Some heroes wear capes, some wear spandex, one carried a cross, and now some wear masks
Risking their lives for the existence and survival of mankind
Guarding the streets, occupying the hospitals, and saving the lives of those in need
Some heroes have fallen, some are still thriving, and all that said, life is still worth living and fighting.

We consider the OFWs as our modern heroes, but now that they need help, who is there to assist?
As far as I can remember, the Avengers needed help from other heroes too
And now the frontliners, are there to save the day, wearing their masks, flying through
Painting the skies, embracing the demise, and saying "It's going to be alright."

In such great gratitude I would like to thank everything you have done for us
Risking, saving, healing, fighting, and unfortunately dying
A winsome glee that the world will show in the brightest day, and it's all because of you
Our flower, our savior, and altogether we praise the Lord for giving us the strength to go on.

The epiphany, the seraphim, bringing the unstoppable beams of light
Vanishing the dark skies that the pandemic has brought and caused our hopes in drought
And all I can do is plant the flowers that would make my day complete...

The flower is a water vessel, floating, cleansing and healing through prayers
The vessels that purifies the world, sailing across the vast oceans of viruses.
The heroes of the cleanse, spreading color
The colors of purple, pink and the colors of love, hope and faith.

The frontliners are the hydrangea that I would plant in a garden called life
Spreading through the iron bars, cobblestone pathways, and marble mossed walls
Decorating the garden, that I have been grooming for so long
You are my hydrangea, that brought color in my darkest times, when all is lost, and giving me the light like an unforgettable song.
