Chapter Twenty Seven : Last day

The boys were having a practice match with Fukurodani today, and Bokuto has gone into his emo mode. There hasn't been much wins and there were so many losses, but they're still not giving up. They've been working on some new techniques that'll be useful and let's just say...they haven't mastered them yet.

' Don't toss to me anymore ' Bokuto spoke up. 

' Alright then. I won't, so please use the time to calm yourself Bokuto-san ' Akaashi replied coolly, leaving Bokuto speechless. 

' Alright boys, I don't know what happened but let's keep pushing! ' Daichi motivated the team. Gathering all the members' concentration back into the game. 

Out of nowhere, Akaashi pulled a setter dump making all of you drop your jaws. None of you guys saw it coming and it was epic. Soon, the match ended with Bokuto earning back the spotlight of an ace. 

' I'm sorrry! I kind of cowered out on my serve ' Asahi apologized to the team. 

' It's okay if you know that Asahi-san. Under that circumstance, how much one is gonna get blamed will effect the team. Afterall, who would want the game to end because of them? ' you lectured. 

' She's talking about you ' Kageyama eyed Hinata.

' Huh? What did you say? ' Hinata replied angrily. 

' Y/n is right. But no one will try to hold back a winning serve. Your attacks were powerful enough to take on Fukurodani, but we must not stop working hard. Don't think that this is your limit. Fly higher! ' Coach Ukai smirked proudly. 

' Yes! Thank you! ' Daichi bowed and the others followed. 

' Now on our final penalty! ' Daichi announced and the boys started doing diving drills for one lap. 

' Dammit! If I just nailed the toss for the quick attack earlier, maybe we would've won ' Kageyama said in frustration. 

' Oi Bakayama! Don't be so hard on yourself and thanks to that, Hinata can now fight. Right Hinata? ' you beamed. Hinata nodded smiling. 

' But that depends on my tosses ' Kageyama spoke up. 

' Don't worry about it. You'll get them in no time ' 

' Oi don't go around deciding things for people ' 

' So you're saying you can't? ' you teased. 

' Of course I can boke! ' he glared at you and went out to search for Hinata. 

' I hope the next time we come here again, it'll be a bit cooler ' Suga said wiping off his sweat.

' That is..if we win ' Asahi said with anxiety laced in the words. 

' Of course, we'll win boke ' Daichi said making you remember Kageyama. ' Is he trying to sound like Kageyama? ' 

' Negativitttyy begoneee! ' Suga chopped Asahi in his waist, causing Asahi to wince. 

Soon all the teams gathered around to have barbeque. The four karasuno gremlins were overjoyed, and they even started dancing. You saw kageyama doing his little dance. 

' That's cute ' you thought to yourself as you head over to the managers so you can help them with the cooking. 

The boys started grilling the meat and Kaori was giving out the vegetables. You were cutting some onions and they started putting up a fight, making your eyes sting. You were soon sniffling your nose and were on the verge of tears. 

' Are you crying? ' Kageyama voice came out from the back of you making you jump.

' Be careful dumbass! What if you cut yourself? ' he scolds. A smile made it's way onto your face as you try to contain yourself from blushing. 

' What are you doing here anyways bakayama? ' 

' Oh, I thought I'd bring you some food since you have just been chopping onions ' he said handing you a plate full of grilled meat and veggies. Now this just made you hard to not smile. 

' Thanks, bakayama ' you smiled. 

' No problem and call me Tobio from now on ' he said with a slight blush and fidgeting with his hands.  

' Okay then Tobio! ' you emphasized on his name, making him blush to a bright red. 

' B-boke! ' he said before walking away towards the boys. You smiled to yourself at his gesture.

' You're making me like you harder tobio..' you thought to yourself as you ate the food. You looked at the boys who were shoving food into their faces and giggled. Kageyama has his mouth filled and just as you were making your way to the boys, Kageyama started choking on his food. 

You ran towards him, grabbing a cup of water but before you could do it, Kageyama was already drinking from the cup of water that Akaashi gave him. You giggled at the boys and went back to Kiyoko and Yachi to help them making onigiris. 

While Kiyoko was passing around onigiris, you noticed Nishinoya, Tanaka and Tora doing their ritual to keep the other boys away from their goddess. Honestly, you're not surprised. Kiyoko is a divine creation.

You went back to the managers and started eating with them. 

' Oh by the way Y/n-chan, I'm sorry for asking about Kageyama. I didn't know you guys were together ' Kaori apologized.

' W-we aren't d-dating ' you stuttered blushing. 

' Whhaa really? I really thought you guys look really good together ' Yukie said with her mouth full. 

' Slow down, no one will steal your food ' Kaori said laughing. 

' Hey! There's no telling ' Yukie said grabbing more meat and stuffing her mouth. 

You and the other girls started chuckling at her behavior earning a lot of attention from the guys.

' They're beauties. We've been graced by goddesses. ' Tora said and other players nodded their head in union. 

Soon the training camp was over and it was time for you guys to go back to Karasuno. As you got off the bus, you could see the determination in their eyes and you couldn't feel more proud. You knew at that exact moment that the boys were ready to take on Tooru.
