KAELIN'S POINT OF VIEW

Liam, Mason, Theo, Isaac, Scott, Hunter, and I sat in the animal clinic in Deaton's office. had promised her father that she would watch over us and make sure that we wouldn't break anything, but instead she went with Malia, , and Lydia to talk to Halwyn. She wanted to find out everything. Allison promised me that she would protect her which got me to reluctantly allow Anna to leave with them.

Lydia had another premonition. She found another body. She was a banshee... so that was a normal thing... It has become a constant thing around here now.

We were all sitting, listening to a voicemail on a phone that Malia had picked off of a dead body that she found in the woods.

"Hey, it's me again. I, uh, don't know why you can't seem to call me back. Maybe because you think you're punishing me, but this is too long. It's too much. And it's not about us. Something's happening to Beacon Hills, to the people here. I just." The woman paused, "I just, I need to know everyone there with you is okay, so can you just, please, call me, please? One call. That's all I'm asking for, and if you don't call me back, then I'm going to get my answer anyway. That means I'm coming up there myself. If I don't get a call from you, I'm coming up there. So just try, try to remember... it's my pack too."

The voicemail ended. Scott walked over to the phone before he flipped the phone closed. Hunter sat next to me as he narrowed his eyes at Isaac and Scott in front of him. He didn't understand how Scott would be so opening to Isaac.

"You pulled this off one of the bodies in the woods?" Theo asks.

"Malia did." Liam nods and Hunter turned pale at the mention of her.

"Hey, are you okay?" I whisper worriedly.

"Yeah, there were six bodies, and one of them had no face." Scott added.

"Okay, so the one with no face, you think that's the woman on the phone?" Theo asks.

"I don't think anything." Hunter points out, "I'm just here for the drama."

"Allison should've left you behind." Isaac frowned.

I stood up out of my seat, snapping my head towards Isaac as I started walking towards him. "Say that again, Isaac, and I'll rip your throat out, with my teeth." I threaten, showing him my fangs.

"Maybe we should all just calm down." Scott suggests.

"No. He deserves it." Theo said.

"My money's on Kaelin." Hunter informed the group and Mason nodded in agreement.

"Kaelin." Scott warns.

I continued to glare at Isaac before relaxing. "It's the same thing that happened to Aaron." I looked back at Theo.

"It took over his body, basically stole his face and his DNA." Mason adds.

"So whoever this woman is, she could be the other half of this modern day Medusa." Hunter concludes.

"Which means she's just half of the problem." Theo nods. Theo looked over to Scott, Isaac, and Liam. "The other half we already know about, Aaron."

"We don't know where he is, though." Liam pointed out.

"You're a werewolf and you have his phone. Figure it out." Hunter orders.

"It doesn't work like that." Scott said.

"It does work like that." I correct and Scott glared at me. "Just look at his contacts. He'll have someone on there that will know where he is."

"I'm not stalking him." Scott frowned.

"That's not stalking, Scott." I sigh.

"You can't stalk someone when you don't even know where they are, dumbass." Hunter says annoyed.

"Okay, hold on. Aren't we supposed to keep both halves apart?" Theo said, "If we know about one half, let's just go for that one, that's Aaron."

"He's got a point." Hunter points out.

Mason gets up, circling around the room before he stood next to Theo. "I'm not agreeing with Theo, but I do think it'd be easier to track down Aaron over a voice on a phone."

Liam sent his best friend a look of betrayal. "That's agreeing with Theo."

"Yeah, but I thought I'd try to soften the blow a bit." Mason nods and Hunter let out a laugh. He got up and patted his friend, Mason, on the back.

"Is everyone shocked that I might be right?" Theo asks annoyed.

"Yes." Isaac snapped.

"Not really." I piped in.

"We just don't like it." Liam mumbled annoyed.

"Maybe we're all right." Scott says, trying to defuse the anger that was blossoming between Theo and Isaac. "Maybe we should be looking for both, Aaron and the woman on the phone." Scott's eyes gazed over to Theo and Mason. "I mean, since you guys agree." Scott nodded over to Hunter, who had agreed with Theo as well.

"Wait." Mason said shocked, "You mean me and..." Mason gaped at what Scott was saying.

"Him?" Theo questioned, nodding over to Mason.

"I have to deal with them?" Hunter added, "They hate each other, Scott." I sent him a 'really?' look. "I could kiss you right now! You know how much I love drama!" Hunter beamed with happiness.

"He's probably just trying to get on his girlfriend's good side." I told him.

"Yeah." Scott nods, "You three find Aaron. Liam and I will try to figure out whose voice is on the phone. Kaelin, you with us or them?"

Everyone turned to look at me. "Well, if you find the Anuk-ite without me, you'll probably get killed." Scott sent me a sarcastic smile and I smiled back. "Besides I've already taught Hunter everything I know, so if Aaron really is the Anuk-ite you might actually stand a chance against it."

"I'll make sure they won't kill each other." Hunter said cheerily.

"Sure." I nod, "Have fun with that."

"Stop the Anuk-ite." Liam started.

"Stop the war." Scott finished in agreement.

Theo got up, before he pulled me over to the opposite side of the room. "What the hell are you doing?"

"What are you talking about?" I ask confused.

"You have to come with me." Theo said urgently.

"I don't have to do anything." I hiss, "Asshole."

"I'm not an asshole." Theo retorted.

"Really? Then let go of my arm." I snap.

Theo sighed, letting go of my arm. "Now why did you pull me over here to talk to me even though everyone in here can hear the two of us?"

"I don't trust them, Angel." Theo said.

"Mason's a kid, Theo. He's not going to stab you in the back." I remark. The two of us turned to look at Mason who just smiled innocently at the both of us.

"You sure about that?" Theo asks.

"Hunter's not going to hurt you either." I assure him.

"He's been with the hunters-" Theo retorted.

"-For two days." I snap, "No one can get through Hunter."

"What about Isaac?" Theo asks.

"Don't worry about him. I give it a day or so that my dad will kill him." I shrug. Isaac tilted his head towards us in confusion and jealousy as he continued to glare at Theo.

"Can I kill him?" Theo asks hopefully. He sent a smirk Isaac's way resulting in Isaac continuing to glare at him. Scott shook his head in embarrassment. He hated watching Isaac like this. He hated how Isaac didn't become different over the years that Scott had known him. Scott had thought that Isaac would've gotten better for me, but Isaac got with Allison after I died. All the chances we gave to him didn't make a difference.

I shook my head, placing my hands on my hips, and reprimanded him. "No. You don't do that anymore."

"What makes you think that I don't?" Theo frowns, tilting his head as he watched my movements, trying to understand me.

"I'm trusting that you won't." I correct.

"You're trusting me?" Theo asks surprised.

"I'm trusting you to protect them." I shrug.

˜"*°•.˜"*°• o •°*"˜.•°*"˜

Mason, Hunter, and Theo had left to find Aaron. Hunter felt better if he had any weapons, but it was his fault that he didn't go to his house to retrieve them. He doesn't need weapons to defend himself against Aaron... I hope not. Hunter was very happy to be put together with people that hated each other since he loves drama.

Scott kept on playing the voicemail on repeat as if we were going to find out who the voice belonged to. I sighed annoyed. I got up and stopped the voicemail. I flipped the phone closed, sighing in annoyance. We weren't getting anywhere. Liam sat up, grabbing the phone, and redialed the number instantly. Scott reached out for the phone and Scott flipped it shut, out of Liam's grasp.

"Do you even know what you're going to say?" Scott asks.

"Hello?" Liam suggests.

"That's all?" I ask disappointed, "You'll need a lot more than that."

"Well, I'm not really good at talking to people. You're the best at it." Liam retorted.

"What would you tell her?" Scott nods.

"I'd ask to meet up with her somewhere so I could give her back the phone." I shrug and the two of them look at me confused. "Aaron meant something to her, she'll want anything of his to remember him, even if she is the Anuk-ite now... it might bring back some of her humanity."

"That might not be the best idea anyway." Scott shook his head.

"Why?" Liam asks, "Then we'll know who they are."

"And they'll know who we are." Scott shoots back.

"What's the problem with that?" I retort, "They already want us dead." Scott looked down sadly. A ringing noise suddenly filled the room and I frowned as the phone stayed in Scott's hands. I looked over to Liam who only sat there in shock.

"Answer it." Liam urges.

"You're the one who wanted to make the call, you take it." Scott snaps, holding the phone out to Liam.

Liam looked over at me, asking me what I thought. "Just answer the phone." I said annoyed.

Liam sighed as he picked up the phone, however, when he did it the ringing had stopped. Liam opened the flip phone before he called the number that had just called us. The three of us sat here in anticipation. This could help us find out who the Anuk-Ite is, it could help us save lives... If she actually answers the phone.

'Beacon Hills High School. How may I-' Liam slammed the phone shut. He looked back at Scott and I who only sat there in shock.

"It's someone at school." Liam announced.

"We might know who they are." Scott said hopefully.

"Hopefully." I add.

Liam sat still and I saw the gears whirring in his head.

"Did you guys find anything?" Isaac asks, walking back into the room.

Liam opened the phone again before he played the voicemail and realization dawned on him. He turned around to explain to the rest of us. "I think I know who it is." Liam looked up at me. "Mrs. Finch."

˜"*°•.˜"*°• o •°*"˜.•°*"˜

The four of us sat in Stiles' jeep in the school parking lot. Scott wasn't convinced that it was Mrs. Finch. "Mrs. Finch. You sure?"

"100%." I nodded.

"Who is this bitch anyway?" Isaac asks.

"Not important." I said simply, stopping Liam from telling Isaac what she did.

"But that still doesn't confirm she's the Anuk-ite, or even that she's one of us." Scott sighed.

"It's all we got, Scott." I inform him.

Scott looked over at Liam. "Okay, well then we need to get closer, see if we can get her to expose her supernatural side."

"How are we going to do that?" Liam questioned.

"You are going to do that, dumbass." Isaac said, rolling his eyes. I glared at him.

"Well, what about the hunters and the Nazi student brigade?" Liam demands, his face falling immediately. He looked over to me, pleading for help.

"Maybe I should go with him." I suggest.

Liam shook his head immediately. "I'm fine. I'll go." Liam stated determined.

"You don't have to. I can always-" I start, but Liam cuts me off.

"I promise I'll be fine." Liam assures me, "I just wish Anna was here." Liam mumbled the last part and I brought him into a side hug.

"Hey, I'll be right outside and if I hear anything, anything at all, I'll come running in." I assure him. Liam looks at me confused. "And, yes, maybe with my vampire speed."

"But what if they see you?" Liam asks.

"Then they see me. I don't give a shit." I say annoyed.

Liam frowned, gazing up at me. "I hate biology."

"Give them hell, kid." I told him, earning a glare from Scott. "Uh... Give them you. Yeah. Give them you."

˜"*°•.˜"*°• o •°*"˜.•°*"˜

Meanwhile...

"These tunnels go on forever, and we've been down here for hours." Mason groaned annoyed.

"No real news from the last time you said it twenty minutes ago." Theo snaps.

"Nothing is real news to you unless it has something to do with Kaelin." Mason said earning a glare from Theo. "Also, I wasn't doubting the plan twenty minutes ago.' Mason glared at Theo who was still standing there with Hunter and him. "If you're so concerned, just go. I mean, no one's forcing you to be here."

Theo turned pale. "Shut the hell up, Mason!" Hunter hissed.

"Yeah, and leave you and our army in charge of my survival? Don't think so." Theo said calmly.

"Whatever it takes to save your own ass, and just nobody else's." Mason snapped, tone full of venom.

"I'm here, aren't I?" Theo says.

"Yeah, after leaving Kaelin." Hunter snapped, "Leaving behind the only person who actually cared about you. You should be lucky that she ever cared about you at all." Hunter felt his anger increase, the Anuk-ite was close, and he had no control over his emotions.

"Maybe I wanna be in the pack." Theo defends.

"Yeah, right. You only want her. You'll do anything to get to her even if that means killing people she cares about which you've already done before." Mason hissed, "I saw Scott's mom. I saw Kaelin's injury. I saw everything that you did. You'll never win her back. Ever."

Theo tackled him and a boy came running in with a lead pipe, missing him completely. Hunter stood there in shock as he clenched his fist. Hunter ran at him, kicking him in the chest. Theo got up from the ground, retracting his claws, and scratched Aaron's arm. Aaron shouted in pain, his eyes glowing when he heard a roar of pain somewhere else.

"What was that?" Mason asks Theo as both him and Hunter rush to his side.

"I don't know, but we gotta find him." Theo said as he tried to help Mason up. Mason looked up at Hunter sadly, feeling pain, hoping that he wasn't going to die. "Alright, get up. I can't leave you."

"Wait, wait, something's happening. We need, we need to figure it out." Mason struggles as he slouched back down onto the wall.

"Mase." Hunter stated worriedly.

"So figure it out." Theo said urgently. Mason winced in pain. Theo grabbed his arm to try to take away his pain, but nothign happened. "I can't..." Theo mumbled as he tried again.

"You can't take pain if you don't care." Mason whispers.

"But, he does, Mase." Hunter said. He looked over to Theo. "You do, right?"

Theo bit into his wrist, it was something that he had never done before, he held it out for Mason to drink from until he heard something. Mason held onto Theo's wrist as he drank some of the blood. Theo pulled his hand back and turned around to face Aaron. Theo flicked out his claws and roared before he ran at him. Aaron ran at him, pinning him to the piped wall and ducked as Theo tried to claw at him. Theo grabbed Aaron's arms directing them to Aaron's stomach and shoved them. Aaron cried out in pain and a female growl echoed through the tunnels. Aaron ran off.

"You have to go, Hunter." Mason said urgently.

"I'm not leaving you behind." Hunter said determined.

"Aaron's going to his other half, Hunter. Our friends are in danger." Mason stated.

"Why would you think that?" Hunter asks.

"Kaelin knows who the Anuk-ite is. She has to." Mason said, believing that she had figured it out.

"I won't do that." Mrs. Finch argued. I rolled my eyes annoyed. I understood that this was her daughter, but she had the chance to save lives. We had figured out that it was her daughter as soon as Mrs. Finch had told us that. It was horrible. The two of them were just hiding from hunters and that's what got them killed.

"Just call her, tell her that you need her here, and we'll do whatever it takes to get your daughter back." I assured her.

"If she shows up." Scott adds, "At least you'll know what happened to your family, what happened to your daughter." I sent him a look. "Sorry." Scott mumbled.

"He didn't say anything wrong." Isaac said, "This bitch is dead and her mother should know."

Liam growled, but I tugged on his hand, holding him back. "Think of Anna." I tell him and Liam nodded slowly even though every second that he spent with Isaac made him more angry. "What was her name?" I asked Mrs. Finch softly.

"Quinn. My daughter's name is Quinn." Mrs. Finch sniffled. Quinn. The girl who was with us in the police station. Malia wasn't just angry, the Anuk-ite was there with us and she was increasing our anger, our fear.

"That's a beautiful name." I smile.

Night had come and the five of us still sat in the classroom. Liam hadn't killed anyone yet, and by anyone I mean Isaac. Mrs. Finch sat at her desk while the werewolves listened for any sign of Quinn. Liam got up and continuingly paced back and forth, not wanting another death on his conscience.

Something happened. My eyes gazed out towards the hallway, like the rest of the supernatural creatures' in the classroom.

"It's her isn't it?" Mrs. Finch asked, she had moved from her seat as soon as she saw our reaction.

We all gathered in the middle of the room. We were ready. "W-what do you plan on doing?" Mrs. Finch asked, worried for her daughter.

"Sh." Isaac snapped as Liam, Scott, and him made their way to the door.

"You're not going to hurt her, aren't you?" Mrs. Finch asks.

"We're going to do what we have to do." Liam informs her.

"What exactly does that mean?" Mrs. Finch asks nervously.

"Just stay back." Scott orders.

I walked over to her, "Don't worry. You can trust us." Mrs. Finch looks at me unconvinced. "We have experience with this sort of thing."

"Guys." Scott whispered wearily.

"Ready." Liam and Isaac told him.

Nothing came from outside the classroom. Mrs. Finch shoved me down onto the ground as she ran at the boys with a chalkboard eraser. Mrs. Finch hit them with a chalkboard eraser causing for wolfsbane to appear in the air. The boys fell onto the ground, coughing, as Mrs. Finch ran out of the room. Scott glanced up from the ground. I looked back to them and then to the door.

"Kaelin, no!" Scott shouted.

"I was prepared to sacrifice my life for you the first time and I'm more than prepared to do it a second time." I said to Scott.

I ran outside the classroom and I could feel it, the fear. I walked down the hallway, searching for the Anuk-ite. For anything. My heels clicked against the floor as every move I took was heard, echoed throughout the school. Suddenly I heard a scream. I froze and gulped in fear before I moved ahead.

I'm not afraid. I can't be afraid.

I closed my eyes tightly, not willing to open them. If it was like Medusa then I would turn to stone if I looked at them. "Quinn, it's me. It's your mom." Mrs. Finch pleaded. I opened my eyes to see Quinn and Mrs. Finch.

"Hey, get away from her!" I shouted, rushing towards the two of them.

Quinn snarled before she ran off. Mrs. Finch was slouched against the wall, blood covering her torso, as I rushed to her side. "You're going to be okay." I assure her. Mrs. Finch groaned in pain, holding onto her torso. "You need to heal."

"Kaelin?" Scott asks worriedly.

"Scott, you need to make her heal." I inform him, "I'll go after Quinn." I got up to move, but Isaac stopped me, Liam walking up behind him.

"We're not going after her." Isaac snapped.

"You're right. We're not, I am." I retorted, tearing myself out of his grip.

I rushed down the hallway, my eyes set on Aaron and Quinn who had found each other. I growled, my fangs retracted before I ran at Aaron, shoving him to the side. I had to keep the two of them apart. Quinn snarled, running at me, but was stopped immediately as Liam had growled, stopping her. I thought he was with Scott and Isaac. I tried to punch Aaron, but he caught my fist in midair, crushing it before he threw me onto the ground.

I winced in pain as I gazed down to my broken hand. Liam was shoved onto the floor, right next to me. He looked at me worriedly before he turned to look at Aaron and Quinn in disgust.

"Kaelin, you okay?" Liam asks worriedly.

"Are you?" I retort, feeling the fear that had consumed the room.

Aaron and Quinn turned to face each other. They started kissing, but it wasn't normal kissing, bugs were flying into both of their mouths. It was disgusting. I got up quickly, helping Liam get up as well. Quinn headbutted Aaron and he stumbled backwards. Aaron hit her in the chest, blocking one of her hits. The two of them kept on fighting and Quinn had successfully cornered him to a support beam. Aaron snapped her neck resulting in Quinn to fall down onto the ground. Aaron kneeled down next to Quinn's body, placing his hand on her cheek, and a lilac glow appears causing for Liam and I to stare in confusion.

Spiders made their way out of Quinn's mouth before it went up to Aaron's. I gagged in disgust. Aaron got up, holding onto the shelves in the room as a purple mist covered him as he shifted. I grabbed Liam and turned around nearly running into Hunter.

"Hunter." I state relieved, "It's nice to see you, but we need to go, now." Hunter nodded immediately.

"What are you doing?" Liam demands, "Quinn and Aaron merged, we have to stop them."

"And we will, kiddo, but we need to regroup." I assure him, "We need to find another plan."

Liam nodded shortly as he started to lead us to where Scott was. Malia, Lydia, Isaac, and Allison were there as well. We told the group what happened.

We made our way down the hallway before we saw two hunters that were frozen in stone. Lydia inspected it and it was real. The Anuk-ite was really like Medusa.

"How do we fight something we can't look at?" Liam asks.

"Don't ask me." Allison said, "I shoot things, I can't shoot without looking."

"We need to learn how to fight without our eyes." Scott stated.

"Fight without seeing, that means..." Malia trailed off.

"Deucalion." Scott said.
