"Here" turning around I shook my head to Nathan as he stood with a cold bottle of butter beer held out to me as I turned back and looked at the half built broom shed I had been trying to build as I went to pick the saw up off of the ground when I was stopped as he propped his arm on my shoulder and looked at me
"So why are you building this?"
"Nadia wants it done"
"So why doesn't she do it?"
"Because she's never around to do it" I told him with a shrug as he offered me the bottle back and I took it from him as I took the lid off and looked back to the shed after having taken a drink, realising just how much there was to do
"You've been out here for hours, you've done quite a bit by yourself"
"I'm used to doing things by myself"
"Do you want a hand?"
"No it's fine. I'm managing"
"I'll help. We can use magic" he told me as a relieved smile crossed my face and I took one last drink before setting the bottle down

"Thank fuck that's done" I sighed a few hours later as we looked at the finished shed
"It's a good days work"

"Let the success be equal to the labour?"
"You speak Latin" I said surprised as I turned my head to him and watched a smile grow on his face as I smirked at him
"Fluently"
"I didn't know that"
"I can tell. By the way, what happened with Alex last week?"
"Nothing. I need to go for a shower"
"Amelia-"
"Shower" I cut across Nathan as I stepped back and disappeared inside as I went upstairs and took a quick shower before going to my wardrobe, changing into my quidditch robes with a smile before heading back outside with my broom in hand as I walked to the shed, finding both Holly and Oscar inside as I raised an eyebrow
"What the fuck are you two doing?"
"Looking around"
"Well, if you wanted to look around that desperately, you could've helped build it" I told them before turning around as I mounted my broom, about to kick off when a shout came from behind me and I dropped my broom while turning around
"What now?" I asked exasperatedly as I walked over, Holly with her back to me as Oscar tried to peer over her shoulder as I turned her towards me. My eyes going wide, I stared at the blood running thick and fast down her hand as I looked at the chunk taken out of her thumb as I quickly tore off part from the hem of my robes and wrapped it around her thumb tightly and quickly as she stood there sobbing as Oscar tried to look around me
"What happened?"
"She's cut her thumb-"
"Jesus Christ, it can't be that bad, Holly. Stop being dramatic-"
"Oscar... you have never been a more endangered species. So do yourself a favour and fuck off!"
"Ouch" he muttered as I pushed him from the shed as I tore off more of my robes as I tried to wipe away the blood that had started to stain my green robes
"You're fine"
"That fucking nail!"
"Here" I mumbled as I offered her my sleeve and she started wiping at her face, failing, as the tears kept on falling
"You just need some dittany, come on"
