Rosie's POV
She really never misses when it comes to making me feel good. She took care of me and made me cum twice before she started to dress me because my body was dead weight at the moment. She then lifted me up and walked over to her car and placed me in the passenger's seat as my legs still shook slightly. She glanced down at them and smirked,
"Hopefully you can walk in about 30ish minutes, love." She then closed my door and we were off back to my house. I just looked out the window the whole time with a soft smile on my face since I've officially been with y/n for three months now. I really enjoyed our picnic and swimming in the lake. And I most definitely enjoyed the activity afterwards.
"So does this mean no bathtub sex?" I asked her, hoping she would say we could, but I had a feeling she wouldn't.
"No bathtub sex today. I just did you and you already want me again?" She quirked an eyebrow up and glanced over at me. I just stared back at her,
"Who doesn't want you?"
"A lot of people," she laughed to herself. That made me upset because she doesn't see herself the way I see her. I know in her head she always thinks of herself as unworthy to date me, but I think that is complete bullshit. She always downplays herself and I don't like that one bit.
"Y/n?"
"Yeah?" She answered, turning down my street.
"Why do you say things like that about yourself?"
"What do you mean?" She pulled into my driveway and turned the car off, giving me her full attention.
"How you say that people don't want you and that you don't understand why I'm dating you." I saw her eyes drop down to her lap and she started to fiddle with her fingers. I gently placed my hands on top of hers, causing her to sigh out and look back up at me.
"Well, I've never had anyone want to date me, let alone have a crush on me. I only kissed one person before you because it was a dare. You were basically my first kiss," I smiled knowing I was basically her first kiss and told her to continue, "So when someone as amazing as you came into my life and actually liked me and wanted to date me, I thought it was stupid. Someone like you deserves someone to match your beauty, inside and out. I'm obviously not the most known person in school and I only have a handful of friends. So sometimes I feel like I'm dragging you down to my level instead of helping you reach your highest potential." Her voice got small at the end and I could tell it was threatening to crack out of emotion.
I took in everything she just said to me. It's insane that she thinks she's weighing me down and that I'm not living a good life basically. I cupped her cheek,
"Look at me y/n," I waited for her eyes to meet mine again. When they did, I gave her a comforting smile.
"When I first saw you, I was mesmerized. I loved everything about you from your personality to the way you carry yourself. You care so much about the people closest to you and I admire that so much about you. But you always doubt other people's love for you. You are so much more than I could ever ask for," tears started to form in her eyes, "you don't drag me down at all. You are right there next to me as we continue to go higher and higher. You believe in my dreams and you love me. So please don't say things like that about yourself because it hurts me too. I feel your emotions also; I mirror them because I don't want you to go through them alone." I told her what her told me a little while back. She just closed her eyes and let a few tears fall down her face. I felt my own tears stinging my eyes and I blinked to let them trail down my face.
She looked back at me and frowned seeing me crying. She took her hand and swiped away my stray tears. I then did the same to her causing her to chuckle.
"I see you used my words against myself, huh?" She said with a small smile on her face.
"I may have heard them from someone I love." She rolled her eyes and laughed. She was about to speak up again, but I leaned in and captured her lips in a kiss. It was a somewhat salty kiss because of our tears, but it didn't make it any less special. Once we pulled back, we both had wide smiles on our faces and we hopped out of the car and walked hand in hand to the front door. We were greeted with Alice when we walked in and she looked us up and down with a somewhat worried expression. I just waved her off and took y/n upstairs so we could shower and get changed.
"You can take a shower first," she told me as she sat down on my desk chair.
"How about we take one together?" I wiggled my eyebrows and she just gave me the middle finger. I laughed and grabbed some comfy clothes and went to take a shower.
I took a rather quick one, and then I hopped out and changed so y/n didn't have to do a whole lot of waiting around. I opened the door to see y/n just looking through my vinyl collection.
"You have a decent collection here." She said, flipping through them and analyzing each one. I smiled and walked up behind her and laid my chin on top of her head,
"Yeah I do, but it's still growing." She chuckled and put them back on the shelf. She got up and looked me up and down with loving eyes,
"You look really pretty with wet hair." She said with a genuine smile. I got shy and told her to just go and take a shower. She didn't argue and gave me a quick kiss and grabbed the clothes I got out for her and disappeared into the bathroom. I smiled stupidly to myself as I flipped onto my bed and just thought about how amazing my girlfriend is.
After a few minutes, I heard a knock on my door and told them to come in. Alice poked her head in and looked around,
"Is y/n taking a shower now?" She whispered loudly. I laughed and nodded my head, "Okay good because I wanted to ask you why you guys were crying. And don't even try to tell me you weren't because you most definitely were." She plopped down on the end of my bed and gave me her full attention. I knew she was going to be the protective sister at some point so I spoke,
"Well I asked y/n who doesn't want her because she's amazing and she just kinda blew it off and said that a lot of people don't want her," I felt my emotions come back just talking about it, "she always says these negative things about herself like how I deserve someone better and that she's dragging me down and not allowing me to reach my full potential," I wiped a tear that fell down my cheek, " she's the most amazing person and everything I could ever ask for yet she thinks she isn't worthy of me. When in reality, she's the greatest thing to ever happen to me and I want her and only her." I finished with a shaky breath. I felt Alice's hand on my shoulder and she brought me into a hug.
"Shh, it's okay Rosie. She may not be used to being loved by other people who aren't family or her close friends. This is her first relationship and she's scared she isn't good enough for you, that's a normal thought a lot of people have. So it's up to their significant other to make them feel loved and that they are doing a great job at being themselves and loving you." She rubbed my back and waited for me to stop quietly sobbing. I heard my bathroom door start to open and I looked over Alice's shoulder to see y/n walking out of the bathroom. She then lifted her head up once she heard a sniffle and she looked between Alice and I.
"I'm sorry, am I interrupting something? I can go downstairs and wait for you guys to finish talking." Y/n said pointing to the door and slowly made her way over to it.
"Wait," Alice quickly stated, "I was just going to leave anyway." She got up from my bed and walked over towards y/n and gave her a hug before going out of my room and closing the door behind her. Y/n turned back to me with a confused look,
"Uh, what was that for?" She said pointing to the door as she made her way to my bed. I just shrugged my shoulders pretending I didn't know and opened my arms up to her. A smile appeared on her face as she made her way over to my open arms and melted into my hug. I wrapped my arms around her and dragged her on top of me as she giggled. I just kept my arms securely around her waist as she laid her head down on me.
"You're a good pillow," She said as I heard the smirk in her voice. I flicked the back of her head as she just laughed. We stayed like this for about ten minutes before I decided we should probably go downstairs and help out with dinner. Y/n rolled off of me and fell of the bed, making me dart to the edge of the bed to see her face down, groaning out in pain. I was about to ask if she was okay, but she spoke up,
"I'm fine," I was barley about to make it out since she talked right into the floor, but I still understood what she said. I then helped her up and she rubbed her nose and scrunched it up in pain. I removed her hands from her nose and laid soft kisses all along it. I heard her hum and watched as her eyes fluttered close in peace. I then kissed her lips and she kissed back gently as we then made our way downstairs to the kitchen.
"Hey mom," I said as I entered, seeing her putting something in the oven.
"Hey sweetie, hello y/n." She said with a smile as she greeted us.
"Hello Clare, thank you again for having me over for dinner." Y/n said as she sent her a thankful smile.
"Oh it's nothing, I'm glad you could join us tonight. You are also more than welcome to spend the night." I watched as y/n's eyes lit up,
"Really? Are you sure I won't be an inconvenience?"
"You are not an inconvenience, and you never will be one." My mom said firmly to her, yet there was obvious love behind her words. Y/n nodded her head and I asked how long it would be until dinner.
"Well this needs to cook for about 25 minutes, so I would say in half an hour dinner will be ready."
"Ok," I grabbed y/n's hand and started to drag her to the back door, "we'll be in the backyard if you need us." Y/n followed me without hesitation and I opened the sliding door and slid it close when we were both outside. She made her way over to one of our lounge chairs and sank down on it, releasing a loud sigh.
"Ahhh, this is nice." There was a cool breeze to go along with the comfortable temperature, so it was indeed nice out. I smiled at her as she closed her eyes with a soft smile playing on her lips. I walked over to her and she must've heard me as she scooted over to free up some space for me next to her. I did a little happy dance and quickly laid down beside her, looking at her side profile as she kept her head facing upwards. I then also turned my head upward and watched the clouds. Her fingers soon traced the back of my hand and intertwined them as she lifted our hands up and kissed the back of mine, still with her eyes closed.
"Love you Rosie."
"I love you too y/n."

Dinner was nice, our conversations flowed and we just overall had a lovely time. After we finished, y/n offered to do the dishes since my mother cooked. My mother was against it at first, saying that y/n was the guest and shouldn't do the dishes. But in typical fashion, y/n kept insisting and she was doing the dishes a few minutes later. My mother and Alice both went upstairs, leaving me alone with y/n in the kitchen. I just sat back in my chair and watched her from afar being all domestic. I hoped that I would get to see this a lot more when we were older and had our own place.
I guess I was daydreaming for a while because I then felt a tap on my shoulder which jolted me out of my thoughts. I turned my head to see y/n smiling down at me.
"Oh," I looked back at the sink, seeing that there were no more dishes, "you're done already."
"I am done already," she chuckled, "and you were daydreaming for most of it."
"You knew I was daydreaming?"
"Yes because I called out for you numerous times." I felt a blush slowly creep up on my face. I then felt her place a kiss on the top of my head and she told me we should watch a movie or something. I thought for a little and then decided that we could, so I got up and dragged her over to the living room as I opened up Netflix.
I picked a random movie and opened my arms up for y/n to lay down on top of me. A smirk grew on her face as she gently laid down on me and she used me as a pillow.
"Mmm, comfy."
"Shut up, y/n/n."
