Y/N's POV
Our honeymoon has already been 2 months ago and that means I've been married to my lovely lady for 2 months. It still doesn't feel real, like it still hasn't sunken in yet that I married my first girlfriend. Oh my god, she's my high school sweetheart, how did I just realize this.
Anyway, Rosie and I have been living comfortably for that chunk of time. She's been working hard on new music and I've been doing wonders at work, at least that's what IU says to me. She actually gave me a raise when I came back to work which was very unexpected. But I mean, I'll take it obviously, it's money that I actually earned. Rosie was a little upset that I'm making more money now because she still had been trying to be my sugar mommy. I'm never gonna let that happen; not now and not ever.
"Hey babe?" I heard Rosie call for me from the guest bedroom. I walked out of our bedroom and over to where she and Hank were since he's always near her.
"Yes my love?" I asked her as I poked my head in to see what she needed. I saw she had her phone out and she was holding it up for me to see. I was too far away to read anything, so I entered the room and took her phone out of her hands. I saw that it was a text from none other than Miss Lalisa Manoban.
bestie: so u know the
plan right?
me: yeah ofc r we doing
it tomorrow?
bestie: yup! get y/n to help
and everything will be good
I read over the short conversation on screen and I'm still very confused as to what was happening. Rosie just giggled at my obvious confusion.
"We're going to help Lisa tomorrow with a thing."
"Wow, that's really helpful, thanks for telling me all the details." I said sarcastically as I walked back out of the room. I heard her follow after me as I went over to a cabinet and grabbed a bowl for some fruit.
"I'm not technically allowed to tell you what it is." She said from behind me as I opened the fridge and grabbed a watermelon to cut up. I got a cutting board out and responded to her,
"Okay." If I wasn't supposed to know, then I'm not supposed to know.
"Wait, what?"
"What?" I asked her as I cut the watermelon up. I stopped and looked over at her to see confusion written on her face now,
"Aren't you gonna keep asking me what it's about?"
"Nah, if I'm not supposed to know then I'll wait." I said as I popped a piece of watermelon in my mouth and hummed as it was actually really good. Next thing I know, the bowl is now taken away from me and my wife is holding it hostage, "Rosie, what the fuck?" I sighed at her.
"Bug me about what it is!"
"Why would I do that?" I asked her.
"Because, try!" She insisted. I know she wants to tell me, but she'll feel horrible if she told me just because. So that's why she wants me to bug her about it so she has an excuse.
"Alright," I saw her eyes light up, "can you give me my watermelon back?"
"Y/n!" She whined at me as she then took off running with my bowl. I just stood in the kitchen and watched as my wife stopped on the other side of our apartment. Hankie ran after her and sat down next to her. I know she wants me to go after her, so I just made my way to our bedroom as I heard her shout after me. I smiled to myself and flopped down on my stomach on our nice comfy bed.
But of course, I felt an elbow dig into my lower back as I yelped out in a little bit of pain. I turned my head a little to see my wife looking down at me angrily,
"Ask me about it." She demanded me. Is she kinda threatening right now? Yes, but I'm still not going to give in.
"Nope." I replied, popping the 'p'. I heard her scoff,
"Okay be like that. No sex for a week."
"Alright." I said casually. I sensed Rosie's immediate panic after that. She knows that she won't be able to survive a week without sex ever again.
"Lisa's proposing!" She screamed before covering her mouth. I looked at her and her eyes were wide and she was completely frozen. I guess she does crumble under pressure.
"Well then, let's make sure that Lisa doesn't fuck it up tomorrow, shall we?"
"I–okay." She said guiltily as she climbed off of me and handed me my bowl of watermelon back. I giggled at her and kissed her cheek,
"You're okay, love. I won't tell a soul."
"Okay."

"So, you're proposing." I said on the phone with Lisa later that night.
"She really couldn't keep her mouth shut?" I laughed at how defeated she sounded.
"Nope. She just told me and didn't even put up a fight; it was hilarious."
"I shouldn't have expected her to keep that secret from you in the first place."
"Yeah that was a bad move on your part." I told her as I scrolled through my photos I just uploaded onto my laptop.
"Whatever, it's behind us now. I need you to get your best camera for tomorrow and get all the angles of the proposal, got it?"
"Sir yes sir!" I joking said to her. I hear her laugh,
"Alright, thank you though for doing this. It means a lot to me and I know Nini will be happy you're gonna see her get proposed to."
"I wouldn't miss it for the world, Manoban. Oh that reminds me of something, who would take whose last name at the wedding?"
"I've thought about it and I think Jennie Manoban has a nice feel about it." Lisa said confidently.
"It does have a good feel to it." I said, agreeing with her.
"Well, I'm going to get going and make sure all the details are set for tomorrow. I'll text you and Rosie on when to show up."
"I'll be waiting. Everything will be fine and don't over think it, it'll make it worse."
"Thanks y/n, love ya."
"Love ya too Manoban. Now go!" I heard her giggle on the other side of the phone.
"See ya!"
"Bye!" I said before hanging up the phone. I heard Rosie walk into our bedroom,
"Who were you on the phone with?" She asked me as she went to charge her phone.
"Oh, well I just sent a message up to the space station that's orbiting earth, so everyone on the planet will know that Lisa's proposing." I said with a stupid smile. Rosie groaned out,
"I hate when you say stuff like that. Who were you actually on the phone with?"
"I was talking with the one and only Manoban, love. She isn't surprised you spilled without me even doing anything." I told my wife as she just sighed.
"You said you weren't gonna tell a soul."
"Yeah, a soul that doesn't already know." I said, clarifying what I said earlier.
"I hate you."
"Love you too."
"I'm going to bed now, so join me." Rosie said as she plopped down on the bed and opened her arms up for me.
"Ya see, that's a really tempting offer, but I–"
"Come to bed now and I'll fuck you in the morning."
"Damn, I am so tired I could fall asleep right now." I said with a dramatic yawn as I then frantically ran around the apartment turning off all the lights. I ran back into the bedroom and Rosie was just smiling at me. I smiled back at her and climbed into bed next to her.
"I wanna be big spoon tonight." She told me. So I then turned away from her and felt her body encase me lovingly.
"Night, love you." I whispered to her.
"Love you too, sweet dreams."

I love waking up to have sex with my gorgeous wife. We only went one round because we can't be sore or tired later today. But we still both felt damn good afterwards. I'm taking Hankie on a walk to the local bakery because we ran out of bread and I want some. Plus, I'll probably get some autumn baked goods from there since it is October.
I opened the door and the little wind chime sounded as the worker looked up and greeted me with a smile. They saw Hank and asked if they could give him a treat. I allowed them to and Hank was a good boy and patiently waited. I smiled at my dog and then got a fresh loft of bread and some freshly baked cookies that were in the shapes of pumpkins. It came out to be $20 and Hankie and I were on our way back home to Rosie.
"Oh wifey, I'm home!" I shouted through our apartment.
"In here!" I heard my wife respond from our bedroom still. God, she's still in bed? I must've done a good job this morning then. I entered the room and Hank jumped up on the bed and licked Rosie's face. I smiled at the sight,
"Hello love. I got us some bread and these cute pumpkin cookies from the bakery down the street." I said as I took off my jacket.
"Ooo, fun. Can you make breakfast?" She asked me as she batted her eyelashes. I rolled my eyes at her,
"What do you want?"
"Mm, I want some french toast!" I nodded my head and went back into the kitchen to make some french toast. I actually got the recipe from Ralph as a wedding gift, so I'll be making that today. I can't wait to see Rosie's reaction to it. I made sure to have the secret ingredient and soon I was plating two piece of french toast for my lazy wife.
"Your french toast m'lady." I said as I handed her plate over to her. She gave me a kiss as a thank you and I went back to the kitchen to make mine. After about like 10 seconds, my wife screamed for me.
"Y/N!" I smiled to myself as I know what this was about. I made my way to our bedroom and leaned against the doorway.
"Yes love?" She just looked at me awe struck.
"How did you– these are Ralph's." I winked at her,
"A master chef never reveals their secrets." I then walked back out and finally made my two pieces. I just ate at the bar top and saw Rosie run out of the bedroom after a few minutes.
"Can I have another piece?" I chuckled and nodded my head,
"Yes you can, hold on." I got another piece of bread and made her another one. Rosie was staring at me making it and I know her mouth was watering the whole time. She held her plate out when it was done and I placed it on the plate for her. She pecked my lips and I tasted syrup, making me smile.
So breakfast was a big success thankfully. Rosie and I then really lounged around for the rest of the morning and early afternoon. She wanted a sandwich from the local deli, so I once again got my jacket on and walked for about 10 minutes to the deli. I greeted the deli cat that lays around and got Rosie her usual. I paid the owner and walked on back home to see Rosie and Hankie snuggled up together on the couch. I brought over Rosie's sandwich and I sat down on the chair next to the couch as I ate mine.
As we were watching some Animal Planet, Rosie's phone dinged and she looked at it and smiled,
"Lisa said we can get going now."
"Where are we even going?" I asked my wife as she just got up and threw away her trash before grabbing my camera for me.
"Don't worry about it, I'm driving."
"Great, so we'll never see our best friends get engaged." She smacked my arm at that and handed me my camera,
"Shut up, I've gotten better at driving."
"Yeah because 5 tickets in the last 6 months really screams improvement." I said sarcastically as she shot me a glare. I made sure I had enough storage for photos and we were out the door, saying goodbye to Hankie. We got in her car and she started driving to this unknown place.
We started to go into the woods and I started to remember this place. We haven't been here in years and all the colorful leaves made it look beautiful. We were going to the lake that we had our three month anniversary at. Then I remembered that this is where Lisa took Jennie on their first date. Awe, Manoban is such a little hopeless romantic like me.
Rosie parked the car and we both saw Lisa setting everything up towards the lake. She had this plaid picnic blanket laid out and a little art easel because Jennie has gotten into painting recently. A bunch of different colored paints were laid out and Lisa looked up once she heard the crunching of the leaves under our feet get closer. Her face lit up in excitement,
"Hey guys!" She said happily as she brought us both into a hug.
"Look at this setup you got here," I said impressed as Lisa bit her lip in excitement.
"I know! I told Jennie that we are coming here to paint because of all the colorful leaves and scenery in like 30 minutes. I'll be going to get her now, and Rosie," she looked over at my wife, "did you park where I told you to?"
"Of course I did, I'm not stupid. I parked where you can't see the car."
"Wow, good job." I watched Rosie scoff and I just giggled at her.
"Okay, I'm going, I'll be back soon!" Lisa said before giving us one last hug. She hopped in her car and drove.
Rosie's POV
"What to do for half an hour to pas–" I stopped talking as I just watched y/n walk away from me. I was going to suggest we make out, but she's now like 20 feet away from me taking pictures of a squirrel. I sighed and walked over to stand next to my wife as she crouched down to get another angle of the animal. I grew annoyed as she still hadn't acknowledged me, so I did what any loving wife would do.
I pushed her down onto the ground.
I watched as she stumbled sideways onto the ground as she held her camera up so it wouldn't get damaged.
"Rosie, what the hell?" She yelled at me as I just laughed at her,
"Well you weren't giving me attention, so my actions were justified." I heard her say something under her breath, "what was that?" She froze and just shot me a smile,
"Nothing, I love you."
"Yeah, sure ya do." I said rolling my eyes as I walked away from her. I didn't hear leaves crunching behind me, so I turned around to see her laying on the ground taking pictures off the trees. I can never win with the woman. I decided to just suck it up and I went back over to her and just sat down next to her. She kissed my cheek and also started to take some pictures of me to pass the time.
We soon both heard a car driving down the road and y/n practically threw me to the ground to make sure that they didn't see us. I smacked y/n afterwards because it fucking hurt. She apologized and we saw Lisa get out of the car and run around to the other side and out walked Jennie. I smiled as Lisa did a 'ta-da' motion with her hands and we could hear Jennie's laughter.
"Awe, look at the being all cute and everything." Y/n whispered to me as she pulled her camera out and took some photos of the couple.
Honestly, I felt like a fucking stalker. Y/n and I are watching this whole date go down and y/n is even taking pictures. Whatever, Lisa told us too anyway. We observed the pair for about half an hour before I saw Lisa give the secret signal.
"Y/n, it's gonna happen now!" I whispered shouted to her.
"How the fuck do you know?"
"Lisa gave me the signal."
"What was the signal?" She asked me.
"Um, just her stretching."
"Oh my fucking god, whatever." Y/n quietly sat up and slowly made her way closer to the couple. I followed after her and we were about 100 feet away from them now. I could faintly hear Lisa talking to Jennie and then she got Jennie to stand up because I think she said something about 'taking her picture'. Jennie's back was to us and y/n made a funny pose because she was now in the shot. I saw Lisa smile and I also joined in.
Lisa then motioned for Jennie to stay there and now it's time, Lisa is going to propose to Jennie.
She reached into her jacket pocket and pulled out a black box and dropped down on one knee. Y/n has been spamming pictures throughout the whole sequence and is slowly walking towards them at an angle to get better shots. I pulled my phone out to record it and felt my eyes water as I realized my best friend is proposing to her long time girlfriend.
Y/n and I were close enough now to hear one sentence from Lisa,
"Will you marry me?" Jennie rapidly nodded her head and screamed,
"Yes you fucking idiot!" Lisa hugged Jennie tightly after she slipped the ring on her finger. I screamed happily now and y/n also went wild. Jennie turned her head to see who yelled and smiled her gummy smile at us with happy tears streaming down her face. Y/n quickly placed her camera on the ground as she sprinted towards her best friend,
"You're fucking engaged!" She yelled as she grabbed Jennie in a hug and twirled her around. I smiled at the pair and saw Lisa sprinting right at me,
"Lisa!" I screamed out of fear as she bulldozed me into the ground. I groaned out and she kept screaming 'I'm going to get married' and 'I'm engaged'. I hugged her back once I wasn't in too much pain and wiped away her tears.
"You finally did it huh."
"I actually did it."
