A young girl wearing black gown entered the hall. Ian looked up at her and nodded.

The young girl is Ellie. She is going through the rituals to be the official successor.

Uno came with a tray in which there is a cup of blood. Ellie knew that it's the blood of ancestor. She took the cup and gracefully sipped it.

Uno and Kyle kneeled in front of her "my lady."

Ian smiled and put his index finger in the middle of Ellie's forhead and started to chant. At first only the middle of the Ellie's forhead shined and they are surrounded by the chants. As time went Ian and Ellie started to glow more.

Uno and Kyle couldn't tolerate the pressure and looked down.

After some time Ian and Ellie emerged from the shining glow. Ellie's aura is now more powerful. She is emitting a dense pressure. She kneeled in front of Ian "My lord."

Ian smiled satisfiedly "good. Let's go now."

Ellie followed Ian to a room which was particularly hidden. After they both entered the room, the door was closed behind them. Ian smiled "It's a ritual of our Black Swan clan. Every successor will have a chance to have a weapon that suit them most and here the weapon will chose you. Just close your eyes and feel if something is attracting your soul. Remember there will be many weapons glowing but you have to find the right one among them."

Ellie nodded and closed his eyes. She felt the attraction and something is pulling her soul toward forward. She started to walk forward but frowned. As Ian said there are numericals weapon shining in front of her as if they are saying 'Chose me'. But Ellie stayed determined and walk toward the force that was attracting her soul. Sometime she will become confused but again the attractions will become clear. At last Ellie placed her hand on the weapon. It shined brightly like it is greeting it's new partner. Ellie saw its a whip, a black and silver whip.

Ian chuckled "it actually recognised a owner. It's known for stubbornness. Congratulations on finding your new partner. I would advise you to treat it like your friend and partner nit just a weapon."

Ellie nodded and hugged the whip excitedly. When she calmed down she looked at Ian and asked. "Forgive my curiosity My lord. May I know what's your weapon."

A gun appeared in Ian's hand "oh. My partner is Blackpool. It's very bad tempered."

Ellie looked at gun and the whip struggled in her embrace and waved it's tail toward the gun.

Ian laughed "oh a friend? You can name your whip. Little girl. Now let's go. Your whip will merge with your soul and stay with you until you enter eternal slumber. After you enter eternal slumber it will come back here in this hall."

Ellie nodded and the whip disappeared from her hand.

Ian looked at Blackpool and it also disappeared. "Hmm. Take a rest now."

Ellie bowed to Ian and disappeared.

Ian walked out to the main hall and saw Uno and Kyle waiting for him. "Ahh. Decorate the manor that it will be suitable for a human to live in"

Uno bowed " as you wish. My lord."

Ian looked at Kyle "Take care of Clyde in the final year. He will be your future lord."

Kyle staggered a step. He actually showed his attitude to the future lord. Over. Everything is over if future lord says it to the Lord. Future lord asked about the Lord. Ahh let me say it to lord "M-my lord. Stu-no- Future lord Clyde was asking about you this morning."

Ian grinned happily "Okay. You can leave. This lord know what to do."

Kyle bowed. My lord grinned so happily? Good. I didn't see lord smile after lord's partner died. Wait my future lord's name is also Clyde.
