Chapter Thirty : Shared Secret

' Thank you for the game! ' the boys bowed to the each other. It was indeed a good game. As you were walking down to your team, you heard a familiar voice whining.

' Ugh, Let's go back...I'd rather die than watch the award ceremony ' the voice said. 

' Still not bothering to hide your shitty personality I see ' another voice replied. 

' I never thought you guys would come ' you said approaching them. 

' I wanted to see which team would lose ' Oikawa proudly admitted. 

' Well, what do you think of the results? ' you smirked proudly.

' No need to flex your boyfriend chibi-chan, humph ' Oikawa huffed earning a smack on his head by Iwazumi.

' H-he's not my boyfriend! ' you glared at Oikawa. 

' Stop bothering her with your attitude shittykawa! I'm so sorry for this . It was nice seeing you Y/n-san ' Iwazumi said pulling Oikawa away from you by his ears.

You giggled at Oikawa being scolded by Iwazumi as they walked away from you. You met the boys just as they came out of the door. 

' Congratulations! You guys did it! ' you yelled out grinning from ear to ear. 

' We wouldn't have done it without you guys too ' Daichi said scratching his nape. You beamed at him. 

' Come on! Let's go get some food! ' Tanaka yelled. 

' PORK BUNS!! ' Hinata yelled along and you guys started walking back towards the bus. 

' You did well today bakayama ' you nudged Kageyama on his arm grinning. He stopped walking making him get behind.  

' Tobio? Are you okay? ' you looked back, catching the attention of all the other members. 

' Y/N ! ' he yelled. 

' Y-yes? Why are you yelling- ' 

' I-I like you! P-please go out with me! ' he spoke up and bowed, leaving you all flustered.

' Ohh, Kageyama you finally got the courage huh? ' Tanaka said bringing Kageyama into a one arm hug. 

' Our Kageyama is all grown up huh? ' Sugawara smiled softly. 

' So what's your answer gonna be? ' Kageyama looked up into your eyes with his cheeks flushing with red. 

' Okay.. ' as soon as he heard the word, his face turned into a tomato and a grinned popped up. 

' Finally.. ' Nishinoya and Asahi sighed aloud. 

' Finally? ' you questioned. 

' It was so obvious that you guys like each other. Now go on a date! ' they said making you both blush. 

' Do you wanna go on a d-date? ' Kageyama asked coming up to you and intertwining your fingers with his ' wait no, l-let's go on a date so I can show you that I'm serious about you ' 

You blushed at his comment and nodded smiling ear from ear.

It was finally the day. Kageyama told you that he would pick you up for your date and with that the doorbell rang. You were dressed up in a summer dress and your braided hair was resting on your left shoulder. 

You opened the door to see Kageyama in his casual wear, wide eyed, staring at you. 

' Y-you look amazing ' he blushed while hiding his face a bit so you wouldn't see his blush. It didn't work but hey, A for effort.

' You look amazing too Bakayama ' you teased. 

' It's Tobio to you! ' he huffed making you giggle ' Tsk, l-let's just go '   

You both made your way to the shopping center. You guys were just hanging around the mall, holding hands, looking at stuffs when something caught your attention. Your eyes sparkled and you tugged at Kageyama's shirt. 

' Tobio look! That store have ( your favorite item of choice ) ' 

' Do you wanna take a look? ' he asked. 

' Yess ' you squealed, making your way to the store excited. 

' I guess shopping isn't that bad after all ' Kageyama thought staring at your sparkling eyes. He's totally adding shopping to his favorites. 

Soon, you guys sat down at a restaurant that Kageyama made a reservation for. 

' This place is nice ' you grinned. 

' I chose it c-cause I thought you might like it ' he stuttered. Kageyama hasn't been himself at all today. He's been all embarrassed and stuttering which you found cute. 

' I-I have something to say ' Kageyama said, making you feel a bit anxious. 

' Is he gonna say this was a joke? What if he does? Do I kill him? ' your thoughts surrounded you. 

' I k-kinda heard you on the rooftop that day ' 

' Wait what? '

' Are you serious? ' you felt your cheeks heating up with embarrassment. 

' Y-yeah ' 

' God this is so embarrassing ' you admitted covering your face with your hands. 

' I-it's not! ' he spoke up a little bit too loud startling you and the others in the restaurant. 

' I-i've liked you since that day you played volleyball with us and I've been wanting to c-confess but I thought you deserve someone better so I waited till now to confess. ' he fidgeted with his hands. 

' Wait what do you mean someone better? ' you questioned out of curiosity. 

' You know like I was the King of the court and I want to be someone better for you '  

' That's so sweet of you, Tobio. ' you smiled feeling your heart warmed up by this amazing boy witting right in front of you. 

' I have a secret too. I've liked you since that day ' you added giggling. 

' So wait, we both have the same secret? ' Kageyama gasped. 

' Yep! I guess it was our shared secret ' you both smiled, enjoying the rest of the evening together. This was the start of something new and something beautiful~
