charmy, get the phone.
Charmy sluggishly flew down, grabbed the phone and dropped it on Vactor's head.
Vector: Ah! That's not what I meant!
Charmy: You better answer before they hang up.
Vector: You little... (picks up phone) I already told you, the checks' the mail!
Vanilla: (On the other line: Vector, is that you?)
Vector: (blushing) Ah, Cream's mother. How have you been.
Vanilla: I'm calling because I need your help.
Vector: My agency is at your service, ma'am.
Vanilla: I'd like to explain the job to you in person.
Vector: Sure! We'll come over right away.
He hung up and Charmy started to laugh.
Vector: What are you laughing at?!
Charmy broke out into tears.
Vector: Hey, don't cry.
Charmy stopped crying.
Charmy: Okay.
Vector: Now, where's Espio?
Charmy: He's right there.
Charmy pointed to a corner where Espio was meditating.
Vector: Get me the Peppermill.
Charmy: Sure, boss.
Vector started drizzling pepper onto Espio which made him sneeze.
Espio: Can't you buy an alarm clock?
Later.
They were at Mystic Ruin with all the stuff.
Vanilla: All of this suddenly appeared out of nowhere. Chris and Helen's families must have sent their belongings. They're traveling in space with Cream and Y/n. I was hoping you could deliver these things to their ship. And please check on my children. I've been worried about them.
Vector: Don't worry, ma'am! We'll take care of it no problem.
Espio: Vector.
Vector: What's the matter?
Espio: We can't do this job.
Vector: How come?
Espio: If you think we're cruising the Galaxy without a ship, you're spaced out.
Vector: Where can we get a ship?
Just as he said that, a big, red ship fell from the sky.
Charmy: Looks like that problems solved.
Vanilla: I hope you boys have a safe trip.
Back on the Blue Typhoon.
Y/n: All right, Cream. Let's try this one more time.
Cream: Right.
Cream used her scarf as a blind fold.
Cream: Ready when you are.
Y/n: All right, Chaos, let her have it.
Chaos started using his whips to lash at Cream who despite getting a few small scratches, was able to dodge them all.
Y/n: Well done, Cream. You can take your scarf down.
Cream slipped down her scarf and jumped in joy.
Cream: Yay! Yay!
Chaos: Outstanding as always, Lady Cream.
Cream: I told you to just call me Cream.
Chaos: Right. Apologies.
Star went into the training room with Cheese behind her.
Star: I heard Cream shouting in celebration. What happened?
Y/n: See, this part of her training is focusing on a rabbit's enhanced sense of hearing. So, Cream will still be able to fight her opponents even if she can't see them.
Cream: I struggled at first, but I eventually got it.
Star: That's so wonderful.
Cheese: Chao, chao.
Star and Cream hugged each other warmly.
Star: Proud of you, Creamy.
They broke the hug.
Star: Oh, these training injuries. How about, after I heal them, we go stargazing?
Cream: Sure thing! Big brother?
Y/n: Go on. You've earned it.
Star: You heard him. Let's go.
Star took Cream's hand and ran to the bridge to see the stars.
Cream: Wow, they're so pretty.
Star noticed Cream's injuries.
Star: Here, let me.
Star healed Cream.
Cream: Thank you, big sister Star.
Star: One more thing.
She kissed Cream's cheek.
Star: I had to kiss it all better. Hope you don't mind.
Cream: I don't. Maybe you could give big brother a kiss sometime.
Star's face turned red at the thought of that.
Star: (blushing) Uh, would he mind?
Cream: I don't think so. He loves the kisses me and mama give him.
Star: (blushing) I don't think that's the same.
Cosmo walked over to them.
Cosmo: What's going on here?
Star: N-nothing! Just stargazing.
Cosmo: (blinks) Okay.
With Sonic and Knuckles.
They were playing a game of chess and it was Knuckles' turn.
Sonic: Why don't you move your king?
Sonic stood up.
Sonic: Well, call me when you make your move. I'm gonna go for a run.
Sonic ran all throughout the Blue Typhoon leaving Knuckles thinking on his move until it hit him. He move his knight in a position to take Sonic's king.
Knuckles: That's check- Huh? Where'd Sonic go?
He saw Sonic outside and ran to him with the board in hand.
Knuckles: Hey, Sonic! It's your move!
Sonic didn't stop running.
Knuckles: You're not giving up, are ya?
Sonic tried to stop, but slipped off the ship and began to trift off into space.
Knuckles: Sonic! That's just great! Sonic can't get back so somebody has to go after him.
Y/n was picking everything up when he saw Sonic drifting off.
Y/n: I'm not even gonna ask.
Later.
Y/n got to the bridge.
Y/n: What'd I miss?
Cream: We're being followed.
They looked at the monitor and saw Vector's house on top of the big red ship.
Cosmo: that ship will catch up to us soon.
Amy: Who are they?
Chris: We can't be sure yet.
Tails: But they're probably Metarex.
Chris: Our sensors aren't picking up any weapons on the ship.
Spark: We can't let our guard down.
Helen: He's right. They could just be really weak Metarex
Chaos: Actually they're-
Y/n: (Whispering: Chaos, wait. Let's have some fun.)
Chris: Whatever it is, that other ship is definitely trying to intercept us.
Cosmo: What if they board our ship?
Tails: We'll be ready.
On Vector's ship.
Vector: I wish we knew how to use the ship's communicator. I guess we'll just have to surprise them.
Charmy was eating a bag of chips from one of the boxes.
Charmy: Want a chip?
Espio: Stay out of those boxes.
Vector: Espio's right. We was hired to deliver that stuff, not devour it.
They got to the Blue Typhoon's boarding deck.
Vector: I'm gonna go let them know we're here.
Vector boarded the Blue Typhoon.
Vector: Which ways the bridge?
He saw a sign that pointed to a door.
Vector: Must be that way.
On the other side.
Everyone was waiting to jump anyone who'd walk through that door.
Chris: All right. Everybody, get ready.
Chris turned off the lights and as Vector stepped in, everyone beat him up.
Vector: My leg doesn't bend that way. My leg doesn't bend that way!
Later.
Vector came back to his ship with a bunch of injuries, his most noticeable one being his broken leg.
Vector: I haven't gotten this beating up since the time we staked out that Shark Tank.
Espio: Really?
Charmy: You mean, those guys attacked you?
Espio: I think it would be better if I handled this.
Espio put his hands together and turned invisible.
In the Blue Typhoon.
Amy was repainting the wall after the scuffle.
Amy: What a mess. It's lucky that Metarex didn't get past us or it could have wrecked the whole ship.
The doors she was next to opened, but she didn't see anyone until her paint brush hit Espio's head which made him see able. She screamed and the others quickly ran to her.
Tails: Amy?
Amy: Look!
They all saw Espio make a run for it.
Tails: It's an invisible Metarex!
Helen: It's getting away!
Y/n: It won't get far.
Y/n got closer to Espio and shot his hand forward.
Y/n: Lightning Long Spear!
A lightning spear like Spark's shot out of Y/n's hand and pierced through Espio's right shoulder, making him collapse.
Spark: Well, whatever kind of Metarex that was, it's not getting up anytime soon.
Star: Nice call, Y/n.
Y/n: Thank you. I think we can leave it there for a bit.
Later.
Espio was able to get back to his ship, but his shoulder was still bleeding.
Espio: I am in pain.
Vector: Looks like you're in pain, too.
Espio: I can't believe I was discovered so easily. I'm so humiliated, I wish I could disappear. Luckily, Y/n missed my vital spots.
Charmy: Maybe they'll listen to me, Vector.
Vector: You sure?
Charmy: I won't let you down.
Vector: Just be sure to protect yourself, Charmy. It's dangerous in there.
Espio: Be extra cautious of Y/n. He has an arsenal of lightning techniques he can use.
In the Blue Typhoon.
Everyone was back in the bridge except Cream, Cheese and Cosmo who came in with a snack cart.
Cream: Snack time, everybody!
Cosmo: We've got tea and cake.
Y/n: My favorite.
Chris: Wow, perfect timing. I was just starting to get hungry.
Tails: This looks delicious! What kind of cake is it?
Cream: I call it Cream's strawberry cream cake. I made it myself with the help of big brother's aunt's recipes.
Amy: I vote that we make Cream the chef the ship.
Y/n: Me too.
Helen: Me three.
Cosmo: She can make cake for every meal.
They all even Y/n laughed a little, that's when Charmy in a full battle suit and shield came in.
Charmy: Did somebody say cake?
Chris: It's a Metarex!
Tails: Let's get it.
Y/n: Please, allow me.
Y/n had Chaos incise his arm and punched Charmy straight in the stomach.
Y/n: (Whispering: Don't ever disturb my tea and Cake time again, Bee.)
And with that, he sent Charmy out of there.
Back in Vector's ship.
Charmy: It's totally unfair! We came in peace and we got torn into pieces!
Vector: Yeah! We flew across the Galaxy to help these guys. I didn't expect a party, but they didn't have to treat us like pinatas..
Espio: They are most ungrateful, especially Y/n. But I will not step quietly through the door of defeat.
Charmy: I say we had for home, pronto..
Vector: We ain't gonna give up yet, Charmy! The reputation of our agency is at stake and we're gonna do the job we was hired to do! We're gonna board their ship again and this time we'll succeed cuz I'm totally fired up!
A firey aura surrounded Vector for a second then it faded.
Vector: And while I'm getting warmed up, let's go cool off and think of a strategy. I mean, there's no rush or anything, right?
Vector got in his seat.
Vector: Come on, let's take a coffee break.
On the Blue Typhoon.
Everyone was eating their cake until Chris worked out to see Vector's ship leaving.
Tails: Huh, do you see something?
Chris: Looks like the Metarex are taking off.
Tails: They're escaping? Don't worry, I'll go stop them in the X-Tornado.
Chris: Huh? You're really gonna go after them all by yourself?
Amy: Relax. You said yourself that ship it doesn't have any weapons on it.
Tails: That's right!
Y/n: Plus, the Metarex on that ship aren't really that strong.
Chris: I guess they can't be if they're retreating.
Tails left in the X-Tornado and when he got close to the ship he and everyone who was watching the monitor finally noticed the Raggedy house.
Y/n: Guys, it's Vector and his detective agency.
Helen: When did you figure this out? Was it when we saw their house?
Y/n: Actually, I knew the entire time.
Chaos: As did I.
Amy: And the reason you didn't say anything before was because...
Y/n: I wanted to see if you would figure it out yourselves.
Star: I guess that's a pretty good reason.
Spark: But it doesn't justify all the damage you did to them.
Y/n: Well, I'm still mad about that time they tried to kidnap Cream.
Star: They did what?
Chris: Enough. We need to get them in here and explain it was all a big misunderstanding.
Tails: We can use the mechanical claw.
Chris: I've been wanting to use that. Hold on, everybody! We're gonna pull a quick 180.
Chris turned the Blue Typhoon around and they caught up to Vector's ship and caught it in the claws.
Chris: I've completed the capture, Tails. I'm bringing the ship in.
Later.
They all met Vector and his group in the cockpit.
Chris: We're sorry, guys.
Everyone else: Sorry.
Vector: Well, at least it's all settled now.
Charmy: We forgive you.
Espio: It was just a big misunderstanding. Though, I am sure that Y/n did what he did I purpose. I say we let bygones be bygones.
Vector: Why don't you help us unload the stuff Chris and Helen's families sent for them.
Everyone started unloading the boxes in Vector's ship.
Y/n: This sure is a lot.
Chris: Yeah. They sure went through a lot of trouble.
Y/n brought the last of Helen's boxes to her room.
Y/n: What kind of stuff do you think is in here?
Helen open the box and pulled out a teddy bear.
Y/n: How long have you had that?
Helen: Chris got it for me on our first Valentines as a couple.
Y/n: Of course he'd do something like that just to win you over.
Helen: Are you upset?
Y/n: Of course not. It's just that I know how boys think.
Helen: It's not like he does anything you wouldn't do with Star.
Y/n: (blushing) What does that mean?
Helen: Oh, nothing.
She gave a playful smirk.
Y/n: Geez. Don't tease me, Helen.
Later.
Vector and his little crew were about to leave when they were stopped by Amy and Cream.
Amy: Hey! You guys, don't leave yet. Come have some tea.
Cream: We've got cake, too.
Charmy: All right, cake!
Espio: What Charmy means to say is we must be leaving.
Vector: Hang on, Espio. These folks are offering us their hospitality. We don't want to be rude, do we?
Espio saw Vector drooling at the mouth and they did in fact have that tea and cake with Cream, Cosmo and Star serving them.
Cream: Vector, would you like thirds?
Vector: You bet!
Cosmo poured more tea in Vector's cup as Y/n walked in.
Y/n: What are these three still doing here?
Cream: We wanted them to stay for cake and tea.
Y/n: Okay, but that better be the only thing they're taking.
Espio: We promise. After this tea and cake, we'll leave.
Star put a hand on Y/n's shoulder.
Star: It's okay. Calm down.
Y/n did calm down.
Vector: By the way, Cream.
Cream: Yes, Vector?
Vector: Creamy, I hope you'll forgive me if I sound just like a nosy old croc. But are you sure you should be playing around in space?
Cream: I'm not playing around, I'm helping save the universe!
Cosmo: I don't think you realize what's at stake here, Vector. We're on a mission to stop the Metarex. It's serious business.
Star: Real serious business.
Vector: Maybe it is but I think Cream's mother wants Cream to come home.
Cream: My mother doesn't want that, she trusts me, because she knows I'm here to help my friends. Come on, everyone.
They all left.
Cream: Can you believe them?
Star: Yeah, no wonder you don't like them, Y/n.
Y/n: Actually, as annoying as they are, I sort of agree with them this time.
Cream: What?!
Y/n: If you were to go back home to mother, you'd be safe and the Metarex are dangerous foes. But on the other hand, that's why we need all the help we can get.
Cream: So, do you trust me then?
Y/n: I do. That is why I made you my apprentice. Listen, Cream... (kneels down to her level) you are my younger sister, but you are stronger than I was at your age. There is absolutely nobody I'd rather have as a third in command than you.
Cream smiled.
Cream: Thank you, big brother.
She kissed his cheek which made him turn away blushing.
Y/n: (blushing) Y-You know I'm not use to your sneak attacks.
Back with Vector and his little crew.
Espio: Why did you say that, Vector? Cream's mother didn't tell us to bring the girl home, she told us to check on her and Y/n.
Vector: Yeah, that's what she told us, she was trying to be strong. She was really thinking, "I'm so worried about my little babies, you've got to save them, Vector. Cream's too young to be out there all alone."
Espio: Hold on. Their mother never said that.
Vector: She thought it and I'm a detective, so I detected it.
Charmy: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another episode of delusional thinking with Vector.
Vector: We're taking Cream with us!
Espio: But Vector-
Vector: No "buts" about it! I made a solemn promise to Cream's mama and I ain't going back on my word!
Espio: You never made any promise.
Vector: I made a promise, you just didn't hear it. Cuz I made it from the bottom of my heart!
Espio: (Thinking: This is hopeless. I can't argue with someone who refuses to make sense.)
Vector got out a bag.
Vector: I'm tossing Cream into this bag and then we're gone.
Espio: I don't think Y/n's gonna be happy about that.
Vector: That's the thing. We're not gonna tell Y/n.
Espio: That sounds like a very dangerous idea that could very easily backfire.
Vector: Just trust me.
In the bridge.
Chris: It doesn't look like we're gonna find any Chaos Emeralds around here.
Tails: I agree. Since there aren't many planets around here the Emeralds wouldn't be drawn this way.
Amy: Why's that, Tails?
Tails: Chaos Emeralds are attracted by the gravitational fields around planets.
Y/n: If I were to compare this part of the galaxy with anything, it would be a ghost town.
Vector appeared behind Cream and Cheese who were next to Cosmo and Star and dropped the bag on them.
Vector: It's time for us to skedaddle, folks!
Chris: You sure you don't want to travel with us a little?
Amy: We can use all the help we get battling the Metarex.
Espio: We will fight with you in spirit.
Amy: That won't do us much good.
Vector: Keep up the good work. The Galaxy appreciates your heroic efforts.
Charmy: Catch you later.
Y/n noticed Vector's bag.
Y/n: Hang on. What's in the bag?
Vector: Oh, uh, these are just some leftover pieces of cake.
Y/n: Really?
Vector: Yeah. We gotta get going.
They left in their ship.
Chris: Well, that was fun.
Amy: Hey, where did Cream and Cheese go?
Tails: Cosmo was here, too, wasn't she?
Spark: Star was also here.
Chris: They were all here until Vector and his gang and showed up to say goodbye.
In Vector's ship.
He pulled Cream out of the bag.
Cream: What do you think you're doing?
Cheese: Chao, chao!
Vector: You're going back to your mama.
Cosmo and Star slipped out of the bag.
Cosmo: And we are, too?
Star: I may want to see Miss Vanilla again, but I'm on an important mission along with Cream.
Vector: How'd you two get in there?
Star: If you think I was just going to sit back and let you take Creamy, then you're dumber than you look. If that's possible.
Vector: This don't have nothing to do with you, Missy.
Vector launched at Cosmo, but she dodged out of the way.
Vector: no stowaways allowed on this ship.
He tried again, but failed.
Cosmo: You are taking us back, and taking Cream, too.
They went back at it again.
Espio: Uh, I'm Espio by the way, miss...
Star: Just call me Star. But if you want to address me with honorifics, I prefer, "Lady Star."
Charmy: But aren't you Y/n's lady?
Star: (blushing) W-What do you mean?
Charmy: You seemed to have really gotten along with him.
Star: (blushing) We do. It's j-just... Oh, just forget it!
Espio: Okay.
Back on the Blue Typhoon.
Y/n: So, that bag. I now completely realized that it was too big to just be leftover cake. So, that means... that means...
Chaos: They took Cream, Star and Cosmo.
Helen: Y/n, keep calm. We'll get them ba-
Y/n ran to storage, put on a jetpack and went out of the ship at full speed, screaming his lungs out.
Tails: Well, that was... something.
Spark: Oh, I hate it when he gets like this.
Helen: Me too.
Back on Vector's ship.
They heard the screaming outside.
Charmy: Uh, I think we've got company.
Vector: Who would came here-
Y/n broke the door down.
Vector: Of course.
Y/n: You were just gonna take cake and leave, huh?
Vector: Wait, Y/n, please. Let me explain.
Y/n: Explanations are out the window. Now, it's time for force.
Vector: I didn't want it to come to that, but it seems I have no other choice.
Vector rushed at Y/n who dodged.
Y/n: Twin Dragon Palms!
Y/n started to hit Vector with a barrage of rabbit punches that both hurt him and electrocuted him.
Y/n: Had enough?
Vector: (Thinking: I think I peed a little.)
Y/n kicked Vector to the side.
Y/n: So, Vector. Did you learn your lesson?
Espio: I learned one. Don't do want your idiot boss says.
Y/n: That is a good lesson. Maybe I miss judged you, Espio.
Vector got back up.
Vector: I'm not done yet. I promised I'd bring Cream back to your mama and I'm gonna keep that promise.
Y/n: You want another beating, it's find with me.
Cosmo: Will you please stop fighting? Don't you understand? Only one of us can decide what Cream should do.
Chaos: As much as I hate to agree with that one, I must agree.
Y/n: Cream, this is a decision you're going to have to make yourself.
Cream: I want to stay here and help because it's important to me. I'm sure Mom's worried about both of us, but I also think she trusts us to do the right thing.
Y/n: Well, you heard her. Chaos, send the Blue Typhoon this way.
Chaos: As you wish, Lord Y/n.
Vector: Before you go, be sure to drop your mother a line from time to time.
The Blue Typhoon came to them and dropped a latter down.
Cream: We will.
Y/n: I think this was the very first solemn advice you gave anyone.
Cream claimed up the latter as Charmy took a picture of her. Cosmo followed soon after.
Y/n: Shall we?
Y/n offered his hand to Star who blushed and took it as Charmy took a picture of that before Y/n used Chaos' arm to get them in their ship.
In the Blue Typhoon.
They all walked in the bridge.
Helen: Okay, Y/n. Have you calmed down now?
Y/n: Yes.
He noticed Sonic and Knuckles were back on the ship.
Sonic: What happened with you.
Y/n: Long story.
Back on Mobius.
Vanilla was getting a picture from her fax machine.
Vanilla: What could that be?
She took the picture out and saw it was the Cream picture.
Vanilla: I miss you and your brother, Cream, but I know you're both doing something important.
Vanilla got another picture.
Vanilla: Another one?
She took it and saw it was the one of Y/n and Star holding hands which brought a smile to Vanilla's face and a tear to her eye.
Vanilla: Your and my little boy is becoming a man, M/n.
