Narrator: Last time on Sonic X. Sonic and Tails discovered another emerald, but it was soon devoured by Dr. Eggman's Chaos creature. A fierce battle followed, and the X-Tornado went down in flames. But thanks to Tails' expert piloting skills, our battered hero survived to fight on. Meanwhile, Y/n started a team called "Team Chaos to gather the pieces of the Master Emerald and it went pretty well. Unfortunately, Eggman wasn't finished making mischief as he seized Amy and her new friend Lily. For once, Sonic and Y/n arrived too late. Now their speed isn't enough. This time, Sonic we'll have to think fast if he's going to catch up with Eggman.
At Mystic Ruins, Knuckles was looking at a waterfall.
Knuckles: (Thinking: I was supposed to guard the Master Emerald, but now I only have a few pieces of it. What's the use in going on? It's over, I failed.)
When he closed his eyes, he saw Tikal in front of the summit that was on fire.
Knuckles: Standing around feeling sorry for myself won't make things right. I couldn't stop the Master Emerald from being destroyed, but I can gather what's left. And besides, I'm not in this alone.
At the Thorndyke residence.
The palm trees were starting to clear up as Tails, Sonic, Y/n, Cream and Cheese were in the X-Tornado.
Tails: Ready for takeoff, guys?
Sonic: Ready!
Cream: Let's go!
Cheese: Chao, chao!
They flew off as Chuck, Ella and Mr. Tanaka were seeing them off.
Chuck: I only hope that they'll be able to find Amy. With Eggman and those crazy robots of his, who knows what could happen to her.
Mr. Tanaka: I'm sure that Sonic won't give up until he brings her back here safe and sound.
Chuck: Yeah, I wish I could say the same about Y/n. I'll bet you he wouldn't even be doing this if Cream didn't tell him to.
Ella: Why did he need to take Cream anyway!
In the sky.
Sonic: So, why did you bring Cream again?
Cream: It was the only way Y/n would do this.
Y/n: Cream is training under me, and I think some real life experience may do her some good.
Cream: Now, why are you flying, Tails?
Tails: We gotta save Amy, and my head is fine.
Y/n: But don't you feel a little tired?
Tails: Now that you mention it, I do feel pretty sleepy.
Y/n: Yeah, that's the side effect of the healing ointment Cream applied on your head. It speeds up your body's regeneration time which takes a lot of energy.
Tails: We have to figure out where Eggman took Amy. It'll be easier with four of us looking. Amy's probably in danger and there's no time to lose.
Sonic: I guess we do have a better chance working together.
Tails: Right, we're a team.
Y/n: I'm still not sure.
Tails: I'll find a place to take a quick nap when we find Eggman.
Cream: Come on, Y/n. They're a team just like us.
Y/n thought for a moment.
Y/n: Fine.
Tails: Sonic, if you're staying on the plane, how come you're outside?
Sonic: It's more fun to ride the X-Tornado outside in the open air.
Y/n: I guess so. I'll sit outside, too. Wanna join, Cream?
Cream: No thanks.
Y/n: Suit yourself.
He got out and sat with Sonic.
Tails: Okay, you two better hold on tight.
Sonic: Yeah.
Y/n: You have our word.
The X-Tornado started to speed up.
Sonic: Hold on, Amy, we'll find you.
Y/n: I seriously don't get why you bother saving her. If she died, that would mean you have one less problem on your hands.
Sonic: Because, even though she's a little annoying, she's still my good friend.
With Chris and Big.
Chris and Big were near the ocean and Big threw out a fishing line.
Chris: Can't you go fishing later, Big? We have to find Froggy fast, before Dr. Eggman figures out he swallowed a Chaos Emerald.
Big: It may not seem like it, Chris, but I know just what I'm doing. Trust me.
Chris: Okay.
He looked up and saw the X-Tornado fly by.
Chris: The X-Tornado. I hope Tails is okay.
With Amy and Lily.
Amy and Lily were locked in a prison cell.
Eggman: Hey! Eggman! Let me out of here.
No one else was in the room and Amy sighed and dropped on her knees.
Amy: Oh, what's the use?
Lily chirped.
Amy: (sigh) I was all set to make Sonic a gourmet meal, but Eggman had to spoil it. I spent weeks practicing all the recipes Ella gave me. I could have made my way into his heart by going right through stomach. When Sonic and I start getting close, something always seems to keep us apart.
Lily chirped again.
Amy: But Sonic always does manage to come through.
She started remembering a time when Sonic saved her from a robot.
Amy: Sonic's never let me down before, and I know he won't let me down now.
Lily chirped.
Amy: Just wait and see, Lily. Sonic will find us here and come to our rescue. Sonic, if you can, please hurry.
With Knuckles.
Knuckles: I know Y/n said to call it a day, but this is my mission, not his.
Knuckles stopped in front of an ancient Ruin with a tree growing out of it. He went inside to see more pieces of the Master Emerald. When he grabbed it, he was back in that new Mystic Ruins place.
Knuckles: Where am I? Huh?
He saw the summit in the distance.
Knuckles: What's that?
He went there to see Tikal and five Chao at the bottom.
Tikal: I'm very frightened, Chaos. Help us. The invaders are coming. We must flee.
It was silent.
Tikal: Yes, I understand we may flee, but you must stay here.
She looked down sad and the Chao tried to cheer her up.
Tikal: Oh, don't worry, I promise everything is going to be fine.
Then, a light blue hedgehog walked by Knuckles.
Knuckles: (Thinking: That hedgehog looks like Y/n.)
???: Aren't these just a bunch of lovely Chao.
Tikal turned to see him.
Tikal: A Thunderhog?!
Storm: Relax. I didn't come here to cause trouble. And my name is Storm.
The Chao went to Storm and smiled.
Tikal: The Chao say you have good intentions. I'm Tikal by the way.
Storm: I came here to ask Chaos for guidance.
Tikal: That's what I was doing.
The Chao started chanting and took both Storm and Tikal by the hands and took them up the summit.
Tikal: The seven Chaos Emeralds.
Storm: They truly are beautiful.
The Chao took them to the Master Emerald which was glowing really bright.
Tikal: Now I know who brought us here, it's you. There's something important that you want to tell us.
Storm: Is it something that can stop this war?
The emerald still shined bright.
Tikal: I understand. The servers are the seven Chaos. The controller serves to unify the chaos.
Storm: And you need someone to properly guide the controller.
Tikal: Huh! It is you. You control the seven Chaos Emeralds.
Storm: And you need me to help you guide their power.
Knuckles got transported to the current Ancient Ruin.
Knuckles: I see. This is where they led them to the altar where the Master Emerald was. But why, why? Who is that echidna anyway? And what is a Thunderhog? Maybe... Are they trying to tell me something? Yes, it must have something to do with the Master Emerald. If I could only figure out what it means.
Knuckles took the pieces of the Master Emerald to the altar and they began to reform the Master Emerald with just a single piece missing.
Knuckles: It's almost restored, one piece left. I'll just have to keep looking. Huh.
The Master Emerald had an image of Eggman's ship.
Knuckles: That's Eggman's ship. Why would the Master Emerald show me this? Maybe it's a warning. Eggman must be up to something dangerous.
In that spot Chris and Big were in. A group consisting of an orange, blue, red and black robots were searching through the grass
Orange robot: Must find froggy.
Black robot: Froggy here somewhere.
Orange robot: Must bring froggy home.
Black robot: Froggy not easy to find.
Blue robot: Must keep looking.
Red robot: Find froggy, make Doctor happy.
He looked at Chris and Big who failed to notice them when the orange robot picked up a frog.
Orange robot: I found froggy.
The blue and black robots picked up a frog of their own.
Blue/Black robots: No, I found froggy.
Something bit Big's line.
Big: There he is! There he is! Look, Chris!
He pulled Froggy out of the water.
Big: I found Froggy!
Chris: Hey, that's great, Big!
The red robot took Froggy and ran.
Red robot: I found the real froggy!
Chris and Big ran after the robots.
Chris: Come back!
Big: Froggy!
Something big came out of the ocean and Chris gasped as he it was Eggman's ship. The cargo door open for the four robots.
Chris: Let's follow 'em. Hurry.
The two got into the ship while the for robots were showing each other the frogs they found.
Black robot: Mine is the real froggy.
Red robot: No, mine is.
Orange robot: No, mine is the real one.
Blue robot: The doctor will be so proud.
Decoe: The doctor is approaching.
Bocoe: So settle down, you freaky frognappers.
The robots neatly lined up as they saw Eggman walk to them and was in complete shock when he saw the first two frogs.
Eggman: What's this? You dare bring back these crummy croakers.
He looked at Black's and saw it wasn't the right one either.
Eggman: No, no, no! Yaaagh! You clanky klutz! This isn't the froggy I wanted! Do you see a tail anywhere? You're lucky I don't have you flattened into scrap metal!
Black robot: Sorry.
Eggman growled in anger.
Back with Chris and Big.
They were snooping around the ship.
Chris: It's like a maze in here, they could be anywhere.
Big: Yeah, but we can't stop now, they got Froggy!
Chris: Come on, let's go this way.
They continued to walk through the ship while Eggman was still yelling at his robots.
Eggman: All right, you nickelplated ninnies, listen here! I am not looking for your average everyday amphibian. I am seeking a very special froggy with a tail that's long and pointy.
He looked at Froggy for a bit.
Eggman: This is it. My little chaos froggy.
He picked Froggy up.
Eggman: Yes, there's my baby. I just knew you would do me proud, Gamma.
Gamma: Yes, doctor.
Eggman laughed and gave a death glare to the other three robots.
Eggman: You're useless. Get out of my sight. Bocoe, destroy them all except Gamma.
Bocoe: Yes, doctor.
Bocoe pressed a button and all the robots except Gamma disappeared.
Decoe: If you have to go, I guess that is the best way.
Bocoe: No, thanks. I want to rust away.
Eggman: Gamma, I'd like to talk to my little birdy friend. Bring her to me.
Gamma: Yes, doctor.
Gamma walked away.
With Chris and Big.
Chris: Maybe the robots hid Froggy somewhere down here, Big.
They almost bumped into Gamma, but they were luckily able to avoid it. Gamma then walked into Amy and Lily's cell and pointed his gun at them.
Gamma: Give me the little bird.
Amy: No way. I won't let you take her. You hear me?
Gamma: You must, the doctor commands it.
Amy: Well, he can't have her.
Gamma: Hand it over.
Amy: Now, you listen to me. I'm not afraid of you, and I'm not afraid of him, either.
Gamma: You are not afraid?
Amy: No way, and even if I was I still wouldn't let him hurt an innocent bird. I know you have a job to do, but I'd be extremely grateful if you could please let Lily and me out of here.
Gamma: No! Not possible. Against regulations. Must obey doctor. Must obey doctor.
Amy: But why? Just because he taught you to be mean doesn't mean you have to be.
Lily flew out between the bars.
Amy: Lily.
Lily flew in front of Gamma which made Gamma take a pause and he grabbed his head.
Gamma: Overload. Overload.
Amy: What's wrong?
Gamma: Go. Go.
Amy: Huh?
Gamma blasted the bars and destroyed them
Gamma: Go now. Leave here. No time. Must go. Now. Go now. Hurry.
Lily flew to Amy.
Amy: You're really not like all those other robots, are you? Most robots are mean, but he's not like that, is he, Lily? Thank you, we'll never forget you.
Gamma was silent as Amy smiled and ran off.
Amy: Bye.
Gamma: Bye.
With Knuckles.
He saw Eggman's ship fly over the Ravine he was in.
Knuckles: That was Eggman, I've got to stop him.
???: Yo, Knuckles.
He turned and saw the X-Tornado with Sonic and Y/n standing on it.
Sonic: Going my way?
Y/n: We should could use the extra help.
Knuckles smiled and jumped on to the X-Tornado and they flew to Eggman's ship which started to fire at the X-Tornado which Tails was able to maneuver around.
Tails: Sonic, Y/n, you okay?
Sonic: Yeah, just fine!
Y/n: Cream, Cheese and Knuckles are okay too in case you we're wondering.
Sonic: Hey, Tails, check it out!
A cannon hole showed up in the front of the ship.
Y/n: Be careful, Tails. This is what got you the last time.
Cream: And you have us on this plane now, so you have to be extra careful.
Tails: Okay. Go on and gimme your best shot. This time, I'm ready for you.
The cannon was charging up.
Tails: Time for a little transformation. Hang on real tight, you guys. This could get a little tricky.
Sonic: What?
Knuckles: What did he say?
Y/n: He said this could get tricky.
Cream: Tails, what do you mean by that?
Tails: X-Tornado, transform. Battle armor!
As the cannon was about to hit the X-Tornado, it blew out of the way and it's Jets turned into arms with fist at the end. They all gasped as they saw the ship got new cannons.
Cream: What do we do now?
Cheese: Chao, chao.
Tails: I have to wait for exactly the right moment.
Y/n: If we don't do it at the right time, this plane is going down and it'll be taking us with it.
A bunch of missiles were fired at them, but Tails was able to avoid them.
Tails: Hey, Y/n, hope you won't mind me stealing your moxie.
Y/n: Huh?
The X-Tornado's right arm shot out a shield to block some missiles and its left arm made a blade that destroyed the other bunch.
Y/n: Oh, that's what you meant.
Tails: Gotcha. How do you like me now, Eggman? Come on, tough guy. Bring it on.
Sonic: Cool it, Tails.
Y/n: You're getting way too excited. If you let your guard down, you'll lose for sure.
Tails: Okay, sorry.
The X-Tornado was coming in for a landing when robotic cheerleaders with a welcome sign cheered for them.
Y/n: What the hell is that?
Tails: Hang on. Almost there.
They made it on to the save spot on the ship to land.
Tails: We made it!
Cream: Hooray!
Sonic: Let's bring it in for a nice smooth landing, Tails.
Tails: Aah! Oh, no!
Sonic: What is it?
Tails: You'll have to settle for a nice and bumpy. We don't have any wheels.
Knuckles/Sonic: What?
Y/n: Are you freaking serious!?
Cream: How could you forget to add something so important?!
The X-Tornado crashed.
