Chapter 3

Tris POV
Today is the day I choose my job(s) , I already know my apartment is with Tobias so I don't need to worry about that. "Morning sleeping beauty". tobias says."Good morning Cinderella". I laugh. "Cinderella"? Tobias questions with raised eyebrows. "Well you called me Sleeping beauty and she's a princess, so I wanted to return the compliment and call you a princess". I laugh. "Wow just wow. that's low even for you"! Tobias yells/Laughs. "Ok I'm gonna go now". I say and get up to go to the shower. I hate showering ever since Peter shoved me in a corner and ripped the towel off of me leaving me naked in front of the initiates. I shower quickly. When I'm out I wrap the towel around me and my memory fades back into my mind. I try to walk out of the bathroom but the memory is to much for me, I fall and cry. the towel is slipping off me I can't stop crying. Tobias runs in and holds me. "Tris tris what's wrong"?! He asks. "Peter, initiation". I stutter out. "Tris tell me". by now I'm sobbing my towel and fled from my shoulders."well during initiation I was walking out from a shower, with only a towel around me I was walking to get some clothe when Peter pinned me against the wall and took the towel off me". I cry. "Oh tris I'm so sorry I should've helped you"."No no you didn't even like me then and I wouldn't have expected you to anyway". I say and he run into his room and comes back with a blanket, he, wraps me into it and cradles me."You ok tris"? Tobias asks. "I'm fine I'll go get ready". "Ok be safe". "I will". I walk into his- our room. I choose a black tank top, black high wasted skinny jeans and my black combat boots. I change quickly and brush my hair I put it in a high pony tail. Me and Tobias head out the door into the pit where Eric makes a speech about jobs and stuff I don't care about until I hear "Tris Prior come up and choose your job". I walk up there is a screen that I tap to choose my job. I breathe in and choose Tattoo parlor and Initiate instructor. With that everyone claps, I smile. "Which apartment will you choose"? Asks Eric. "I'm sharing one with Four". I whisper into his ear."Ok" is all he says and gives me a key. Everyone claps and cheers. I walk up to Tobias who has a huge grin on his face. "We get to work together"! He whispered excitedly into my ear I chuckle. Everyone chooses there job it goes

The rest I don't care about. All I know is me and Tobias train Transfers Zeke and Chris train Dauntless Born initiates. Me and Tobias head home. I decide to change into comfy clothes. Tobias comes up with me to watch me I dunno why but whatever. I start changing and I wince as I take off my shirt my cuts and bruises from initiation hurt really bad."Oh my god tris!! What the hell is this"? Tobias yells."Initiation wounds". I mutter."Who did this to you"? He asks. "Peter,Molly,Eric,Al and um you". I mumble the last part hopefully he didn't hear me but by the looks of his face he did."I hurt you"? "It was when we fought and when we were punching and kicking I kinda got hurt". "Tris I'm so sorry I'll help you clean them up just a sec". I nod and he runs out, he comes back a second later with a First Aid- Kit.He sits me down and cleans my cuts first I wince and grab his hand by instinct. "S-sorry". I stutter."You don't need to apologize". he says not looking at my eyes. He starts to take off my pants to mend to those wounds. "Is this,ok"? Tobias questions.I nod slowly, he takes off my pants and he cleans my cuts,one of them is really bad it's from Al when he tried to throw me off the chasm. I shiver at the sight of him. "This one will have to get stitched up". "K, that's fine". I say quickly. He slowly stitches it up I wince in pain I feel tears coming. No tris stop stop it this instant! I think to myself, No tears be strong, be brave, be six.Before. I realize it Tobias is done."Im really sorry tris". Tobias says crying."Hey hey it's ok I'm fine really I am"! I coo. "I knew it I'm just like Marcus"! "No baby not at all he's a horrible man, your a great man whom I love very very much, and will never hurt me on purpose".I say, he could never be Marcus that man is a bastard a selfish good for nothing bastard and he makes my Tobias fell this way ugh I hate him I really do! "Tris please never leave me". Tobias says still crying a little. "Ill never leave you, I love you.". "Forever"? "And always".
