Ian actually wanted to look for Ye Xiu and Luo JunYe but he couldn't find them. He walked in more and more depth of the demon forest. But he didn't see any demons or any demon beasts.
During these journey, Mo Qi felt Ian isn't so bad as he thinks.
Ian sensed that someone is peeping at him. No its not someone. There are many people who are peeping at him. He looked at his newly contracted partner "aren't you feeling someone peeping"
Mo Qi shooked his head.
Ian felt that these peeping toms don't mean any harm to him. They only followed him to the.... demon city. Every time a demon see him. He will run away.
A little girl with horns in her head stared at him and ran to him. The lady with her seems to her mother wanted to stop her but the little girl ran too fast. "Eh? Brother you look a lot like our king."
Ian was confused while Mo Qi's eyes widened again. The lady took the little girl in her arm "Sorry."
That little girl grinned at him.
Ian step towards the little girl "really. Is your king very handsome?"
Ian thought maybe the king is his hubby.
The little girl nodded in her mother's arms.
Ian smiled "Can I meet your king?"
The little girl nodded her head. Then shooked again "I don't know."
Mo Qi can feel the excitement and hope in Ian. He felt very bad. Why this brat want to meet the king. I am more handsome than the King.
A demon came forward and stared at him.
Ian also stared back at the demon. This demon's stare is same as the earlier peeping ones.
That demon said "You can meet the king. But..."
Ian asked "but?"
That demon shooked his head "nothing. Both of you come with me."
That demon led him towards the palace "my name is Sha. You...You are new here. Why did you come here?"
Ian stayed silent and Sha didn't asked further.
The guard saw Sha coming. They were a little surprised and opened the door. There are not many maids like a normal palace would have. It's really silent but a cry rang out. Ian wanted to dodged but something like a chicken jumped in his arms.
Mo Qi grabbed that and threw it to Sha. When it landed on Sha, it cried out and breathed a fire ball on Sha and flew to Ian again. This time it landed on Ian's shoulder perfectly and gave out a satisfied cry.
A handsome man came out listening his cry and looked at them bewildered.
Sha kneeled down before the man "My king"
At first Ian looked at the hand of the man. But there is no red string. He felt very unhappy.
Mo Qi also felt his hope again but it soon turned into disappointed. Mo Qi didn't know why is he feeling upset on someone's mood. He looked at Ian then his gaze landed on the Chicken. He blurted out "It's phoenix...?"
That man looked at him "You know it...? Well." And looked at Ian again. He don't know how to respond.
After calming down he looked at the king but he was stunned. The king.... He looks very much like him. It seems that Ian was cut off from same mold as the king.
The king said "Come in and talk. Qiqi let go of him."
That Chick-ahem-phoenix looked at the king and then ignored him. Qiqi rubbed his head intimately with Ian's head.
