Corey's POV
I saw Lucas lean in closer to Riley then looked away. I heard a kissing sound. Turned my head slightly and saw Lucas back away from her a little.
"Well Corey" Topenga said quietly with a smile on her face.
"Mum?...dad?" Riley muttered
"Yes sweetie." Topenga said before holding my hand and walking towards her with me.
We both say by Riley's bed with relief.
Riley was silent after that. Her eyes were open, looking up at the celling for the full hour we were all sat with her.
It was just a relief. Like a weight was lifted off of my shoulders. I still had my little princess.
