12. Unfair Love

Love is so unfair, since ancient history
If I am in a weighing scale, I will always be in despair
But why? Because I am at the left tip
Holding a tulip, in a royal garden I picked.

The most heartbreaking part, we are inches apart
And never grabbed my hand, even though my life is at stake
Is it because of my flaws? Is it because of my imperfections?
Love will set you free, but why do I feel so confined deep inside?

A mixture of copper and brass, like love never lasts
The scale was high as a building, but can't balance the love I'm giving
I hope it's not the ending, this is not the love story I was hoping
I'd rather fall on the ground with grass, than thousands of broken glass.

But why can't he love me? Why can't he accept me?
I may not be pretty, but my intentions are clear as the sea
But life must go on, sting like a bee
And be what you want to be, and love for eternity...
