Announcer: Last time, The President ordered an all-out attack on Dr. Eggman's island base.
Military advisor: It'll be a two-pronged assault from both sea and air.
Announcer: Rouge the Bat and Y/n the Hedgehog, now both working for the government, were put in charge of a special forces team to sabotage Eggman's base from inside, and Y/n might be reconsidering his choice to leave Team Sonic. Meanwhile, Chris and Tails discovered the location of the third Chaos Emerald. But their plan to unearth it was gone with the wind. Can our heroes hang on and capture the Chaos Emerald as well as Y/n stay on their team or will Eggman and his windy robot blow them away and will Y/n leave like he said?
The President was still on the big TV in town.
President: My fellow citizens, the assault against the headquarters of Dr. Eggman has begun. Our military forces will press on until Eggman is no longer a threat to the world. We will not fail. Dr. Eggman must be stopped now.
Danny was among the crowd and he saw the fighter planes on the TV.
Danny: Woah, this will be a heavy-duty fight.
At the Eggman base.
The assault was still going on and some missile robots were firing missiles at the Air Force and the fighter plane that Knuckles stowedaway on fired a big missile at the base and Knuckles took a ride on it when Knuckles and the missile were nearing the base Knuckles jumped off and use the spikes on his fist to climb the base.
Inside the base.
The agents were still in pursuit and Y/n was lost in his thoughts and he remembered what he said a month ago.
Flashback.
Y/n: Once Robotnik is dealt with I'm leaving.
Back to present.
Y/n: (Thinking: That's what I said, so why am I rethinking it?)
Topaz: Hey, you okay, Y/n?
Y/n: Huh? Yeah, I'm fine.
Rouge: Good, I hate seeing my light blue boo in such a mood.
They continued moving until Rouge and Y/n stopped.
Rouge: Hold it!
The rest stopped too.
Topaz: Why did we stop?
Rouge: Because we're about to get a visit from Eggman's welcome wagon.
Y/n: And it's a big one.
A giant robot got in there way.
Rouge: I'll take it!
Y/n: No, I got it.
Rouge: Together then?
Y/n: Sure.
They both charged at the robot.
Topaz: Rouge, Y/n!
Back with Mr. Stewart.
The wind was still going strong and it blew Mr. Stewart's car back a bit.
Mr. Stewart: Poor Chris, he's out here too! This is terrible.
At the corn field.
The X-Cyclone landed hard on the ground in front of the others then Funfun walked closer to them and Francis got up a bit.
Francis: We can't stay here!
Chris: Just hang on!
Amy: Francis, get down now!
Francis nearly got blown away but Amy grabbed her and put her back down.
Amy: Stay down and don't try any more stunts!
Francis: Right. Sorry!
Amy: I hope Tails is all right!
Tails was unconscious but Funfun's big foot steps woke him up.
Chris: Hey, Tails!
Funfun was put it's foot on the X-Cyclone.
Eggman: That's right, Funfun. Show that furry urchin who's in charge! Put your foot down!
Funfun was putting more pressure on the X-Cyclone and Tails started to scream.
Eggman: Ha ha! Ta-ta, Tails! It's crunch time!
Just than, Sonic showed up.
Eggman: Ergh, it can't be!
Sonic chuckled and knocked Funfun down and the strong wind it was making started to blow on Eggman.
Chris: There he goes.
Eggman went really high.
Eggman: Stop it, Funfun! Shut down your motorrrrrrr....
Eggman was blown completely out of sight than Funfun's fan eventually stopped and Tails got out of the X-Cyclone.
Tails: You've saved us all!
Sonic: Yeah, yeah, but, Tails, why'd you wind up way out here?
Tails: We've found out that the third Chaos Emerald is here. Woah, that's right, I almost forgot!
Tails started digging vigorously.
Sonic: Easy, pal!
The ground started to shake and Funfun got back up.
Sonic: Cool your jets, big guy! Just let him dig up what he came here for and we'll all go away!
Funfun's fan started up again.
Sonic: Guess I'll have to knock the wind out of ya!
Funfun completely got up and Chris climbed into the X-Cyclone.
Chris: Sonic!
Chris pushed a button and it launched a power ring towards Sonic who caught it.
Sonic: Got it!
Sonic Spindashed through Funfun and destroyed it than Tails finally uncovered the Chaos Emerald which was yellow.
Tails: Oh, wow!
??? Why, Tails, you shouldn't have!
Tails looked around trying to find where the voice came from when a robotic hand grabbed the emerald.
Tails: Aaaaaaah!
The robotic arm came from the Egg-carrier that was in the sky and Eggman started laughing and he flew off.
Sonic: Let's go get it back!
Tails: Huh, yeah!
Francis got into the X-Cyclone.
Francis: Right.
Chris: Francis!
Francis: Huh? What?
Chris: Umm, I think... It might be better if you stay here.
Francis: How come, Chris?
Chris: It's gonna be dangerous!
Amy: Hey, Chris!
Tails: You're not staying behind, are ya?
Chris: All right! Let's just go!
Chris, Francis, Tails, and Amy were in the X-Cyclone as it turned back into the X-Tornado and Sonic jumped on to the nose.
Sonic: Let's go get 'em!
They started flying.
Chris: Hang on, we need to find a way to call Y/n!
Amy: Why do we need him?
Chris: It might give us a better chance to stop Eggman!
Amy: But seriously, why that jerk of all people?
Tails: Amy, I know you don't like him, but he is as quick as Sonic and can help us out a whole lot.
Sonic: Don't worry, something tells me he already knows what to do and where to go.
Back at the Eggman base.
The robot was trying to crush Rouge but she dodged and Y/n cut one of the robots arms off.
Rouge: Hurry, set the charges!
Topaz put some sort of device on the robot and Y/n put another one on its head.
Topaz: Okay!
Y/n: It's set to go.
Topaz pressed a button on a remote and the floor beneath the robot exploded and it fell through and both Rouge and Topaz high-fived.
Y/n: What was that you two did?
Topaz: It's called a high-five.
Rouge: You've never been high-fived before?
Y/n: No.
Topaz: Hm? Maybe you're more of a fist bump guy.
Y/n: I've never fist bumped either.
Topaz and Rouge quickly demonstrated what it was.
Y/n: I might try it.
In the control room.
Yellow robot: Our situation is becoming dangerous! Those soldiers have us outnumbered!
Silver robot: We must formulate a new strategy quickly before they deactivate us!
Their sensors picked something else up.
Silver robot: Another enemy ship is approaching! This one must not get through!
Yellow robot: Blast them!
The base fired missiles at the unidentified ship and it turned out to be Eggman.
Eggman: Cease fire! It's me, you scrap heads!
They stopped firing at Eggman and he saw what was watching his base get destroyed.
Eggman: Ergh... the President thinks he's got me in his sights! Hah! Well, I hope you didn't rehearse a victory speech because I'm back in command now!
Missiles fired at him again.
Eggman: Hey, those are my missiles!
Eggman got into his base.
Back in town.
Scarlet: The attack on Eggman's base appears to be failing. Wait, what's that? A new aircraft is on the scene.
Woman: Is that one of ours?
The X-Tornado showed up on screen and Danny recognized it instantly.
Danny: Ah, the X-Tornado!
Everyone in the crowd looked at Danny.
Man: Tornado?!
Woman: Where did it come from?
Scarlet: There's something on the nose of the craft. It's a blue-
The camera zoomed in and showed Sonic.
Scarlet: It can't be, a blue hedgehog?
Danny: It's Sonic!
Teenager: Who is that dude?
Woman: Yeah, what's his name again?
Albert and Elmer were also in the crowd.
Danny/Elmer/Albert: His name is Sonic! Sonic the Hedgehog!
Back inside the base.
The agents were still on the move.
Topaz: There!
They ran to the door of the power generator but before they could go in another giant robot showed up.
Topaz: There's another one?
Rouge: Don't worry, sweetie. I'll handle this robot.
Y/n: No, just give me ten seconds and I'll destroy it.
Rouge: Oh, you're so cute when you try to be heroic. Topaz, you lead the team to the generator room and set the charges!
Topaz: (nod) All right guys, follow me!
The team was on the move again except for Y/n and Rouge who stayed to fight the robot.
Y/n: All right, here's the plan, you fly around and confuse it then I'll cut it's head off.
Rouge: Taking charge I see, I like it.
Rouge started to fly around the robot so it would focus on her and Y/n was getting in position to strike it until a bunch of laser robots appeared in front of the generator room.
Rouge: Missed me, slowbot!
She flew up but the robot grabbed her.
Rouge: Y/n, now!
Y/n finally made his move and slashed the bot's head off and Rouge was able to get out of its grip.
Rouge: Nice save, then again I wouldn't expect anything less from my light blue boo.
The laser robots started to fire and the team ducked down then Knuckles burst through the wall.
Rouge/Y/n: Knuckles!
They both looked at each other.
Y/n/Rouge: Wait, you know him too?
Knuckles ran on the walls and easily destroyed the robots.
Topaz: Wow, thank you. You're one of Sonic and Y/n's friends, aren't you?
Knuckles: Y/n, yes. Sonic, we're not friends!
Y/n: It was a good thing you came when you did, Knuckles.
Knuckles: Don't mention it. By the way, what are you and these guys trying to do here anyway?
Rouge: We came her to destroy Eggman's base. In fact, we're on our way to sabotage the generator room right now.
Knuckles: There's no way you could do it! That room will be impossible to get into, even with Y/n's help.
Y/n: Are doubting my capabilities, Knuckles?
Knuckles: Uh, no, of course not.
Topaz: We have to try.
Knuckles: You'll fail, unless you have me along. I can't wait to see the look on Sonic's face when he finds out I helped defeat Dr. Eggman while he missed out on the glory. That will mess with his ego.
Rouge: Sounds like you've got an inferiority complex!
Knuckles: Huh? I have a what?
Rouge: Oh, nothing, never mind, Knuckles.
She giggled a bit.
Y/n: It would be good to have him along. After all, me and him have spared a few times, so we know each other's moves.
Knuckles: And there for will work well together.
In the control room.
Eggman: That was me! You tin-can turkeys nearly wiped out the evilest genius in the universe! Bah!
Robots: Sorry, doctor.
He zoomed in and saw Sonic smirking.
Eggman: I'll wipe that smirk off Sonic's face! This time, I'm not holding back.
More missiles came out of the sand.
Chris: What's that?
Tails: Hang on tight, Chris.
Yellow robot: Uh-oh, look out, out.
Silver robot: This time, the doctor means business.
Missiles started to fire at the X-Tornado but they use some aerial maneuvers to dodge.
Chris: We're gonna crash.
Tails: Relax, we'll be fine.
More missiles came at them and the people in town were still watching.
Man: They're done for!
Danny: No, they're gonna make it through okay.
Back with the X-Tornado.
Amy: There's more coming!
Tails: Well, watch this!
Tails made a sharp turn and used the lasers on the X-Tornado to zap the missiles out of the sky.
Francis: Yay!
Sonic: Pretty cool, huh?
Danny: Go Sonic!
Everyone in the crowd started cheering and back at the Tails used the X-Tornado lasers to draw a circle on the base.
Tails: Hey, Sonic, will that work?
Sonic: Perfect!
Sonic jumped off the plane and went through the circle to get into the base then he started running and he bursted into a room.
Eggman: That's close enough! It was a fluke you pushed it this far. But now your lucky streak is over!
Eggman showed a robot that was a lot bigger then the other robots and he flew on to its head and attached it to the Egg-carrier.
Eggman: Ready, hedgehog?
Sonic: You bet, Dr. E!
The robot threw a punch but Sonic dodged it.
Meanwhile.
The agents were setting up the demolition charges around the generator.
Agent: The demolition charges are all set, Ma'am.
Topaz: Good work! Well, looks like we're ready, Rouge.
But Rouge wasn't around.
Topaz: Hey, where did Rouge go?
Knuckles: I saw her go that way.
He pointed up.
Topaz: What in the world is she doing there
Y/n: Don't worry, I'll go get her.
He ran to Rouge.
Y/n: Rouge.
Rouge: What is it, hon? Want some one-on-one time together?
Y/n: No, the charges are all setup, so we need to go.
Rouge: I need to take care of something first.
The robots were watching them.
Yellow robot: They appear to be working on opposite sides. But are either of them working for us? You should lock them all in until we can figure out who is who.
Silver robot: Good idea.
Rouge: Ah!
Y/n: Not on my watch.
A door shut but before more could shut Y/n ran to the first door and slashed through it.
Rouge: Uh-oh, not good...
Topaz: Hey, what are you up to, Rouge? And where's Y/n?
Rouge: They locked us in, but Y/n was able to get out in time.
Y/n: Don't worry, I'll find the control panel and get you guys out of there!
Topaz: (from the other side) Hurry up! We only have ten minutes before the charges go off!
Y/n: I'll be as fast as I can!
He ran off and he kept running until he saw Sonic fighting the giant robot which sent Sonic flying but Y/n caught him.
Sonic: Y/n? I'd knew you'd be here.
Eggman: (laughing) This is just great! I get to take out two bothersome hedgehogs for the price of one.
Y/n: You seem pretty confident for someone with your record.
Eggman: Well, you won't win this time even if you both work together.
Sonic: What do you say we prove him wrong, Y/n?
Y/n: I'd say, let's do it.
They both charged at the robot.
Eggman: The pressure's on now, hedgehogs!
Eggman's robot slammed and pinned Sonic and Y/n to the wall.
Sonic: Argh, I've gotten out of tighter squeezes!
Y/n: Do you ever stop talking?!
Eggman: This time, you've both finally met your match. Guerra-Hard's the ultimate combat robot because it's got the ultimate power supply- Two Chaos Emeralds!
Y/n: Two?
Sonic: I'll explain it later after we get out of this mess.
Y/n: I'm pretty sure all we have to do is rip those emeralds out of this robot's system.
Sonic: Sounds simple enough.
Eggman: I've been looking forward to this Sonic and Y/n-
He was interrupted by a phone call.
Eggman: Hello.
Yellow robot: (Over phone: Sorry to bother you, Doctor, but we have a problem. A group of intruders is locked in the generator room. We're unable to determine whose side they're on.)
Eggman: Huh?
He turned on a small screen in the Egg-carrier and saw Knuckles punching the door.
Eggman: Knuckles? Those are our enemies, you dump bot!
Yellow robot: (Over phone: Then we will eliminate them.)
Eggman: What are they doing in the generator room anyway?
Yellow robot: (Over phone: I am not certain, but they did mention something about demolition charges.)
Eggman: They what?
Y/n: Quickly, while he's distracted.
Sonic: This will be a cinch.
Sonic and Y/n used all their force to get out of Guerra-Hard's grip.
Eggman: Grr, get Sonic and Y/n!
The two hedgehogs started running.
Eggman: Run all you want! Guerra-Hard will still pulverize you!
Guerra-Hard threw a kick but both Sonic and Y/n jumped over it.
Eggman: Get them!
Sonic and Y/n ran up Guerra-Hard's leg and when they got close to Guerra-Hard's chest Y/n got into his Spindash while Sonic just jumped.
Eggman: Gah! Stop them!
But it was too late, Sonic and Y/n went through Guerra-Hard's chest and took a Chaos Emerald each.
Eggman: No, bring them back!
Y/n: So, this is what holding a Chaos Emerald is like.
Sonic: Yeah, but two Emeralds are better than one.
The two hedgehogs joined hands and they both felt a huge power surge through their veins then they both hit Guerra-Hard a bunch of times in different spots before they left the room and Guerra-Hard started frizzle out.
Eggman: Oh no!
Eggman got off of Guerra-Hard before it exploded then Y/n and Sonic hit the base in a dozen spots and even struck the room Knuckles, Rouge, Topaz and the other agents were in, then in town the crowd was cheering as they saw Eggman's base explode except Danny.
Danny: But, where's Sonic? And why didn't Y/n show up.
Elmer: Yeah, do you think Sonic made it out of there okay and Y/n's just didn't care to help?
At the Thorndyke's residence.
Chuck: That fireball's huge. I hope Sonic still wasn't in there.
Cream: I bet we'll see him any second along with Y/n.
Chuck: With Y/n? Why do you think that?
Cream: Because Y/n has never let me down and I know he would never let anyone else down either. Right, Cheese?
Cheese: Chao!
Back at the explosion.
Y/n and Sonic got out of the smoke with the two Chaos Emeralds and they both returned to the X-Tornado.
Sonic: Yeah!
The four in the X-Tornado: Sonic!
Tails: Huh? Y/n? Where'd you come from.
Y/n: I'll explain later, what's important now is that Robotnik is finally gone.
The crowd in town exploded in cheers.
Danny: Way to go.
Sonic: We did good, Sonic. Truly.
Y/n raised his fist towards Sonic.
Sonic: Are you going to punch me or do you want a fist bump?
Y/n: The second one.
Sonic: So, does this mean...
Y/n: Yes, (smile) we are friend.
Sonic smiled too and they both fist bumped and they all went back to the Thorndyke residence.
Cream: You guys did so good out there!
Sonic: Yeah, we finally beat Eggman.
Everyone except Y/n: Yeah!
Chris's smile quickly turned into a frown.
Chris: Now that did, do you know what that means?
They all remember what Y/n said a month back.
Y/n: As soon as Robotnik is dealt with, I'm leaving.
Flashback end.
Tails: I guess this means we have to say goodbye to Y/n.
Sonic: Well, Y/n, if you still want to leave, none of us will stop you. The choice is yours.
Y/n thought for a moment and then crossed his arms.
Y/n: I'll stay.
Everyone's face lit up.
Chris: Really, Y/n?!
Ella: This calls for a celebration!
Cream and Cheese hugged Y/n really tightly.
Cream: Oh, Y/n, you're going to have so much fun!
Cheese: Chao, chao!
Y/n pulled Cream by the back of her dress to try and pull her off but he couldn't.
Y/n: Hey, take it easy! I said I'll stay, but that doesn't make us best friends or anything!
Everyone else laughed.
