"Nathan, I only talk to a few Gryffindors. And she isn't one of them-"
"I didn't know Amelia-"
"I know. But nobody goes near that horse without me knowing who they are or why they want to" I told Nathan over my shoulder as I walked through the corridors quickly, scanning around as he walked a couple of paces behind me
"She wouldn't have of done anything that could've-"
"We don't know that Nathan. She could've given her banana skin for all we know"
"I doubt it Lia"
"Yes well I wouldn't put it past her to do something like that, she's a complete and utter cow-"
"Who is?"
"Nobody, excuse me" I muttered to Cedric as I made a move to step around him as I was grabbed and picked up as I hit his arms while he turned to Nathan
"Where to?"
"Nadia's quarters" he told him laughing as I scowled at Nathan who grinned at me and Cedric started walking as I continued looking around as the two spoke to each other and we finally got to the quarters as I was set down and I made an attempt to turn around as Nathan grabbed me, kicking the door open before shoving me in as I let out a slight yelp, stumbling as I toppled to the ground
"Oh fuck-"
"Ow... Lia are you okay?"
"Yeah. I'm good-"
"Okay, that's fine. I don't have a reason to feel bad now-"
"Fuck you Dalmer"
"Amelia-"
"Cedric! He threw me to the bloody floor!" I told him loudly as I stood up and looked at him as he turned away and I walked to the kitchen
"I know you were laughing!" I called to him as I pushed the kitchen door open, smiling when Adam turned around, nobody else in the kitchen as I went over to him for a hug
"I was laughing too"
"Of course you were laughing. You like to mock me"
"No, I don't actually. It was just a funny situation" he told me as we both started laughing and I turned my head, watching Nathan walk back in with a grin as I pointed to Adam
"He's my favourite"
"I know he is..."
"Are you guilt tripping me when it was you that threw me to the floor?"
"...yes I am-"
"You're a twat-"

Glancing around the dark quarters I looked at the other two who were sitting on the couch, fast asleep as I slipped out of the door. Walking through the dark corridors, a strange cold feeling swept over me even as it neared the end of May as I looked around, meeting nobody as I walked and I finally reached the top of the last staircase I was climbing. Letting out a quiet sigh, I looked at the hospital wing doors at the end of the hall as I walked over, stopping a couple of meters in front of them as I sat down cross legged.
Looking at my watch awhile later I let out another quiet sigh, clicking my fingers as my hand instantly grew white. Having had spare time I had decided to try and gain a little bit of control and power over what I was capable of. Pressing my hand against the floor I lifted it again as I looked at the frosty handprint left before dragging my finger across the floor as I started drawing shapes to my amusement
"I wasn't sure whether I did hear you leave or not"
"I stood on the creaky bit just before the door"
"I thought it was Adam in his sleep. He's looking around the Charms corridor for you, you know" Nathan told me quietly as I stood up, brushing myself off as I shook my hand slightly, the colour disappearing as I walked over to him while he glanced at the doors behind me
"Pomfrey won't let me in. It's as close as I can get without getting sent away"
"We'll get you in some way, but come on"
