It was morning and Y/n was sitting on a tree and Sonic was laying on the roof and they both heard Christopher on the phone with someone.
Christopher: You see, there were these cats in the pool, and I got them out.
Women on the phone: Oh, you have a big heart, just like I do. Next time, ring for Mr. Tanaka and he'll take care of it, all right? Oh, darling, I must run. Kiss Mummy goodbye.
Christopher kissed the phone.
Women on the phone: Ciao, sweetheart.
She hung up and the two Hedgehogs came down to him.
Y/n: Whoever that was she sure is self-centered.
Christopher: What do you mean?
Y/n: "You have a big heart like mine" Self-centered much?
Sonic: I guess, but take a good look, Chris. We're hedgehogs, not cats.
Chris: Uh, I know. Please don't be mad you two.
Y/n: I'm already mad.
Chris: But why?
Y/n: Because the things here won't just leave me alone.
Chris: You mean people?
Y/n: So, that's what your kind is called.
Chris: Look, my mom wouldn't understand.
Sonic: Why wouldn't she?
Chris: Well, first of all, she knows I wouldn't risk diving into a pool in the middle of the night just to save two little hedgehogs.
Sonic: Really?
Y/n: Just understand you didn't save me at all, Christopher.
Chris: I know I didn't, Y/n. But I at least saved Sonic when you wouldn't, and I couldn't tell my mom that I met two talking blue hedgehogs. That reminds me. Where and when did you two learn how to talk?
Sonic: Good question. Unfortunately, I don't have a very good answer 'cause I don't remember.
Chris: Okay, what about you, Y/n?
Y/n: Well, I don't remember when, but where I learned to talk was at my Father's workshop.
The phone Chris was holding started to ring and he picked it up.
Chris: Hello?
Man on the phone: Chris, is everything all right?
Chris: Hey, Dad. How are ya?
Chris's dad: I'm fine, but your mother just called and told me you made an emergency rescue last night. I guess our security system can't protect against stray cats that decide they wanna go for a moonlight swim. Chris, I know you like animals, but what you did was dangerous. Were you hurt? Did either of the cats try to scratch you while you were trying to save them?
Y/n: (Whispered: I did consider it.)
Chris: Uh-uh. No scratches at all. I'm fine, Dad. Honest, I am. It really wasn't that big a deal. After I jumped in and got them out of the water they were really happy. Well, one of them at least one of them was, I could tell.
Chris's dad: Yeah, gotcha.
Chris: Besides, I could've had Grandpa, or Ella, or Mr. Tanaka to help me if I needed to. Don't worry, Dad. They're taking good care of me.
Chris's dad: Yeah, they better be. Listen, Chris, I've got an important meeting to run to. You call me anytime you need anything. And no more late night swims, promise?
Chris: Okay, Dad, I promise. See you soon.
He hung up the phone and Sonic shook his head in boredom.
Chris: I almost forgot, you two must be pretty hungry. I was thinking you two might like something to eat.
Y/n: I guess I could eat.
Sonic: Me too. What's on the menu?
Chris: I checked out hedgehogs on the internet and found the perfect thing.
He held out a bowl of some kind of food and as both Sonic and Y/n took a piece and ate it they didn't like it.
Sonic: Ugh, what is this?
Chris: Cat food.
Sonic: Ugh, no wonder. It tastes like there's cat in it.
Chris: The Web site I went to said most hedgehogs love cat food. I guess that doesn't go for all hedgehogs. I can get you both a bowl of crickets.
Y/n smacked the bowl out of Chris's hand.
Y/n: There is no way I'm going to eat any of that.
Sonic jumped.
Chris: No! Please don't run away.
Sonic: Sorry, kid, but crickets don't do it for me.
Chris: I'll get whatever you want, but just don't go!
Sonic: Ha, See ya.
He jumped off again.
Chris: Come back! Sonic! You could get hurt out there!
Y/n started to walk away.
Chris: Y/n, wait! I'll get you any type of food you want, just please stay.
Y/n stopped and thought for a moment.
Y/n: You got any fruit?
Chris smiled.
Y/n, Sonic, and Chris were sitting on a couch while watching the news on Chris's TV and Y/n was eating a bowl of fruit and the news talk about two certain Hedgehogs.
Y/n: Calling me a freak? They chased me for no reason.
Sonic: Yeah, but it was fun to see them try to catch us.
Y/n: (sigh) What are you even doing here? I thought you went to go get a life or something.
Sonic: Hey, I couldn't just leave my two new friends hanging.
Y/n: All right, let's just get one thing cleared up now. You and I are not friends.
He pushed the bowl to Sonic.
Y/n: If you're hungry there's a few good fruits in there.
Sonic: So, I'm not your friend, but you'll spare me a few of your fruits?
Y/n: There's a lot in there and I don't like it when things go to waste. You can have one too, Christopher.
Sonic and Chris each took a fruit and an old man wearing a lab coat over a green sweater opened the door and walked over to Chris with a huge smile on his face.
Old man: There you are. Guess what? Two big, blue hedgehogs came out of nowhere and outran the S team yesterday. (frown) Although, one of them didn't make it.
Sonic: Oh gee. I wonder how that happened.
The old man look at Sonic and Y/n and Chris covered the hedgehogs up with a pillow.
Sonic: Hey, cut it out! I can't breathe!
Y/n grabbed the pillow and ripped it up.
Y/n: Feel lucky that it wasn't your head, kid.
The old man took a better look at the hedgehogs.
Old man: Blue, just like those...
The old man gasped and grabbed Sonic.
Old man: It's him!
Chris: Easy, Grandpa!
Chris's Grandfather got out a screw driver.
Chris: Grandpa, what are you doing?!
Chris's Grandpa: I have to see how this thing is put together.
He turns to Y/n with a serious look.
Chris's Grandpa: And as for you. First you kill an S team officer, and now you think you can come here and threaten my grandson.
Chris: Wait, that was you, Y/n?!
Y/n: That S team just chased me for no reason and were gonna kill me if they caught me.
Chris: What?
Chris's Grandpa: They weren't going to kill you!
Y/n: Then what were they gonna do!?
Chris's Grandpa: They were gonna take you some containment facility and do test on you!
Y/n: Well, that's even worst then killing me!
Chris's Grandpa: And why's that?!
Y/n: Because no one locks me up.
Chris's Grandpa: Well, we'll see if you still say that after I lock you up and search your memory bank!
Y/n: Oh (right bracelet extends into a blade) I would love to see you try!
Sonic: Alright you two, calm down.
Chris: Yeah, and they're not machines, Grandpa. They're Sonic and Y/n the Hedgehogs.
Chris's Grandfather dropped the screw driver and Y/n turned his blade back to normal.
TV News Reporter: Now let's go live to this late-breaking story.
Cream: (whimpering) Please.
Sonic turned to the TV and saw Cream and that alien thing she was holding on a billboard with a bunch of fire men trying to get them down.
Cream: Please leave us alone.
Sonic: It's Cream and Cheese.
Chris: It's who?
Y/n: A Chao got here too?
Chris's Grandpa: A what?
Sonic: We're not the only ones who got transported into this weird world after all, Y/n. I'll save those two.
He ran out of the house.
Chris: Do you know where they are?!
Sonic ran through a bush before he stopped and ran back to Chris and he shrugged his shoulders with an "I don't know" face.
Y/n: You truly are an idiot, Sonic. I mean, who runs off without a plan?
Later.
The four of them were in a garage with Chris's Grandfather on the phone with someone.
Chris's Grandpa: I thought they'd probably do something along those lines. Well, thanks very much for giving me the scoop, and I'll talk to you soon.
He hangs up the phone.
Chris's Grandpa: Well, it seems Sonic's friends have been captured by the police and moved to Area 99.
Chris: Area 99?
Y/n: What is that place?
Chris: It's a top secret military base. It's where the National Defense Force keeps all their tanks, fighter jets, and high-tech spy equipment.
Y/n: High-tech you say?
Chris's Grandpa: That's right, and Sonic's friends have been taken by the army and placed them under 24-hour garde.
Y/n: But what does a child and her Chao have to do with spy equipment and all those other things?
Chris's Grandpa: The authorities believe that they could be aliens, or perhaps a member of a mutant species developed by an enemy power designed to attack our population. I wonder if there not right, Sonic and Y/n, eh?
Y/n: Those freaks can think what ever they want, but as far as I'm concerned that rabbit wouldn't hurt a fly.
Sonic: I'm gone. Now that I know where my friends are, I'm outta here.
Chris: But if you show up at Area 99, they'll lock you up, too.
Y/n: Then I guess I'll go with him.
Chris: What?
Sonic: So, what was that about us not being friends?
Y/n: Now you listen here, I'm not going with you to help you or that girl, I'm going there to see if I can get my hands on some of that high-tech spy equipment.
Chris's Grandpa: And why do you want the tech?
Y/n: Well, I would like to know more about this world, and a piece of technology from here might help me with that.
Chris: But what if you two get caught.
Y/n: I believe I stated earlier that no one locks me up.
The garage door shut in their face.
Sonic: Open that door!
Chris: Don't look at me, I didn't do it.
Chris's Grandpa: Ha, it was me. Guess I'm the first to lock you up, huh Y/n?
Y/n: Don't flatter yourself.
He got out bracelet blade and slashed the door open and that shocked everyone.
Y/n: I told you, no one locks me up.
He retracted his blade and walked out, that's when Chris's Grandfather ran to him.
Chris's Grandpa: Wait!
He stood in Y/n's way.
Y/n: Move now, or I'll make you.
Chris's Grandpa: Look, just give me two minutes of your time and I'll never ask you for anything again.
Y/n: (sigh) Two minutes, and that's all, and it starts now.
Chuck: Great. Look, I think we got off on the wrong foot, let's start over. Hi, I'm Chuck Thorndyke.
Y/n: Y/n the Hedgehog. Now, what do you want?
Chuck: You and Sonic are gonna need some help. I'll go with you.
Chris: Grandpa, are you serious?
Y/n: Listen to your Grandson. This will be a risky mission, and no one will protect you.
Chuck: I know, but I would still like to help you both, and if you let me help I'll let you have access to some of my technology.
Y/n: You have pieces technology with you?
Chuck: Yeah, and lots of it.
Y/n: Okay, deal.
They both shook hands.
Chuck: And Chris is coming along, too.
Y/n: Sure. Whatever, but if I find out you're lying to me, I'll make sure you never walk again.
Chuck: Okay, thanks for the warning.
Chris: Well, if Grandpa's up for it, I'm up for it. Just don't tell Dad.
Y/n: Just try not to get in my way, you got it?
The three of them: Got it.
45 minutes later.
The gang was in a red car driving through a desert.
Sonic: It's going to take forever to get there. I'd rather just go in there with Y/n.
Chuck: Chill out.
Y/n: Don't tell me to "chill out".
Chris: Is it time?
Chuck: It's time.
Y/n: Time for what?
Chris gave the Hedgehogs each a pair of head sets.
Chris: Put it on.
Sonic: What are these?
Chuck: Their infrared scopes.
Y/n: Oh so, you think that Area 99 will be full of infrared motion detectors that set off security alarms, and you want me and Sonic to use these to help avoid them.
Chuck: Wow, you catch on quick.
They both put on their infrared scopes and they got out of the car and then ran to Area 99. After awhile Chris talk through the radio.
Chris: (over radio: Sonic, Y/n, can you hear me?)
Sonic/Y/n: (running) Yeah/Loud and clear.
Chris: (over radio: Remember, when you two get to the main building, go in through an air vent. That should be a blind spot for security. Got it?)
Sonic: (running) Got it.
Y/n: (running) And remember, once we get inside you go find the brat while I go find a piece of technology.
Sonic: (running) Okay, whatever you say.
Chuck: (over radio: Don't forget, once you two get inside you won't have much time. So, you need to think quickly and act quickly.)
Sonic: (running) Thanks for the tip. We're going in.
They jumped over the fence and quickly ran into an air vent.
Sonic: We're inside the air vent.
Chris: (over radio: Be careful.)
Sonic stopped sliding.
Sonic: It feels like I have skid marks on my butt.
Y/n kicked Sonic's butt before he stopped sliding.
Sonic: Now I feel like I have bruises on it.
Y/n: Well, this is where we part ways.
Sonic: Okay, good luck.
He used his bracelet blade to cut a hole through the vent and used it to get out then he ran through the base avoiding the security cams until it came to a door.
Y/n: That has to be where they're keeping this high-tech spy equipment.
Someone walked out and Y/n took this opportunity to get inside and he saw both a laser gun and a pair of goggles.
Y/n: This technology doesn't look nearly as good as anything my Father could've made, but I guess it will have to do.
As he got closer his infrared scope detect the motion sensors all around the technology.
Y/n: Should've known it wouldn't be this easy.
Suddenly, the power went out and so did the infrared motion sensors.
Y/n: If this is a power outage, it couldn't have happened at a better time.
He grabbed the goggles and gun and quickly ran out of there and that's when the power came back on and five scientist stood in front of Y/n.
Scientist 1: It's another mutant.
Scientist 2: Yeah, and it's that one from the news!
Scientist 3: Come on, let's get him!
Y/n: Oh so, it's a fight you want, huh?
Both his bracelets extended into blades.
Y/n: Fine by me.
He rushed at them and slashed through three of them while the other two were severely injured. He kept running until he saw Sonic with Cream and Cheese.
Cream: Hey, you're that hedgehog from last night.
Cheese: Chao, chao.
Y/n: It seems your mission went just as well as mine.
Sonic: Yeah.
Cream: Are you the one who turned the power off?
Y/n: No, I thought it was just some type of power outage.
Sonic: We can talk about this later. Right now we need to get out of here.
Lasers started shooting at them.
Y/n: Looks like those scientist aren't the only welcome party here.
Y/n's left bracelet blade turned into a shield.
Y/n: Let's go!
Y/n ran off and Sonic ran while holding Cream's hand.
Sonic: (running) You're just full of surprises, aren't you?
Y/n: (running) Just shut up and run!
Sonic: (running) Don't have to tell me twice.
Y/n's shield blocked the lasers and he used his blade to destroy them.
Cream: (running) That's incredible! Where did you get those bracelets?
Y/n: (running) None of your business, that's where.
Cream: (running) That's not very nice, Y/n.
Y/n: (running) It's funny how you think I care.
Chris: (over radio: Sonic, Y/n, what's going on? Are you two and the others all right?)
Sonic: (running) Not exactly.
Sonic let go of Cream.
Cream: (running) Sonic!
Sonic: (running) Keep running!
Sonic got on top of a laser camera and used it to shot the others.
Cream: Wow.
A laser was about to hit Cream.
Sonic: Watch out!
Y/n stepped in front of Cream and blocked the laser with his shield.
Cream: You-
Y/n: Let's go!
He picked her up and started to run off with her while Sonic saw this and smiled.
Sonic: Guess he does have a heart after all.
He ran after them and when they get to the next room lasers started to shoot at them so they started running again. Y/n noticed some small paper airplanes.
Y/n: (Thinking: What were those?)
The lasers suddenly went out of control and started shooting everything. Sonic, Cream, Cheese, and Y/n made it to a stairway and Y/n was still holding Cream.
Sonic: That was close. Is everyone okay?
Cream: Yeah, and you can put me down now, Y/n.
Y/n: Oh, right.
He put Cream down and the lasers cut the upside and the down side of the stairway leaving the gang in the middle.
Cream: Oh no, what are we gonna do?!
Sonic: Hang on!
Sonic grabbed Cream and both him and Y/n jumped to the top.
Sonic: See, I told you we'd make it out. You didn't doubt me did you?
Cream: Uh-uh. Thank you both for saving us.
Y/n: I never saved you. I just came here for some technology here.
Sonic: Oh really? You block a laser from hitting her and you carried her to safety. That sure sounds like saving to me.
Y/n heard the sound of a plane.
Y/n: Do either of you hear that?
Sonic: Yeah, it sounds like a plane. The Tornado!
Y/n slashed a wall and saw Tails in his plane and the four jumped on it.
Tails: Hey, guys. Who's your new friend?
Y/n: Friend? Don't have any of those, and I certainly wouldn't be friends with that idiot.
Tails: Oh, this is going to be fun.
45 minutes later.
They were all in Chuck's garage.
Chris: My name's Christopher. Sonic and Y/n landed in our swimming pool, but Y/n was the only one who could get out while Sonic needed my help.
Tails: So, you're name's Y/n?
Y/n nodded his head while leaning on the Tornado.
Tails: Well, my name's Tails.
Y/n: I don't care.
Tails: Okay, wow. Now I understand why you don't have any friends.
Cream: My name is Cream, and this is my very special Chao friend Cheese.
Y/n: I believe I said "I don't care".
Cream: Now you need to apologize right now!
Y/n: Or what? You'll yell at me? I'm so scared.
Sonic: Come on, Y/n. Don't be mean.
Chris: Anyways it's nice to meet all of you. I have a feeling we're all gonna become really good friends.
Y/n: Yeah, like that would ever happened.
Chuck: Extraordinary. Tiny radio-controlled airplanes.
Y/n: I saw something like that back when we were escaping area 99. I also got these two things.
He pulled out the gun and goggles.
Chuck: It seems you've got a laser gun and a pair of night vision goggles.
Y/n: They sound like they could come in handy, and I have a feeling you made those airplanes, Tails was it?
Tails: Oh, so now you care?
Chuck: Come on, don't start that.
Chris: Listen, Sonic and Y/n. This isn't some game we're playing, you know. You both could've gotten us all thrown in jail.
Sonic: We could've, but we didn't, did we?
Y/n hit Sonic in the head.
Sonic: Ow! What was that for?!
Y/n: You can't get to cocky because that's when you definitely lose.
Chuck: Say, what world do you come from?
Tails: Beats me. But I think we got here through a warp in time and space.
Y/n: There's no doubt that it was Chaos Control.
Chuck: Hmm, very interesting. Not very helpful, but interesting.
Tails: I just thought of something. If you me Cream Cheese and this jerk are here, maybe the others got here, too.
Sonic: You might be right about that, Tails.
Y/n: Great, even more idiots might be here.
Cream: Hey, I'm not going to let you talk about our friends like that, Y/n!
Cheese: Chao, chao!
Y/n: I will talk about your friends any way I want.
Sonic: Wait, let me finish. If Tails is right, that means, maybe...
Sonic/Cream/Tails/Y/n: Eggman's here too!
Y/n: Yeah, he needs a better name.

Eggman's base was on an island.
Eggman: So, we were transported into this world by Chaos Control. Very well then. I'll rebuild the foundation of the Eggman Empire here, and soon I'll rule the entire universe.
He laughed maniacally but then felt a chill down his spine.
Robot: What is it, Dr?
Eggman: I feel like I was just insulted at some extent.
