The memories of him helpless in his bunk bed, clutching his teddy bear were mostly faint. But last night has made him paranoid, worried if nightmares can predict the future.
He covers his ears hearing a bone snap. But looked around upon hearing his brother scream.
"Finn!"
He only gets a louder scream in return. Dutch wanted to follow his screaming, but he couldn't move.
He never was one to understand how you feel sick just from an emotion.
But the horror of being unable to move made him want to vomit. The feeling of helplessness.
"FINN!"
He heard a strangled cry before everything went silent. His skin crawled at how cold it suddenly became.
Then someone burning hot hit the back of his head.
And that's how he found himself on the floor, he pushes himself back on the bed and stares at the ceiling until daylight shines through his window.
