The babies follow after in the screams but theirs are more of being disturbed in their sleep but the screams of pain and agony are coming from my big brother down stairs. I fall off the bed but quickly pick myself back up and run out of the room as fast as I can. So basically I'm in the livingroom at my brothers side in seconds.
"Darwin, what's wrong?" I ask. He closes his mouth then clutches my shirt tightly.
"Siva, I love you," he says. I feel my heart breaking.
"What? What's that for?" I ask.
"It feels like there's glass in my stomach and its forcing its way out!" he screams. He coughs and blood splatters my face. I quickly wipe my face.
"Cecile, call my da, please," I say to her. She stairs at her screaming mate, horror struck. "Cecile!" I shout. She shakes her head and looks at me. "Call my da, now." She nods and quickly gets up and runs into the kitchen. "Darwin," I say, catching his attention. He starts breathing hard but still looks at me. "Breath, deep breaths," I say. He nods and tries then shakes his head.
"I can't," he says.
"Yes, you can. Just deep breaths until da gets here, okay?" He nods and goes along with it, doing as I say.
"He's on his way," Cecile says as she walks back in the room. She sits next to Darwin and runs her fingers through his hair soothingly. His chest still moves up and down in big heaves and I can hear him weezing slightly.
"What happened?" Shawn asks, walking into the room with a squirming Lucien. She comes over to me and hands him over. Unfortunately he doesn't stop squirming. I take Shawn into the kitchen and sit down at a chair at the dinning table. I sigh and begin bouncing Lucien on my knee and he giggles uncontrollably. "Whats wrong?" Shawn asks again.
"I don't know," I say, my voice cracking a bit. I clear my throat. "He says it feels like there's glass in his stomach trying to come out," I choke out.
"Siva, calm down," Shawn says, putting a hand on my back.
"Shawn he told me he loves me. He's scared, too. We have no idea what's going on and I don't think I can handle losing him again," I say. A tear runs down my face and I quickly wipe it away. "I mean look what I did last time." I show her the scars on my right arm and she takes it in her hands gently.
"Siva, it's okay," she says in her usually quiet voice. She takes Lucien from my hands and sits on my lap with him in her arms. She puts a hand under my chin and makes me look into her sympathetic green eyes. "It's gonna be okay, I promise," she whispers and gives me a quick kiss on the lips.
I hear the door bell ring and Chimy starts barking. We go into the living room and Shawn grabs the dog as I open the door. Da has a serious yet worried look on his face. "What's wrong with Darwin?" he asks. I open the door wider and step back so he can see the whimpering man on his couch. Cecile is sat on the ground with Darwin laying on the couch. "Oh God." He walks in and goes over to Darwin. Darwin has his eyes shut really tight and I can see him clenching and unclenching his jaw.
I stay quiet and away from everyone so I don't get in the way. Da puts a hand on Darwins stomach and Darwin lets out whimpers of pain as he squirms a bit. I cringe at the sight then my da takes his hand away quickly.
"Siva, I need your help," Da says. I quickly walk over. He grabs my wrist and pulls me down. "Just put your hand on his stomach, the source of this pain," he says. I shake my head and quickly pull my wrist back.
"No, I don't want to put him in more pain," I say quickly.
"Siva, it'll help him get out of this pain. Just do it," he says. I nod and put my hand on his stomach. A dull ache begins to fill mine as well but I hold back the groan. "Close your eyes and tell me what you see." I do as told and take a breath.
I gasp when I see glowing red eyes. I try and pull back but I can't move. Raphael gives me a sickly sweet smile then reaches out, his hand goes straight through my chest and he clutches my heart. I choke as he squeezes just enough to make it skip a beat.
"Now listen," he growls. I feel blood start to dribble from my mouth a little and a squeak leaves my mouth. He begins talking to me and I absorb every single word of it.
Then he releases me and I'm thrown back into the real world with a bang as I crash against the wall. I fall to the ground, clutching my chest. Shawn croutches next to me.
"Siva, what did you see?" Da asks me, offering a hand. I grab it and he helps me up.
"I-I know where Raphael is," I croak, my voice slightly hoarse. "I need water," I say. Shawn nods and goes into the kitchen. A second later she comes back with a glass of water and I chug it down. "Thank you," I say.
"What happened?" she asks.
"I saw Raphael. I tried to get away but he grabbed my heart," I say. Shawn's eyes go wide. Then realization hits me. "Shit," I say before running out the front door.
"Siva, where are you going?" Shawn asks. I shift in the yard, not caring about my surrounding or clothes. I run down the street with my tail whipping behind me. I have my ears pulled back and my hackles raised, making me look terrifying.
A blonde wolf appears on my left and a black one on my right. I stop in my tracks and Shawn almost runs into me. "You need to stay with the kids and Darwin, and make sure Cecile is okay," I bark at her. She nods and runs back to the house. "Da, you will be replacement beta for now," I say. He nods and we run again. At one point our meta, or third in command or he could also be considered a werewolf general, joins us and my dad and him flank me.
We run to the pack house and I shift as I walk in the door, not caring that I'm naked. "Mum!" I bark, my insides still changing. She comes out of the kitchen, her eyes go wide and she quickly covers them.
"Siva, put some clothes on!"
"I don't care! Our pack is under attack! I need you to go with the general and get the militia men and hunters! We need everyone!" I snap. She nods and quickly leaves the room. I turn to my da after listening for a second to my mum's howls. "Come with me. We have a meeting," I say. He nods and we go into the back yard, shifting. We leave the gate and I lead my father to the clearing Raphael was talking about and at one point our soldiers join us. Though they are very well hidden and they creep around the area as I commanded. General and Da flank me with my mum trailing behind us slightly in her white, purple tinted wolf.
I walk up to see a red wolf with glowing red eyes. It's scary how much we look alike now in our wolves. I let out a loud growl, almost a roar, as my hackles raise impossibly higher and my jowls lift, showing off my white fangs.
"No need for that," he snaps at me. I snap back with a bark but he has no reaction. "I just need to talk. About your brother." I snap my mouth shut and I go silent.
"What did you do to him!"
"Oh nothing, just highered a sorcerer. You know what, he needs an apprentice and I bet, that son of yours, Snow is it? He'd be perfect," he says, his English accent coming out.
"Don't you touch him!" I bark, tackling him. Suddenly there's a wolf on me, dragging me away with impossible force and I quickly realize it's my father. "I swear if you touch him or anyone in my pack I will rip your head off and feed it to the turned ones! Then let your body run in circles, head less like a chicken for the rest of your, fucking, life!"
"Siva, stop," Da tells me. I growl but stop the threat and pull out of his grip.
"Fiesty now, aren't we? Now, lets get this started. I came here to make a deal with you," he says. I circle him slowly to make sure he doesn't try anything. "I think you know this already, but you are a very special wolf," he says. I roll my eyes. Haven't heard this a billion times. "And you have special abilities and things you aren't even aware of yet. But I am aware. Because we are the same, Siva. We are exactly the same." I snap at his tail when he says that.
"We are nothing alike. Looks mean nothing," I bark.
"Ah, but yes, this is where you are wrong. I know what you are going through. The strange visions. The migraines. I wen't through all that as well. But I did it alone. And I am jealous. I had no mate. I was an outcast by the time I was thirteen!" he barks. I stop and look him in the eye.
"The airport? That's why you attacked me at the airport?" I ask. He gives a shrug.
"But you see, during my first shift, a vampire found me. He bit me in the middle of transition and now, I am a hybrid. Which makes it even worse," he says.
"Get to the chase, Rumple Stiltskin," I growl.
"I want to turn you into a hybrid. And if not, your big brother is going to die," he says. I look back at my da. He looks serious. Then I see the horrified look on my mums face. I look back at ole Red Eyes. I nod once.
"I'll do it," I speak through the common link. He nods.
"Very well then."
"Siva, you can't do this," Da barks. I bark at him and growl out at the old man.
"I'm saving my brother." He takes a step back and his eyes fall to the ground. I look back at Raphael. "Let's get this done."
Raphael steps toward me and takes me by surprise and I end up tackled on the ground. He latches onto my throat and I let out a small yelp. I hear my da move. But I know he won't come over. Raphael drinks some of my blood then he shifts back and is surprisingly fully dressed. I don't understand that.
He bites his wrist and holds it to my mouth. I lick the warm tangy juice from his arm and he smiles giddily. My teeth begin to hurt. My body begins to shake and the world around me is spinning rapidly. My body shifts on its own to my human form and I let out a yell, it slowly turns to a scream. My back arches and I feel my biological make up changing. I somehow end up on my back with my entire fists dug into the dirt. Raphael smiles down at me. He steps on my chest. I groan and he bends down so he's inches from my face, my eyes going wide when I see the reflection of my eyes glowing red in his eyes. He smiles at me.
"This won't hurt a bit," he says, then he grabs either side of my face and theres a loud crack and everything goes dark.
