"It fucking is" sighing slightly I laughed quietly as Pansy and Daphne continued to bicker while we left the common room, a few people behind us as we rounded a corner and I stopped as they did too and I stared
"Well fuck me" I mumbled as I looked at the banner spread across the wall, with the word 'Freak' scrawled in capital letters as a smirk started forming and I turned my head around
"Pucey, Bletchley! Give us a hand, will you?" I asked as they walked over and I led them to the wall before turning between them
"Drop your bags. I need a lift up"
"A lift?"
"Yes- don't try and put your hands on me. Just do this, okay?" I asked as I showed them a basic hand grip as they looked confused before mimicking me as I stood on their hands and started untying it, wobbling slightly.
"You could've said this is what you meant-"
"Never mind meanings- are you stable enough?"
"As long as you two don't move too much, I should be find-"
"Better?" Feeling a hand on my back I paused slightly, looking down to the two who were still keeping me steady as they were looking behind me with an unimpressed and disgruntled look as I turned my head slightly, looking at Theodore who was standing with a grin as I turned back, hiding my red face with a nod
"Thank you" untying the last knot it fell down, the other half still attached at the wall as I stepped down unsteadily, grinning at the three before grabbing the banner and yanking it down as it came down off the wall
"There we go"
"So why do you want that?"
"Because I want to wear it. Pride is one of our house characteristics, yes?" I asked as I shook it slightly before shoving my bag at Miles as I wrapped it around my shoulders before taking my bag back with a grin and looking to the others as I started to walk
"Let's go"
"I can't wait for the Ravenclaws to see-"
"I can't wait for Brown and Weasley to see" I told Pansy and Daphne laughing as I turned my head, stopping as Theodore caught up, looking at me with a grin as we walked down towards the great hall
"You're mental-"
"No, I've got guts. There's a difference-
"Is there?"
"Probably not, no" I told him laughing as we walked into the hall and I offered a spin, whispers flying around as Pansy and Daphne started laughing and I turned to the rest of the hall, flicking them the middle finger
"Going to have to try harder than that cunts" I said to them as I walked down the table, sitting down with a grin as I slipped my robe off and draped it across my legs, looking to the teachers table and to Lupin who nodded to me ever so slightly, a smile on his face as I raised my goblet, going to take a drink but realising there wasn't anything in it as a high laugh came from beside me
"And where in the ever loving fuck did you come from?"
"I followed you guys down here"
"You did?" I asked Thalia as she nodded with a grin before I turned back to the other two, Theodore just having taken the space beside me
"I didn't even fucking know she was there-"
"Well I unlike my brother, like to get up early and make the most of my day-"
"And this is why I like you more than Blaise-"
"Hey!"
"What? It's the truth" I told Blaise with a shrug as he sat down on the opposite side of the table as I looked about confused
"Where's Draco?"
"Why?"
"Because I'm curious"
"Mhmm"
"What was that meant to mean?" I asked Blaise, eyebrows raised as I twirled my fork in between my fingers as I stared at him, watching him shrug
"Nothing. Who said it meant anything?"
"The way you said it. You clearly meant something-"
"Why do you have to be so interrogational-?"
"Why do you have to be such a snarky fucking bitch all of a sudden?" I shot back at him as I watched him roll his eyes slightly before glancing at Thalia
"Go find Astoria, Thalia-"
"No, I'm staying here"
"No you're fucking not. Now clear off!"
"Don't fucking talk to her like that"
"She's my sister Amelia, not yours. Don't try and tell me how to talk to my family when you don't even-"
"If you're going to continue being such a bastard you can go off down there and sit in a huff by your fucking self" I told him, eyes narrowed while I watched a scowl cross his face before he shuffled down along the table slightly as I looked between them
"What the fuck is his problem?"
"He's just a problem in general-"
"Thalia, do you even like your brother?"
"What a dumb question-"
"Point made-"
"Miss Black get that ridiculous banner off of yourself now"
"But, sir, I'm showing both pride in myself and in-"
"Five points from Slytherin-"
"I'll get them back and more by the end of the day anyway, Professor, so there isn't really a point in taking them away" I shrugged, trying my best to hide my amused look as Pansy continued to muffle her laughter from in front of me and I watched him look at her
"Ten points from Slytherin, Miss Parkinson-"
"What?! Why?!" She asked as he stared at her before turning and walking away as I started laughing at her
