Reporter: Dr. Eggman went head-to-head with Sonic and Y/n.
Reporter 2: And the hedgehogs hammered him big time
Reporter 3: Did he survive?
Reporter 4: Did he escape?
Reporters: Where is Dr. Eggman?
At the white house.
President: Where is Dr. Eggman? I need to know if he survived the attack on his ship.
One of the President's men and Y/n were also in the room.
Man: We're searching the area near the crash site to see if there's any sign of him.
Y/n: I don't think it will be that simple. Robotnik may be a fool and a nuisance, but he's definitely not stupid. If he is still alive, he'll definitely make sure we think he's dead.
President: If we don't track down that madman soon, he's going to strike back! Find him!
Man: Right.
The man walked out of the room and after a few minutes the President sighed and looked at Y/n who is still there.
President: You still here, Y/n?
Y/n: Yes. I just want to tell you that you don't have to worry about Robotnik as long as I'm on your side. Rather I kill him on sight or arrest him on sight, I will not stop until he's finally dealt with.
The President smiled.
President: I knew there was a reason I hoped you'd be the one that joined us. You're free to go home and there will be surprises for you and your friends there.
Y/n: What kind?
President: You'll just have to wait and find out.
Y/n: Okay, sir.
He ran out of there leaving the President alone.
President: We really misjudged him.
Inside the Thorndyke residence.
Y/n: I'm telling you, guys. The President's really stressing out about this whole Robotnik thing.
Cream: I think you should quit stressing over work and just eat peacefully with all of us.
Y/n: You're right, Cream.
Ella: Are you ready for dessert?
Amy/Cream: Yeah.
Cheese: Chao!
Y/n: Yes please.
Chuck walked in with Mr. Tanaka who was holding a tray of something.
Chuck: I'm glad you're here. I have good news.
Tails: What kind of news, Chuck?
Chuck: I'm going to hand out some official documents issued by the government that you'll have to hang on to.
Tails: Documents?
Chuck: Yes, to verify your identity.
He gave them all passports and ID cards.
Amy: But what for?
Chuck: They'll help you prove who you are when you travel around. And for Tails, we have a special licenses that allow him to fly any kind of aircraft he can build to any destination on the planet.
Tails: All these just to fly?
Chris: He never needed them before.
Chuck: Well, that's the price Tails and the others will have to pay for being made residents of this place. From now on, they're going to have to follow the same rules and regulations as the rest of us. That means you too, Y/n.
Y/n: Whatever. So, what's with this shiny thing you gave me?
Chuck: That's your badge, it's to prove your a government agent, so don't lose it.
Amy opened her passport and it had a picture of her in her angry stage.
Amy: I look terrible!
Mr. Tanaka: Really?
Chris: You do?
Cream: Let me see.
Cheese: Chao?
Amy: Why did they have to use this picture? I look like a lunatic!
Mr. Tanaka: Now, now, Ms. Amy. I wouldn't say that it makes you look like a lunatic... exactly.
Amy: It makes me look like an insane, off-the-wall, out-of-control maniac. I hate it!
Y/n: Now, now, I say that description is wrong too.
Amy: What?
Y/n: I say that a better description of you would be a psychotic, ugly, manipulative, bitch.
Amy got her hammer out.
Amy: Could you perhaps say that a little slower.
Y/n: If you can't understand what I said then maybe I should add very stupid as well. Mostly because she won't even have a brain anymore.
He activated his blade bracelets and Ella and Cream finally stepped in.
Ella: That is enough.
Cream: Just calm down you two.
Y/n: Fine.
Amy: Just know, you won't always have Cream and Ella to protect you.
Y/n: I could say the same to you.
Sonic finally showed up.
Sonic: Hey there, guys. What's all the excitement about in here?
Chuck: Sonic. Just in time. I've got your documents, too.
Y/n: They better not say that he's related to me.
Chuck: They don't. Here, always keep this with you, Sonic.
Sonic: Huh? What's this for?
Chris: It's a passport, so you can go wherever you want whenever you want to.
Sonic: Pretty cool. I do like to travel. If I went everywhere I wanted to go on this whole planet, it'd take me... (chuckle) about a day.
Later.
Tails, Chris, Amy, Cream and Cheese were in the X-Tornado while Sonic and Y/n were sitting on the outside.
Amy: Bye, everybody.
Cream: We'll see you later.
Cheese: Chao, chao!
Ella: Now you be careful up there. No funny stuff.
Y/n: Trust me, nothing I do is funny.
Chuck looked at Chris.
Chris: Bye grandpa, I'll see ya.
Chuck nodded.
Chuck: I'll be waiting.
The trees started to clear out as the X Tornado started to rev up its engines.
Tails: X Tornado, take off.
The plane took to the sky.
Chuck: Tanaka, go keep an eye on Chris, but make sure he doesn't see you.
Mr. Tanaka: Yes, sir. I will be invisible.
Meanwhile.
With the X Tornado.
Y/n: It sure is peaceful in the sky today.
Sonic: Yeah.
Inside.
Cream: Oh, Amy, are we going to go somewhere that's sunny?
Amy: Uh-huh. Look. The Grand Blue Sapphire Sea. This travel guide says it's one of the most beautiful places of the whole planet. (blushing) Ah! I bet the sunsets are very romantic.
Chris: (Over radio: Hey, Amy, do you read me?)
Amy: Huh?
Chris: Check out the scenery down there. It's really pretty awesome.
Amy: I'm not looking. I only care about one thing, and that's getting to the Sea ASAP.
She giggled a bit.
Chris: But I'm trying to tell you. We're flying over the Grand Blue Sapphire Sea right now!
Both her and Cream looked outside and they stared in awe as they saw the beautiful ocean below them.
Amy: Wow. The water looks so amazing.
Cream: It's so beautiful.
Cheese: Chao-chao!
Amy: Yeah. I wanna go swim. And go water-skiing too.
Cream: Let's all go sailing.
Cheese: Chao!
Chris: Yeah. I can't wait.
Tails: Hey, Chris.
Chris: Huh? What's wrong?
Tails: Check out the Chaos Emerald.
The Chaos Emerald started to glow.
Chris: Could it be another emerald?
The X Tornado suddenly began to shake.
Sonic: Hey, What's going on?
Tails: The same thing happened when we were flying over Diamond Stadium! And that means...
Cream: Since we're flying over water, there must be a Chaos Emerald underwater.
Amy: You're right, Cream.
Chris: Then we have to go find it.
Y/n: By any means necessary.
Tails: Hang on, I see a landing spot. I'm gonna take us down.
They flew until they landed and walked to town.
Sonic: Ah, nice place here. Hmm?
They noticed some people staring at them.
Sonic: Let's try to keep a low profile, okay, guys?
Y/n: That's gonna be hard considering the number of people staring at us.
Man: Hey, isn't that Sonic the Hedgehog?
Woman: Yes, it is him.
Man: And he's with his brother, Y/n.
Teenager: I wonder what they're doing here.
Woman: There they are!
Man: Let's get they're autograph!
Man 2: Dips on Y/n's autograph first!
Suddenly, the whole crowd started running after the gang.
Chris: Stampede!
Y/n: I'll take care of this!
Cream: No, don't, Y/n.
Sonic: We better get out of here quick.
They started to run away and after a bit they were in a rocky part of a beach that was empty besides them.
Chris: We can't escape crowds no matter where we go.
Amy: Being famous isn't any fun. I wish we could just blend in with the crowd, but that seems impossible.
Cream: We all stick out too much.
Tails: It was a lot easier when we had to hide out at your house.
Y/n: Why didn't you let me deal with them?
Tails: Because we know how you do things, Y/n. The people of this world are actually trusting you, are you really willing to throw that away because of a fan crowd?
Y/n: You're right.
Chris: Well, at least we lost that crowd for a little while.
Amy: Yeah, why don't we all go for a swim while we have a chance?
Y/n: Yeah, and I can throw Sonic into the water.
Amy: Are you really gonna do that to him?
Y/n: I'll let you give him mouth to mouth if he drowns.
Amy: Get him in that water right now!
Cream: Speaking of Sonic, didn't he run here with us? Where did he go?
Chris: Maybe he decided to go look for that Chaos Emerald by himself.
Y/n: Either that or he's just laying down and doing nothing like he usually is.
Later.
Chris was walking through the shore
Chris: Sonic, where are you? Hey, Sonic. I wish he didn't always have to do things on his own.
???: You talking about me?
Chris looked over a rock and saw Sonic laying down and doing nothing.
Chris: So there you are. I thought you'd be looking for the Chaos Emerald, not doing what Y/n said you'd be doing.
Sonic: Hmm... That Chaos Emerald's out there somewhere but I can't find it unless I get to the bottom and stay there for a while.
Chris: Huh? Hmm. So the big problem is how to get you an air supply down there, right? Leave it to me.
Meanwhile.
With the others.
Cream and Amy were playing in the water while Tails, Cheese and Y/n were chilling on land.
Tails: So, what have you been up to, Y/n?
Y/n: Well, I've been trying to find out if Robotnik survived the ship crash. What about you?
Tails: Nothing much really.
Back with Sonic and Chris.
Chris was holding some kind of tube.
Chris: Our problem's solved. Now you can get to the emerald.
Sonic put the tube in his mouth.
Sonic: I hope you're sticking the other end of this thing in a milkshake.
Chris: No, it's an air hose. I'll keep this end up here so you can breathe. Just make sure you don't lose the hose or you'll be in trouble.
Sonic: Yeah, and out of air. Okay, I'll give it a shot.
Chris: Good luck, Sonic.
Sonic jumped into the water and he was walking down the sea floor until the hose's union fell in and got stuck between some rocks. As Sonic tried to get it free a crab showed up and cut the hose, than Sonic jumped out of the water with the crab who pinched him when they were in the air.
Sonic: Ow!
Later.
Chris was now holding a giant bell.
Chris: Here, this'll work. You can bring air with you. It's a diving bell. See?
Sonic: This is the most ding-a-ling thing I've ever heard of.
Y/n showed up.
Y/n: Hi. I came to see if you two idiots haven't killed yourselves yet.
Chris: Sonic's gonna use this diving bell to look for the Chaos Emerald.
Y/n: Yeah, I say we veto this idea and move on to the next one to save time.
Later.
They were all back in town.
Chris: If we're gonna search underwater, the best way to go is to rent some scuba gear. You always need to use professional equipment or else diving can be really dangerous.
Y/n: And yet you only remember that after you put Sonic through all of that.
They were in a scuba shop.
Chris: We'll need six air tanks, plus flippers and a pair of goggles for me. I should have enough money with me to pay for all the diving equipment and the boat. How much will that all cost, sir?
Manager: Forget it. You don't owe me a dime.
Chris: Huh?
Manager: The government sent a notice to all shop owners that it'll cover your bills as part of its "Sonic and Y/n budget." Is there anything else I can get for you guys?
Chris: Uh...
Y/n walked to the counter.
Manager: Hey, you're Y/n, right?
Y/n: Yes, but you may call me (shows him his badge) Agent Hedgehog. I need to know if you know anything about shiny objects in the sea.
Manager: Well, I might know something. You see this painting up here?
The three of them looked at a painting of a pirate ship.
Manager: You see, this ship was lost at sea a long time ago, and there's a legend that it sank near here with a huge load of gold. Folks here think the legend's true.
Y/n: That might have what we're looking for. Do you have anything I could use to carry something underwater?
Manager: Well, here's a bag you can use this.
The manager but a leather sack on the counter.
Y/n: That could work.
They all left the store.
Chris: Thanks. Let's get the boat, guys.
Manager: Take care, and have fun!
They were all now at sea.
Amy: Don't worry, Sonic. We'll be with you in case you get into trouble.
Chris: That's right.
Tails: But we know you'll do great down there.
Chris: Remember to take long deep breaths, and you'll be okay.
Y/n: I have no faith in you whatsoever, but I'll still be there to help incase you decide the water's too much.
Sonic: Right.
Chris: Then let's go.
Chris put on his gear and jumped in the water.
Amy: You all set, Sonic?
Sonic: Yep, let's dive.
Y/n: Good, because if you weren't I was gonna throw you down there.
They all put on the scuba gear and they followed after Chris with Sonic holding Tails and Amy's hands.
Later.
Y/n was holding the yellow Chaos Emerald.
Tails: The Chaos Emerald's getting brighter. We must be getting closer.
Chris: Hey, look!
They stopped in front of what looked like a shipwreck underwater.
Chris: Woah. That Must be the ship the guy in the diving shop told us about, Y/n.
Y/n: Yeah, and that might be where that damn fourth Chaos Emerald is.
Tails: You might be right about that, Y/n.
Sonic: Then what we are waiting for? Let's go check it out.
They all went inside the ship and was amazed to see so much treasure.
Chris: So the legend was true.
Cream: It's amazing.
Amy: Think of how much jewelry you could make with all this gold.
Y/n: Wait till I tell Rouge about this.
The Chaos Emerald they had started glowing really bright.
Tails: This is glowing at full brightness now! I bet the new Chaos Emerald is buried somewhere under all this gold. We'll have to dig through the treasure to find it.
Y/n: Good thing I brought this sack so I can carry it back with us along with a few other things.
Chris: Right, but that could take us forever.
Y/n: Then we better get started.
Y/n took a few gold coins and a diamond necklace. Than suddenly, something popped out of the treasure which surprised everyone.
Chris: What's that?
A crab came out of the treasure and it was holding the dark blue Chaos Emerald.
Sonic: Oh, no way.
Chris: He's got the Chaos Emerald.
Tails: You think he'll give it to us?
Y/n: I doubt it.
Sonic: Hold it, right there.
Sonic got into the treasure with the crab.
Sonic: We need that Chaos Emerald. Drop it or I'll give you something to be crabby about.
The crab threw the emerald to Amy who caught it.
Amy: This vacation turns out to be very rewarding.
Cream: We're one emerald closer to going home!
???: Your vacation is over, Sonic and Y/n.
They all looked behind them and saw Eggman in his ship and he was laughing maniacally.
Eggman: They're going to wish they never saw the sea. Clurken, put the sting on those hedgehogs!
A jellyfish like robot appeared in front of Eggman's ship.
Sonic: You guys get back to the boat. Me and Y/n can handle Eggman and his robot ourselves.
Chris: All right, but be careful, Sonic.
Cream hugged Y/n.
Cream: Please be safe, Y/n.
Y/n: I will, Cream.
Chris: Come on, guys.
Cream let go of Y/n and her along with the others started to swim up. Than Clurken tried to hit the hedgehogs but they easily dodged it. Sonic tried to run but he couldn't. Clurken than used more of its tentacles to smash the ground beneath them causing the hedgehogs to go flying.
Sonic: Running underwater is really a drag! It's impossible to move fast here!
Y/n: Are you an idiot?! Down here, swimming is what counts.
Eggman: (laughing) He should have known that water makes the perfect speed trap.
Clurken than used its tentacles to shoot missiles which caused Sonic to go upward.
Eggman: (laughing) This time he's all washed up.
Meanwhile.
The others got back to the boat safely.
Chris: Is everybody okay?
Tails: Of course, we are.
A horn hunked and it came from a yacht that was being drove by Mr. Tanaka.
Mr. Tanaka: Ahoy-Ahoy. Master Chris, I came to rescue you.
Chris: Mr. Tanaka?
Mr. Tanaka: We do not have much time. All of you get aboard, quickly.
Chris: Hold on. What are you doing here?
Mr. Tanaka: I promised your grandfather I'd keep you out of trouble, and so I followed you all here. I saw you needed help and came faster than you can say, "Dinner is served."
Chris: Uh... huh.
Back with Sonic and Y/n.
Sonic was still having a bit of trouble against Clurken, when Clurken threw a tentacle at Sonic he grabbed it and Clurken used that opportunity to throw Sonic out of the water and then Clurken used all of its tentacles to keep throwing Sonic up in the air again and again.
Sonic: Hey, get your tentacles off me! Hey. Cut it out.
Y/n: Gladly.
Y/n ran up and used his right bracelet blade to cut one of Clurken's tentacles off and grabbed Sonic then got back to the boat.
Y/n: Beating that thing is gonna be tough unless I can get to the center of its head.
Tails: Can't you just run on the water like you did the other day?
Y/n: I need to start with being on a solid surface, if I jump from the water I won't be able to run on it.
They heard the sound of a jet-ski and it was being driven by Sam.
Sam: (laughing) Uncle Sam to the rescue.
Chris: Uncle Sam.
Sam: I heard you might be in a jam, so I sped right over.
Y/n: I never thought I would need help from you of all people.
Sam: And I didn't think I'd be helping you of all people.
Y/n: Look, can you and Sonic destruct that robot while I destroy it?
Sonic: Now that sounds like a plan.
Sam: Here, use this and you can ski with me.
Sam threw Sonic a ski hook and Sonic started to ski in front of Clurken.
Sonic: Hey Eggman, over here!
Clurken than started to shoot missiles at Sonic but they missed.
Sonic: You can do better than that, Eggman.
They span around Clurken a few times.
Y/n: Okay Cream, count me down.
Cream: 3... 2... 1... go!
Y/n ran on the water and jumped high into the air then destroyed Clurken with Spin dash.
Chris: All right.
Y/n went to Sonic and Sam as they smiled at each other and fist bumped.
Later.
Chris and Y/n were back at the scuba shop.
Manager: Whoa! I can't believe it! The legend of the sunken ship is true?
Chris: Yeah, but Eggman's robot came after us and wrecked the wreck! Whatever's left of that ship and treasure got buried on the sea button.
Manager: Oh, I see.
Y/n: Not all of it got buried.
Both: Huh?
Y/n got two gold coins and put them on the counter.
Y/n: There, now you can confirm that the ship is real.
Manager: I tried to find that ship for years. Thanks to you two, I finally have proof that it was real.
Later.
Everyone was on the yacht.
Chris: Then the guy at the diving shop told us the most amazing story of all. Turns out his great-grandfather was the captain of that sunken ship we found.
Tails: Whoa, cool.
Chris saw Y/n staring at the sunset and walked over to him.
Chris: You know, bringing that guy gold from his great-grandfather's ship was really nice of you, Y/n.
Y/n: I know.
Chris: Look, I may not have known your dad, but I'm sure he would have been proud of you.
Y/n smiled.
Y/n: Thanks, Chris. That means a lot.
