(a/n: finally, chapter 100. what the actual fuck)
Rosie's POV
We still haven't heard anything from the real estate agent, and it's been a week. I've been on edge all week worrying that we didn't get our literal dream apartment. Everything about it was great, even the backsplash for the kitchen was fucking perfect. Y/n has been trying to get my mind off of thinking about it by taking me to the beach today. The previous tries at taking my mind off of it had the gang involved too, but this would just be the two of us.
I didn't really want to go because what if we got a call while we were gone. But she reassured me that the call would come to our phones and we could even bring some nice clothes in case we had to drive over to the apartment right away. I agree to it and I was now waiting for y/n to drive over here so we could get going. I had a bag packed of everything and had my bikini on underneath my clothes. It was really fucking hot out today, so I was a little thankful we were going to have a beach day.
A couple minutes passed and I saw y/n's car down the road. She pulled into the driveway and smiled brightly at me, sticking her head out the window,
"Let's go to the beach!" She shouted happily at me. I couldn't help but laughed as I made my way to the passenger's side and climbed in. I laughed harder as Nicki Minaj's 'Starships' was blasting in the car. She really knows how to wash away all my worries. Y/n took my hand in hers and off we were to the beach. We had our summer playlist going and it was such a fun little road trip that it didn't even feel like it was multiple hours.
We found a parking spot and we got out of the car and grabbed our things. Y/n also had a bag and she also had a beach umbrella for us. She had sunglasses on and looked cool with them, so I also got mine on. The second we set foot on the sand, I swear my foot got burned off,
"Shit shit shit it's hot!" Y/n shouted as she ran down to the water as quickly as she could. I screamed out after her and was also running to the water as quickly as I could. Y/n laughed at me struggling and I just flipped her off. She chuckled and kissed my cheek as we looked for a spot to set up our things. She found a spot and took one for the team as she ran up to it and placed one towel down. I stayed standing in the cool water as she also set up the umbrella.
"Okay, come here!" She yelled at me and waved me over. I nodded and mentally prepared myself for the scolding hot sand. I ran as fast as my feet could carry me, screaming and complaining along the way. I looked up and saw that y/n was recording me struggling. I yelled louder at her and she just laughed. I finally made it to the safe zone and pushed her over so she feel in the burning sand,
"That's what you get for recording me and laughing." I huffed out as I set my towel down and placed my bag down. I sighed out as I was finally off that god forbidden sand. I put some sunscreen on my body and asked y/n to put some on my back,
"Anything to get all handsy with you." She said as she smirked at me. I just smiled as I laid down on the towel and felt the cool sunscreen get spread around my back. Her fingers felt amazing on my skin and I loved it. Her hands traveled down my back and she smacked my ass lightly, "Done!"
"You're annoying," I told her as I sat up and smirked at her, "My turn to do you." She smiled at me and threw the sunscreen at me. I got some on my hands and forcefully pushed her down on her towel,
"Jesus christ Rosie, what are you trying to do? Fucking kill me?" She said as she shifted around to get comfortable.
"Just trying to get handsy with my girlfriend as quickly as possible." I told her as my hands made contact with her skin. She hummed out as they trailed all along her skin. I smirked to myself as I ran them along her sides and brushed against the side of her breasts.
"Woah woah, whatcha doing there?"
"Nothing." I said innocently as I straddled her butt. I felt her tense up, but she didn't say anything else. My hands then went down to her swim shorts and my fingers went under them every so slightly. She reached her hand back to stop me from going further,
"Love, as much as I love your hands, stop turning me on over here."
"I'm turning you on?" I asked smugly.
"Duh, of course you are. You are literally on top of me in an all white bikini, why wouldn't you be turning me on?" She admitted. I just kissed the back of her neck before getting off of her,
"Good, wanted to make sure I still have an effect on you."
"Oh you most definitely do." She said back to me as I settled down on my towel and sunbathed for a little. I saw that y/n had a book with her and she was silently reading it while playing soft music from her phone for us. I looked over at my girlfriend multiple times during my tanning of one hour. She looked great as the sunlight shone wonderfully on her skin. The soft smile that was constantly on her lips was also really sweet. After a few more minutes of laying there, my attention was drawn back to her because she slammed her boom close,
"Okay I can't do that anymore! I read the same fucking page 8 times over and still don't remember any of it! I'm getting in the water, you wanna come?" She asked me as she propped her sunglasses on top of her head. I sat up on my towel,
"Yeah sure, let's get wet together." I teased her. She laughed and held out a hand for me to grab. I got up with her help and we both were standing, looking at the ocean ahead of us,
"Okay, on three we are going to sprint down to the water, got it?" She told me.
"Got it, please don't let go of my hand." I requested. I just felt her squeeze it in response,
"Then don't lag behind, love." She winked at me, "One, two, three!" And she took off running to the water, me following behind her. We both swore under our breaths as we were running because the sand was still really fucking hot. Y/n started to get a little ahead of me and she shouted for me to hurry up. I did just that as I didn't want her to leave me behind. But we soon made it to the cool water. The second our feet hit the water we both sighed out,
"Ahh, this feels fucking great." Y/n said as she closed her eyes. I was also next to her soaking up the amazing feeling of the cool water splashing on our feet.
Y/n was the first one to start to go into the water deeper. She was taking her time as she needed to get used to the water, but a couple minutes went by and she was waist deep.
"I'm going under!" She shouted at me with a smile. I gave her a thumbs up back and watched her disappear under the waves. She resurfaced a few seconds later and shook her head to get some of the water off of her face. She looked back at me with bright eyes, "Come on Rosie! You're only fucking knee deep! If you don't come here in five minutes, I will grab you and drag you out here myself!"
"Alright! Chill out!" I definitely don't want her to do that to me because she won't have any mercy for me. I very slowly started to make my way deeper into the water; getting pissed off at the now slightly higher waves. Y/n giggled every time I frowned as a wave got higher and higher up my body. I had my arms wrapped around me, trying to stay warm.
I heard splashing coming towards me and I saw y/n swimming over to me. My eyes widened in fear and I was about to try and make it back to shore before she could reach me.
"Wait Rosie! I just wanna help you out!" She called out to me. I didn't look back because I knew for a fact my time limit was up. I heard her evil laughs from behind me and as I was about to be back to knee deep level, I felt her arms wrap around me. I yelled out in surprise and fear,
"No! Y/n I swear to god let me go!" I shouted at her. She pressed a few kisses on my neck before dragging me out to sea basically. I was flailing around trying to stop her, but she was stronger than me. So I thought of the next best thing and climbed on top of her to get away from the water. My one arm was across her face and she was mumbling something that I couldn't make out, so I moved it up her face so it was now just covering her eyes.
"Love, I swear to god get the fuck off of my shoulders and head! I will just go underwater right now and drag you down with me!" She threatened me. I was contemplating my decisions I had and I slowly climbed off of her. She actually held me up, so my body wasn't fully underwater yet, which I was thankful for. I wrapped my arms around her neck and she secured her hands on my thighs, holding me up.
"Please don't go underwater." I begged her. She sighed out,
"Fine, I won't go underwater." I smiled at her and gave her a salty kiss.
"Good, thank you."
"Mhm, no problem. But soon you'll get used to it and I will throw you." She smirked at me. I just splashed water into her face and she wasn't too fond of that because it was obviously salt water. When she opened her eyes, they were cold and had determination in them.
Oh I fucked up.
"Babe, I'm so sorry! I completely forgot that it was salt water and I know it's probably burning your eyes right now," I tried to explain to her. I felt her hands grab my thighs a little tighter and I was internally panicking right now.
"Well, guess you have to get a taste of your own medicine, huh Rosie?"
"NO!" I yelled as my arms tightened impossibly more around her neck and she dunked the both of us under the water. The cold water enveloped my whole body and I hate to admit it, but it felt good. When we resurfaced, I saw y/n smiling at me.
"Now was that so bad?"
"Shut up." I said as I pushed off of her and swam away. She just laughed at me and swam with me. We were in the water for about an hour; just floating around and joking around.
But something interrupted our time together in the water. It was a little ball that was thrown right by us. It caught both of our attention and we saw a man and a child both looking over at us guiltily. Y/n tapped my arm gently and I got the hint to let go. She then swam over to the ball and threw it back to them,
"Heads up little one!" She shouted happily and threw it to the little kid. He laughed happily and I saw the father smile at us. When y/n was about to turn her attention back to me, the ball once again was thrown in our direction. Y/n seemed shocked by this, but I wasn't because that little kid loved it when she threw that ball back to him. Y/n looked over at me as if she was looking for permission to continue to play with the kid. I smiled at her and gave her a quick kiss,
"You can go and play with them, I was going to probably get out anyway."
"Okay, I love you." I smiled as she swam over to the pair and joined in on their game of catch. I swam back to shore and ran back up to our things. I then sat down on y/n's towel since it was under the umbrella. I just sat back and watched how y/n interacted with the kid. She was so cute and was talking with him all animated. It brought a warm smile to my lips. I guess she's really good with kids, nice thing to know. I took a few pictures and then just went on Instagram to pass the time.
I soon heard someone cursing under their breath and I knew it was my girlfriend. I looked up from my phone to see her running back up to me. She was soaking wet, but it made her look really hot. The way her skin glistened in sun because of the water was to die for. She also shook her head once more to try and get rid of excess water from her hair. She soon was standing in front of me and motioned for me to scoot over on her towel. I did just that and she sat down next to me, breathing heavily.
"Looks like you're worn out." I said to her as she tried to catch her breath.
"Oh yeah, the little dude has a ton of energy, but he was a blast to play with. His name is Michael and he's 7. He also loves swimming and dinosaurs if you were wondering." I giggled at how she new a lot about him from her time playing with him. She put her sunglasses back on and we both saw Michael and his dad walking over to us. I smiled to myself as y/n smiled brightly at the two,
"Hey you guys," she said to the both of them before turning her attention to Michael, "whatcha dragging your dad over here for?"
"Can I build a sandcastle with you two?" He asked a little shy as I made eye contact with him. I snickered to myself and y/n spoke up,
"Of course you can bud! Do you have some buckets and shovels we can use?" He nodded his head and ran off to where their things were.
"I'm sorry he's bugging you two today. He just loves people and loved how you played with him." His father explained.
"Oh it's completely fine, he's a fun little ball of energy. You can go and relax while we play with him a little." Y/n said with a smile as we heard little giggles coming towards us. The father thanked us and Michael sat down next to us. He was blabbering about dinosaurs and y/n was fully paying attention. She took him down to the water to get some buckets of water in order to make the sand hold its shape.
Soon, there was a pretty nice sandcastle right by our things. I was getting hungry and so was y/n. Michael was also worn out and actually feel asleep curled up against y/n. My heart melted at the sight and I just imagined how y/n would be with our kid/kids in the future.
"I'm going to carry him back to his dad now. If you can start to pack things up and put them in the car, that would be great." She whispered to me as she handed me her keys and gave me a kiss on the lips before wrapping him up in her arms and walking over to his dad. I got a majority of things put away and walked back down to get the final few things. But I heard some faint crying and saw Michael crying while holding y/n. I could see her heartbroken expression on her face as she was whispering to him. Soon, he gave her one final hug and walked back over to me with a small smile.
"He didn't take that well." She said with a sad laugh.
"I could tell, but you handled it well," I said as I gave her a kiss on the cheek, "let's grab the rest and find a place to eat." We grabbed everything that was left and headed back up to the car. I also put on some clothes on top of my bikini and y/n whined next to me, but I just rolled my eyes at her. We got in the car and I looked up places to eat. A small restaurant popped up on my phone and I put the directions in the car.
I was just leaning my head up against the window, watching the scenery go by. My mind drifted back to how sweet y/n was with Michael and it was stuck on that.
"Have my kids." I blurted out. I heard y/n suck in a breath from beside me and I looked over at her as she was driving. There was a faint blush on her face,
"Love, you can't just say that while I'm fucking driving." She said lightly, "But you want a family with me?"
"Duh, of course I do. And seeing you play with Michael really solidified that dream."
"Who would carry the baby?" She asked me.
"I always have wanted to, so I would. Plus, I don't see you doing that anyway." I answered with a laugh.
"True. I feel like you would look stunning pregnant. With the pregnancy glow and everything."
"Too bad you can't get me pregnant." I sighed out dramatically. I heard y/n snicker from beside me,
"If I had a dick, you would probably already be pregnant with our second or third child by now. We have sex quite often." She countered.
"We should get a strap on." I said thinking out loud.
"Rosie, what the fuck!? Where is this conversation going?" She shouted at me. I just laughed at her,
"We can continue this conversation about kids when we're married, okay?" She nodded her head. We are both only 19 and are just trying to buy our first apartment together. It would be years and years until we think about actually having kids. But I liked our conversation.
"I do want us to get a strap on though now that I think about it. You'd be hot using that with me."

Y/N's POV
The rest of the drive was fine. The small restaurant we found was really nice. It had the beach feel to it and we are currently eating outside with the nice breeze from the ocean. Rosie was sitting across from me enjoying her salad and I was just gently caressing her ankle with my foot because I was bored. I had already finished my food and she was still eating hers. I just sipped on my drink and looked over the horizon.
"Hey y/n?" Rosie said, bringing me back to reality as I turned my attention over to her.
"Yeah?"
"Can we watch the sunset later here? I don't want to go back just yet." She asked a little hesitant. I smiled softly at her,
"Of course we can. The sun sets around like 9:30pm, so we will have to get a hotel for the night." I explained to her as I pulled my phone out to look for a cheap room to spend one night in.
"Okay." She said with a smile on her face. I looked up from my phone to see her looking over the ocean and the sunlight worked wonders for her. I took a few pictures and found a motel that only cost $20 a night. Perfect.
The time was already now 6 pm and we drove to where the motel was. We checked in and got our room. We obviously didn't have any toiletries because we didn't think we would be spending the night here. So Rosie offered to go to the CVS across the street and just get a few things. I was fine with that and just waited for her to come back as I inspected the room to make sure it was nice enough for us to sleep in.
Fifteen minutes later, Rosie came back with the essentials and we decided to just lounge around before the sunset. But we needed to take a shower to wash off all the saltwater and ocean gunk from us. I was about to ask her if she wanted to take turns, but my question was answered as she grabbed my shirt and yanked me into the bathroom with her. We both got naked and hopped into the shower,
"See, now I wish you had a strap on to absolutely ruin me." Rosie said sadly. I rolled my eyes at her,
"Well I'm sorry we don't have one, but I have a mouth and fingers and I think those do just fine." I smirked at her as she brought our lips together.

After our shower fiasco, we were changed into our previous clothes and got back in the car to drive down to the beach. Once we arrived, there weren't actually a lot of people which shocked me since it was a nice evening. But I'm not complaining. Rosie found a little bench and dragged me over to it. She told me to sit down and I did without question. Then she sat down on my lap and snuggled up against my body. I smiled fondly and we watched the gorgeous sunset together.
It was really nice with all the pastel colors creating a beautiful painted sky. We both took pictures of it and then stayed at the beach a little longer before driving back to the motel. When we got back, we just decided to sleep naked since we didn't have pajamas with us. We did our night routine and I smirked at all the hickeys I left on her smooth skin.
I crawled into bed first and Rosie followed right after, snuggling right back up into me. We both sighed out happily and drifted off to sleep rather quickly because we were completely worn out.
Morning soon came and my internal body clock woke me up at around 8:30am. I wasn't mad because we needed to get back to our houses. I got up first and went to the bathroom. While I was in there, I swear I heard a little scream come from our room. When I walked out, I saw Rosie staring at her phone.
"What's up?" I asked her as I walked over to her to see what was on her phone. She didn't say anything and just let me look at the screen,
1 missed call from TheRealtors
"Oh my god." I said quietly. It was from 8am and I cursed myself for not being up in time.
"I need to call them back now." Rosie said immediately and called them back. As it was ringing, I told her to put it on speaker.
"Hello?" A person from the other side of the call said.
"Hi, this is Roseanne Park speaking. I missed a call from you guys today at 8am. May I know what that call was about?" Rosie said as she was biting her fingernails. I gently brought her hand away from her face so she would stop doing that. I then intertwined our fingers together.
"Ah yes! We called you about the apartment you placed an offer on. The realtor did some negotiating and the people selling it have decided to pick you and your girlfriend as the new owners." The lady explained. I just sat there with my jaw dropped as Rosie was the same, her eyes starting to get watery.
"So we are getting the apartment?" I asked just to make sure I'm not fucking hearing things.
"Yes you two are! So whenever you two have time, come down to my office and I'll have all the paper work here for you guys to sign."
"We'll be there at 5pm today." Rosie said automatically. She shot me the 'let's fucking get going' look and I immediately started to pack up our things, throwing on my previously worn clothes.
"Alright, I'll still be in the office at that time. I'll see you two then! Have a lovely day!"
"Thank you, you too!" Rosie said as she was holding back tears, trying not to have her voice crack from emotion. She hung up and her phone fell out of her hands as she cried into them. I went over to her and also cried with her, wrapping her up in the tightest hug I could give. She reciprocated the hug quickly and we both cried on each other.
We just got our dream apartment.
I was laughing slightly through the tears, not believing the phone call that just happened. We are one step closer to achieving all the dreams we've set out for our relationship. One down, a few more to go. We stayed in each other's arms for a little bit before Rosie pulled back and quickly wiped her tears away,
"Enough crying, we need to leave fucking now." I collected myself and we grabbed the rest of our things and rushed out of the room. I checked us out while Rosie threw everything into my car. I then quickly made my way to the car and started our multiple hour long drive back. I knew we needed to stop at our houses to change into nicer clothes, so I would drop her off first and then I would pick her up after I get changed.
The ride back to our houses was quiet for a majority of it. We both had a million thoughts rushing through our minds and we were both fine with the silence. I turned the music on faintly to try and focus on driving instead of thinking about the apartment. Can't fucking die now.
We made it to her house at 3pm and she opened the door so fucking fast and was out of the car in one second flat. I didn't wait for her to get inside and just drove back to my house. I pulled into the driveway and stumbled out of my car as I was going faster than my feet could carry me. I blasted through the front door and scared my mom shitless who was watching TV.
"What the hell are you doing y/n?" She said as she looked at me. I barely had time to respond to her as I bolted up the stairs, but I got a few words out to her,
"We got the apartment!" And I soon entered my room to change.
"WHAT!?" I heard my mom yell loudly through my closed bedroom door. I ignored her for the time being and just focused on getting changed. Once I looked decent, I ran back out my bedroom door and my mom stopped me briefly,
"You two got the apartment?" She said extremely excited. I nodded my head enthusiastically,
"YES! We missed the call at 8am and called them back at 8:30 and they said we were picked! So Rosie and I are going over to the office to finalize everything! We are going to be like official adults!" I brought my mom into a bone crushing hug before making my way to the front door.
"I'm so happy for you two! Tell Rosie I said hello and congratulations!"
"Okay, bye mom! Love you so much!" I was out the door in record time and back in my car. I drove back to Rosie's house and saw her waiting on the front porch for me. As soon as she heard my car, she was practically sprinting towards the car and jumped in,
"Let's fucking go!" She yelled at me. I quickly put the car in reverse and drove off to the realtor office. We were both extremely anxious and excited, the car filling with tense emotions. But good ones. I saw Rosie's leg bouncing up and down, so I placed my hand on her thigh to try and calm her down a little. She gave me a tight lipped smile and placed her hand on top of mine. I heard her take a few deep breaths too.
"Hey Rosie, I don't know why we are both like this. We literally got picked for the apartment, so it's basically ours now." I said as I turned right.
"I know, but I just can't help it. A dream of mine is finally happening."
"And what might that dream be?"
"Living together with my girl." She said proudly as she squeezed my hand three times. I laughed and squeezed hers back.
"What a nice dream. That's mine too, except it's called 'Moving in with my smoking hot girlfriend', but they're pretty close." I joked with her. It seemed to lighten up the mood as we were both smiled for the rest of the ride there.
I pulled into the parking lot and we both got out, taking deep breaths before walking hand in hand to the building. We told the man at the front desk why we were here and he pointed us over to an office on the side. We thanked him and I knocked on the open door because I didn't want to just barge in the room without her permission. The realtor looked up and smiled brightly at us,
"Hello again you two! Come in so we can get this apartment under your guys' names!" She said cheerfully.
"Thank you for working hard to get us this apartment, it means so much to us." Rosie said as we sat down in the two chairs in front of the desk.
"If I'm being honest, I wanted you two to get the apartment, so I just talked about how great you two are. The sellers then fell in love with the idea of a nice young couple buying it. And that leads us to here," she then pulled out a shit ton of papers, "Let's get to making this apartment truly yours."

"And the last thing you have to sign is here and here." She said, pointing at the lines where we both needed to sign so it was in both of our names. Rosie signed her name first and then I signed mine. We both had the biggest smiles on our faces as all the paper work was done and the place was ours now.
"Okay, that's it! I'll get all this paperwork sent over to the bank and seller and that'll be it! I actually have two keys for you two right now, so you can go to the apartment now if you wanted to. You just can't move any furniture or anything like that into it right now because it still needs to be finalized."
She handed us two keys to the apartment and we both attached them to our key chains. I looked over at Rosie and she was really holding back her tears. The realtor noticed and left the office to give us a few minutes. When we heard the office door close, Rosie started to softly cry and I opened my arms up for her. She fell into my embrace and we sat there just rerunning them previous events in our heads. It was by far the biggest step in our over 3 year relationship and I couldn't be happier.
After about ten minutes, we heard a knock on the door and I let out a 'come in' for them. The realtor came in once more and congratulated us one more final time before we walked out of the building. It was late out because there were a lot of papers and the realtor had to go over a lot of things with us. So it was around 8:30pm when we exited the building. Once we got back into my car, we just sat in silence for a few seconds.
"Let's go to the apartment." Rosie and I both said at the same time. I smiled over at her as she laughed at how similar our train of thought was. I started the car and started to drive over to the apartment.

I smiled as that thought went through my mind. The drive was nice and relaxing, which was surprising. But once I pulled into the parking garage, we both got extremely giddy. We hopped out and went over to the elevator and pressed the fifth floor. It took a little while since we were all the way down in the parking garage, but neither of us cared. It soon dinged and we stepped out into our floor and walked down the hallway to our apartment. We both stood in front of the door,
"So do you wanna use your key?" I asked Rosie. She thought for a moment and I thought she would want me to use mine, but she got her key out quickly. I smiled brightly at how eager she was and she fumbled with the lock a few times before the door finally opened. We were met with the bare bones of our new apartment.
"I can't believe this is ours." Rosie said gently as she walked further into the apartment. I walked up behind her and gave her a back hug,
"I know, it's insane. But I'm so happy we finally get to live together." I kissed her cheek and let her go from my embrace as I could feel her wanting to escape it. She ran to the middle of the empty living room and spun around happily, her laughter echoing through the apartment. It was music to my ears.
I walked to the middle of the room with her and she stopped dancing around to face me with a huge smile. I smiled back and brought our bodies closer to each other. I pressed our foreheads together and we just looking lovingly into each other's eyes. Her hands snaked around my neck and mine went around her waist comfortably. Rosie sighed out contently,
"I wanna sleep here." She told me honestly.
"Love, there is absolutely no furniture here. We would be sleeping on the floor." I chuckled at her.
"Correction: you would be sleeping on the floor. I would be sleeping on top of you." She said with a smirk. I playfully rolled my eyes at her,
"No, I wanna sleep here when all the papers are all done and we actually have stuff in here." I told her. She pouted, but she knew I made a good point,
"Fine, but I want a first apartment kiss now." She said as she played with my baby hairs on the back of my neck. My fingers danced across her waist under her shirt,
"I think we can make that happen." I said softly to her as I felt her breathing quickly slightly. I then started to lean in and she met me halfway.
Our lips met together for the first time in our apartment. I couldn't help but smile softly into the kiss and she did the same. I brought her body in to mine so it was completely flush with mine. My whole body buzzed feeling her against me and I felt a whole fucking planet of animals in my stomach. It was the most beautiful kiss I think we've shared. Well, other than kisses on our anniversaries maybe. The way her strawberry lipgloss made me feel like I was on cloud nine was insane. I remember from the first time I kissed her, I didn't want to taste another flavor other than hers.
And over three years later, that still holds true.

WE GOT THE APARTMENT BITCHES!!!! and the way past me was thinking i could have the engagement be for chapter 100 HAHAHAHA. i would've had to rush so much stuff lol. but i'm satisfied with having the biggest event in their relationship so far be in this chapter.
I just want to say a huge HUGE thank you to every single person who has been reading this book. this was just supposed to be a stupid little thing, but so many people actually really like it. there are going to be more chapters after this obviously tho. i was thinking of then making a book 2 to this, but nah, i'll just have this be a long story bc why not.
*IMPORTANT*- i am also taking a few days off from uploading because uploading everyday is tiring and i deserve it lol
