5. education?

Everybody says "Academic Freeze" or "What's Wrong With Secretary Briones"
But I think I'll just let my superiors control my future and stop being honest
A different virus is killing me, more deadly and contagious than the rest
The fall of the country, the end of the world and the death of the universe...

The textbooks are still in my house, manifested by intelligent termites
My pens run out of ink and my pencils are as short as an inch
The papers in my house became sculptures 'cause there's too many
My abandoned assignments became never ending "stay at home" homework.

I'll let the senators and judges play with their mallets and paperwork
'Cause I'll just make toneless songs and thousands of poems
I'll just wake up, eat, sleep, and don't give a shit about everything daily
'Cause nothing in this quarantine made me more productive like Taylor Swift's surprise album.

I guess quarantine is the cheap version of soul searching
Instead all I found was ghosts, ghouls, and lost souls
Who would never thought a virus so deadly, make people go to Tiktok
I guess education is just another question to let other people answer tomorrow...
