I want to marry the woman of my dreams, with all of my heart
But after the honeymoon that's when the real movie starts
Broken glasses, ripped curtains, and spilled wine on hardwood tables
In a matter of fact, the diamond polished earing under the bed was my furtive gift to her instead.

Right from the start she thought I have another partner in bed
I just want to love her so much and not anybody mislead
I know my appearances can deceive anybody who wanted
But don't judge a book by its cover just like everybody said.

Monocles, magnifying glasses and fermented fingerprints
I've loved you so much that now it finally sinks in
That love without trust is like an eagle soaring without wings
Maiden in pictures, deleted conversations and questionable links.

My mother-in-law wouldn't believe to anything I've said, and let rumors and gossip fill her head
I've earned so much money just to see you in a white gown and hidden in a veil
And living happily in our brand new house and our seven children playing in the backyard
But all is lost, just because of a misunderstanding and suspicion
The thirteen years spent together is gone, worthless, driven by the vast oceans
I swear to God, I love no other woman but you
I spent all of my over-time, rackets, gigs, and different sources of income
Just to secure our future, and we won't settle with canned goods and noodles

I don't how I got engaged to a detective in such an early age
My marriage life is full of investigations, trials and cages
After we made love its immediately replaced with rage
I can't stand this anymore, I can't love with a broken faith.
