Inside the maid's kitchen those two girls who just became very close to each other were having so much fun talking and helping with the cooking.
Since the king's meals were only prepared by the man his advisor chose for him , Betty was responsible for the three princes meals with the help of other maids.
"Thank you for your help"
Betty said.
"And thank you for teaching me a lot of things"
Aylin replied.
"You are already so good Aylin"
She smiled complementing.
"I am not that good , I think that Louis did not like what I made him"
Aylin said.
"Really ! What did you make for him ?"
She asked.
"Just a vegetable's soup"
Aylin replied.
Betty laughed out loud as she asked,
"Did he eat it ?"
Aylin confusingly replied,
"Yes"
"But he hates most of the vegetables especially carrots"
The maid said.
The Petrian was very surprised and so she asked,
"So what does he like ?"
Betty smiled brightly as she replied,
"I will tell you"...
The sky was so blue that day with no clouds to be seen , no one would believe that it was raining few hours ago.
Elmer was in the stable with Silas , he looked very sad that he had to leave her behind.
"I am very sorry but I promise you that I will come back for you"
He said as he rubbed his face against hers.
Silas was sad as well as if she understood every single word he just said.
She knew he was going on his way without her.
Hawk came back from the nearest village with a new horse for the prince.
Larica was waiting for him by the entrance and so he left the horse behind eating that green grass and walked towards the girl.
"You are leaving again ?"
Larica asked.
"Yes but I will come back to you"
Hawk replied while playing with her hair as she looked down.
He then held her hand that was shaking before he touched her face to finally see her crying.
She did not know why those tears were falling down.
When Hawk saw her cry he immediately held her tightly into his chest.
"I am sorry"
He whispered multiple times the same words.
"I am sorry"
Elmer took a final look at the mere he knew his whole life before he turned his back and walked towards the white horse.
"And what should I name you ?"
He wondered.
The horse seemed very cheerful and happy , he was also in a good health and looked so beautiful.
"I think he likes you"
Hawk said as he walked towards Elmer.
The prince smiled replying,
"Let's go"
And just like that they started heading back towards the palace.
The second prince ran as fast as he could towards his opponent , Victor was ready for it as he pointed his sword towards Louis waiting for him but he did not expect him to slip in between his legs and attack him from behind.
Victor fell down immediately.
Louis was more hurt than his opponent because he used his left arm for support but for him all that mattered was winning.
"I told you he is so scary"
Ezra whispered again.
The second prince got up on the clapping and the cheerful voices , the other trainees were happy watching him make this much progress in only few weeks.
He then walked to help Victor who was very surprised by how fast that was.
He accepted that hand as he said,
"I will not lose to you again"
The prince smiled before replying,
"I do not plan on losing again as well"
It looked like Louis took another step forward towards his goals and he could not hide how happy that moment felt.
Inside his chamber those girls were waiting for his arrival.
"He must be very tired , I feel so bad for him"
One of them said.
"He is doing all of this to protect us"
Clair replied.
They all felt bad for him but they had no choice.
The second prince walked out of the shower and changed his clothes after drying his body and hair.
He stood in front of the mirror as he softly smiled in excitement.
"My first win"
He said.
Right after that he got back to his resting face and headed towards the chamber.
His mind was obviously all over the place while sitting there surrounded by those girls.
'Is Elmer alright ? Did Edmund sleep yet ? And Aylin is she in my room or the library ? I did not see The hunter around all day and Ivor has not reported a thing to me yet'
He thought then sighed.
"What are you thinking about my prince ?"
Violet asked.
"It is none of your business"
Clair interrupted.
"I am just curious"
Violet complained.
"Then don't be !"
Clair shouted.
The prince found himself giggling at the sight of those two , they were definitely acting like Edmund.
"I am just a little tired"
Louis said.
"I can give you a massage"
Violet offered As she started massaging his stiff shoulders.
Clair noticed that he felt hurt when Violet touched his left arm and so she asked,
"Could you please show me your arm my prince ?"
"It's so bad ! You should have told me"
Clair complained once she saw his injured arm.
"It does not hurt that much anymore"
Louis replied.
"I will go get you some ointment"
Clair said.
"Me too"
Violet added as she followed her outside of the room.
"The training must be very hard"
One of them said.
"It is so cruel to let our beautiful prince participate"
Another one complained.
'She did not just call me beautiful did she ?'
Louis thought but he did not really say anything to that.
While they kept talking his mind and soul were elsewhere.
He was no longer able to hear their voices or see them clearly.
'I am so sleepy all of a sudden' He thought once more before he closed his eyes and slept deeply.
Once the girls noticed how he was peacefully sleeping they all left the chamber quietly after covering him with a blanket and turning most of the candles off.
"Clair !"
Aylin shouted.
"Have you seen Louis ?"
She then asked.
She was caught off guard since she forgot to tell Violet how he does not want her to know and so she replied,
"No , maybe he is in his room..."
"What do you mean ? He was with us just a second ago"
Violet interrupted.
Clair kept glaring at her friend and it seemed like she did not understand what that meant.
"Where ? I made him his favorite dish but it is getting cold in the room"
Aylin's eyes were sparkling that Clair felt bad for lying.
"Ah right ! The prince is showering right now , he said he will go straight to his room once he is done"
Clair explained.
"Thank you ! I will see you tomorrow then"
She smiled replying.
Once Aylin walked away Clair sighed in relief.
'She was obviously lying , I hate liars'
The Petrian thought as her smile dropped...
