Y/N's POV
I am currently running late for school because I spent the weekend just relaxing and then at 1am I remembered I had a whole spanish project due today. So needless to say I pulled an all nighter and fell asleep for a while and woke up only to see I had 5 minutes to get to school on time. Which, obviously isn't enough time, but I was gonna try to be only 10 minutes late.
I fumbled getting my clothes on and quickly brushed my hair and teeth. I was hoping around on one foot trying to get my shoe on and had a piece of toast i. my mouth. I glanced over to the couch to only see Nayeon laughing at me. I just rolled my eyes, gave her the middle finger, and ran out the door with my things.
I sprinted all the way to school and looked at my phone to see it was 8:04am, causing me to let out a sigh of relief. I'm only 4 minutes late and I just entered the school ground. I still ran inside the school and flew the door to government open. All eyes were immediately drawn to me as I looked at Mrs. Pritt, who didn't seem to amused with me.
"Detention after school, now sit down."
I held back the urge to roll my eyes and complain, so I only let out a sigh and made my way to my seat. Rosie was already sitting there looking at me with confused and worried eyes,
"Hey, are you okay?" She whispered to me,
"Yeah, doing just fine." I said with an attitude, "shit sorry, I didn't mean to be a bitch." I apologized as I took out my things to write down the notes.
"No it's fine I get it. Just let me know if there's anything I can do to help." She said rubbing my arm softly. I hummed a response and got to writing notes while listening to music to just keep my mind awake. Because I know damn well if I listened to the teacher lecture, I'd be asleep.
The class ends and Jenchulichang all asked what's up with me,
"Well at 1am, I realized I had a whole spanish project due today. So I decided to pull an all-nighter and then I must've fallen asleep at like 5am because I woke up at 7:55 and I was rushing around trying not to be too late. But obviously only being 6 minutes late results in me getting detention." I said pissed off.
"That's why you're cranky today, you didn't get any sleep." Jennie said as it finally dawned on her. I just gave her a glare and left for chemistry. I heard rushed footsteps behind me, but I just put my earbuds in and ignored them. I sat down in chemistry and Rosie sat next to me. She looked annoyed with me. My mind came to the realization that it was most likely her running after me. I looked over at her, but she was already facing forward with her jaw tightened. Well... fuck.
I knew she was pissed off and I was scared because she has never been mad at me before. I just sunk down in my seat as I tried to think of a way to make her happy again. An idea popped into my mind and I changed the song I was listening to and took out one of my earbuds are started to place it in her ear and she slapped my hand.
"Ow!" I whispered loudly. She just kept on ignoring me and I knew I had to step up my game. No one in school has ever really seen us show affection to each other. Well, I know we aren't together yet, but we still kiss each other on the cheeks and lips. I looked at her side profile and just admired her.
Her jaw was tight, but it still looked so good. She had a few strands of hair loose from her half up half down look. She just looked like a pissed off angel right now.
So I leaned over towards her and gently pressed my lips onto her cheek. I felt her body tense up and noticed she sucked in a breath. I then pulled back and whispered in her ear,
"I'm sorry about earlier. I just don't like talking to people when I'm tired." After I said that, I placed my hand on her thigh and she was frozen. She still didn't acknowledge me, but she definitely felt my presence and she didn't push me away.
After a few moments, I felt her hand on top of mine. I smiled to myself and saw a small smile on her face. I gave her thigh a light squeeze and rubbed my thumb against it. Her smile started to grow, and we just sat in our own little world for the rest of class.
The rest of the school day went by okay. My spanish project was actually good since my teacher complimented me on it. I better get a 100% or else I'll be committing murder since I wasted a whole night to do it.
I walked home alone because I told the rest that I was just going to sleep and wasn't up to talk to anyone on the way back. They were okay with it and told be to become a less cranky bitch, which resulted in me flipping them off.
As soon as I got home, I went upstairs and flopped on my bed and went to sleep.
Rosie's POV
Y/n all day has not been doing good and I know she hasn't slept well since she was stupid and pulled an all-nighter. I decided that in about 4 hours I was going to check up on her. Hopefully by then, she would have some energy and she could actually hold a true conversation. I wanted to talk to her because I was going to ask if she could accompany me to my father's funeral this Saturday.
The clock finally hit 6:30 and I walked out of my house over to hers. When I knocked on her door, Nayeon answered it,
"Oh yeah Roseanne. What are ya doing here?" She asked curiously.
"Oh well y/n wasn't doing too hot at school today because she didn't get any sleep and I just wanted to make sure she was alright." I said as I felt my cheeks betray me. I saw her smirk,
"Uhuh, well she has been in her room the whole time after school," she moved to the side, "You're more than welcome to come in and go up to her room."
"Thank you." I said moving past her.
"Don't be too loud though." She said evilly. I felt my face become on fire and darted up the stairs to her room hearing Nayeon's laugh echo through the house.
I opened y/n's door to see her face down on her bed sprawled out. I giggled to myself seeing her in this state, hoping I can see this more often. I quietly made my way over next to her and crouched down to be at her head level. I looked over her face and took in every detail. There was a strand of hair on her nose that was bugging her because her nose kept scrunching up. I smiled and moved it behind her ear.
After basically stalking her for a few minutes, I heard the door handle turn and I shot up in fear. In walked y/n's mom,
"Oh hi Roseanne, I didn't know you were here." She said smiling at me then moving her eyes to y/n, "I can see that she is dead to the world right now. I was going to ask if she wants dinner but I'm guessing that's a no." She finished with a laugh.
"Yeah I came over just a few minutes ago to see if she was doing fine and found her like this. Nayeon opened the door for me, so that's maybe why you didn't hear me."
"Oh that makes sense. I was doing some work out in the backyard since it was a little nicer," she smiled at me, "since she's out for the count, would you like to join Nayeon and I for dinner?"
I panicked at the proposal, but thought it would be nice for her family to get to know me more, "Um, I'll text my mom to see if she's fine with it."
"Ok dear, just come down in a few if she responds." And with that, she walked out and closed the door behind her. I was alone with my thoughts as I then heard y/n snore lightly next to me, lighten my mood about the situation. I looked at her night stand and saw the polaroids of us of our date. I picked up the one of me kissing her on the cheek and bit back a smile. I scanned over the others to see how the turned out on the polaroids and they all looked great.
I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket and fished it out to see if it was my mom that responded,

I texted her a simple thank you and okay. I looked back at y/n and leaned down to give her a soft kiss on her forehead and made my way out of her room. I walked downstairs to see her mother cooking.
"Hello Tiffany, my mother responded and said it was fine to have dinner with you guys," I walked over and sat at the bar top, "what are you making for dinner anyway?"
"Oh, well I'm making kebabs on the grill outside. They are just the standard steak kebabs with veggies. Nothing special but they taste divine." She said as she smiled at me. We heard footsteps coming down the stairs and we both looked over,
"Hey hey hey! I smell delicious food and I would very much like to eat it now!" Nayeon yelled.
"Sweetie, shut your mouth, your sister is still sleeping." Tiffany scolded her daughter.
"Blah blah blah, ok. And are you eating dinner with us Park?" Nayeon asked me looking surprised.
"That I am."
"Nice. Interrogation time." She said with a smirk.
"Nayeon, we are not going to interrogate the poor girl." Tiffany said throwing a piece of bell pepper at Nayeon.
"HEY, you didn't need to throw food at me." She said picking it up off of the ground, "but I'll still eat it." She continued as she ate it. I gave her a look of disgust.
"God, what am I going to do with you." Tiffany said with her head in her hands. Nayeon just laughed and sat at the table and went on her phone.
A couple of minutes passed and the three of us were sitting at the table eating.
"Wow, this tastes really good Tiffany. Thank you for inviting me tonight." I said thankfully.
"Oh it was nothing dear. Y/n really likes you so I just wanted to spend some time with you." She gave me a gentle smile, "So what do you want to do when you graduate? And you don't have to say college."
"Oh, I love music and my absolute dream would to become a singer, but that's the dream job. I would love to work at a planetarium because I enjoy space and everything about it." I explained.
"I'm sure you have an amazing voice. And I can see why y/n likes you since you share the same fascination with space." She spoke to me.
"Yeah, you guys are definitely a good match." Nayeon said with her mouth full of food.
"Honey, if you don't finish the food in your mouth before you speak again, you aren't seeing Jeongyeon this weekend." Tiffany threatened her. Nayeon's eyes went wide with fear and she didn't talk for the rest of dinner. Tiffany kept asking the normal questions you'd ask someone your daughter is fond of. It went smoothly and I helped clean up the dishes. I then told her that I was going to go and wake y/n up so she could eat her food.
I waltzed into her room and closed her door to see her still asleep, except her position changed to her laying on her back. I got an idea and started to execute it. I slowly climbed on top of her and straddled her lap. I bit back a giggle because she subconsciously moved a hand to where my left leg was. Her head was tilted up to the side, so I decided to kiss up her jawline. I felt her shift a little underneath me and I just smiled against her skin and continued.
I gently used my hand to turn her head so she was facing me. I kissed her right cheek and then her left cheek, causing her to rub her free hand against her face since it probably tickled a little. I then kissed her nose and she scrunched it up adorably and groaned out. I knew she was slowly waking up, so I then finally landed my lips onto hers.
A few seconds passed and I then felt her lips move against mine. My heart leaped in my chest as her one hand stayed on my leg while the other went to the nape of my neck. She swiped her tongue on my bottom lip, silently asking for permission, but I denied her. She got annoyed and she then bit my bottom lip, causing me to moan out in surprise and pleasure. Her tongue darted into my mouth and explored it. She slowly started to sit up so her back was against her head board. I positioned myself so I was still straddling her hands go to my waist and squeeze it. Her right hand moved to my lower back and I wanted her hand to go further down so bad. I kissed her harder and she matched my pace and moaned into my mouth.
Well hello new favorite sound.
That sound only made me want more, so being the impatient person I am, I took one of my hands away from her neck and slid it down onto her hand and brought it down to my ass. She got the message loud and clear and brought her other hand down too, gently massaging it.
"Fuck," I mumbled through our make out.
I only felt myself grow hotter with each passing moment and I was almost at the point of no return. So, in order to control myself, I pulled my lips away from hers. We were both breathing heavily and her pupils were completely blown up and I knew mine looked the exact same. I rested my forehead against hers,
"God damn," she breathed out, "you really know how to wake a girl up."
"And you really know how to turn one on." I said still catching my breath.
"That makes two of us."
"I had to pull back in order to stop this from going further. Even though I really wanted it, I knew we shouldn't right now, especially that your sister and mother are home." I explained. She nodded understandingly.
"Yeah I understand completely," she said pecking my lips, "but what are you doing here?"
"Well I came over here at 6:30 and you were still passed out, so your mother asked me to have dinner with her and Nayeon and–"
"She WHAT!? Oh no, did they ask boundary crossing questions? Or did they say embarrassing things about me?" Y/n asked, grabbing both sides of my face with a terrified expression on her face. I was just laughing and shook my head,
"No, they were lovely and I would love to have dinner with them again with you present this time," I said nudging my nose against hers, "and I was supposed to wake you up for your dinner soooo... go down and eat it."
She saluted me, "Yes ma'am!"
