December 3rd
It seemed like the day had went by way too slow for each of the girls. They both had work and school for most of the day and it took up their time for the day plans they had, like sudden obstacles kept coming their way for no reason. Shakel was stuck folding clothes at her job and Aaliyah was stuck at cosmetology school doing someone's hair. Aaliyah eventually found a way to get out of school so she could pick up Shakel. They had just a few hours before the concert started and neither of them were home yet to start getting ready. Not only to the girls did it seem like the day was dragging along slower than usual. The twins were so anxious about seeing the girls again, they felt like since the girls would be in the audience that night they needed every single dance step to be perfect. Even though they had been doing these same dance steps for so many years now they felt like they all of a sudden looked terrible and weren't being done right. They went over the steps countless times, they knew them like the back of their hand they could even do the steps in their sleep but at the moment the moves looked like shit and it was starting to frustrate them.
"Ugh!" Laurent groaned. "..Ce est des conneries ! (This is bullshit!)"
"Lau, calm down. We'll get it right." Larry said shaking his head.
They noticed Beyoncé walking by and Larry stopped her. "Um.. Monster?" Larry said as he and Laurent approached her.
Beyoncé turned around and smiled seeing her twin dancers walking up to her. "Yes?"
"It's us birthday Friday.. You know you have show that day and we dance with you..." Larry said beating around the bush. "Laurent you talk." Larry said pushing his twin in front of him.
"What, why!? Don't be scare, I talk all time!" Laurent said giving his brother a look.
Beyoncé shook her head and chuckled. "Come on guys, spit it out." She said placing a hand on their shoulders.
"We don't like asking for stuff from you, Monster." Larry said with a short smile on his face.
"What my brother want to ask is since our birthday is Friday, same day the show in Vegas. Can we get 2 ticket for show for us friends?" Laurent said with a little bit of confidence in his voice.
She took a moment to really comprehend what Laurent was saying because he was speaking such broken English. "Your birthday? Of course, that can be my gift to you. I'll let Melissa know." She said nodding her head. "And I don't want you to be afraid to ask me anything. Ever! I love you guys, okay?"
"We love you too, Monster. Thank you, thank you so much!" They said together as they hugged Beyoncé then she walked off.
Laurent turned to his brother. "Why you be so scare all the time?"
"I'm never scare!" Larry said pushing his brother to walk.

"Shakel, come on we gotta go now!" Aaliyah said fixing her eye makeup in the mirror.
"Bitch how you gonna rush me but you're fixing your makeup?" Shakel said standing behind Aaliyah.
"Shut up, I was just fixing the wing, I've been ready though." Aaliyah said standing up straight and turning to Shakel. "Let's go." She said grabbing her car keys and spraying herself with some body spray then walking out. She started running down the stairs. Shakel couldn't help but run after her because she was excited too. They had Aaliyah's mom take a picture of them together, they thanked her again then finally left.
After 20 minutes of driving they arrived at the Staples Center and surprisingly found good parking. It was a good 15 minute wait to actually get into the venue because it was a lot of people, but the lines were moving exceptionally fast. Once everyone was inside the show started and ran for about 2 hours. The first song performed was "Run the World" and that's when the twins first came out. That made the girls even more excited. The girls were excited and singing along to all of the song Beyoncé performed. They even danced a little. Being that they were way closer to the stage than they thought they would be, they were so close they could actually touch Beyoncé's heels when she walked by. Who knew it was even possible to get that close to Beyoncé during a concert? The dancers were going all out for this show because most of them were from L.A and had family and friends there to watch them. The twins were also onstage with the best energy anyone could ever have. Beyoncé performed "Why Don't You Love Me" and at the end of the song gave the twins time to freestyle. During the song is when the twins first noticed the girls and throughout their freestyle the twins had their eyes on them almost the whole time. Laurent pointed at the girls and mouthed the word "splits?" The girls nodded their heads yes until they seen him disappear behind the stage them reappear at the top where the singers and band where which had to be about 10 feet in the air. At that point they started shaking their head no extremely fast and waving their hands trying to get Laurent to stop. He smiled devilishly and took a leap off of the platform and kicked his legs out and landed in the splits at the bottom then hopped right back up dancing as if he never did the stunt. "JESUS!!" Shakel yelled as Laurent came flying down and "OH SHIT!!" Came from Aaliyah's mouth. Larry ran in a slight circle because of what his brother did while the girls had a mini freak out. Laurent looked at Aaliyah and smiled as he danced and Aaliyah held her chest still trying to calm down from his stunt. "Oh my god.." Is all she could say. The twins freestyle ended with throwing up the signs of their many dance crews. Criminalz Crew, Veteranz, La Clique, and finally Les Twins then they took a bow. 6 songs later, Beyoncé performed "Grown Woman" which was a never before heard song. Aaliyah and Shakel danced to the beat and loved the song completely. A part of the dance the twins came out and blind folded Beyoncé and danced with her. Larry was being a clown and made all types of faces at Bey as he danced with her. Laurent danced closer to her legs and Beyoncé accidentally slapped him. He was shocked. Larry on the other hand was dying laughing. Beyoncé took off the blind fold and threw it back at Laurent then went on to continue dancing and singing. The show closed out with the song "Halo" and Beyoncé sat near the crowd shaking people's hands and smiling at people and she even let a fan help her song the song.
"Everywhere I'm looking now, I'm surrounded by your embrace.." Beyoncé held the mic out to a fan and the girl didn't want to sing because she was too shy or something so she went on to the next fan. "Let's try this one more time" She said into the mic laughing, getting up and walking to another side of the stage, stopping right in front of Shakel and Aaliyah and looked at them.
"No! No no no no!!" Shakel said shaking her head. "Oh my god! No she better choose you, not me, I don't sing!" Shakel took out her phone and started recording because she had a feeling Beyoncé was going to choose her.
Beyoncé sat on her knees and grabbed Aaliyah's hand and started singing again.
"You're everything I need and more, it's written all over your face-" she held the mic to Aaliyah.
"Baby I can feel your halo, pray it won't fade away!" Aaliyah sang her heart out. She wasn't going to miss a chance to sing with one of her idols. Beyoncé looked at her with bright eyes and a big smile, surprised that she had a nice singing voice. Shakel recorded that whole moment, and she screamed along with the crowd at the end when Beyoncé got up and walked away to finish the song. Aaliyah was slightly dying because she actually finished the lyrics with Beyoncé. The Queen Bey. Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter. She couldn't believe it. Fans next to them pat Aaliyah on the shoulder telling her that she did good and smiled at her. After Beyoncé finished the song the crowd went wild. She proceeded to close out the show by introducing her band and dancers. First, she introduced her band. The drummer, the horn players, the guitarist and the back up singers. Then, she introduced her dancers one by one, the crowd cheered for them until she introduced her very last two dancers. Les Twins. The twins walked out and waved around to the crowd, hugged Beyoncé then stood next to her. Everyone joined hands and took one last bow. Putting an end to the show. When the twins looked up they seen the girls cheering and clapping. Larry signaled them to meet them in the back of the Staples Center using the closest exit door to the stage that no one else noticed. The girls agreed and began to push their way through the crowd and finally got out and started walking toward the back of the venue.
"Bitch it's too dark coming this way.. I don't like the dark." Aaliyah said clinging to Shakel as they walked.
"Don't worry, if anything pops out on us I got it handled."
Aaliyah started laughing. "You can't just run up on anything or anybody! You might get shot."
"Well the shit shouldn't be popping up on me then." Shakel said with a straight face.
The girls stopped walking and waited when they seen multiple tour buses waiting behind the venue They seen the twins pop out of a door a few feet away from them then they started to push and shove each other to see which one was going to get outside first.
"Noo! Lau let me go first!" Larry said flapping his arms in the air.
"No I need to get to my girl!"
Larry pushed his brother out of the door. "She not even your girl." Lau gave his brother the side eye. They started walking toward the girls smiling, happy that they finally get to see them and spend time with them.
Shakel and Aaliyah were still laughing at how the two had a mini fight over getting through a door when they both could've just walked through at the same time. They walked to the guys to make their walk shorter. Both twins had their arms open and ready for a hug. Aaliyah ran tiptoeing to Laurent and gave him the hug he had been waiting months for.
"Ahh, I missed you!" Laurent said hugging Aaliyah tight. "You look beautiful!"
"Awh I missed you too and thank you." Aaliyah said quickly. They pulled out of the hug and when they looked at Larry and Shakel, the two were kissing. They weren't completely surprised but they also didn't think it wouldn't have happened given how they were when they first met.
"Hey!" Laurent said calling to his brother. "Est-elle votre petite amie ? (Is she your girlfriend?)"
"Ouais je veux savoir trop . (Yeah I want to know too.)" Aaliyah added. Laurent looked at her shocked for a moment. He never heard her speak French, though he knew she could speak it.
"I forget you speak French." He said with his hand on his chest. She smirked at him and laughed.
Shakel pulled away from Larry and looked at the floor for a second then looked up. "Alright how are we doing this Vegas thing?"
"We have all same flight at 1am." Laurent started. "Me and my brother need to go back to the hotel to get our stuff and go to the airport."
"We gotta go home and get our stuff then get to the airport." Aaliyah said pointing at herself and Shakel. The group of four were walking toward the front of the venue.
"Are y'all waiting for someone to get you right now?" Larry asked. Shakel laughed loudly. Everyone looked at her weird. "Why was funny?" Larry asked Shakel with his eyebrow raised.
"Cause she's stupid. Anyways, no, we drove. Well I drove." Aaliyah said pulling her keys out of her pocket.
"I never know you drive!" Laurent said excited.
"Well okay.. Not sure how that's so surprising but yes, I do drive.. In my car.. All the time." Aaliyah said slowly. "It's 10:00 now so we should probably get to the airport before 12. So we'll meet you there?"
Laurent started playing with Aaliyah's keys then slipped them out of her hand and replaced it with his hand, lacing their fingers. She looked down at their hands then back up at him and smiled.
"Hmm.." Larry hummed. "Why don't we come with you to get you stuff and come to us hotel then we go to airport all together?" He said throwing his arm over Shakel as they walked, bringing them closer together.
"Huh!" Laurent said smiling with his hand out agreeing with his brother. "Sounds good, yeah?"
Shakel took a deep breath. "Yes."
"Is this just a way of saying you want to come to our house?" Aaliyah squinted at the twins.
"Yes." Larry said fast.
Laurent shrugged. "I want to see you car. I don't care about the house." He and Larry laughed.
Aaliyah shook her head. "Whatever, lets go then." She said as they walked around the corner finally getting to the front of the Staples Center.
"But did you hear Aaliyah si-" Shakel was suddenly cut off by someone screaming.
"Larry! Laurent! Oh my god!" A random fan screamed running up to them causing other people to look in their direction because it wasn't hard to spot the twins in a crowd because of their height.
"Oh god.." Shakel and Aaliyah said in unison.
"I love you guys so so soooo much! Can I have a picture with you?" The girl said so excited that she was nearly tearing up. She held her phone in front of her shaking it. Other people started surrounding the girls and the twins. Laurent let go of Aaliyah's hand and Larry took his arm off of Shakel.
"Sure! We love you too." Larry said grabbing the girls phone and holding it up to get a picture of all the of them. After the flash went off he handed her phone back to her and another girl swooped in and took a selfie with Larry. People started hand their phones and sharpies to Laurent asking him to sign their phone case and all sorts of things. Shakel and Aaliyah didn't like being in the closed circle so they pushed out of it and stood to the side. Laurent turned around to find more people and not who he was really looking for.
"Yo, where's my girl? Larry! We gotta go man." Laurent said making the cut signal to his brother.
He nodded. "We really have to go guys, we love you though." Larry said signing somebodies phone case and handing it back. Laurent had pushed his way through the small crowd and found the girls again.
"Did he just say his girl? He has a girlfriend? What?! She probably ugly." Some random girl in that little crowd yelled.
Aaliyah rolled her eyes after she heard that. "Mad or nah? Mad, with her no facts having ass." Shakel said then laughed.
"Larry! S'avancer ! (Come on!)" Laurent yelled to his brother.
Larry was slowly but surely emerging from the crowd. He kept say bye and waving to people until he was completely out of the crowd. Not that Laurent was trying to be rude to the fans by walking away like that, he just had better things to think about.. Like the airport they had to be at in an hour and a half. The girl that questioned if Laurent had a girlfriend was looking in their direction and Shakel took notice of it.
"3 o'clock, mean mugging like shit." Shakel said nudging Aaliyah. Aaliyah glanced over and seen the girl giving her a stank look.
"Uh.. Excuse me! Can I take YO order?" Aaliyah said to the girl with an attitude giving her the same stank face back. "Stop looking at me like that, I know I'm cute! Damn."
Shakel busted out laughing. Laurent looked over his shoulder at the girl Aaliyah was talking to and shook his head.
"Bitch wasn't nobody looking at you!" The girl said back.
"Nah, you were clearly looking right at me with a stank ass face like I killed your dog or some shit. Please." Aaliyah said with her hand pointed at the girl.
"Yo, woah, calm down! Calm down!" Laurent said putting his hands on Aaliyah's shoulders.
"What's going on?" Larry said approaching them.
"Girl over there is mad that Aaliyah has Lau's attention." Shakel explained.
"Bitch ain't nobody mad that that ugly ho has his attention, I could have his attention if I wanted it!" The unknown girl said taking a few steps closer to the group.
"Wait a muthafuckin' minute! I don't know who you calling a bitch but I know it ain't me." Shakel said walking closer to the girl. Larry stepped in front of her and stopped her from going any further.
"Woooah! We need to leave, now." Larry said laughing.
Aaliyah grabbed Shakel's hand and started walking toward the parking lot. "Let's go, Shark." The twins just followed behind them. Aaliyah started skipping and humming along the way for a few minutes and then stopped in front of a white car.
"You have my keys Lau." She said turning to him and holding her hand out for her keys. Lau handed her the keys and she clicked the button to unlock the car.
"Whaaaat!? That's you car?!" Larry said with big eyes looking at the black and silver 2013 G550 Mercedes Benz SUV.
"Yes." Aaliyah said skipping around to the drivers side and got in and turned on the car. Everyone else got in and Aaliyah put on some music and turned it up loud.
"Hey I know this song!" Laurent said nodding his head to the song. Him and Larry were dancing in the backseat while the girls caught the vibe in the front seat. They rolled all of the windows down because the California air felt nice. The They left the parking spot and got to the main exit. As they got to the exit they noticed the girl that they were arguing with walking and was about to cross the walk way but stopped. Shakel stood up through the sun roof and yelled to the girl waiting to cross.
"Hurry up and cross the street!" Shakel said giving her a stank face.
"And you better not look both ways, or we gon hit you bitch!" Aaliyah and Shakel yelled.
The girl noticed the twins in the backseat dancing to the blaring music in the car. She rolled her eyes and started to cross. Once she crossed Aaliyah sped off and blew her horn and Shakel sat back down in her seat and put her seatbelt on. They finally got back to their house 20 minutes later.
"Sorry for the way I was driving, that's how I drive when I'm mad." Aaliyah said turning down the music then turned the car off and got out of the car.
"You drive too much crazy when you mad. I was scared. But not like him." Larry pointed at Laurent getting out of the car. "He drive crazy all time."
"He lie! I don't drive crazy!" Laurent said pointing at his brother.
Aaliyah laughed. "I'll have to see for myself cause I know Larry is a liar."
Shakel and Larry side-eyed her. "Okay.." They said at the same time.
"You house is so big.. Like why?" Larry stated.
Aaliyah ignored his statement. Everybody followed behind her as they walked into the house. She immediately started jogging up the stairs and they followed. "This is my room." She said walking into it. Laurent followed behind her and walked into the dimly lit room.
Shakel walked into her room and Larry followed. She turned on her light quickly because Larry's tall shadow scared her because she didn't think he had followed her into her room. "Ooh, Larry!" She yelled quietly.
He looked at her confused. "What?"
"You! Ooh!" She said again with her fists balled up at her sides.
"What I do?" He was still confused.
"You almost got punched in yo fucking throat! You scared me, you gotta announce yourself."
"How.. I didn't do anything?" He was still confused. He sat down on her bed and looked around her room. "You have so much space in here!"

Aaliyah turned on her light and kicked off her shoes. She closed the door and Laurent looked at her then around her room. "It's so much space in here.."
Twin telepathy. Thinking the exact same thing without even knowing it.
Aaliyah shuffled around her room grabbing shoes and other things she didn't pack yet and putting them in her large backpack. She finished packing then took a seat next to Laurent on her bed. Laurent was just smiling.
"You ever been to Vegas?" He turned and asked.
"Nope." She answered short, scrolling through Instagram on her phone.
"I'm going to have so much fun with you then." Laurent said poking her leg.
She giggled and moved her leg away. Aaliyah is highly ticklish so those little pokes he did felt funny.
"You ticklish right there?" He laughed.
"I'm ticklish like everywhere.. And I don't like my legs being touched so yes." She giggled.
Laurent started tracing Aaliyah's hand on the bed. "Aaliyah.."
"Laurent.." She said looking up at him from her phone.
He paused for a second. "Don't we gotta go?" That's not what he wanted to say but it was a good question.
"Yeah, the Über should be here any minute."
"Oh okay.. Good." He rested his hand on top of hers and intertwined their fingers once again. "You have soft hands."
"Thank you, everyone says that! I don't put anything on my hands so I don't know why they're so soft." She said putting her phone down and looking at her other hand. Her phone vibrated. Aaliyah stood up and Laurent was still sitting down and looked up at her. "Are we leaving now?"
"Yeah, I need to tell Shakel." Aaliyah said sliding her feet into her shoes by her door.
She walked across the hall and into Shakel's room to find Larry on top of her and them kissing aggressively. Aaliyah's eyes widened and she backed up slowly. She quickly walked back into her room and started laughing. Laurent looked at her with his eyebrow raised and asked what was funny. She told him what she saw and they walked across hall and seen it still happening.
Laurent shook his head chuckling. "Larry."
"Shakel." Aaliyah said trying to hold in her laugh.
No response. It was like they were deaf when they were with each other. When they were kissing at least. Aaliyah walked away laughing and grabbed her backpack and went downstairs and outside to the Über. She put her backpack in the trunk then walked back into the house and bumped into Larry and Laurent walking outside. She giggled lightly and stood by the door waiting for Shakel to come down the stairs. Once she seen her friend jogging down the stairs with her bag she smiled and held in her laugh. Shakel looked at her friend embarrassed.
"Mhm.. I was waiting for you at the door." Aaliyah said then cocked her head to the side and made a 'yupp that's right' face at Shakel then they both started laughing.
"Shut up, let's go." Shakel laughed pushing Aaliyah out of the house and locking the door as she walked out.
They all got into the car and made their way to the twins hotel on the way Shakel and Aaliyah kept laughing because of what happened at the door. It was 11:15 by time they got to the hotel. They grabbed their stuff and followed the guys inside. The whole elevator ride was quiet but consisted of Aaliyah and Shakel cocking their heads to the side at each other back and forth. They stepped off of the elevator laughing and leaning against each other. The twins didn't understand a thing going on but found it extremely funny.
"Y'all so weird." Larry said shaking his head laughing at the girls.
The group walked down the long hallway to where the twins room was. Laurent opened the door and walked in and turned the light on and the others walked in. Shakel was surprised that they actually had a room together. It made sense that their room was together since they were only in L.A for a day so why pay for two rooms when they weren't even going to be sleeping there.
"I'm hungry.. I'll come back." Larry said looking out of the window. He turned around and started walking toward the door.
"Food? I'm coming with you!" Shakel said hopping up and throwing her bag down and following behind Larry.
"Attendre ! Je ai besoin de vous parler. (Wait! I need to talk to you.)" Laurent said stopping his brother.
"Okay. Excuse us." Larry said then he and his brother walked outside and closed the door.
"Je aime vraiment cette fille, Larry. (I really like this girl)" Laurent groaned. "Mais je ne sais pas comment le dire à son. (But I do not know how to say it to her.)" He said balling his fist and lightly biting his knuckles.
"Just tell her!" Larry said almost annoyed.
"But you don't understand, I'm scared to!"
"Just tell her! Vous commencez à me faire chier. (You are starting to piss me off.)" Larry rolled his eyes.
Laurent walked back into the room aggravated by his brother. "Tu êtes pas d'aide.. (You're no help.) Hurry up and get back here."
"Come on Shakel." Larry said holding the door for her. She hopped up and made her way out of the room. The door closed behind her leaving Laurent and Aaliyah alone.
Aaliyah was on her phone and Laurent was lightly pacing around the room.
"What's wrong boo?" Aaliyah asked Lau without looking up from her phone.
"You.." He spoke softly.
She looked up from her phone. "Me? What did I do?"
He turned to look at her. "Do you like me?" He said quickly.
"Yes.. Why?" She responded slowly.
"Because you don't show it.. And I get scared to ask you to be my girl cause I really want you to be my girlfriend." He explained.
"Yeah, I know. I have this wall up and I don't really let.." Then Aaliyah smiled. "Wait, you want me to be your girlfriend? Really?"
"Hell yes!" He smiled. "You so beautiful.. I don't want to say 'I love you' but like.. I love you." He stated truthfully. "You get what I mean?"
The words I love you shocked her. "I think so.. I just.. No. What do you mean?" She said exhaling loudly.
"I love you personality and style and stuff you know. I don't know how to explain it." He tried to explain but started getting flustered. "I just tell my brother that but he don't want to help me. That's why I get mad at him just now."
Aaliyah got up and tiptoed over to him with a little smile on her face. "Do you really want me to be your girlfriend?" She said grabbing his shoulders.
His natural reaction to her grabbing his shoulders was to grab her waist. "Yes, forreal." He said the getting a bit flustered once again.
"I will definitely be your girlfriend, so stop getting all flustered boo." She said calmly and smiled putting her hands through his afro playfully.
He smiled back at her feeling like the world had been lifted off his chest. "So I can do this now?" He leaned down and kissed her on the lips softly a few times. When he pulled away, she looked at the floor smiling. She looked back up at him and nodded with a cheeky smile on her face.
"I love you dimples! They make you have baby face." He said cupping her face with one hand and placing his index finger and thumb on her cheeks. She closed her eyes tight and shook her head.
"Noo, don't say that. I don't have a baby face." She opened her eyes and poked her bottom lip out. He let go of her face.
He laughed. "But you do.. I think it's cute."
She smiled. "Fine, fine."
Laurent looked down at her with lust filled eyes and he bit his lip. He closed the gap between them so that they were chest to chest and they kissed. This time with more passion. Suddenly, there were loud bangs on the door and the sound of Larry shouting for the door to be opened at once.
Laurent groaned. "You don't have you key?" He said walking across the room to the door.
"Open the fucking door, Lau! Shakel needs help!"
"What?!" Aaliyah and Laurent said together and he sped up to the door and opened it immediately to see Larry holding Shakel bridal style and her wheezing hard.
"We was walking here, she laugh and then she start doing this. I just pick her up and run." Larry explained.
He hurried inside and sat her in the chair and asked Aaliyah what to do. Aaliyah started rummaging through Shakel's bag to find her asthma medicine. Shakel's wheezing got worse as the few seconds passed by. Larry and Laurent stood by worried and hoping that Aaliyah found the medicine fast enough. Once Aaliyah found it she quickly handed it to Shakel and she took two quick pumps of the medicine and she started to regain her breath again slowly but surely. On the inside Aaliyah was coming down from a mini panic attack because she'd never been in that situation. She sat on the floor on her knees taking deep breaths with her hand on her chest.
"Tu souffrez d'asthme aussi ? (You have asthma too?)" Laurent asked.
She shook her head and chuckled. "No but I thought I almost lost my friend."
"She's okay now, right?" Larry asked and walked over to Shakel. Aaliyah nodded.
"Yes, I'm okay." Shakel responded smiling at Larry.
"The Über is here.." Aaliyah said standing up looking at her phone lighting up on the bed.
Everyone got up and grabbed their stuff while Aaliyah started fixing Shakel's bag after she nearly tore it apart looking for her medicine. They started heading down to the lobby. Aaliyah looked at herself in the mirror before she left the room, making her the last person to walk out but Laurent waited for her halfway down the hallway. When she left the bathroom she saw her stuff gone and she walked out to see Lau halfway down the hallway holding her backpack on his left shoulder and her purse in his left hand with his rolling suitcase and duffle bag on top of it to the right of him.
"You didn't have to do that Lau. I could've grabbed it." She said walking toward him with her phone in her hand.
"I don't mind." He said handing just the purse to her.
"Thats so cute.." She said grabbing her purse. Laurent took hold of her hand and laced their fingers. Seems like he loves to make sure he has a hold on what he wants. The couple walked down the hall and hopped in the elevator and finally got to the lobby and seen Larry checking out of the hotel while Shakel was putting her and Larry's stuff in the car. Larry looked over and seen his brother carrying a pink backpack and holding hands with Aaliyah, he raised an eyebrow then continued to finish checking out. They walked outside and went to put their stuff in the car. Lau told Aaliyah she could get in the car and he would take care of everything else so she did exactly that. Shakel slid in next to Aaliyah and slapped her arm.
"Girl.." Aaliyah said looking at Shakel.
"What?"
"You're his girlfriend now huh?" She smiled.
"Shit I should be asking you that question because you and Larry been ignoring us asking."
"When did you ask? I don't remember that." Shakel asked confused.
Aaliyah rolled her eyes. "Yeah because y'all was too busy eating each other's faces after the concert." She started laughing and slapping her knee.
"Funny, funny. Shut up. But I honestly don't know." She answered truthfully.
Aaliyah gave Shakel a look of disbelief. "Oh no.. That's unacceptable." She sat back and shook her head.
They got to the airport 10 minutes later and went through all of the normal airport actions then sat and waited for their flight to start boarding. The fact that her best friend was unsure of where she and Larry stood, irritated Aaliyah. She kept looking at Larry who would occasionally glance at Shakel then go back to doing whatever on his phone. Aaliyah's leg fidgeted. She was itching to get up and talk to Larry but she didn't exactly like Larry on a friendly level. Yet.
"Larry come here!" Aaliyah whisper yelled to him. He looked over confused. She patted the seat next to her. Larry came to her and sat. "So is she your girlfriend?" She spoke quietly.
"No. Why?"
"Why not?" She replied immediately.
"I don't know how to ask. She know I like her though." Larry said answering her question. "I'm not going to hurt you friend, don't worry." He smiled.
Aaliyah smiled back and placed her hand on his shoulder. "Well good luck asking her."
"You should help me.. Please, I'll love you forever. You can be my best friend." Larry said giving her a cheesy smile. Aaliyah contemplated it for a minute and Larry continued to say please.
"Okay okay.. Even though you didn't help your brother ask me. I'll be nice to you and help." Aaliyah gave him a disappointed look.
"Ah.. He didn't need my help!"
"Yes he did! He was so mad because he didn't know how to tell me. I had to calm him down."
"He be a little bitch sometime." Larry said shaking his head.
Aaliyah slapped his arm hard. "Hey!"
"Whaaat? He is! Sometime." Larry said trying to keep his point. "Ouch.. You hit hard." His reaction was so delayed it made Aaliyah laugh.
"Because I was trying to hurt you." She said then smiled. "Just for that I'm not going to help you."
"Aaliyah.. Come on." He softened his voice.
She shook her head and smiled. "Nope. It's karma."
"Ugh! You suck." Larry got up and went back to his seat.
Sitting in the airport for 45 minutes was so boring. Aaliyah was getting sleepy because there was nothing to do and then she'd have to sit still on a plane for another 45 minutes. She decided to take a walk just to do something because she was bored. She didn't bother to ask Shakel to go with her because she was too busy playing some game on her phone that was clearly taking all of her attention because she didn't realize that Larry tried to talk to her twice.
"I'll be back."
Laurent looked up from his laptop. "But I don't want you to go.." He thought in his head. "Okay." He said then returned to looking at his laptop.
"Oh you're not gonna come with me? Fine." Aaliyah said then started walking away.
"I'll come, I'll come." Laurent said putting his laptop down on the seat next to him. He snapped his fingers at Larry as he got up. "Larry! Garder un oeil sur mes affaires. (Keep an eye on my stuff.)"
Larry looked at his brother and nodded then started messing with Shakel. As Laurent and Aaliyah started walking over the intercom they announced that the flight to Las Vegas was boarding.
"Dammit!" Aaliyah said in a weird way very loudly.
"Why you say that?" Laurent laughed at the way she said it.
"I don't want to sit in a stupid chair anymore." She whined as they started walking back.
"You can sit on me!" Laurent said happily.
Aaliyah looked at him for a few seconds then started laughing. "Silly.."
"I'm serious." He said with a straight face.
Aaliyah shook her head and they all grabbed their stuff and started to board the plane.
"Oh yay! Another 45 minute wait!" Aaliyah thought. "This should be fun.." She said out loud.
Once they boarded the plane they got to their seats but only after switching seats countless times because Larry absolutely had to have the window seat, they got comfortable and waited for the plane to take off. The only reason they switched so much is because Larry and Aaliyah both wanted a window seat but Laurent and Shakel didn't want to sit next to each other and also Laurent didn't want a window seat sooo... Larry and Laurent sat next to each other with Lau in the aisle seat and Shakel and Aaliyah sitting together with Shakel in the aisle seat. Picky, picky people. Everybody but Larry turned their cell phones off.
"This nigga just want everyone to die." Shakel said glaring at Larry.
"I'm not turning my phone off." Larry said.
"Larry cesser d'être une bite et éteignez votre téléphone! (Stop being a dick and turn off your phone.)" Laurent slapped his brother. "You scare her." He said referring to Shakel.
"No, I scare you." He spoke back.
Lau glared at his brother. "Shut up."
"Did you take your medicine Shakel? I don't need you having an asthma attack on the plane." Aaliyah said grabbing some gum out of her pocket.
"Yes mom." Shakel joked taking a piece of gum from Aaliyah.
"Shut up." Aaliyah laughed.
The plane started taking off while Shakel and Laurent got quiet. Larry and Aaliyah looked at each other across the aisle and smiled.
These next two days are going to be fun.
