2. Golden Leaf

They say it's the root of all evil
Greediness, even in the age of the medieval
The obsession of it made people swindle
And created people that are savages and brutal.

It's so sad that through it they have value
And degraded the poor and never been humble
Many people suffered in hunger and poverty
But left us all behind like animals in a damned sanctuary.

But actually the love and obsession was the root
And never blame a piece of paper for making the world so cruel
It maybe a symbol of wealth and succession
But it can never be brought to the staircase to heaven.

A piece of gold is like a welcoming gift
That status and worth is everything and never blink
All of the shining jewelry makes me sick
Like a hideous tree with one deceiving golden leaf.
