Draco and Vienna found a small restaurant after they found their ball attire. It was an old-looking restaurant. Decorated like an old Victorian-style pub. Dark red and browns coated the walls and dark wooden tables spread around the restaurant, every chair was unique, some were plain wood and some had patterned fabric on them. Rugs covered the floor, but the dark wood flooring peeked out in between them. Paintings and photo frames decorated the walls, which Vienna couldn't help but admire as they walked in.

An old woman came over with menus and gave them both a warm tea. They felt the warm fire from a nearby fireplace, even though they were sitting in a corner, the warmth still reached them. The bags of Vienna's dress and Draco's suit were hung over a chair near them. Draco relaxed back in the seat, his tall figure too big to be lounged in a small wooden chair, causing his knees to occasionally brush against Vienna's legs.

They were quiet. Only the sound of the crackling fire and other people talking could be heard. That was until Vienna felt the need to start a conversation.

"Victoria mentioned your family" Draco's bored statue shot awake when he heard Vienna's words. He almost looked scared.

"And what exactly did she mention?" Draco asked, sitting up in his chair and resting his arms on the table.

"Only that your families are friends," Vienna said, which was true but Vienna didn't want to mention Draco's mother. She herself has lost her mother and she knows what it's like when people ask or talk about it. So Vienna didn't mention that part. Vienna also didn't mention Victoria's warning.

"Oh come on" Draco groaned, "Victoria can speak for England. I know she said more. Tell me what more she said" although Draco never mentioned a threat, his tone sure sounded like he was threatening her.

"She told me—" Vienna stopped talking when the old waitress come back over with their meals. Vienna shifted uncomfortably and wiped her nose with her knuckles. They both thanked the women and only when she left did Vienna speak.

"She told me your mother died," Vienna told him.

Draco's features didn't move. Which was annoying, Vienna couldn't tell what he was thinking, "Did she say how?" Draco asked as he began eating the food from his plate.

"Yes," Vienna said.

Draco looked up, waiting for Vienna to continue.

"She fell down the stairs," Vienna responded but it sounded like she was asking if it was true.

Draco couldn't help but chuckle as he looked away, shaking his head.

"Is that not what happened?" Vienna questioned.

"I don't know what happened," Draco answered honestly.

"I came home for Christmas in fifth year and she was dead. Had been dead for two months. Lucius told me that she'd fallen down the stairs but still, he never wrote to let me know." Vienna noticed that Draco called him Lucius, "and the best part is that he'd already buried her. She didn't have a funeral. Nothing. The last time I saw her was when I left for Hogwarts in September and the next time I saw her was at her grave"

Vienna felt incredibly bad for him. Vienna got to say goodbye to her mother and she couldn't imagine not knowing that she'd died.

"I never got to say goodbye" Draco added. He didn't look sad, more angry.

"Draco—I'm sorry," Vienna told him.

"What do you have to be sorry for?" Draco asked but never let Vienna answer, "I need some air"

He was up and out of his seat before Vienna could say anymore. Leaving her all alone to think about what she had just learned. It was clear that Draco didn't believe the cause of his Mothers death. Vienna wondered how she died, who killed her. Although she had a good idea who.

Vienna stepped outside the restaurant holding both clothing bags, which were very heavy for Vienna's small build to hold but she managed. Draco was outside, a cigarette between his lips.

"C'mon," Vienna said, "I want to show you something"

Vienna has never taken anyone here before. Even she barely gets to visit. But she thought this was a good opportunity to do so. The sun was setting, only a few minutes of daylight left but that didn't matter. Draco had taken the bags from Vienna as they walked. He wasn't sure where Vienna was taking him but he followed anyway.

And only when they entered a graveyard did Draco speak.

"What are we doing here?" he sounded worried.

"I want to show you something," Vienna told him, walking ahead. Draco followed under the moonlight and grey clouds above.

Vienna stopped walking when she reached a grave. And not just any grave. Her mothers grave. The stone of the grave was chipped and covered in moss and dirt, although small Daisy's lay at the bottom. The wording on the grave was decayed but the words "Lilith Ezriel" could still be read. Those are the only words on the grave. Her sweet mother deserved more than that.

Draco read the words and soon realised where he was standing. He looked at Vienna but she looked happier than he's ever seen her before.

"I barely get to come here" Vienna started when she stepped forward, kneeling in front of the gravestone, wiping away the moss and dirt with only her bare hands. "I've also never taken anyone here before"

"Really?" Draco asked, a smile on his lips as he tried to figure out why he is the one she took here.

"Yeah, I don't like talking about my family," Vienna told him, "only Natalie knows but that's not by my choosing"

"Yes, Natalie did mention your mother died," Draco said, "I'm sorry I never said anything but I figured you wouldn't like talking about it. I don't"

"No, I don't" Vienna admitted, "my mother was kind and so caring. She died when I was three of a sickness. She was ill for weeks before she died. But I remember her like she is still here"

Vienna just stared at her mothers grave. Thinking out loud.

"I don't have many happy memories from when I was a child so I remember the small amount very well" her words made Draco question more. He knew her father was not a good man, by all the information he gathered, but he doesn't know what he does to her.

"I'm sorry about your mother" Vienna turned around and told Draco.

Now he moved to be by her side, "I am too"

They both stayed there for a while, just looking at the gravestone. Vienna cleared the remaining dirt and years of grime that had built up. Draco thought of walking around, picking flowers from the ground. They both collected the most beautiful flowers in the long grass and then placed them on her grave.

It was funny because neither of them ever pictured that they'd be picking flowers together.

"Thank you," Vienna smiled, "I think she would have liked you"

Draco laughed, "I'm not too sure about that but I'd like to think so"

"She would have—" she stopped talking, froze suddenly as she looked into the distance. She saw a man stepping out of a large black car, adjusting the collar of his coat.

"No. No. No. No" she repeated in a quiet whisper.

"What?" Draco followed her eye direction and saw a man.

"Who is that?" Draco asked.

"No. What is he doing here?" Vienna couldn't believe what she was seeing.

"Who is that?" Draco said louder, stepping in front of Vienna.

"My father" she responded and Draco eyes grew in surprise and turned around to see the man walking toward them but it was so dark that the man wouldn't be able to see them. He couldn't help but wonder if he was finally going to see what type of man her father is.

"We have to go," Vienna said as she grabbed Draco's arm and pulled him away in the opposite direction.

She could see stars as she walked. Her breathing quickened and her breaths came out rigid. Vienna had no idea where she was going but Draco realised that she wanted nothing more than to leave, but it was a dead end. So he now grabbed her arm and pulled her behind a tree.

He grabbed her shoulder and pressed her against a tree as he stood close in front of her. He peered around and saw her father standing in front of her mothers grave. He looked down at Vienna to see she had tears in her extremely fearful eyes.

As Draco adjusted his step he felt a stick snap beneath his foot. Vienna looked up at his eyes with double the amount of fear. He's never seen her scared. He didn't think she got scared. So if her father is the only one who can make her scared he has to be bad. He wondered how bad.

"Whos there" a deep voice echoed in the night.

Draco thought quickly as he took his black hoodie off, revealing his defined abbs and as frightened as Vienna was, she couldn't help but look down at them. Draco noticed, a smirk on his lips as he gave Vienna his hoodie.

"I know you're there" the voice sounded again, "come out"

"Put this on and put the hood up" Draco told her.

"Draco?" she said panicked but he walked out before she could say anymore.

She was pissed at him. She was so annoyed for leaving her there like this but her fear made her do as he said.

"Hey there," Draco announced in an unfamiliar tone as he stepped out.

"What are you doing boy?" the man asked, Draco saw he was tall, black hair like Vienna's and sharp jaw and cheekbones also just like Vienna's, as well as a beard, "and where is your shirt?"

Draco laughed, Vienna struggling to think what on earth he is doing while she pulled the hood up over her head, it was so big the hood covered half her face. "It's kinda embarrassing actually"

"Tell me. What are you doing in a graveyard with no shirt?" he asked, his voice louder and deeper. It was clear he had little patience.

"I'm here with my girlfriend," Draco said as he stepped back toward the tree, "but we will be leaving now"

"Typical fucking teenagers" he sighed, "leave now before I call the police"

Draco made eye contact with Vienna as he held out his hand, gesturing that he wanted her to leave with him. She shook her head.

"Trust me" Draco insisted, this was the only way they could leave. Draco wasn't sure why she was so scared of him but now isn't the time to as questions, "I won't let him do anything to you!"

Draco pushed his hand more toward her and she took it, stepping out from the tree and walking with Draco. Her father looked up from the grave and straight at Vienna. She gripped his hand tight. So tight that Draco had to tense his body from the pain. But the pain was worth it.

Vienna was so scared that her father would recognise her but with the darkness of the night and Draco's large hoodie, there was no telling who she was.

"Find a bed next time" her father shook his head, "have some respect for yourself"

"Yes. Yes. I apologise" Draco said as they passed him. Even at the smell of her father, Vienna wanted to scream and run.

Finally, they were out of sight of her father. Vienna let go of Draco's hand to reveal bruises. She apologised. As much as Draco wanted to question Vienna he decided not to. Instead, they got on the train, back to Hogwarts.
