a week has passed and they were still in the Island.
they didn't mind as long as they have each other, besides it was school break and they want to spend it in literal break.
they were at the living room except for jake, his friends didn't noticed as they were playing video games.
"you can't beat me angry bird" heeseung teased
"oh yeah, beat that!" jay killed heeseung's character
"wohooo! loser wahaha" the latter was having a mini victory party and they all laughed at his stupidness
"let me have a try" ni-ki interrupt
"loser number 2 you're going down" the american did a 👎🏻 to his face
ni-ki smirked and ended jay's character in seconds, the American was too stunned to speak.
"correction you're the loser number 2 wahaha wooohhh!" the Japanese danced
"ya ya stop bullying" jungwon said while watching the chaos
"wonie he's bullying me~" he was pouting and making puppy eyes
everyone in the room starts to gags at his silliness
"ew jay you look like a stray" the japanese teased
sunoo was tearing up from laughing
the american was finding a weapon and he started to chase the japanese.
it was a chaos, it was like two mad dogs was having a fight because of a bone.
heeseung noticed that jake wasn't in the room so he looked for him. he looked at the rooms but no signs of jake was found, he remembered that jake likes reading so he went to the library.
heeseung pov:
there i saw jake standing in the big window staring outside.
i think he's worried about his father again, he looks so stressed these past few days i am so worried at his mental health to be honest.
i slip my arms at his waist "jakey?"
he got startled it was cute that then followed a long sigh, i looked at him and his eyes spoke. it was full of fear and worries.
"jakey if this is about us being involved in your father's stupidness–"
"ethan you know you can't talk about my father like that, he is still my father" he was sulking and he removed my arms at his waist.
"okay okay sorry jakey, i guess you respect him a lot even though he didn't respect you" i replied
he remained silent, i let him face me.
he was pouting and tears started to build up in his eyes.
"jakey i am willing to risk it all if its you."
he looked up at me with puppy eyes and a tear strolled down his pink cheeks.
i kissed the tear in his face and smiled at him.
"why are you being like this?" he questioned, i was confused at what he meant.
"we hated each other, we never get along but why are you suddenly like this?" tears were falling down in his face.
"do you need anything or something for you to treat me like thi–"
"jake it's not like that, i can't explain it yet to you but trust me it's not like that" i cupped his face, he was so fragile and his eyes was full of innocence.
i knew what he was saying, he was always a victim of being the friend that they approach because they need something from him.
i hugged him tightly as he cried.
"I'm sorry i can't tell you the reason why i am doing this, i just hope you will remember it yourself, why."
he pulled away from the hug, i touched his puffy cheeks it was so soft as he snuggled into my touch.
"thank you" he said and i swear i was having a mental breakdown in seconds.
we cuddled
a call interrupted us and i swear I'm going to declare war.
he pulled away and reached for his phone he looked at it and answer it right away.
"hello? oh hoonie hi~" he greeted and smiled
i smirked and backed hug him and snuggled my nose on his neck
he pinched my arms and glared at me, my smirk became wider.
"yeah tomorrow would be great yeah?" he continued as he was trying to not react
"yes that would be fun"
i rubbed my hands at his waist as he is ticklish pand he giggled a bit
"oh um i am watching funny videos right now" he explained to sunghoon and i laughed in tiny
"aww i miss you too"
okay that's it, i took the phone and shut it down.
"hey rude" he said and my eyebrow raised
"you were rude too to say i miss you in front of me" i sulked.
"is heeseungie jealous?" he smirked
"what no i am not" i denied
"aww i saw you pouting aegoo" he laughed
i just glared at him.
"btw i am going home tomorrow" he said and i was shook
"jakey you know it's dangerous" i stood up
"i have to face them ethan, they're my parents still."
"jakey i have to go with you" i suggested
"Heeseung you will be in danger, and i wouldn't want you all to be involved in my problem"
"jake i told you i am willing to risk it all" "you choose then, i am going to let lots of bodyguards to go with you or i am going with you" i debated
he sighed and had no choice "fine, but you will just live somewhere else and will never come in my house okay?"
"but–". "no buts, that's my condition take it or leave it." "fine"
he smiled "let's go i think our friends are looking for us"
"let's finish what we left first" i said as i snuggled to him
"come on, let's go" he giggled
"please" i formed a puppy eyes
"later okay? now come on" he said as he dragged me downstairs
"there they are" sunoo eyed us from the stairs
"where you doing something?" jay smirked at me
"aegoo why is our heeseung pouting?" ni-ki laughed
"what are you guys doing?" jake questioned and eyed the messy leaving room
"did a mad dog entered the house?"
"yeah, those are the two mad dogs" jungwon pointed at ni-ki and jay
sunoo laughed and so is jake
"i am too perfect to be a mad dog" ni-ki posed like a prince
jay gags and another chasing was then again broke.
we just laughed at them, it was a great memory to cherish.
"guys I'm going home tomorrow" jake started at the atmosphere was calm.
"what!?" they all shouted except for heeseung.
"are you crazy? jake it's dangerous" sunoo shaked jake
"i need to face them sunoo, no matter when it is i still need to face them. they are still my parents." jake explained
"I'm coming with you" jungwon suggested "me too!" sunoo added
"andwae" ni-ki and jay shouted at the same time, we stared at them
"jake we need to co–" "i will go with him" heeseung calmly said
"yeah he will" jake rolled his eyes
"okay heeseung will go don't worry" jay smirked
"you sure jakey?" sunoo questioned and jake nodded.
"okay enough, we need to have a barbecue party for dinner" the austrilian suggested and they were jumping in excitement.

ni-ki and heeseung was doing the barbecue while jay and jungwon prepared the veggies and plates.
sunoo and jake was talking at the wide swing.
"do you like him?" sunoo asked the brunette
"i don't know" he blushed
"jakey it's pretty obvious" sunoo teased
"okay okay i do, he's been sweet and caring to me lately i don't know why" jake blushed and looked at the moon.
"jakey i am glad you went to the person i could trust for you" sunoo smiled and grabbed jake's hand.
jake smiled at the topic and thought about how heeseung really is deep down, he never knew he would fall for his enemie. he never thought he could experience these feelings with him.
"is ni-ki your boyfriend already?" sunoo blushed at the sudden confrontation
"y-yeah, i didn't told you yet because its not yet the right time", jake squealed this
"eehh sunoo is inloveee~" jake sang
"ya lower your voice" he giggled at the latter's action.
"ya why are you two laughing without me?" jungwon pouted
they laughed and it was his turn to be teased "jungwon has a boyfriend named jay~" they all laughed
jungwon blushed and hit them lightly
they cuddled and jake couldn't thank God enough for the people around him.
Heeseung looked at them and smiled, jay noticed and teased him
"heeseung is a simp" heeseung rolled his eyes
"dude why did you suddenly came here with jake?" ni-ki asked
"yeah, that night before you came here, you were crying and the next day you're with the boy you cried for" the american giggled and was amazed at his friend.
"the night i was suffering he was suffering too" heeseung simply said and silence took over
"i saw him being harassed and saw bruises in his face i guessed it was from his father" jay and ni-ki was shook.
"wait so something really happened!?" jay questioned as he remember jungwon crying about the poison bottle
"sunoo and jungwon saw a broken bottle scattered in jake's room and it was poison pills" heeseung was beyond shook
he almost lost his favourite person, o my god he was raging mad at his father.
he stared at jake who's laughing and swore in his thoughts.

they were done eating and was drinking soju, an hour has passed and they were all drunk.
they all went inside and went to their beds.
heeseung lead jake as he was still sobber.
jake was fragile and heeseung carried him in bridal style,jake was saying nonsense that made him laugh.
he putted him in bed and looked at jake's red face.
"cute" he giggled, as he got up jake talked again
but it wasn't nonsense.
"i am so tired" heeseung looked back and he was crying
"i did everything i could but why did they treat me like i am not their son" he looked at him in worries
"i wonder if they even thought of asking me if i was okay with all of these" a lot of tears strolled down his cheeks
"jakey shh it's okay i am here, i am proud of you okay?" heeseung hugged him and he calmed down
"ethan" he called
"hm? ". "thank you for everything you have done to me". heeseung smiled and kissed his forehead.
they were cuddling in bed and they soon drifted to sleep.
