Narrator: Last time on "Sonic X x Male Reader," while locked up in jail, Dr. Eggman worked overtime to set a treacherous trap for Sonic, Y/n and their friends. Hordes of household appliances soon developed menacing malfunctions, turning Chris's kitchen into a combat zone. As a vacuum robot threatened to clean Sonic's clock, Emerl spun to the rescue and a whole gang of gadgets were washed out. Sonic and Y/n raced to rout the remaining robots, but them and Knuckles were ambushed my mom's of mechanical marauders. Our Heroes seemed headed for a crushing defeat till Spark zapped to the rescue and Chris's family helped to turn the tide. Taking advantage of the confusion, Eggman escaped from jail and went into hiding to plot his next monstrous move. Can the devious doctor be stopped before he strikes again? At the white house.
The President was pacing back and forth in his dark office only being lighted by the windows.
President: (Thinking: Eggman escapes. The Press will have a field day. And I don't blame them. Me nab the world's greatest Menace. And let him slip right through our fingers. How could this have happened?) We just have to do whatever it takes to find him. He's out there somewhere dreaming up another scheme to take over the world. We have to capture him before he strikes again.
Topaz showed up at the door.
Topaz: I think it's got to be your number one priority, sir.
President: Topaz!
Rouge was also there.
Rouge: He's probably hiding under a rock, with the rest of the worms.
President: Hello, Rouge.
Y/n too.
Y/n: I told you once before, Mr. President. As long as I'm on your side, Robotnik won't be a problem.
President: And Y/n!
Topaz: Do you have any idea where Eggman might be, sir?
President: No, but we have agents everywhere looking high and low for him.
Y/n: If one of these agents is Chalkboard Charlie, I wouldn't get my hopes up.
President: If you three can track down Eggman, and put him out of business, you can name your own reward.
Rouge: Really?
President: Gold, diamonds, rubies, whatever you like.
Rouge: I love them all, they're bright and beautiful like me.
Topaz: Oh, brother.
Y/n: I would prefer Chaos Emeralds. Not just to keep them out of Robotnik's grasp, but so I can access more of Chaos's power.
Chaos came out of the bracelet.
Chaos: Even though I'm decently strong in this form and even stronger when I work with Y/n, I could do more with the help of Chaos Emeralds.
President: Just find Eggman.
At Chris's school.
They got out for the day.
Chris: I wonder what Adventures Sonic or Y/n's having today.
Helen: They sure are lucky. Sonic and Y/n get to travel all around having fun and helping people.
Danny: Chris, did Sonic tell you where he was running off to today?
Chris: I asked him.
Francis: You did?
Chris: Yeah, he said he'd know where he was going when he got there.
Helen: That's kind of funny.
Chris: That's Sonic.
Helen laughed and then realized something.
Helen: Hey, what about Y/n? What's he doing?
Chris: Hard to tell. He moved back into his house with Cream and Cheese. He's also letting Vanilla and his uncle stay there.
Cream walked over to them with a backpack on.
Cream: Hi, Chris!
Chris: Hey, Cream.
Danny: Cream? What are you doing here? And why do you have a backpack?
Chris: Oh, yeah. I forgot to tell you that Y/n got her enrolled yesterday.
Cream: Uh-huh. Today was actually my first day here.
Francis: How was it?
Cream: Really good. Everyone was so nice. Oh, and I talked to Y/n for you, Chris. He agreed to come over and help you study for your upcoming science test.
Chris: That's great.
Helen: Could he help me, too? Science really isn't my strong suit.
Cream: I'm sure if you ask him, he'd be happy to help.
They all saw Emerl and Cheese up ahead.
Cream: Emerl, Cheese.
Cream ran to them and hugged them.
Cream: Where's big brother?
Emerl gave here a note.
Note: Dear Cream, I'm searching the city for Robotnik so I might not be able to pick you up. So, I sent Emerl and Cheese to take you to Chris's house. Wait there until I come by to get all three of you. Sorry I couldn't be the one to pick you up on your first day, kid. But it's just the way it has to be. Lo- Signed Y/n.
Cream giggled a bit.
Cream: (Thinking: Still can't be 100% honest with his feelings even after all this time.)
They all began walking through the park.
Chris: Cream and Cheese found this robot in my yard and now he's staying at Y/n's house too.
Helen: That's cool.
Emerl rubbed his head a bit and Francis saw Mr. Stewart looking at a big tree.
Francis: There's Mr. Stewart.
Mr. Stewart: Hmm, I wonder. This tree is huge. If the trunk is hollow, Eggman could be hiding inside.
Mr. Stewart put some kind of listening device on the tree and heard some muffled voices then Decoe and Bocoe jumped out from the branches.
Decoe: They are on our trail.
Bocoe: We must warn Dr. Eggman.
They ran off and Mr. Stewart was about to go after them but Chris stopped him.
Chris: Mr. Stewart? What's wrong, Mr. Stewart?
The others were with him.
Helen: Are you playing hide-and-seek with somebody?
Mr. Stewart quickly pulled out some binoculars.
Mr. Stewart: No, I'm bird watching.
Danny: Hey, let me see.
Danny took the binoculars and it made him see the city.
Danny: Wow, you can see everything with these.
Francis: Danny, let me try.
Danny: Huh?
Danny saw Eggman in a book store.
Danny: Hey, there's Dr. Eggman. Looks like he's buyin' a book.
Chris: Really?
Mr. Stewart: My turn.
Mr. Stewart took back his binoculars.
Mr. Stewart: It is him.
Helen: Awesome, if we hurry we can catch him.
Everyone except Mr. Stewart: Yeah!
Mr. Stewart: No, you can't. Capturing Dr. Eggman is too dangerous. That's a job for the police. I'll phone the authorities and let them know. You kids should go home immediately. Do not go after Dr. Eggman, understand? Don't even think about trying it, okay?
Cream: I think Mr. Stewart is right that we should all head home.
Chris: Then let's go.
They all left Mr. Stewart alone who looked back in the binoculars.
Mr. Stewart: I'll tail Dr. Eggman and try to figure out what his next move is.
He saw Eggman get into a taxi and then Mr. Stewart ran to his car. As soon as he did, Chris Cream and the others jumped in out of nowhere.
Mr. Stewart: Hey, what do you kids think you're doing here? I thought you were all going home.
Helen: You can drive us all home after we catch Dr. Eggman of course.
Mr. Stewart: (sigh) Great.
At the Thorndyke residence.
Sonic was laying on the roof like usual until Y/n jumped on the roof with him.
Y/n: Hey, Faker. Get up.
Sonic: Wow, pal. What's up.
Y/n: Have you seen Cream or Cheese or even Emerl. I told Emerl to give Cream a note to come here since I had to search the east and west of Station Square and couldn't pick her up from school today.
Sonic: Afraid not.
Chuck called up to Sonic.
Chuck: Hey, Sonic! Do you know if Chris had anything special to do after school today? He hasn't arrived back home yet.
Y/n: The only thing I can think of was him studying with me for his science test next week, but we were supposed to come here and study.
Chaos: It's a bit strange that Chris, Emerl, Cream and Cheese are missing all at once
Y/n: I'll go look for them. Sonic, if you want to help feel more than free.
They both ran off.
Chuck: I hope they're okay.
Back with the group.
Mr. Stewart and the others we're trailing behind Eggman's taxi.
Danny: The taxi's pulling over.
The taxi stopped in an alleyway and Eggman got out.
Chris: Where's he going?
When the taxi drove off, Eggman was nowhere in sight.
Chris: He got out, be he disappeared.
They all got out of Mr. Stewart's car to look for traces of Eggman.
Helen: There are no fire escapes in this alley and I don't see any doors.
Mr. Stewart put his listening device on the ground.
Helen: What are you doing, Mr. Stewart?
He listened for a bit and heard footsteps.
Mr. Stewart: Eggman's underground.
Chris: What?
Helen: Underground?
Danny: How'd he get there?
Mr. Stewart: Down there!
He pointed to some stairs that led to a sewer, then they drove down the stairs in Mr. Stewart's car which turned into a boat as soon as it hit the water. After a bit Danny screamed.
Helen: What's the matter, Danny?
Danny: There's a lizard in the car.
Helen: Where?
Danny: Right there.
He pointed ahead and there was a little lizard there.
Helen/Francis: Awwww.
The lizard jumped away and Danny sighed in relief.
Helen: Danny, you don't really believe that harmless little lizard was going to hurt you.
Danny: You're not scared of lizards?
Helen: Of course not. I catch them all the time.
Danny: Oh, really?
Chris: She catches snakes and bugs too.
Helen: And Y/n helps me study their biology and once even got me a book about bugs.
Danny: You must be crazy.
Helen: You're a baby.
Chris: Listen, Danny. You might want to be more careful with what you say to her. You're already on thin ice with Y/n.
Danny: What did I do?
Chris: Apparently, you looked at Helen when her skirt was blown up.
Francis: I never thought of you as the type, Danny.
Mr. Stewart: That's enough, this is no time to start an argument. Remember, we came to stop Eggman.
Chris gasped as he saw Eggman in the Egg-carrier ahead of them and Mr. Stewart began to pick up speed.
Danny: Faster, Mr. Stewart, don't let him get away.
When they got really close, Eggman caught them with a net.
Above ground.
Rouge and Topaz were at a Café enjoying vanilla ice cream.
Topaz: How's your dessert?
Rouge: Dreamy.
Sonic ran by.
Topaz: Instead of eating we should be looking for Eggman.
Rouge: I'm sure he'll turn up soon.
Y/n ran by.
Rouge: Eggman is too full of himself to stay out of the spotlight long.
Topaz: That's true.
Both Sonic and Y/n ran by this time.
Topaz: It certainly has gotten breezy. You don't suppose it's Sonic and Y/n, do you?
Rouge: I'm sure it's him. I wonder what they're up to. Sonic! Y/n!
They stopped in front of them.
Rouge: Why're you both whipping around like a tornado?
Sonic: I'm looking for Chris.
Y/n: I'm looking for Cream, Cheese and Emerl.
Topaz: How come?
Sonic: They never came home from school.
Topaz: Cream went to school?
Rouge: If you happen to run into Eggman, let us know. Oh, and it was great to finally talk to you again, my light blue boo.
She winked at Y/n and without reaction he ran away.
Chaos: You still not over the incident?
Y/n: Shut up, Chaos.
Rouge: (sigh) I think I'll have some coffee.
Topaz: Me, too.
Back in the sewers.
Eggman laughed as he put Chris and the others in a cage.
Helen: Excuse me.
Eggman: Huh?
Helen: How come you're carrying around all those books?
Eggman: I'm doing some research for my new attack plan.
Chris: What are you planning on doing?
Eggman: It's going to be big. Oh, you shouldn't be so nosy, kid. Especially when you're trapped in a sewer.
Decoe and Bocoe show up.
Decoe/Bocoe: Dr. Eggman.
Eggman: What do you two bolt heads want?
Decoe: Look, we found this inside the car.
They showed him Mr. Stewart's briefcase and dumped everything out which caused Mr. Stewart to gasp.
Bocoe: It must belong to him.
Mr. Stewart: Oh, uh...
Bocoe: Why do you have this equipment, are you a spy?
Mr. Stewart: Of course not.
Eggman: Then what are you so nervous about?
Danny: I thought spies were supposed to be cool, not wimpy.
Francis: I know, try to imagine Mr. Stewart as a spy.
Mr. Stewart started sweating under the pressure.
Eggman: Professional spies stay cool under pressure. He is shaking like a goldfish in a shark tank. Sorry to leave you, but I have to go prepare my next mind blowing attack. Toodleoo.
Eggman walked off which made Mr. Stewart sigh in relief.
Decoe: Why are you acting so relieved? Maybe he is a spy after all.
Mr. Stewart: I'm a school teacher.
Helen: It's true, he used to be our teacher till he got transferred.
Mr. Stewart: There, you see.
Decoe/Bocoe: Oh?
Chris: Hey, can you guys tell us about this new attack Dr. Eggman's planning?
Decoe: You will not get any information out of us.
Bocoe: We will never talk because Dr. Eggman never tells us anything.
Decoe: (crying) We get no respect.
Bocoe: And no time off either.
Decoe: we better go dry our tears before we rust.
They both walked away.
Mr. Stewart: Those two should get their bolts tightened.
Cream: We should try to get out while nobody's guarding us.
Mr. Stewart: Helen, may I borrow this?
He took a hair clip from Helen's hair and picked the lock with success.
Mr. Stewart: (Whispering: Come on, we have to move fast.)
They got out of there and walked through the sewer.
Chris: Wouldn't it be cool if it turned out Mr. Stewart really is a spy?
Francis: In your dreams.
They reached a gaint metal door with a big one on it.
Danny: I guess we're trapped.
Mr. Stewart: Not yet.
Mr. Stewart walked to the door and pulled out both a blue bottle and brown bottle.
Mr. Stewart: Let me show you a little chemistry experiment. When I mix the acid in the blue bottle with the chemical solution in the brown bottle the reaction is very interesting.
He put the brown bottle of acid and chemical solution down in front of the door.
Mr. Stewart: Now stay back.
He quickly moved away and the bottle exploded opening the door.
Danny: He did it!
They were back on the move until the reached another door with the number two on it. Mr. Stewart saw a control panel and hooked his laptop up to it and started to hack.
Mr. Stewart: The only way to open this electronic lock is to find the password.
After a bit of hacking.
Mr. Stewart: Got it!
Eggman's face appeared on Mr. Stewart's screen.
Mr. Stewart: Eggman?
Chris: So all you have to do is type in Eggman to open the door?
Mr. Stewart: No, Chris, that would be too easy, something's not right.
Helen: Why not?
Mr. Stewart: It's a trap. (Thinking: I can't take the chance and put the kids in danger.) We'll have to get this door open another way.
Chris: But how?
Mr. Stewart: Hmmm.
Chris: Maybe we should try knocking.
Helen: It would be easy to get out if we could only reach Sonic of Y/n.
Chris started looking around until he was Bokkun sleeping on top of the door.
Chris: Hey, look, Bokkun!
Cream: He must know how to get us out of here.
Chris: Helen, what if we...
He started whispering in her ear.
Helen: Okay. I don't know how she does it, but Ella makes the most delicious apple pies in the world!
Bokkun started to walk up.
Chris: You haven't had apple pie till you've tasted Ella's apple pie.
Bokkun: Apple pie? Can I have some?
Helen: You can only taste Ella's apple pie if you go to Chris's house.
Chris: Go tell Ella you saw me here and that I said she should give you some pie.
Bokkun: You bet I will! Oh, apple pie, here I come!
He left.
Chris: If he tells Ella we're here then she'll let Sonic and Y/n know, too.
Helen: And they'll come save us!
Chris: That's right.
Bokkun just got out of the sewer.
Bokkun: Apple pie, apple pie. Which way now?
Sonic and Y/n ran past Bokkun and made him dizzy.
Sonic: Hiya, Bokkun. Where you going?
Bokkun: I saw Chris in the sewer and he sent me to his house for some pie.
Sonic: Sewer?
Y/n: You mean the one you crawled out of?
Bokkun: Yes.
Sonic: I didn't think of looking dnderground.
Y/n: I'm right now wondering why I didn't think of it. Hey, brat, was Cream with him?
Bokkun: Don't worry, the rabbit and her pet are fine.
Sonic jumped into the sewer hole.
Sonic: Eggman's probably down here. Will you get a message to Topaz and Rouge for us, pal?
Bokkun: No!
Sonic: If you like Ella's pies, you'll love her strawberry shortcake.
Bokkun: Strawberry shortcake!? Will she make me one?
Sonic: If you deliver my message.
Y/n: Also, do me a favor and tell us what kind of robots Dr. Robotnik has down there.
Bokkun: And why would I do that?
Y/n: Well, I'm right now remembering a time when I gave Ella one of my aunt Cathy's famous Cherry Tarts.
Bokkun: Cherry tart!? Can I have it?
Y/n: If you tell me what I want to know. And I'll even give you something better than any pie, cake or tart.
Bokkun: What could be better than all that? A cold fresh glass of the finest milk?
Y/n: No.
He grabbed Bokkun by the throat and lifted him up.
Y/n: I will not snap your neck!
Sonic: Woah, take it easy!
Chaos: Y/n, if you kill him, Topaz and Rouge won't get our message.
Bokkun: I'll tell you! Just one robot called "The Egg Spider"!
Y/n let go of him.
Y/n: Good. Now, give Topaz and Rouge our message, then help yourself to a delicious apple pie, a sweet strawberry shortcake, and the most delicate of cherry tarts.
Bokkun flew off.
Back in the sewers.
Chris, Francis and Danny were beating at the door.
Mr. Stewart: It's no use. You're just wasting your energy. We have to think of something else.
???: There's no escape.
Eggman showed up in his Egg Spider.
Chris/Francis/Danny: Eggman!
Eggman: My Egg Spider will soon have you insects wrapped up in a web of misery!
Mr. Stewart: Back off!
Eggman: Let's nix this nerd.
The Egg Spider was about to strike with a claw.
Cream: You leave him alone!
Cream used Spindash and the Egg Spider's claw was able to knock her away.
Chris: Cream!
Before Cream hit the concrete, she was caught and the Egg Spider was knock over by a Spindash from Sonic as Y/n held Cream with a small forehead injury in his arms.
Y/n: Cream, are you okay? Do need a towel? Juice?
Cream: No, but I would like a Band-Aid for my head.
Y/n nodded and gave a band-aid to Helen and laid Cream down.
Y/n: Helen, apply that Band-Aid to her head. I'll take care of Robotnik.
Helen: Okay, glad you and Sonic are here.
Eggman and the Egg Spider got up.
Eggman: Blast you!
Eggman went for a strike with the Egg Spider's claw which Sonic destroyed, but then Eggman pinned Sonic to the wall with another claw.
Chris: Sonic!
Chaos incised Y/n's right arm and aimed at Eggman's face.
Chaos: We only get one water blast every ten minutes.
Y/n: I know.
Before he could shoot.
Topaz: Hang on, Sonic!
Topaz and Rouge showed up at the scene.
Rouge: Screw Kick!
Rouge used her spin kick move to destroy the claw holding Sonic so he could break free.
Sonic: Thanks.
Eggman: I've had it with that hog! Fire!
The Egg Spider fired multiple missiles at them, Sonic and Rouge avoided there's while Y/n and Chaos used Chaos Whip Barricade to block there's.
Cream: Copy Rouge, Emerl.
Emerl broke the door with his copied Screw Kick.
Cream: Emerl broke down the door.
Y/n: You did good, Emerl. Now, let me handle the rest.
Y/n used a Chaos Whip to push the Egg Spider in the sewer water.
Y/n: Tell me, what are two things that conduct electricity?
Chris: Water and metal?
Y/n: Correct. Now, the Egg Spider is wet and it's made of metal. So, if I were to add some lightning to the mix, what would that equal?
Helen: Big trouble for Eggman!
Y/n struck the sewer water with lightning which conducted it to the Egg Spider, but Eggman ejected before he got hit by the lightning and the Egg Spider exploded.
Mr. Stewart: Let's go. This way, everybody, we have to hurry!
Eggman: Sonic and Y/n, I always knew you two were sewer rats. Till next time.
He tried to make a quick get away but the Egg-carrier went haywire and flew off out of control. Luckily, everyone was able to get out in one piece.
Sonic: Everybody okay?
Chris: I think so.
Mr. Stewart: Everyone's accounted for. Thanks, Sonic and Y/n.
Y/n: Tell me, Cream. Why didn't you go to Chris's house like I asked?
Cream: I'm sorry. Are you mad?
Y/n: No. In fact, I'm proud of you. You knew what you were doing was dangerous, but your first intuition was to help your friends. But next time, do be sure to think before you act.
Cream: Okay.
Y/n patted her head.
At the Thorndyke residence.
Chris, Helen, Cream, Cheese, Emerl Sonic and Y/n came back to the Thorndyke residence.
Chris: Ella, we're home.
Helen: Thanks for helping us study so late, Y/n.
Y/n: It's not a problem. Cream, I let your mother know we'll be staying here for an hour and I'll take you home after I drop off Helen.
Cream: Okay.
Ella: Thank goodness you're back. I was so worried. Your poor friend has been waiting hours for you to come home.
They saw Bokkun going at the pie, cake and tart and Sonic broke out into laughter.
