Just landed at Suvarnabhumi Airport at 9
Went for a quick visit in Samut Prakan to visit the place where my love first started with your hands intertwined with mine
Walked through the nostalgic university until we meet the midst of the sunshine
The stone paths where the couple stood, the canteen that was full of spicy food
Went back to Bangkok after a trip down memory lane, going where we should
I've never felt so much love that everybody says that it's no good
This country didn't knew how they always lift up my mood.

Walking through Khao San Road, the street stalls are filled with exotic and ambrosial food
The sticky rice and mouthwatering mangoes
Shopping through Chatuchak Market, so widespread that it'll take you a whole weekend to just walk
Speaking Thai with rhyme to outsmart the overpricing vendors
Their accented screams are pecuniary leitmotif
The local products are multifarious, kaleidoscopic and bravura.

We strolled around the Grand Palace, staggeringly made structure by dexterous masters
My eyes were as sheen as the galaxy while being mesmerized
But the journey didn't end here and there, we also went to Wat Pho and Wat Arun
Astounding temples and structures that was like from a comic book
Golden, like haven
Like the Temple of the Golden Buddha
We were surrounded and profound
The great and giant swing that captured the perfect moment
The stare, the fell, the journey to the deep ocean blue well.

Passed by Wat Suthat and headed to the edifice of history
Filled with artifacts and relics that are preserved through the ancestries
Ancient, flamboyant, but time is not stagnant
It's the afternoon already, despite being swift in our traveling pace
It's time to call it a day, I'll never forget this kind of May.

Bangkok in the afternoon is great like a starry gaze
The temples and skyscrapers are now candescent
I don't need to go to the Floating Market and the white sand of Phuket
All I need is you with me, in this autumn day.

We bought the souvenirs that made us feel at home
The tumbler, gear necklace, acoustic guitar and the clapboard
The Thai massage, the elephant keychain and a delicate kiss on the forehead
Bangkok in the afternoon is all I needed to make me feel that I am wanted.
