You were sitting in class and listening to the lecture, while the seatmate beside you was quietly sleeping. You sneaked a peek at him and you felt heat rising to your cheeks. ' He really is attractive, I wonder if he has a girlfriend ', your mind drifted off. You scolded yourself mentally to focus on the lecture, but you still caught yourself wanting to see him more. ' This isn't the time for you to appreciate how your seatmate looks y/n, you should focus in class ' You shook your head and glanced at him, greeting you was a pair of sleepy navy eyes. You could feel your heart bumping against your chest.
' Kageyama could you read the next part? ' the teacher asked, which made you snapped back to reality inside the classroom. You saw Kageyama all flustered not knowing which part to read, so you decided to help.

' It's the last part on page 64 ' You whispered quietly so that no one would hear except Kageyama.
''Thanks y/n – chan 'he smiled and you feel your cheeks getting red.
' Your welcome kageyama-kun ' you softly said.
' Oh sorry, Is it alright for me to call you that? ' he asked after he finished reading his part, stuttering due to nervousness from the reading. You nodded and you had a feeling that you guys will be good friends.
At lunch, you went to the cafeteria with your friend Hikari, who you made friends with on the first day of school. On the way there, you encountered the school beauty Tamano Yuno. She's the most beautiful girl in the school but however she's got a bad personality. One that you particularly don't like.
' Hey Hikari, you got yourself a new friend. Congrats! I'm surprised that anyone would be your friend "considering your appearance" ' she said mockingly and all her friends giggled.
' Hey, Let's just go. Ignore them. They're not worth your time. I'm pretty sure all the people at school prefer you over her ' you slightly giggled to your friend.
' What did you just say? Do you not know who I am? How dare you say that to me?' Yuno glared at you.
' It doesn't matter who you are. If you're bullying someone, you'd have to be so deeply insecure to the point you're projecting your insecurities onto another person. ' you expressed calmly. Some of the students started gossiping and mumbling, filling the cafeteria with noises.
' I'll make you pay for this someday ' she announced, stomping away with embarrassment.

After school, you rushed to your volleyball club excitedly only to find out that your year isn't going to be fun as you thought it would be. Yuno was in your volleyball club and she smirked at you like she just found out how to make you suffer. ' No choice but to put up with a bitch if I want to keep myself involved in volleyball ' you shrugged and started warming up.
It was time for practice and Michimiya-senpai set Yuno and you together in a team and you were not happy about it. Although she was trying to be act friendly in front of the captain, you could sense that her intentions were not pure.
During the game, she gave you tosses that were either too long, too short or too high. Michimiya-senpai was patient with you both but you could see that the patience is running out. ' Guess the only way I'm gonna have a good set is if I confront her '
' Look, can you toss the ball nicely to me? I know you don't like me and I don't like you either but lets keep that aside for now and try to win this game ' you expressed nicely. Then she gave you a smirk and started crying. The captain noticed and asked Yuno what happened.
' She said horrible things to me senpai. I only wanted to give her tosses that she could get but she's blaming me for not being able to give her good tosses. I'm trying my best and yet she's telling me that I'm not trying hard enough.'
You tried to explain to your captain but before you could, the captain shut your words down with a warning that you'll be kicked out if you keep you this kind of act. Feeling frustrated, you decided to just avoid Yuno in the volleyball club unless you really have no choice but to interact with her.
