At night time the bat lady from Chapter 1 was looking at a museum than she flew to it and inside was a diamond and the guards were talking in the security room.
Guard: Anybody hungry?
He heard footsteps and saw the bat lady on the cameras.
Guard: Hey!
The bat lady got in front of the diamond's case and an alarm went off.
Guard 2: What's going on?
Guard 3: What's wrong?
Guard 2: How could anybody get in there?
The bat lady started to admire the diamond and she brokethe case with a kick and took the diamond.
Bat lady: Hello, gorgeous.
Guard: We'll lock down the place.
The guard hit some buttons and all the doors and windows got sealed shut.
Guard: Nobody's getting out of here now.
The three guards went to the diamond room.
Guard 3: Hands in the air!
They saw that the room was empty and a card was in the spot where the diamond should be that said...
Guard: "Thank you"? What? Is this a gag?
They saw that the sky light of the room was lifted up by a crain and the bat lady was flying through the sky.
Bat lady: You may not be a Chaos Emerald, but you'll do, for now...
Cream, Cheese and Y/n was watching the news in the Thorndyke garage and Y/n was peeling and cutting an apple.
Reporter: I'm coming to you live from the National Museum where officials say that the world's largest diamond was stolen late last night. Law-enforced authorities are baffled by the outbrake of precious gem robberies, but private sources tell SSTV that they believe that this was merely the biggest in a series of jewel thefts that have plagued Station Square in recent days.
The door open.
???: Sonic?
Scarlet: This is Scarlet Garcia, SSTV News.
Amy was holding the door open with one hand and holding a pizza in the other.
Amy: Hey, Cream, have you seen Sonic?
Cream: The last time we saw him he was with Chris and Tails, but I'm not sure where they went.
Cheese: Chao!
Amy: That's too bad. Hey, feel like having some pizza?
Cream: Yes! Are you sure it's okay?
Y/n: Don't take it, Cream. She probably drugged it.
Amy: And why would I do that?
Y/n: Maybe so you could do things with Sonic that he would never do with you if he was awake.
Amy: (blush) Uh... what?
Y/n got done with the apple cutting it into six slices.
Y/n: Here you go, Cream, three for you and three for Cheese.
Cream took the slices.
Cream: Thank you, Y/n.
Cheese: Chao, chao.
With Sonic.
Tails was flying the X-Tornado with Chris inside and Sonic was laying on the roof.
Chris: Tails, you see anything down there?
Tails: No.
Tails shifted the plane a bit and Sonic nearly fell off.
Tails: Nothing there.
Chris: Don't worry. We're gonna find those emeralds. And Sonic will help, right?
He turned around but didn't see Sonic.
Chris: Uh, Sonic? Uh, wh-where are you?
Sonic was hanging on to the bottom of the plane.
At the white house.
The president and a bunch of other people were having a conversation.
President: Something has to be done, gentlemen. We must take action, Eggman is a threat to our nation's security. We've no choice but to launch an attack.
Man: Mr. President, I want to stop this Eggman as much as you do, but it's not so simple.
Man 2: I'm afraid the chairman is right, sir. After examining the remnants of one of Eggman's robots, we've determined that his technical capabilities and military hardware far surpass our current weapon systems.
Man 3: That may be so, but it doesn't change the fact that something must be done.
Man 4: Would you consider asking those hedgehogs to assist us in this mission?
President: You mean, Sonic and Y/n?
Man 4: Eggman's an unusual enemy, sir, and that calls for some unusual allys. With this in mind, sir, I think Sonic and Y/n have what it takes to get the best of him. They just might be the only hope we have, Mr. President. Even one of them could be enough.
President: That's true, but how do we know we can communicate with some hedgehogs.
Man 4: Our operatives have observed speaking to the young boy their staying with. They understand the language.
President: Fine, then we'll do it.
Man 4: Sir, I think you've made the right choice.
At Chris's school.
All the kids were painting pictures and Chris was painting the red Chaos Emerald.
Overall girl: Hey, I bet that that's that Chaos Emerald you and Sonic have been trying to find, right, Chris?
Chris: Kinda!
Green jacket boy: It looks like that?
Mr. Stewart walked up to them.
Mr. Stewart: Let's keep the chatting down to a minimum and focus on the painting.
Chris/Green jacket boy: Ah, right!
Mr. Stewart: What's that you're painting, Chris?
Chris: Uh, an emerald.
Mr. Stewart: But I thought all emeralds were supposed to be green.
Chris: Uh, You're right, funny. I'll just start over.
Mr. Stewart: No, Chris. Your emerald can be any color you want it to be. Matter of fact, I heard a red emerald was found somewhere recently in around Silky Heights.
Chris: Waa?
He bolted up and everyone looked at him.
Chris: Ah, sorry.
Mr. Stewart: In fact, if I'm not mistaken, they found that emerald in an old dilapidated factory not too long ago.
The bat lady from last night was hanging from a tree listening in on the conversation.
Bat lady: Hmm, who knows what interesting little tidbits you can pick up if you hang around long enough.
Later at the Thorndyke residence.
The green jacket boy went with Chris to meet the others.
Danny: Hi, I'm Danny. Nice to meet you.
Amy: Hi there, I'm Amy. This is my friend, Tails.
Tails: Hi.
Danny: Hey.
Chris: Uh, where are Sonic and Y/n?
Tails: Sonic left already, and Y/n's-
Y/n ran in.
Tails: Right there, and it's about me and him head out, too.
Tails, Chris, Amy, and Danny flew in the X-Tornado while Y/n went by foot.
With Sonic.
Sonic ran until he stopped in front of a sign that said the factory they were going to was to the right.
Sonic: That way. Huh?
The others caught up to him.
Danny: All right! Yeah, this is the coolest thing ever!
Chris: Okay, cool it. Will you, Danny?
Amy: Look! There's Sonic!
They all ran/flew to the sign and the bat lady came out of the bushes.
Bat lady: Hah! They feel for it!
She started to fly and after a while she saw the factory and landed in front of it.
Bat lady: That's it! Now, to see if I can find another emerald.
She flew in and she walked around for a few seconds until she saw something that sparkled in the little bit of light.
???: I hope you enjoy looking at the emerald.
She turned around and was shocked to see Y/n was there.
Y/n: Because that's all you're gonna get.
Bat lady: How did you know?
Y/n: It was like you said at the school, I hung around and I did find an interesting tidbit. Than at the sign, when you thought we all fell for your little trick, I went behind a tree and ran in place to make you think I feel for it.
Bat lady: Okay, you're pretty good, but you're not gonna stop me from getting my emerald.
Y/n: Want a bet, bat?!
He ran at her and ramped her so hard the railing broke and they both fell through and landed on their backs.
Y/n: Ow!
Bat lady: That wasn't fun, was it?
Y/n: No! In fact, it hurt like a son of bitch!
Bat lady: Wait, weren't you that second hedgehog at Chaos Control?
Y/n: I sure was. Were you there? I didn't see you.
Bat lady: I made sure to stay out of sight.
Y/n turned to the shining object.
Y/n: Wait.
He ran closer to it and saw it was just a shiny pebble.
Y/n: We've both been tricked!
Suddenly, a bunch of spotlights shined on them and a bunch of agents were surrounding them.
Bat lady: My, my. Trying to trap us?
Y/n: If that's the case, they made their final mistake.
Woman agent: Don't make a move!
The agent moved closer.
Bat lady: Whatever you like!
Y/n: You're in no condition to make domains with me!
Woman agent: Easy now, we just want to talk.
She pulled out a pair of handcuffs and grabbed the bat lady's wrist.
Bat lady: You know, you're pretty tough for an old lady!
The woman blushed and the other agents laughed.
Woman agent: What are you clowns laughing at?! Commander!
The commander was also laughing a bit and cleared his throat and the woman huffed.
Bat lady: I'm not going anywhere. Matter of fact, I kinda like being in the spotlight.
Y/n: Oh, but I don't.
He ran and snapped an agent's neck then another one fell forward and Y/n stomped on his back which didn't kill the agent but knocked him out.
Y/n: You insect. You're not even worth killing.
He ran back to the bat lady.
Bat lady: Geez, over board much?
Y/n: Want some more examples?
Commander: I knew it would have to come to this.
He put a tranquilizer dart in his gun shot Y/n in the leg.
Y/n: Ah, what the-
Y/n got drowsy and he passed out.
Bat lady: What did you do?
Commander: Don't worry, he'll be fine in a few minutes. Now, we get to business.
The commander walked closer to the bat lady.
Commander: What's your name?
Rouge: I'm Rouge, that's Rouge the Bat.
Commander: Hey, I've seen you somewhere before. That's right! You're the one who snuck into the National Museum and stole that diamond, aren't you?
Rouge: Who me?
Commander: We set up a trap to catch Sonic or Y/n, and it worked with the bonus of a jewel thief. Funny how things work out that way!
Rouge: Hmm.
With the others.
Danny: Man, I'm starving.
Chris: Me too!
Tails: Hey, am I the only one that's realized that Y/n's not following us anymore?!
Chris: Really? Wonder where he is now.
At the white house.
Rouge was sitting in a chair and the woman agent was standing next to her while the commander tied Y/n's arms to a chair's arms while he was still unconscious.
Commander: That should do it.
Woman agent: Maybe you should take those weird bracelets off of him just to be safe.
Commander: Good idea.
The commander was about to take off one of Y/n's bracelets but it turned into a blade and Y/n woke up.
Y/n: Keep your hands off my bracelets!
The commander stepped back in shock.
Commander: How are you awake?! That's tranquilizer dart should have lasted for at least another three minutes!
Y/n: I bit my tongue and used the pain to wake up. Now...
He cut himself free.
Y/n: ...give me one good reason not to slash your throat.
Commander: Easy, we brought you here because we need your help.
Y/n: My help?
Commander: Yeah, tell me, do you want to stop Eggman?
Y/n: Do you mean Robotnik?
Commander: If that's what you want to call him. Do you want him gone or not?
Y/n: Not only do I want him gone, I want his head on a stick.
Commander: That's what I sort of like to hear, just sit here for a bit and we'll discuss more.
They all sat in the room in silence for a bit.
Rouge: Boy, I could really go for a cup of coffee.
Y/n: And get me some water.
Woman agent: What? Listen, missy! This isn't a country club. You're in deep trouble. Same with you, light blue boy!
Rouge: Yeah, yeah, I know, so I've heard, but all I want is a cup of coffee and he just wants some water.
Y/n: Yeah, just because we're in "trouble" doesn't mean you can't get us some drinks, bitch.
Rouge: Don't be such a nag!
Woman agent: A what? A nag, huh? And did just call me a bit-
Commander: Hey, get Bat a coffee and Hedgehog a water, Topaz.
Topaz: Hmph! Aye, aye!
She walked to a counter with coffee and regular cups and a coffee pot and water machine.
Topaz: They don't deserve them if you ask me!
Rouge: My, my. Topaz, eh? Isn't that the name of a gem?
Y/n: It is, and I believe it's a yellow colored gem.
Rouge: You know, when you spoke to her like that, it was kinda-
Y/n: Unacceptable?
Rouge: I was going to say hot.
The president and two of his men walked in and when Topaz looked she burned her hand while poring Rouge's coffee and the president sat down.
President: Case of the jitters, Topaz?
Topaz: I- I'm sorry, Mr. President, sir.
Man: So, you're Rouge, and you're- I'm sorry, which Hedgehog are you again.
Rouge: I would like to know your name, too, handsome.
Y/n: I am Y/n the Hedgehog.
Rouge: Are you and that Sonic brothers or something?
Topaz: A lot of us have wondered that, too.
Y/n: Why does everyone think that? We are not brothers.
Man: Well, Rouge and Y/n, I imagine you two must be wondering why we've brought you two here today.
Rouge: Uh-huh.
Man 2: Listen, Rouge and Y/n. We'd like to make a deal.
Rouge: A deal, huh?
Y/n: It better be a good one.
President: We are willing to offer you both complete immunity from your crimes. That is, of course, if you decide to join our team.
Rouge: Join your team? As what?
Y/n: Bounty hunters?
Man 2: No. You'll both work as undercover agents for the President.
Rouge: Wow! Imagine me, a real-life secret agent! And I would be unstoppable if I was partnered with Y/n! Tell me, why would you want a naughty little jewel theif like me on your team?
Y/n: Or a serial killer like me?
Rouge: Serial killer?
President: That is none of your business, young man and lady! Do we have a deal?
Rouge: Umm... (Thinking: Who knows? Working as an agent I just might get closer to the Chaos Emerald, and maybe this impressive Hedgehog.) Mr. Pres, you got yourself a deal!
President: Great, what about you, Y/n?
Y/n: Hm... (Thinking: This could be my best chance to kill Robotnik.) Count me in.
President: Congratulations, agents! Welcome aboard.
They we're about to shake hands with the President but stopped.
Rouge: Err, does this mean I don't get to keep my diamond?
President: Uh, oh, right. Well, what do you think?
Man: Well, the case is still considered unsolved as long as she promises not to talk.
President: There you have it.
Y/n: What about me? Can I not kill Robotnik or as you call him, Eggman anymore?
President: Uhh...
Man: You can still kill Eggman or Robotnik or whatever you call him.
President: Right.
Later.
Rouge, Y/n, Topaz, the commander and a bunch of other agents were sitting in a plane and Topaz was putting a gold bracelet on Rouge and a silver one on Y/n.
Rouge: What are these things?
Commander: Those are bombs.
Y/n/Rouge: Bombs?
Commander: If we push this remote control here, it's bye-bye batty and Hedgehog. See, we don't exactly trust either of you, so you be a good little boy and girl and maybe we won't have to use it.
Rouge: Huh!?
Topaz: Just think of them as some bracelets.
Rouge: Some bracelets that explode?
Topaz: It's supposed to be functional, not fashionable!
Y/n: I already have two functional bracelets.
Rouge: They look like something an old lady would wear! Why don't you try them on?
Y/n: Plus, I'd would be a blessing if you blew up.
Topaz: What does that mean?!
Rouge/Y/n: Just what you think it does, grandma/bitch!
Commander: Ladies, gentlemen, please.
Pilot: Approaching drop point, Commander! Straight ahead!
Commander: Yep, Roger! Get ready!
All of them jumped out and landed safely with parachutes on Eggman's Island
Commander: Landing successful.
Y/n: Let me scout the place out to make sure there aren't any guards.
Commander: You got one minute.
Y/n: I'll only need ten seconds.
He ran off and he came back after ten seconds.
Y/n: It's all clear.
They all got into the bushes and the Commander was looking at the Eggman Fortress through some binoculars.
Commander: I don't see an entrance anywhere! Come on, where is it?
Rouge: Ugh, do I have to do everything?
She grabbed a rope and flew up to the Fortress.
Commander: Oh, yeah?
The commander was about to push the remote's button for Rouge's bomb but Topaz stopped him
Topaz: Hang on, follow me!
All the agents ran closer to the Fortress and Rouge trew down the rope and gave a thumbs-up to Topaz who gave one back then all the agents along with Rouge and Y/n got in the Fortress.
Rouge: This way!
The commander grabbed Rouge by the arm.
Commander: Hold on. Where are you going?
Rouge: Don't be so jumpy! You want me to help out or don't you?
Commander: No funny stuff?
Rouge: I'm on your team now!
Commander: All right, just checking. What about you, light blue boy?
Y/n: Look, we both have a common interest to get rid of Robotnik, so I guess I'm on your side, but if you get in my way I'll kill you.
Commander: Okay, let's move in!
They all moved around in the Fortress for a bit until the commander stopped to look at his phone which has been mapping out the parts of the Fortress they've been in.
Commander: We don't have much further. Now, if we could just find the power output sector.
Topaz: Any idea where that might be?
Rouge: I guess I must've left my map at home!
Y/n: If I had to guess, it would be someplace where there's a strong electromagnetic charge.
Topaz: Well, it's almost dawn. What do you think we should do, Commander?
Commander: We don't have much time, let's keep looking.
All the agents started to move again except for Rouge who looked at a different hallway.
Rouge: Hmm.
Y/n ran back to Rouge.
Y/n: What is it?
Rouge: Commander?
Commander: Huh?
Rouge: Mind if I have myself a little look around?
Commander: Are you kidding? How do I know I can trust you?
Rouge: You can! I'll be right back.
Topaz: I'll go with her just in case.
Rouge: (scoff) Whatever.
Y/n: I'll go, too.
Rouge: (smiled) Lovely.
Commander: All right then.
The commander gave Topaz the remote to Rouge and Y/n's bombs.
Commander: Remember, don't do anything reckless!
Topaz: (salute)Yes, sir.
Rouge: (salute) Aye, aye!
Y/n: Whatever.
Topaz growled and the other agents left the Fortress while the three that were left behind walked and saw a door.
Rouge: This could get messy Especially for an old gal like Topaz.
Y/n: Please, allow me.
Y/n slash the door with his right bracelet blade and it fell apart.
Y/n: After you, Rouge.
Rouge: So polite.
They walked in and they saw some kind of containment cell holding Eggman's Chaos Emerald.
Rouge: My, my...
She flew closer and Y/n ran after her.
Rouge: Well, hello! It's beautiful!
Y/n: And it's even more powerful.
A door opened and a robot was on the other side.
Topaz: I have the strangest feeling we're being watched.
Y/n: Me too.
A robot hand grabbed Topaz and another one tried to grab Y/n and Rouge but they got out of the way in time and the robot had multiple speakers on it.
Topaz: Please, help me, guys!
Rouge: Hang in, girl!
Rouge was about to do a tornado kick spin on robot but it got out a big loud speaker and played a really loud noise that caused everyone to cover there ears and Rouge stopped her attack.
Rouge: I'll go insane! Huh?
A bunch of robots were at the door.
Y/n: Looks like Robotnik finally noticed his guest! I'll deal with them while you take out that sound robot, Rouge!
Rouge: How are you going to do that with all this noise?!
Y/n: I can move faster than the speed of sound, so it won't effect me once I run!
Y/n started to run and the robots tried to hit him but he easily dodged them and he was able to destroy them.
Topaz: Y/n!
Topaz looked down and she saw...
Topaz: The power generator!
Rouge tried to kick the sound robot again but it turned it's sound up and she failed again.
Rouge: I've had enough of this!
Y/n: Me too! Let's work together to destroy it!
Rouge: Yeah, but how?
Y/n: The answer is right on our wrist.
Rouge: Huh? Oh, I get it.
Rouge broke Y/n's bomb bracelet off and Y/n broke her's off and they both threw their bracelets and the sound robot to stop it's sound.
Y/n/Rouge: Push those buttons!
Topaz pushed the buttons for the bombs and the giant speaker exploded then Rouge and Y/n did a spin kick spindash combo attack and destroyed the speaker robot than Rouge grabbed Topaz.
Rouge: Hang on tight!
They flew/ran out of there and they saw Eggman.
Rouge: Move it!
Y/n: Out of the way, Robotnik!
Eggman got out of the way.
Eggman: Wait, that was Y/n.
There was a big explosion but luckily they were able to get out of there.
Topaz: Rouge, Y/n, I don't know how to thank you.
Rouge: I do. Lose some weight!
Y/n: You can thank me by letting me go back to the Thorndyke's house.
Topaz: Okay, but you can't tell your friends-
Y/n: acquaintances.
Topaz: You can't tell anyone about tonight.
Y/n: Got it.
Rouge: See ya later, handsome.
Y/n rolled his eyes and ran off.
Rouge: I think he's got it for me.
Later.
Y/n finally got back to the Thorndyke's residence and he walked inside tired.
Y/n: I'm back.
Sonic ran in front of him.
Sonic: Hey, Y/n, what happened? You disappeared last night. We thought something might have happened to you.
Y/n: Well, let's just say last night was a little batty.
